Two screens notification icon

Hello
When i start my device a big message or icon saying "POWER OFF" appears and i have to press the back or home button in order to go to the "enter pin code screen":
After this, when the home screen appears i always have a two blue screens notification icon on the top left of the screen:
If i tap on this icon this is what appears:
This icon never disappear and the only way that i have to quit this icon is forcing stop through this screen
Is this normal?, If this isn´t normal, how could i fix this?

Your using the flash tool to flash your phone i believe, for PC Companion and a end user phone. That should not appear.
I can accept failure.... I can't accept not trying - Michael Jordan

  • Email notification icon won't disappear

    Dear Nokia Team,
I use my 5800XM to read my emails on my Gogglemail-Account via Mail for Exchange.
I got the common problem, that the "new mail"-notification icon on the top-right corner of the screen won't disappear, although all emails ar marked as read and my mail-inbox doesn't count more then 100 mails.
This thread says, that the only way around this issue is to hard reset the phone. I did a hard reset on my phone an everything seemed to work just fine, but the issue returned after a few days.
This bug is really annoying - please help me!

  • Where have my speaker volume and internet connection notification icons gone?

This morning two 'notification icons' (at bottom right of screen) vanished: speaker volume, and internet connection. How do I restore them?
I have Firefox 6.0.2 running on Windows Vista

Great, thanks you two, much appreciate the help. They only say it will be restored ASAP. Has this happened before and how long did it take to fix? Also, I'm in the UK so I assume its a global issue?
    Thanks

  • Lock Screen notifications disappeared 10.2.1

I own a z10 and I updated the OS to 10.2.1 on 28 Jan and my phone had been working fine until 3 days ago. I was unable to locate my phone so used BlackBerry Protect to ring the loud alarm to locate the handset, once I found my handset I saw that all the lock screen notifications and camera icon on the lock screen had disappeared. The settings have them all turned On but they do not appear on the lock screen.
I have done device resets and battery resets but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Is there anyone out there who is experiencing the same issue or any workable solutions. Would love to hear from BlackBerry themselves, customer support have been useless unless I pay $49.

    Hello,
I've got mine working again.  I went back to the Blackberry Protect website and used it to display a message to my lock screen.  Once I did that, the lock screen notifications returned.  I turned off the password and it's still working.
    Hope this helps,
    Nat

  • Two hard drive icons on my desktop, would like to have only one...

Hello  everyone, I recently got a PowerMac G5 (I think it's a 2.3 GHz). It came with a hard drive inserted 'Untitled', which came from my old 1.6 GHz G5. On the desktop though, I get two hard drive icons, my main start up drive called 'Untitled', and another one called 'Spare'. I was told that my G5 has only one drive inserted 'Untitled', so I'm trying to either get rid of 'Spare', or merge it somehow into 'Untitled'. Under the Volumes folder, I was not really able to get rid of it, is this something to do with Disk Utility?
BDAqua - under Get Info, when I was on Leopard, I tried changing a User Permissions category called 'Everybody' from Read Only to Read and Write. Upon restart two days later, Leopard would not start up (loads of writing on the screen, with the Mac power button, asking me to restart). To cut a long story, I am now back on Tiger lol (Leopard issues for another discussion lol), so now I dare not play with anything which says Read Only, especially when it's probably not even necessary. I am writing this from the library, so don't know what exactly it says in Get Info - User Permissions for either drive at the moment. If this is relevant, I can have a look later and post back, I'll also verify permissions in Disk Utility for both drives, but I think they are fine. Actually, when I was on Leopard, my 'Untitled' drive took ages to verify permissions, and always loads of writing appeared! Now that I'm on Tiger, the other day when I verified Disk Permissions, it was quick and fine!
    Thank you
In the screen shots, 'Untitled' is model ST31, 'Spare' is model WDC

Hi BDAqua, sorry I should have just opened it in the first place! I don't know why that man told me there was only one hard drive inside, perhaps a misunderstanding.
It seems that there are actually two hard drives inside, one in A, and one in B (see photo)! So, if this is the case, I don't have a problem with the two hard drive icons.
I guess if a G5 shows two hard drives on the desktop, then there's two hard drives in the machine!
    Thanks for helping anyway.

  • When my z2 is locked unable to see notification icons

    Hi all
when my z2 is locked I am unable to see notification icons, like missed calls, messages and emails. Please help me

Hi Andy1374, welcome to the community!
If you can't remember your passcode then you can do one of the following:
Run a software repair on the handset (this will delete all user data)
or Log into my Xperia (if you have previously set it up) > Locate the device > Press Lock > Enter code > now a different unlock box should appear on your screen > enter the code.
    To run a software repair:
Download PC Companion or Bridge for Mac.
Running the software repair on PC Companion:
    1. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
    2. Phone Software Update.
    3. Start.
    4. Repair Phone
    5. Continue
    6. Accept data removal
    7. Next
    8. Wait for prepare
    9. Select Phone
    10. Follow the connection steps
Running the software repair on Bridge for Mac:
    1. Launch Bridge for MAC without the handset connected.
    2. On the Main Window select "Xperia > Repair Xperia
    Device".
    3. Ensure the phone is charged and select "Ok" in the
    following window.
    4. Select Continue on the following page.
    5. Wait until the initialising step is finished the
    continue as below.
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
    7. Follow the connection steps that appear, ensuring that
you are holding the relevant button down before during and
after the connection phase until the update/repair begins.

