I unplugged everything thing externally from computer even monitor all usb ports etc... now what do I do any suggestions.
My computer will not display but does stay powered up.?

Just to share GREAT Experience with Lenovo Service with T61p one long two short beeps

Two weeks ago my laptop just suddenly died for no reason. It was in sleep mode and never woke up. I have researched some forums and found that the best thing to do is try to call the number of Lenovo service. I cannot remember it right now, but please check another thread t61p and one long two short beeps. The laptop was out of warranty and according to lenovo site it was 31. July was the last day for replacement claims, however nobody asked a question regarding warranty or replacement. Lenovo sent the box promptly and whole turnaround was in 3 days.
I was really surprised with efficiency and service.
So, if you are in the same situation please give it a try.

I have used support service a few times and they have always been professional and helpful the support center in Ga. I called last night for my wireless card its on the way to me now I've never had any problems

On booting I get - randomly - artifacts OR blank screen OR one long+two short beeps OR booting normally.

Hello! This is the first time I've had a major Problem with my notebook, I hope somebody can help me.
My MacBook Pro with Snowleopard operating system, processor 2.4 GHZ Intel Core I5, apple original RAM 4GB 1067MHz DDR3 is a little bit more than 2 years old.
It started this week as my computer didn´t react to any Keyboard command and the mouse cursor was standing still. So I turn it off and soon on, then it started beeping 3 times and the screen was black. I turn it off, took the ram out and inserted it again, I clean the fans it was very dusty inside.
The next time my Mac was running as usual for about 10 minutes, suddenly the screen faded into grey, I could still see the whole background. There was a message from my computer that I had to turn the computer off with the power Button. Then the same happend again.
And today I turn it on but didn´t check on it for a while, it went into Stand by mode and I couldn´t wake it up, so I had to turn it off again.
As I turn the computer on I press cmd+v and made a screenshot of information that might contain my problem. I don´t understand what is telling me, maybe someone had the same problem and could solve it.

Imac beeps 2 times then 3 times over and over again

Turn on Imac and it beeps twice. Screen is white. Then it beeps 3 times over and over again until I turn it off.

You can run the Apple Hardware test (on your install disk #2) - run the extended test at least twice; also you can take out one of the RAM modules and test, then test the other one.
You can purchase new RAM - best place is one of the two most recommended vendors OWC (macsales.com) or Crucial.

My hp c4680 inadvertently beeps several times in sequence and goes to a Support screen.

I have a HP c4600 running on Windows 7 64-bit.
When I turn on the printer, it beeps several times and the screen goes blank, then eventually settles into its normal on mode.
It has started inadvertently beeping and going offline, toggling through some system screens, usually settling on a Support screen. It usually stays there for a few minutes and then goes back to normal ready mode.
When printing, it often aborts printing-randomly- in the print sequence. It may be on the first page, it may be on another page.
It will not color copy from the button on the printer-it says it is copying, but it just does not do anything.
When scanning, the scanning window on the computer says that another program has control over the device, but I have rebooted and not opened anything and it still shows this.
I'm looking for a solution or adivce to send the thing to the morgue.

Reset the PRAM
Reinstall the operating system from the dvd (you will not loose your data)

My G4 beeps 3 times then fails to start up

when I start my powerbook up. It beeps 3 times the front lights flash then it stops. Is this a warning of some sort? In any case I cannot start the machine and am becoming worried that I've lost all my work and docs.

Tecra A7 2400 One Long Two Short beeps after failed bios flash

I was installing the toshiba updates when I accidently clicked on the bios .zip file. To my horror the bios started to install itself then froze up the computer. I've been unable to access the bios and I just get a black screen everything seems to power up but no bios start screen. I've tried taking the cmos battery out but it will not reset. Is my motherboard screwed?

BIOS chip is screwed and you must contact service partner in your country. Please explain them the situation and they will give you more info about repair.
By the way: your unit must be brand new and why did you make update? Did you notice some problem?

