Two tasks under one change request

hi all,
when two tasks will be created under one change request, when using same user id.
is there any harm having different tasks under one change request?
is it better to have different change request for different tasks...

Hi
There is no problem to use like taht.
you can create any number of tasks of diffrent users or same user under same Transport Request.
it won't create any problem also.
you need to transport those tasks with that Transport request.
individuval taska won't be transported.

Does one custom table more or less really matter? If you really want delete it, delete the table in DEV which will put it into a new transport and get that transport moved to TEST.

How to configurate system for two database under one server

I installed abd created A database by oracle 10GR4 in window 32 bit 2003.
it works.
Then i created other B database by DBCA under this server.
When I shutdown immediate database.
it works well. But I can not startup mount ot startup A database again,
I got below message as

Jim,
Before starting the database A, did you set ORACLE_SID=A from command line? You can run as many instances you want from single server provided you enough memory, processing power. Also try starting your instances usign window services and check and post some lines from alert.log for database A.

Two devices under one apple ID, how do I keep my privacy?

I have two devices under one apple ID, my sister's iPhone 4s and my own iPod touch 5. iMessages and FaceTime requests etc are being sent to both devices instead of the specific one it's meant to be sent to. For example, I am recieving the iPhone's iMessages on my iPod as well, when they are meant to be only sent to the iPhone. Also, will safari history and bookmarks/app downloads and passwords etc be shown on both devices as well?

Remember this construct:
One Apple ID per individual; one device per Apple ID. If you have two devices you should have an Apple ID for each unless you want both devices to draw from the same iTunes Library. This is your situation now.
If you open iTunes and select one device to configure, then go through the configuration options for Apps, Music, etc. and select what you want synched to that device. Repeat the process for your other device. This is the best you can do to keep each device's configuration different.

If your requirement is such that you need to maintain 35% and 15.% for book dep,and first rate 30% will be charge for 1st year

Use t.code AS02. Go to Depreciation Area. Double Click the Depreciation key which you want to change. Double Click on More intervals tab which you can see at the bottom of the screen. Click on Add Interval select the new depreciation key and give the date from which it is applicable.
If you change the existing depreciation key system calculates depreciation from the date the asset has been capitalised.
So there can be one rate under one depreciation key.

you can do this with no problems. i have several 4 ipads/iphones all using the same apple account with no issues. in itunes you can choose which apps go to each ipad/iphone - by default all apps go to each, but you can turn this off and choose what you want. a bonus of using the same account is that if you do want the same app, you only have to buy it once.

When calling your smartform FM, pass value 'X' for parameter user_settings as below.

I have two iPhones, under one email account.

Turn Apps and anything else you don't want automatically downloaded on each device when another device with the shared Apple ID makes a download from the iTunes Store.
Creating a new Apple ID for another iOS device that is currently sharing the same Apple ID will not remove the apps that were downloaded with the shared Apple ID.
All apps include DRM protection that is tied to the Apple ID that was used to download the apps. When there is an app update that was downloaded with the shared Apple ID, that Apple ID and password must be used to download the update.

We are using SOLMAN 4.0 and scm functionality.In the change request screen we have a create follow up task(+ icon on top left).What is the use of this task,can we asign a task to some particular person?for example can i assign task to tester?If the task has not completed the task,while closing the correction will it give error?

Multiple Ibase/components with one change request / interfacing Lotus Notes

Scenario: Our users post all their software change requests (not only for SAP) into an application based on Lotus Notes. Professionals of the IT department evaluate the requests and make a offer for each of the change requests. The users may (or may not) accept the offer and place an order - all this in Lotus Notes, and not only for SAP.
If that order is confirmed and points to the SAP environment, Lotus Notes automatically must involve Solution Manager by calling a rfc-enabled function module in the Solution Manager system. This function module has to create a Solution Manager Change Request (simulating CRMD_ORDER transaction) together with its maintenance cycle, task list and transport request.
Problem: One of the problems is, that Lotus Notes change requests for SAP environment often require changes to multiple logical components, like R/3 plus BW plus CRM.
Question: The question is, how to create a Solution Manager Change Request for multiple components? This is caused by the restriction of the input screen of CRMD_ORDER which allows only one Ibase/component assignment.
Do you already have worked on this or any idea that might help? I would appreciate very much if you would share your expertise. Thank you.

The work around that I use is in my maintenance project I have added all the logical components that I will have to work with.(R/3, ECC 6.0, BW etc..) This way, when I created the Maintenance cycle, my task list had all of these systems/clients in it.
The only hick is that in the CRMD_ORDER transaction, you only can put one ibase component.
The above mentioned solution works if you combine all your systems into one maintenance cycle.

If im not wrong, you need to change the display of SE11 to ALV from SE16.
To do this, goto SE11>display DPR_Project>goto databrowser>
now click on F8 or from menu select Setting> User parameter> then select
ALV Grid display or ALV list
then copy using CTRL+Y

Info-objects of an Info-provider under one Transport request

Hi All,
I am in the process of transporting the Objects from development to QA environment,
As a first step in the transport process, i need to transport the info-objects before transporting other info-providers, transformations etc,
i have several info-providers like BBP_PO, SC, SCA etc, which inturn has more than 100 info-objects that needs to be put under seperate transports.
Say i have info-provider ZBBP_SCA which has 50 info-objects, i need to put those 50 Info-objects in one transport request and then info-provider ZBBP_SCA in another transport request and then its transformations etc.
Can anyone tell me the steps of only collecting the necessary info-objects of ZBBP_SCA alone to be put under one transport.
I tried to do that, but it is collecting all the info-objects, info-areas related to ZBBP_SCA, instead of collecting only necessary objects of ZBBP_SCA.
I will assign points for sure

Hi pooja,
So your intention is not to include anything other than target in second request.
For this right click over the object from where you dont intend to transport and say donot transport any below in transport connection.
The reason for target also showing the info objects and so on is that they are all necessary to form this cube definition.
Anhyhow, as you have ensured to collect them seperately go ahead with the approach mentioned above.

How to revert back the changes of a task in a change request ?

Hello experts,
Our ABAP team made a script and they have locked a change request for it. Whatever changes made in that script are directly written in that change request through different tasks. Yesterday they opened the script and found that some of the data in that script is missing. The task entry shows that the data is still there which was missing, but I am not able to find out how to revert back those changes which are there in the task, so that the missing data can be brought back again in the script? Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem ?

Hi,
If modification assistant was on while making the deletion, then the comment should exist for data which was deleted.
Else use the version history to display and recover the lost version.
For eg SE38 -> Give report name -> Display. Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management
Should show all the TRs which changed the object and can compare/restore versions too.