I have just bought a Passport phone. I have tried all settings but I can neither see any icons or notifications on locked screen. If I swipe from bottom of the screen to the middle, I can see the icons only but the moment I release my finger they leave the screen. Also my message for the lock screen does not app rear on the screen. Before this phone I was using Z30 and transferred all my data through BB link to this phone. All other features seem to be working. My software update is 10.3.0.908. Please HELP!!

Thanks for your reply. Already done that. Allow Power in ON. Lock Screen notifications is ON. Lock screen message is also written. This was done before I mentioned my problem. Still no lock screen notification. When I switch my BB ON from power button I directly go to emails. Lock screen does not appear. I have to swipe to get the screen but no notifications.
Ok, the way you explained that, you do not have a password set on the device.
With no security password set, when powering on, it will go to the main screen... not a lock screen.
At Settings > Security > Password, set a password.

  • How do i hide a voicemail notification icon?

I also mean to remove the notification icon. Oh man, I am losing my patience because I am HEARING IMPAIRED (DEAF!) and I don't know why I receive voicemail messages!

There are two ways to turn of the voice mail notification. The first way is to have someone assist you with turning it off by calling your voice mail via *86 on your phone, pressing option #4 for "Personal Options", and the option #1 for "Notification On/Off".
The second way is via customer service. By having some one assist you with contacting customer service at 1-800-922-0204 or *86 from the phone, we can remove the your voice mail feature from the system so that you phone can no longer receive voice mail messages.

If you already done a battery pull then Open your Main Message box > Press the menu Key > View Folder > You have to check each Inbox for any unread message, Also Check any Saved Messages.
Also If already rebooted , then try the same again but remove your SIM card also this time and wait for atleast one or two min. before inserting the battery back on your device.

  • BBM Group Notification Icon

Hi, I'm using BBM 5.0.1.38 on my 9700. Since then, my BB Group notification icon for every group always display the same icon instead of specific icon that I set it to each of group. Is there a workaround to fix this? Cheers and thanks.

That is how it works. I hear they might bring back the deature in the future.
Only fix is to use an older version of BBM that shows diff icons or keep the group icon on home screen close so you know which one it is.

  • Why is Messages screen sharing icon grayed out?

Trying to do remote screen sharing with my mom's Mac using the new feature in Yosemite.
If you're not familiar with it, the new method does not require AIM, Jabber, etc and is independent of screen sharing settings in System Preferences (per Messages Help).
    The procedure is:
In the main Messages window, select the name of the person you want to share with or, if you haven't previously exchanged messages, do so now.
Click 'details' on the right of the top bar of the main window.
In the menu that pops up, there are three icons: screen sharing, video chat, and audio chat/phone call. Click the screen sharing icon and send a request.
Today, my mom signed into her Messages account and we successfully exchanged iMessage messages (not SMS).
When I clicked 'details' the screen sharing and phone call icons were grayed out (or, more accurately, 'blued out' - they were a fainter shade of blue).
I clicked another name in the Conversations list and then clicked back to my mom's name. When I clicked 'details' this time, the screen sharing icon was no longer grayed out, so I sent a request to share her screen. She didn't receive the request, so I canceled it.
When I clicked on 'Details' again, the screen sharing icon was grayed out again. As far as I know, nothing had changed on my mom's end.
What could cause the screen sharing icon to be grayed out? And what could cause it to toggle back and forth between grayed out and normal?
Both computers are running the latest version of Yosemite, 10.10.3. Mine is a 2009 Mac Pro 8-core with 16 GB RAM, hers is a MacBook Pro from around 2012 or 2013.
    Thanks!
    Bob

    Hi,
(He did say that he'd heard that due to changes in Google's system that their accounts no longer work with Messages.)
What he has heard and what are true are two different things
    Logged in Google account
There are issues with Messages using SSL to login to the Google Talk server and Google saying SSL is Less Secure (there is a  setting to Enable Less Secure apps like Mail that also uses SSL and Messages).
Some people find that 2 step Verification cannot be set at Google's Account settings if your want to use the Less Secure Apps setting.
    1. I deleted my AIM account from Messages and had my mom do the same. The result is that we each only have two items in the Accounts window of Messages: an iMessage account (signed in with our Apple IDs) and a Bonjour account.
    2. Clicking on the Details menu, the screen sharing icon was available for both of us. It was not grayed out.
This is using two different Methods of Screen Sharing in Messages (It is silly it has two but there we go)
For AIM use the Buddy List and the icons at the bottom or highlight the Buddy and use the Buddies Menu
DO NOT USE the Details option.
For iMessages start text chat then use the Detail Option an NOT THE BUDDIES Menu.
For the iMessages Method you have to Enable System Preferences > Sharing > Screen Sharing to allow the App to be Invoked.
(It is like FaceTime is invoked but only works to Macs)
As you mention the Connection Doctor only refers to the older "iChat Method for Aim and Jabber and Bonjour - if you can Video you should be able to Screen Share with that method.
