Where in Itunes do I go to, adjust the settings so that when I plug my ipod into the computer, I can manually import my songs onto my ipod, without itunes automatically doing it for me?
My next question is what song format takes up the least amount of space on your ipod (mp3, AIFF, wav., etc...)?

there's no way for you to identify which machines have or had cs3 activated, and you can no longer purchase a cs3 license from adobe.
you can request an activation count reset (Contact Customer Care) and deactivate your cs3 on all your computers. you can then install and activate on up to two computers.

So here is the problem.
We use PPTP VPN for our Exe's at my company and most of them are using airbooks or power books now.
They also use the ATT USB Mercury/ATT USB lighting cards for in emergency no network connection while traveling.
10.5 - all works great no issues ... ATT cards VPN no issues
10.6 - ATT cards work fine to get to the internet but as soon as you fire up the vpn connection and get connected to the vpn all traffic stops no internet and no intranet access. ( we send all traffic over the PPTP connections )
Both are connected and with out errors .. sometimes if you wait 30 minutes it all starts working , disconnect and re try nada.
I have upgraded firmware in the ATT cards , using the new 3Gwatcher application provided by sierra wireless and still nothing.
The PPTP works fine form home wireless , hotels , hot-spots seems to be related to the att cards form all the troubleshooting I am doing
Anyone have any thoughts - i did send a support ticket into sierra for some help to but I figured maybe you guys have seen this and no a fix or solution

I set my security question a couple of years ago and now can't remember the answers and the email I set up to retrieve the answers I also can not remember the password to. So if you guys have any easy solutions... I can get on my account and buy things easily on my ipod, but when I try on my mac I have to answer the security questions. Help please!

Iphoto no fullscreen icon. and does autosave work for you all?

Hello all! I just updated to Lion today. I am a little confused because I thought iphoto is supposed to have fullscreen option now? There's no fullscreen icon on the top right corner for me. I have a 2009 macbook pro. Is it because it's too old?
Another question. Are Word and Pages supposed to save automatically with Lion? Mine still ask me to save when I close the apps. Need help!

iPhoto from the iLife '11 suite does have the fullscreen mode. Do you have this version and all the software updates installed?
iWork has an update for Lion to make use of the new features like Versions, Autosave, Fullscreen.

Two questions: chmod and restore all of mail

What must I type on the command line to make all files readable by anyone on my time machine external disk?
I tried chmod 777 /volumes/2 TB
(2 TB is the name of the drive)
and how may I restore from a few days ago all my mail, i.e. the application, preferences, and mail boxes (and their contents). At the moment I can only view them as system admin. i.e. root.

If you perform any such commands on your Time Machine volume it is unlikely you will ever be able to restore from it. You will have to use system admin to restore any applications. They may or may not work. You can copy the other documents to your machine in a place like /Users/Shared. Then, as a standard user, you can copy the file to where they need to be. The copy operation will set the ownership. Hopefully it will work. When you are all done, you should erase your Time Machine and start a new one.

HELLO SAUSAGE,thanks 4 ya reply.you'll be pleased to know that REALPLAYER does support IPOD,infact not only does it support it,i wud recomend using it instead of Itunes,i say this because its realy easy to manage files and playlists,and you can transfer playlists from ipod to realplayer,which if ya not aware is a pain in the *** to do in itunes.SERIOUSLY try realplayer its alot smarter than itunes

i) is there a way to make AppleScript wait for a certain amount of time?
ii) is there a way to repeat the script over and over again?

If you do just want a pause in the middle of a script, delay is the command you want:
<pre class=command>delay 10</pre>
However, I'm guessing your two questions are related - you want to run a piece of code periodically.
In that case, the easiest way is to write an idle handler. This is called automatically, as often as you define:
<pre class=command>on idle
-- your code here
return 60
end idle</pre>
If you save this as a 'Stay Open' script the code will run your code, then wait 60 seconds and run it again, and again, and again, until quit/cancelled.
The return value indicates how long to wait before calling the idle handler again.

You all have made a BIG mistake on our bill

we have two (2) apple iPhone 5c's on they quote "$45 unlimited talk & text + 250MB." As hard as it may be for you all to understand, 45+ 45 = $90.

Are You All Able to get the Output In EXCEL Format

Hi All,
I have one question. Are You All Able to get the Output In EXCEL Format?? I am working on Oracle Apllication 11.5.10.2 and my XML builder is 5.0.1. Problem which i m facing is this...... Whenever i am submitting a concurrent program with format type different from PDF i could not able to view the ouput in desired format. When i am pressing view output it gives me a file in XML and when i save that file with extention 'xls' or 'rtf' then i could able to see the saved file in desired format.
Can anyone tell me where is the problem??? Is it a bug?
I am using microsoft world 2000 sp-3.
Please give your valuable comments. May be your comments can solve my problem..

Two Questions- Away Message font and Buddy Profile length

Good morning everyone!! Hope your not tooo cold on this beautiful sunny morning! Anyway, I have two questions to ask you smart people. Is there any way to change the font of the away message that you make? It just shows up in the regular black font. Along with this, I find it really annoying that I can never see my whole away message at once if i type a long one. I have to just press the right arrow button to be able to see the whole thing (not a question, more of a rant...but if you know a solution, feel free to let me know!) Last question, my buddy profile does not allow me to put anymore that like...4 lines in my profile. If I do, it gives my that message saying it is too long. Is there anyway to be able to put more into the profile? I can barely put a sentence inmy profile without it saying it is too long! Thanks guys. My problems are kinda....strange, but I'm high maitenance