Two airport express no longer show w time capsule in utility

did the latest update interfere with our two airport express. i did the Mac update install and neither of the airport express show in the configuration. we also had a power outage yesterday for about 5 hours. not sure which is the culprit but after doing the install and rebooting the entire system we still have no airport express devices showing anymore under the time capsule and their lights are solid yellow.

Factory reset them.. they have stopped boot.. (solid yellow) .. it must flash yellow or when setup correctly go to green.
And yes, Yosemite has the worst airport utility and network on any new OS ever released.. ever.. I mean Vista badness.

you say you swapped the memory, does the system have two sticks, if so try just one on its own. if you only have one stick in it, then try some memory out of another machine. do you have an AGP card you could try? maybe some nasty dust is settled inside AGP slot, try blowing out with air duster

I hear 1 long beep and 2 short beeps and I get no video.

I have a MSI mainboard AMD socket 970A-G46. When I turn on my PC, one long beep and two short beeps will occur. Second, I will not see any video. What is the cause of this and and do I get to the BIOS menu on this mainboard?
Also, sometimes the my PC will go to sleep mode on its own and when I press the button to get it out of sleep mode, it will not go out of sleep mode. What is the cause of this and how can it be solved?

K7T Turbo Ver. 3 Long-Short-Short Beeps

I am trying to put together a computer for friends for a christmas present. I have hooked everything up and now I get three beeps when I start the computer: LONG, SHORT, SHORT. What does it mean? How do I solve it? The motherboard is an MSI K7T Turbo Version 3.

I just want to know what the beeps mean. Obviously it's an error message. The monitor won't even power on and I"m guessing that the rest of the computer doesn't start up either.
IT doesn't matter what the graphics card is because I"ve tried more than one.
The CPU is a CPU that worked for well over a year with the motherboard. The hard drive doesn't matter because it made the beeps regardless of whether or not the hard drive is plugged in. The RAM is 128mb 133mhz and it was what was in the motherboard before when it all worked.

R7850 PE 2GD5/OC causes 1-long-2-short beep code on 990FXA-GD80 on some startups

Sometimes (usually after the desktop is shut off for a while), my GD80 board will do the 1-long-2-short beep code, and then continue booting, but the monitor display isn't activated.
Shutting down and turning it right back on however has no beep codes, and the display turns on as-expected. Turning the system off and unplugging the power for a bit, then plugging it back in also doesn't result in beep codes and the display works.
So basically, there's some GPU-related issue that seems to only affect a cold start, but not entirely sure what. According to this, the beep code is a "Monitor or display card error".
The GPU itself seems to work fine with a stress test under Linux.

I RMA'd the card already, so I just hope a replacement fixes the issue.
I'm not too certain how frequently it occurs or the exact ways to reproduce it, but the issue seems to only occur on a cold start. So if I shut my computer down, sleep for some hours, and come back to turn it on, the issue occurs (where the GPU doesn't seem to come on with POST, motherboard beeps, no display output).
It happened since the first time I started using the hardware (I haven't used the motherboard or GPU previously; was waiting on a CPU). The GPU was a RMA already from MSI.
Couldn't test the components in another system. However, I'm using an old Radeon HD 2400 PRO currently in this computer and it starts up fine from cold starts.
The GPU had some other weird issues with it (hard-locked the system when the screen suspended, and wouldn't work with a UEFI VBIOS), so I'm thinking it was just faulty. On the other hand though, once the computer was on and the GPU actually running, everything else was fine (stress testing and games were fine).

Lenovo H330 2 short beeps at power up, but everything runs normal

As descripted in the title, what does that "2 short beeps" code stand for? Even if the computer runs normally right now, should I worry about something is going to fail soon? Thanks for any response.

When you hear the two short beeps during POST, does it give you any error on the screen? (the boot-up process will usually be interrupted until you press a key (usually F1) to continue booting the OS).
If you don't get any error, try to:
1. Boot into the BIOS by repeatedly tapping F1 during boot-up
2. In the BIOS, press F9 to reset the factory defaults and press F10 to save and exit. (this will reload the hardware configuration of the desktop).
3. Inside Windows, check if all of the hardware parts are functionjing properly (i.e. USB ports, RAM capacity, etc.)
