what is the differences between these two exams?
*1 - Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2EE Platform*
*2 - Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4*
as I see in my prometric history, I passed second exam but enrolled for first exam.
second question is:
in prometric website, it shows me that I enrolled for following:
Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform 1.3, Enterprise Edition
but not for :
Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5
why? do I have to pass the former in order to pass the SCBCD 5?

I am going back a few years I know, but can any subject matter expert coach me on two questions related to version 1.5 or 2.0?

Premiere 1.5/2 does not do captions but yes you can use the Titler to add subtitles or even Encore.
Yes you can import wave or record your own voice over.

Two Questions regarding the P965 Platinum Board

I've recently built a system using the P965 board. I've got a Watercooled E6300 Processor, eVGA 8800GTX Superclocked video card, 2GB of Corsair XM2 DDR2 800 Ram, 700w thermaltake PSU.
Question: Someone told me that this board doesn't like NVIDIA cards running in SLI. I've got one 8800GTX but hope to add a second one down the road. Is this actually an issue for this board? Is there a workaround of any kind?

Anyway. As I said before. SLI is not impossible. I am sure that there are or will be modded drivers for the 8800-cards that should allow you to operate two cards in SLI-mode. A friend of mine used modded drivers to run two 7800 cards in SLI-mode on the 975X Platinum PUE.
Just note, that on the 975X the two PCIe-x16-Slots work as x8/x8 in Crossfire-mode. Since the secondary PCIe-Slot on the 965 Platinum only supports x4 you would have considerably limited bandwith even with Crossfire.

Question regarding Sun Fire 280R

I am having a problem with a SunFire 280R Server. The server reboots at random times by itself. I have two other 280Rs that do not do this. We went ahead and upgraded the OS to Solaris 10 and still have the same problem. All that this currently on it is the OS.
Does anyone know where I can get firmware updates for this server or know of any commands that I could perform to research my problem?

Michael, if the system is caught in a crash loop you can't access the /var partition, the system just constantly reboots over and over. However, there will be console output if attached and there is a possibilty of sending a break signal to bring the system to obp. From there they can try to recover the system from a DVD image or install server. The patch can't be installed until they get a mountable root partition. I also suggest that they make a service call if the system is on support contract.

Two Questions regarding paypal balances.

First question I'm fairly new to using paypal however sometimes when I attempt to withdraw from my account it gives me an internal error and won't allow me to do it for sometimes several hours, what causes this? Two questions regarding shell scripts in automator

they are both concerning this script:
I pass it an .avi file (I believe it could also take more than one), and outputs a converted file (that is playable on appletv2) that is dumped in my "Converted" folder. This all works fine and dandy.
However, I would like to have it prompt the user for a destination folder, and pass that in as well. However, I do not know how I would refer to that variable separately.
Handbrake's CLI application also produces output that shows what percentage the conversion is at, and although the script passes this output as it's own output (to the next automator action - I actually discovered this only by accidentally leaving a "Speak Text" action in), I want to be able to see this output in real time. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks for the help!

I assume that "Ask For Finder Items" also passes it's input along to the next action? Would "Get Value of Variable" do the same thing? (I also use the same workflow to convert .mkv files and copy .srt files to the same destination folder, so I need to access the source files multiple times to filter out different files each time).
I would just test it myself, but I am not at my computer right now.
And this is kind of off topic, but since automator actions can be written in shell script, could this be easily made into one? How much work would it involve?

Two questions about my "new" used Macbook

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Macbook for my wife from craigslist. It is a early 2008 model (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/stats/macbook-core-2-duo-2.2-white -13-late-2007-santa-rosa-specs.html). I have two questions regarding its use.
1. I know a video adapter is available for these computers. Is there a cable that can connect the video out on the macbook to a TV that has only a RCA input?
2. I noticed (a little late) that the mouse button on the trackpad is a little chintzy. It takes quite a bit of effort to press the button and it appears to stick a little. I currently have the trackpad configured to accept clicks, however I would like to fix the button if possible. Has anyone had any success with changing the mouse button?

Thanks for the response. I went to the apple store and picked up the cable yesterday. It works perfectly. I cleaned the area around the trackpad button a little and it seems to have eased a little. I will try putting the piece of paper in there and see if it gets better.
I have a follow up question regarding the video out to a CRT TV. Does anyone know what resolution works best for this kind of low-tech TV? I tried 800X600 and 1024X768 last night and neither one seemed TV-like. Should I try a lower resolution? I am trying to stream hulu from my computer directly into my TV.

Some question regarding time evaluation

I have two questions regarding time evaluation:
1. Is it possible (if yes, how) to still include a employee in time evaluation even if this employee is inactive (status P0000-STAT2 = 0). We need this in order to calculate weeks of not working (this has to be calculated). I know that for payroll this is possible wih a setting in infotype 0003.
2. Is it possible (and how) to read data back from payroll into time. For example in payroll you export something to ZL table, can you then pick this up in time evaluation schema, as there is also ZL table. Or is there another way to do this?

Why you want to evaluate the time for inactive person.
If you want you can do.
Process :
First of all you have to group your employees. and sub groups.( for inactive emp)
Assign the employee sub group grouping for PCR in Basic Pay ( IMG ).
Then come to Time Evaluation Schema. Put the Day grouping nn nn nn nn in the Parameters. and run the time evaluation. You will get the output in DZL table.
For the above process you need to configure the T510S table.
Yes you can read the payroll into time.
the same concept will run in both of the modules.
the output should appear in the ZL table only.
Here the concept is.....Some companies, they will not use the payroll wage types. only they will use the time wage types.. these wage types has to be configure in the T510S. and we have to do the wage type copying from the part of time management only if they are not using the payroll. So either in Payroll or in Time management the evaluation of time willbe the same.

