Two Things - Links and Text

So there are two things that drive me crazy when using Muse, both of which are a huge inconvenience to the site builder and the customer:
1 - All text is automatically turned into image when lived.
2 - You can't link text directly in a paragraph. You have to leave an empty space and then try to line up an individual menu link with the text.
I really hope the newer versions of MUSE fix this. Or is there a way to avoid these problems that I'm not aware of?

I posted this information on your idea as well, but I will address it here so others can see it.
Likely if the text is being turned into an image, you are using a non-websafe font. Muse does this to ensure that all users will see it the same, regardless of whether or not the user has that font installed. Using web-safe fonts (on the web-safe font list) allow you to export the item as text, which can be selected, copy/pasted, etc.
Likely, this issue stems from the first. Using a websafe font, you can select the text you want to turn into a link, and then in the control strip (just above the page) use the Hyperlink box to link the text to an URL or page you'd like.

You cannot control what appears in the share UI. The Share UI Will show all applications that have registered to receive the type of content you are sharing. So if a particular application is not appearing, then it is not registered as a Share
target for that content type.
I would run the sample on your phone for the various content types. it should give you a good idea of which apps are registered for which content type.

Two Questions: Link and call transaction

Hello,
    Im using tableView and tableviewcontrol to display the data and corresponding columns.
    How can I mark one column of table (let say VBELN) as link <a href....> so that user see there is event attached to column. Only one column should have link.
    Secondly, when user click on order, I need to call VA03 and display order. When users see order and and say Back, flow come back to BSP. Will call transaction VA03 in BSP event will work and how? Currently my URL is crashing on VA03.
    Im trying to do something like interactive report.
Please let me know.

It sounds like you will want to do a little research on two different topics. First for your tableView - read up on on tableView Iterators. There are weblogs and on-line help on the subject. This will allow you to easily control the rendering of individual cells of your table. You can then render an htmlb:link in the cell in question.
You can't just call VA03 from a BSP application, VA03 needs to run within the SAPGui. When I have had requirements like this, I like to use the ITS (integrated into the kernel as of Netweaver 04). The ITS has a service called webgui that will render an HTML version of any SAPGui transaction. You can pass initialization parameters to the start of the transaction (such as sales order number for the start of VA03). That way you can jump from your application right into the order you want to view.

Why I cannot copy/paste any web links and texts? With Internet Explorer its possible, but with Firefox not.

When someone sends me a link in MSN and I try to copy it to the adress bar, it wount happen. Same is with textes in Firefox.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".

You can find the connection setting here: Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy
Another possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that,.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

ESS EHP5 Menu links and texts getting duplicated / corrupted

We are implementing EHP5 ESS via the enterprise portal. To configure the Self Service menu's you use the transaction LPD_CUST but we are finding that when we modify a link text or the items long description - upon save the text is copied to items in that launchpad and it is often copied to many other items. There is really no consistency to it and we end up with lots of items with the same text in the menus.
Has anyone else had this? I am unable to find a SAP note on this and have raise an OSS but this is becoming critical to us.

the problem might be because it seems that you forgot to enter a
namespace if you create your launchpad.
If you use the package ie with Z* with the namespace 'Z'. So you must also
enter this namespace at the creation popup of the launchpad.
You can copy the launchpad to a different role or instance and delete
the original launchpad. You can enter $TMP as package.
After that copy the launchpad back. At the creation popup you need
to enter 'Z' as namespace. Now the transport should work.

I am trying to edit my sound generator, but the window to edit it goes under the dock and i cant edit the last two things, how do i fix that?

i am trying to edit the Negril Sweep for a slower build up so i can use it in making dubstep tracks. the window of the sound generator extends down below the dock and therefore i can't edit the last two things, sustain and release. how do i fix this?

JEditorPane - Links and Mailtos...

Hi everyone,
For a while now, I have been trying to figure out how to get hyperlinks working in a JEditorPane. I realize I could make it uneditable and all that, but I need two things above and beyond:
1) I need the link you clicked to open in your default web browser.
2) I need "mailto" links to open a new e-mail in your default e-mail client.
I have no idea where to find code for (1) and (2)... I have searched high and low and can't find anything useful, especially for (2).
I would be grateful for any help.

I do have mye links as a componet and it is easy to make any changes, but the links still add size to every page, which is what I don't want. I might have to redo my website using frames because I think this is the only way to have the links load once. (is this right?).
I was hoping to not have to redo my entire site ... as it will be a lot of work and I was hoping there would beanother option.

If you previously had iWork '09, those apps are still in your Applications folder in a folder named iWork '09. You can continue to use them to get things done.

ITunes Closes And I Can Directly Relate It To Two Things

I had the problem before with opening itunes but now have shut off all the start ups and everything. It will run fine but after a certain amount of time two startup programs called wiqwyc and xhwx pop up in my startups as files i wont to have on and then my itunes closes. I have searched by the command name and am not able to find these two things. If i can find a way to turn these things off and stay off my itunes would work fine. ANY HELP IS THANKED.

So, here is the problem.
My friend has created a flash navigation bar for me. Since I can not add links here, huhtea is the address with com.
Now, I would like to add text links and onPress (getURL) for images in my submenu.
I have tried all kinds of things. I have watched numerous youtube clips on this matter.
After adding onPress codes in Actionscript 1.0 & 2.0 and checking them, everything was fine. But if I publish it, the image does not go to the URL.
This goes for the text link as well. After highlighting the text and adding http address in the properties, everything is fine. But again, published file does not lead me to the URL.
Can someone please help me out?

