Two work items are generating in approver inbox ?

Hi Experts,
iam working on PR Workflow. I used the user decision to the Approver for approving. when i relased in me54n. it will go to the approver. but every time two work items are generated in Approver inbox.
I used the Responsible agent and possible agent is the same user.
Please how can i control this ?

Hi Chinni,
I guess this could be happening because of any of the following reasons.
1) if you are using a custom workflow for PR release check the standard one is deactivated.
2) In SWEL check the event linkage for your BUS there could be 2 of them, Delete one of them.

LeaveRequest Work Items are not shows in SBWP TCODE workplace under outbox

I used work flow 12300111 for leave request process and I activated that work flow.
I applied leave through ESS from portal(Employee login)employee sends a leave request sends good,
and I got Leave request(work items) Managers in box(uwl in Manager Login in portal).
Manger Approve the leave request has been approved successfully.
can I check whether leave request is processed in R/3.
in tcode se38-RPTARQDBVIEW - UNDER leave request(Leave)->STATUS>COMPLETED,
But in r/3 i execute the Tcode SBWP...
here is no work items are not showing in outbox..

Could not open work Item having form with approve option

Hi all
I am using a form step in my work flow.
Display form is working well.
But when I use approve form, work item is reaching the correct inbox, but while opening the work item, it is showing the message as below instead of showing the form.
Form cannot be executed (parameters incorrect)
Message no. SWY_TASK_FORM029
I could not able to find out, why this message is coming. Also In my work flow no errors are there.
Can any one help me to solve this issue.

The below three elements are binded correctly,
&FORMPROGRAM&
&FORMDYNPRO&
&FORMCONTAINERELEMENT&
In display form below container element is also created, For this element I have binded manually.
&FORMWORKITEMID&. Whizard didnot created the biding for this element in Display Form
But in Approve form container element &FORMWORKITEMID& is not at all created while creating through whizard.
Does this is causing the Issue?

it wont be shown in outbox of SBWP
you need to check via SWIA or rptarqdbview or SWI5 for the user
these are java based tasks so will be done in UWL. you can see only the tasks but after approval they are disappeared.
The outbox shows the last 30 days by default. This default cannot be
changed. This 30 days selection period is always set when you enter
the outbox. However, the user can change the selection period by
clicking the button 'Change selection period' on top of the grid
control but this as you know will be reset once you log out.
This is how the mapping from the
backend workplace folders to the UWL tabs should work:
UWL tab                        Backend folder
Notifications                  Deadline Messages
Tasks-> Completed Tasks        Outbox -> Workitems executed by me
Tracking -> My Requests        Outbox -> Started Workflows
Tracking -> Forwarded          Outbox -> Forwarded workitems

Work Item redirected to different approver without substitution

Look in the workflow log (SWI1), it will tell you exactly what happened.

Hi Rajendra,
Usually in R/3 if you want to transfer the workitems to other user , you can just select the workitem and then click on "Forward" button. This will pop-up a box to enter the "User" ID of the other user to whome you want to transfer the Workitem. A Similar button is available in UWL as well.
So, in UWL when you click on the Workitem, it will should give you a button "Forward" and by clicking on that you should be able to transfer the workitem you the other user.

SD - Accounting document line items are generating for each item

Hi all of you,
We have done account determination for SD. Accounting documents are also generating, but with in the invoice accounting document, number of line items are generating for each item with in the sales order, standard invoice type is F2 like -
Item 001 - X Material
Item 002 - Y Material
Item 003 - Z Material
The accounting document is -
Line Item 001 - Customer Ac Dr
Line Item 002 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 003 - Sales revenue
Line Item 004 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 005 - Sales Revenue
Line Item 006 - Discount A/c Dr
Line Item 007 - Sales revenue
Line Item 008 - VAT
Even, in my experience I did not find this type of entry and the sales revenue and discount accounts are same with in the COA and is posted with in the plant.
Please give me your valuable suggestion to rectify the above issue.

Dear Ramki,
This is SAP Standard. System generates Accounting document line item for each Line items in Invoice.
This is standard & also required bacuase say you have different Material types in single Invoice (e.g.Material & Service items, Trading Goods, etc). The valuation class assigned to these Material Types may be different & you might want to post revenues from these Line items in different GL Accounts.

