TX and Wi-Fi. My TX doesn't have WPA protocol

Question

I've got a functioning wireless network at home (Linksys DIR-655), and several machines that successfuly connect. 
My router is using configures as follows:
Security mode:  WPA-Personal,
WPA Mode:  WPA Only
Cipher type:  TKIP & AES
802.11 Mode:  b/g/n
Channel:  6
Channel width:  20Mhz
Here's the problem:  My TX only has WEP and WPA-PSK, not WPA.  As I understand it, WPA-PSK is not the same as WPA.  
To answer the questions in the "Checklist"
1. Are you using an encryption scheme? WEP? Hex or ASCII? What bit depth, 64 or 128? WPA? Have you entered the exact case-sensitive key into your Palm? (Remember, 64-bit Hex on the router = 40-bit Hex on Palm, 128-bit on a router = 104 on Palm). If using "Passphrase", what is the ACTUAL KEY the passphrase generates? If a 10-digit code is produced, enter that into your Palm as a 40-bit Hex code. Also, try unchecking the "Use Four Keys" option.
--> Using WPA, hex.  I did enter the exact case-sensitive key. My router has the option of WEP, WPA-Personal, and WPE-Enterprise.  My TX asks for a "passphrase."  Is this the same as the hex key used by my router?  I did not enter a password/passphrase that was encrypted to form a key.  My key was automatically generated by my router.
2. Is your router an 802.11/g or /n model? Is it set it to either "mixed" mode or "/b AND /g"? (The Palm is an 802.11/b model). If the router is set to "/g Only" it won't work. Try changing the broadcast channel of your router to something other than Channel 6 (the default). There may be many other routers nearby all broadcasting on the same channel with the same SSID! (default).  If it is a newer "/n" router, try using the "/b and /g" mode if the "/b /g /n" mode causes problems.

3. Are you using MAC (Media Access Control) filtering in your router? If so, have you added the Palm's MAC? (On the TX, the MAC address is printed on the back of the unit). Are you running any kind of "Network Monitor" software that configures your router for you? Is there a "Lock Network" feature that is turned on?

4. Try entering the following address into your Web Browser on your Palm and see if a page opens: http://66.54.39.105 If it does open, then you need to enter the DNS (found inside your router labeled "Primary DNS and Secondary DNS" or DNS1, DNS2) numbers manually into your settings for the Wifi Connection you use.
(Wifi icon/Prefs/Setup/[highlight your router] /Edit /Configure /Details /Advanced/Change DNS server to manual and enter the numbers.)

5. Is the "Use Custom Proxy" option set in Blazer by mistake? Check in Blazer/Pull down menu/Options/Preferences/Set Proxy/ Uncheck "Use Custom Proxy".

6. Have you tried unchecking "Conserve Power" from the Palm's "Wifi/Prefs"? (Palm TX ONLY -This seems to be causing a conflict on some routers).
--> Conserve Power unchecked.
7. Can you connect to any other router/Wifi Hotspot with your Palm? (If you can, then the configuration between your problem router and the Palm is not correct).
--> Have not tried any other router/wifi hotspots
8. Try cycling power to your router, then try to go online. Also, check to see that Dates and Times all are close to the same in all devices - PC, router, and Palm.
--> Done.  No difference.
9. Check this posting at Brighthand.com entitled "How to choose and set up a wireless router with the TX": http://forum.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=98008
--> Done.  It talks about WEP and WPA-PSK, not WPA.
10. Are there other routers close by you that are all on the same channel?  (All named "linksys" and on channel 6?)  Try changing to a clear one, away from the others.
--> There are a couple other routers nearby, but I doubt this is the problem as my wireless laptops connect without a flaw.
Would appreciate any and all help!

Ok, now we're getting somewhere!!!! 
I have a Dlink DIR-625, close to the same software setup.  I see the same thing you do, and my TX's (I have two of them) both connect perfectly, as do the 5 other devices in my home network!  I don't have a Cipher option though.  This might be the difference.
Log into your router, then go to the SETUP tab up top, and then click "Wireless Settings" in the left column.
I'll list my setup:
Enable Wireless: check
Wireless Network Name:  (whatever your SSID is)
Wireless Channel: (I chose channel 2 to get away from the neighbors)
802.11 mode: Mixed /n, /g, /b     <----(this is a must!  You have to have a mode chosen with /b in it.)
Channel Width: Auto 20/40
Transmission Rate: Best
Visibility:  (your choice)
WIRELESS SECURITY MODE
WPA personal
WPA
WPA only
Group Key Update Interval: 3600
PRE SHARED KEY    (also known as "WPA-PSK", exactly what is on your TX!)
(Enter your own password/passphrase here)
Go back up the page a bit and click "Save".  Your router will most likely reboot itself, and you'll have to change the password on all your other devices if you use a new word as the PSK.
That should do it!  Everything works great here, the computers, TX's, Wii, IP Camera, all existing happily together in Harmony...
