Two TV connection

I have one tv connected via hdmi and another via coax. TVA are located one in the living room and the other in the kitchen. The tv by coax does not have a sound when I turn the other off. When I disconnected the hdmi, the other tv worked fine. How do I switch both video outputs on?
We just want to watch tv while I'm the kitchen. Please help.

Tom, I looked over your diagram and it doesn't seem to be analgous to the situation the OP describes.
To the OP: I have the same setup you describe. I feed one TV from my one STB using HDMI and others (a small TV and a computer tuner card) using the coax RF output of the STB (channel 4 in my case). (I also feed another TV using component cables, not your case.) All TVs receive video and audio even when the others (e.g. the one via HDMI) are off. So what you see isn't the way it can work. It all works fine for me.
The only thing I can think is that your TV is somehow shutting down the STB audio signal when you turn it off. Some TV's have the ability to control up-stream HDMI funtionality, and your may be doing this. (This is sometimes refered to on a Panasonic TV as "Viera Link" sttings, for example, and can be turned on or off. Other manufacturers use other terms for this generic HDMI function. For example, if enabled if I turn the something other input source connected via HDMI.)
If HDMI control is not the case, than something else is wrong. It could be something in the STB audio settings, but I don't see any obvious one that would cause what you're seeing, but I may have missed something. I would contact Verizon support directly (they're great via Twitter or the DSL Reports Verizon Direct forum by the way) for help.

You cannot transfer content between two accounts. The sooner you make the conversion, the better. Just pick the new one and start using it(buying music etc).

Two jdbc connections in one transaction

 In a method of a container managed ejb session bean I have two jdbc connections. I've expected, that they will be in the same transaction, so results of any actions performed with first connection will be visible for the second connection, but it is not. 
 I've checked, that there are two sessions at the database, so it seams that there are simply separate transactions. Is it a problem with a ejb-jar.xml (will paste it later), datasource (driver - Oracle Thin non-XA; 1PC selected) or such behaviour can not be achieved in WLS ?

Lion thinks I have two monitors connected

I have a MacPro 2008 with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT.
I have two monitors, a Phillips 27" and a Samsung 19"
I set up the system with the two monitors connected to the graphics card and everything was fine.
I have since disconnected the Samsung monitor completely from the graphics card. however Lion thinks it's still there/connected.
It's a real pain because it persists on displaying on the phantom screen and no matter what I do through System Prefs/Display I cannot get Lion to forget the monitor. Even if I gather the windows and place them one behind the other. If I click detect displays it thinks there are two there.
Looking through the forum/discussions, this appears to be a problem with Lion and not the graphics cards, as people have simpliar problems with different cards/systems and what they're outputting to.
Anybody have any suggestions?

I have tried that fix, and it does work.
However if I every time I connect a second monitor to the graphic card the same thing happens and I don't want to have to reset preferences every time I choose have a second monitor running.
I sometimes run the second graphic channel out to my 46" Sony TV for watching catch up TV services.

Trouble with two computers connecting to wireless on WRT54G

I am using a WRT54G router and I am unable to have two computers connected to the wireless at the same time. When one computer connects it will boot off the other computer and/or not allow it to connect. Both machines are macs and it switches between the both of them- it is not consistently one or the other who has the issue. Any ideas or suggestions?

You can try upgrading the router's firmware and then re-configure it...
Go to website linksysbycisco.com/downloads.........insert model no of your router in serach tab......select proper version of your router........download the firmware file......save that file on desktop

Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...

Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

The computer on a trip will do snapshot backups on the hard drive that will then be incorporated into the Time Machine backup once you get it back home. See

To turn them ON: sudo tmutil enablelocal

SAS MPIO Driver Server 2012 HCT Fails with "make sure two ports are connected" error even with two ports connect

We are running the Server 2012 HCT against a SAS MPIO driver for a server platform with dual redundant storage controllers. The test fails with this error:
(x) For non-iSCSI test environment, please make sure at least two HBA ports are connected to the storage target.

The system does have two ports connected so the cause of the error is unclear to us. We do not have any problems when running the 2008R2 HCT. Are there any known issues or fixed or workarounds for this problem?

Join Two Internet Connection

Hi Everybody and thanks for your time.
At home i have two internet connections, the first one is an airport extreme (802.11g), wich sends the signal to another airpot extreme also 802.11g, in a WDS network, the reason is that the 1st internet connection is in my neighbors house, (I share connection with him, and my desktop mac doesn't have airport card), i recently received as a gift from my telephone company a free year subscription to the internet, this one is in my house, with no wireless capabilities, (unless, and thats what im thinking of, buy an airport express), but i don't want to be switching between two diferent connections, i wanna know if i can join the both connections into the airport extreme in my house by using a new airport express.

Not sure what you are asking.
The AirPort Express (AX) can join your current wireless network as a client OR it could connect via Ethernet to your new internet connection. It can NOT connect to both networks at the same time.

Using the Mac with your iPad has nothing to do with the fact that the iPad is running slow. There could be any number of reasons why the iPad is now running slow.
Have you tried a reset on the iPad?
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