Requestor send an Leave through portal send it successfully......but i am facing a problem in uwl under work items are not showing in overview page...but in tracking work items are (Leave request)showing.....work items are not showing in uwl TASK(VERY PROBLEM)...
i am configured and also registered UWL IN PORTAL..it is good..
in sap ecc i can assigned UWL_SERVICE user to roles

Hi All,
In such cases, please try to check as below :
1) Create Leave request work item from Employee and check the same under the UWL Tracking tab of employee.
2) Log-in to swi5 transaction of the respective back end system and give "US" -> manager's UserID -> Choose Tasks to be completed from the drop down -> Remove any date if mentioned -> Execute.
3) Here if you can see the Leave request created, but not on the portal, it reflects some portal issue like sync.
4) If no leave request work item is seen here, then there is a problem in the employee manager mapping or the workflow setup.
5) In such cases, you can try to check the Swi1 and check the log of that workflow to understand the current status of the Leave request.
Revert if further help is needed with more info.

I have copied the standard leave request workflow and done the customization as per my requirement.
Agent assignment for all the tasks are General Tasks.
We are facing below error when we are trying to approve the leave request from MSS UWL.
"You are not a receiver of the work item.".
This started happening after implementing the note 1501377 which is for clearing the approved leave request
workitems from UWL .
i have gone through the threads related to this issue and tried given solution but no success .
Please let me know if anything else is missing since its happening after implementing the note.

Able to resolve the issue :-).
i was using Fork since my workflow is a two level process.
so the workflow was travelling to both branches one was in ready state another was in waiting state(48hours deadline)
having different agents.
i debugged the 1501377 note code when leave is approved it is looking at last workitem of the request which is waiting state workitem in my case and I was trying to approve the leave from user who is in ready state. then it throws the error.
So i have changed the design of workflow. i have done below things for two level process.
i will have requested end for approval task with outcome in that branch i kept second level approver. My questions
1) i am planning to do write below code to post the entries into infotypes after approval by managers. is it ok or any suggestions?

      EXPORTING
        im_request =
      RECEIVING
        ret_value = retrun
2) how to complete the WF if the 1st manager misses the deadline and WF goes to second manager?

The work item not coming in SAP inbox ....

Hi experts,
I am doing PR realese workflow.It is moved to quality server from development. In quality it is activated and showing no error.When a PR is created mail is send to approver and the workflow is waiting for his approval. But the work item is not available in his SAP inbox. Even he is getting the remainder mails.But the work item is not available in his business workplace(SBWP).I cross checked user ids of approvers. But still its not working ....the mails are sent to approvers external mail ID.....
Is there any configurations to make for making the SBWP active ?????
Pls anyone give me a solution for this problem...

Single work item in the Manager's inbox for weeks times

Hi all,
I am sure lot of people might have faced this issue.
Currently we are on EP 6 SP 20
R/3 4.7
MSS B.P 60.1
Scenario: Employee enters times in ESS through CATS. MAnagers ened to approve time
WF assigned to CATS: 20000460
Issue: Every time an employee saves his time ( CATS profile set to release times on save, a work item is triggered and the manager sees 5 work item for each mployee for the 5 days. Manager sees too many work items in his inbox. The employees have been advised to save times on a daily basis.
Possible solutions Define cats profile to release the times manually. In that case the employee will have to release the times every Friday. We doubt that employees might forget to release the times and hence we want to use release on save for CATS profile.
Question: IS it in any way possible to trigger only one work item for week rather than 5 work items even when having release on save opition selected for the CATS profile.

Work Items are not pulled from SRM into SAP Fiori

Hi Friends,
We are using Application controlled workflow in SAP SRM. As Fiori won't support application controlled workflow, I have followed the guide to configure the task as custom workflow in scenario definition. But its not pulling the work item from SRM in Fiori tile. My tile shows 0.
When I click on the same to go in, I am getting the below error.
A problem occurred while reading the data
Check the URL parameters and the scenario definition. To check the scenario definition, go to customizing for SAP NetWeaver Gateway and choose SAP NetWeaver -> Gateway Service Enablement -> Content -> Task Gateway Service -> Scenario Definition.

Work items are not visible under UWL in portal ?

We are upgrading from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0.
We have observed one issue here. Workitems are not visible in UWL in portal.
But workitems are available in SAP inbox. i.e SBWP.
Completed items we can see in UWL.
Could you please let me know any idea on this.