If I look at the page code of the page you say to look at, I'd say your problem lies there, and possibly in the flash file as well. I see one url in that page that targets a local drive, which is not going to work...

So it is possible you have other such links in your Flash file. I am not able to find the swf's in that page code, and seeing as how it indicates something in the way of Yahoo Site Builder being used, there could be any number of problems in trying to go that route.
What does the getURL code look like in your Flash file? If you are using relative links, that might be related to the problem, especially if the Flash file is in a different folder than the web page.

Glossary and links in text boxes

I add textboxes and give them the appearance of pieces of paper. They support the main textflow with additional info. Links and glossary terms work fine but as soon as I give the boxes titles with the widget tool the links die. I need the boxes to be present in the margin when reading i portrait format (that's why I use the widgets tool), so it would be great if you could fix this issue. If not, please some one, tell me that there is a work around, an alternative way of acheiving the same result.

I thought you ment that I should group the hidden text with the textbox - it doesn't seem to be possible.
And It doesn't seem to be possible to place a bookmark in the free floating textbox either (for linking to).

How are attributes and texts for a master data linked and targeted to ...?

Our previous consultants used to load data to master data 0MATL_GROUP.
1. RSA1 -> InfoProvider -> Select 0MATL_GROUP or 0MATL_GROUP___T
Check these above two and find the records loaded are both 1,216 for Language EN.
We check the data flow of this master data (0MATL_GROUP or 0MATL_GROUP___T) and find there are four branches which target 0MATL_GROUP:
branch 1: 0MATL_GROUP is itself an InfoSource and the datasource is 0PROD_CATEG_R3_MAP_ATTR. However under this datasource, there is no any InfoPackage, i.e., the system doesn't load data to 0MATL_GROUP through this branch.
branch 2: Through InfoSource 0MATERIAL_ATTR. However the InfoPackage under this InfoSource target data load to 0MATERIAL but not 0MATL_GROUP, i.e., the system doesn't load data to 0MATL_GROUP through this branch.
branch 3: Through InfoSource ZMATL_GROUP_ATTR and it's corresponding datasource Z_MAT_GROUP_ATTR. InfoPackage monitor shows the data load record for this datasource is 490 (Run RSA3 on R3 for this datasource also gives the same record count).
branch 4: Through InfoSource 0MATL_GROUP_TEXT and it's corresponding datasource has the same name. InfoPackage monitor shows the data load record for this datasource is 1190 for Language EN (RSA3 on R3 for this datasource gives the same count for language EN).
2. InfoObj. 0MATL_GROUP
1). Master data tab (/BI0/PMATL_GROUP): 526
2). Text table (/BI0/TMATL_GROUP):
1657 (includes both EN and other lan-guages), for EN: 1190.
3. Check R3 Table T023T (Material Group Descrip-tions) for EN: 1190.
Our questions are:
1. The InfoProvider 0MATL_GROUP and 0MATL_GROUP___T
both have counts of 1,216 for Language EN. And for the four branches in the data flow, only 3rd and 4th branches feed data to it. 3rd branch (datasource Z_MAT_GROUP_ATTR) feed count is 490 and 4th branch (datasource 0MATL_GROUP_TEXT) feed count is 1190 for Language EN. We wonder how attribute and text data are corelated to each other and with it's master data. Obviously 1,216 is not equal to the sum of 1190 and 490, the how 1190 (text) and 490 (attribute) constitute the master data count 1,216?
2. Do we have to use 1st and 2nd branches to feed data to 0MATL_GROUP?
3. How InfoObj. 0MATL_GROUP Master data tab (/BI0/PMATL_GROUP) shows the count is 526? it should be 490 from the custom datasource Z_MAT_GROUP_ATTR, right? But why the count is different?
We would be appreciated any expert input!

can you check the data in Material Group charecterstic againest R/3. One moe thing check how these 4 branches Mapped to material Group?
Take the for Attributes it should be 490. it is 525. try to analyse what are the extra records comparing with Source. take the you found so and so meterial group extra then analyze from where is it getting extracted to BW i mean which DS.. (either branch 1 or brach 2 or branch 3 or 4). then check in R/3 side DS for the 4 branches. then you will know what exactly happening.
Analyze the data from step by step from r/3 to BW for each level. You will get clue.

how are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?
Most tables with attribute master data like T001 for company codes,
have a text master data table T001T (add "T" to table name).
When looking at the content of table T001 via transaction se11,
the text are automatically joined.
But for some tables there is no "T"-table (e.g. table TVBUR for sales offices
has no text table TVBURT), but in se11 you get texts. There is an address
link in TVBUR, but the Name1, etc. are empty.
a) Where are the text stored?
b) How does the system know of the link?

The master and text table are not linked by name, of course, if you see the text table, it has the same key fields of master table, only it has the field key spras and the field for description.
The link beetween the tables is done by foreign key: if you check the text table TVKBT u need to see how the foreign key for field VKBUR is done:
-> Foreing key with table TVBUR
-> Foreing key field type -> KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE
->Cardinality-> 1-:CN
It's very important the attribute sets for Foreing key field type, if it's KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE, it'll mean the table is a text table: i.e. that mean the master table is a check table for the text table, where the foreign key type is for text table.
U can find out the text table of master table by SE11: GoTo->Text Table
U can fined some information in table DD08L.
