TWO QUESTION,PLEASE HELP!!!,THANKS

Question

I had set up the stream replication environments,
which are from OLTP A to Warehouse C and from OLTP B to Warehouse C respectively,
A--->C
B--->C
and I build two APPLY PROCESSES TO apply changes origins from two source A and B,
the operating system is :linux 9 redhat;
oracle db system is :9.2.0.4 with two patchset appled
Now two questions puzzle me, would u mind giving me some advises,thanks in advance!
1) HOW CAN I CONTROL THE SCHEDUAL JOB WITH T+1 MODE
(that is I want apply all the dml changes ,which occur at source db A and B before 24:00:00,after the 24:00:00 changes at A and B will not apply at the C until the next day)
2) HOW CAN I Write THE RMAN DELETING ARCHIVE SCRIPTS TO ALWAYS KEEP ARCHIVES THAT the Minimum Archive Log Necessary To Restart Capture (Note:275323.1)
in the situation 2),sometimes the apply process will fail for some reasons,I want to control RMAN always not to delete the necessary archives that captures needed at restarting period in case of the applys fail.have some tips?

I don't actually understand your first question since in my time-count 24:00 does noet exist and 0:00 is actually allready the next day. But may be you could let the apply process put the changes on a queue (dbms_apply_adm.set_enqueue_destination(rule_name => ...., destination_queue_name =>...);). Then you could have one or more pl/sql jobs to dequeue the changes based on the enqueue-time and have them apply the changes.
As far as I've understood RMAN won't/cannot delete archived logs that are still needed by capture process. So I don't see a problem there. But let the other streams guru's correct me if I'm wrong.