1) Is it possible to define jump by selecting more than one value of a fileld/variable ? My RRI is working with one value. But if I mark more than one value and goto jump, the new query just uses the first value from my selected list

In RSBBS when you are defining the RRI you can choose the variables which are common in the reports to pass values to the next query.
2) Is it possible to jump to a workbook ?
No jump to a workbook is not possible.

Question regarding buying phone from Amazonwireless

Hi, I have two questions regarding amazonwireless.
I have a nationwide 700 family plan and my phone is eligible for an upgrade now.
Amazonwireless has a good basic phone ( Samsung) that verizon don't have. If I buy it from Amazon and extend contract for 2 more years, does this work? Will I be moved to new share all plan or keep my old family plan? Or is there a catch?
My other question is the AmazonWireless Instant Discount Policy, if another line on my family plan upgrades to iphone in a few month ( when it's eligible for upgrade) and adds data plan ( we currently don't have any data plan), would this violate Amazon's policy since the contract is changed? I attached their policy below for reference.

Two questions re: X58 Eclipse SLI

Hi all -
two questions regarding my (admittedly older) X58 Eclipse SLI:
1.) When I built the system, I had two IDE DVD devices: one reader and one burner. I've since replaced the burner with a SATA burner but now I can't get Vista 64 to recognize the reader. I have the reader setup as 'Master' on the IDE bus and it does get identified when booting the system. Vista won't see it, though, even with the JMicron drivers installed.
2.) When I bought the board, I also bought an OCZ 1600 DDR3 kit (OCZ model# OCZ3P1600LV6GK). I FINALLY got the RAM stable at 1333MHz, but I've considered adding more RAM to the system. Am I likely to experience issues if all the RAM is not matched - especially considering I've had to customize the RAM voltage and timings?
any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated!

Possible, however I doubt that's the issue considering that the drive functioned normally prior to the removal of the 2nd (SLAVE) drive. Urgent question about two monitors for Sun Ultra 40 M2

I feel extremely unhappy to ask you the following.
I bought recently a Sun Utra 40 M2. I thought that with NVIDA Quadro FX1500 one could have two monitors as there are two DVI-D 's to connect with two monitors.
But today I heard from SUN support that Sun does not support two monitors under SUN Solaris 10. It is possible with Linux on this SUN Ultra 40, but not with Solaris, so it was told to me.
But: is this true? I still can not believe it.

I have a query with respect to the 70-243 SCCM 2012 Exam. I would like to know the below points.
1. What is the passing marks for this exam ?
2. How many questions are asked ?
3. What is the time duration for an individual to answer these questions ?
4. Does additional answers like in the below situation be considered as correct or wrong.
A Question has 2 answers. the Answer is A,B.
I check saying A,B & C are correct. Now as A & B are correct and i have marked c as well, will that be considered as correct answer or as a wrong answer ?
Has any one taken the exam recently who can answer my question ? And are the same followed in all the countries as i am from India so.

Microsoft does not release the number of questions in an exam. You should expect around 55 to 65 questions though
The exam duration is 2.5hrs

Questions regarding Disk I/O

Hey there, I have some questions regarding disk i/o and I'm fairly new to Java.
I've got an organized 500MB file and a table like structure (represented by an array) that tells me sections (bytes) within the file. With this I'm currently retrieving blocks of data using the following approach:

I would love to use this Class but BufferedReader doesn't have the function, "skipBytes(), which is vital to achieve what I'm trying to do. I'm also aware that I shouldn't really be using the readLine() function of the DataInputStream Class.
So could anyone suggest improvements to this code?

Okay I've got some results and turns out DataInputStream is faster...
EDIT: I was wrong. RandomAccessFile becomes a bit faster according to my test code when the block size to read is large.
So I guess I could write two routines in my program, RAF for when the block size is larger than an arbitary value and FileInputStream for small blocks.
Here is the code:

Question regarding homehub and Open reach router -...

Hi all,
I had infinity installed earlier this month and am happy with it so far. I do have a few questions regarding the service and hardware though.
I run both my BT openreach router and BT Home hub from the same power socket. The problem is, if I turn the plug on so both the Homehub and Openreach Router start up at the same time, the home hub will never get an Internet connection from the router. To solve this I have to turn the BT home hub on first and leave it for a minute, then start the router up and it all works fine. I'm just curious if this is the norm or do I have some faulty hardware?
Secondly, I appreciate the estimated speed BT quote isn't always accurate, I was quoted 49mbits down but received 38mbits down - Which I was happy with. Recently though it has dropped to 30. I am worried this might continue to drop over time. and as of present I am 20mbits down on the estimate . For the record 30mbits is actually fine and probably more than I would ever need. If I could boost it some how though I would be interested to hear from you.

Just a clarification: the two boxes are the HomeHub (router, black) and the modem (white). The HomeHub has its own power switch, the modem doesn't.
There is something wrong if the HomeHub needs to be turned on before the modem. As others have said, in general best to leave the modem on all the time. You should be able to connect them up in any order, or together. (For example, I recently tripped the mains cutout, and when I restored power the modem and HomeHub went on together and everything was ok).
Check if the router can connect/disconnect from the broadband using the web interface. Leaving the modem and HomeHub on all the time, go to http://192.168.1.254/ on a browser on a connected computer, and see whether the Connect/Disconnect button works.
