TX won't unlock

I've apparently done somthing stupid that I can't get undone. I turned on the automatic keylock on my TX and now I can't unlock it. I've tried to hold the center button down like I'm supposed to but nothing happens. Now when I try to touch the screen all that will come up is the pull down menus. I've even tried a hard restart, but it won't let me even do that!
Any suggestions would be appreciated. This thing is just under a year old.

We've got to ask if you performed the Hard Reset correctly. Did you see "Erase All Data Y/N?" and then press UP on the 5-way pad?
To perform a Hard Reset: (Palm Knowledgebase article #887)
While pressing and holding the Power button down, tap and release the Reset button in back and continue to hold the Power button down. When the grey Palm logo appears, you can release the Power button.
You should now see the warning page in about 5 languages. Press the UP direction on the 5-way pad to complete the task. Your Palm will reset itself several times as it re-installs the original programs and erases all your previous data.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99. Likely not worth it for a your iPod. They do not fix yours.

Nokia 6300 won't unlock keyguard

Hello i got a nokia 6300 for christmas and i decided to try out the security keyguard. i used the default code 12345 and locked the keypad. my younger brother tried around 20 times to unlock the keypad and now the keypad won't unlock. how do i unlock my phone? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remove the battery for 30sec & put it back & check. If it fails your younger brother might accidentaly changed the default, then a trip to Nokia Care Center for reflash the only option.

Droid 1 won't unlock

Earlier today I dropped my phone, but nothing cracked or broke and it looks just fine. I've used it since then, too. But I just got a text and when I went to slid the bar over to unlock my phone, it won't slide. It starts to move and it vibrates, but it won't slide all the way and thus my phone stays locked. I've restarted it a few times, pulled the battery out and let it sit, and it still won't unlock.
Anybody have any solutions/advise? It's really bugging me just watching the notification light blink and I can't check it >:(

I know it can be upsetting to have content in your phone that you need to access, but cannot. Let's try to figure this out, and hope it didn't get internally damaged with the fall. Are you still unable to unlock your phone? Are you able to answer it if it rings, or place phone calls? Since you have already tried restarting and pulling the battery, the next best option is a Hard Reset. You may have to use the Alternate Method if you're still unable to use the keys on your phone.

I just started trying to use my intious 4 with CS3 photoshop and the layers won't unlock. A slashed circle apears when I try to double click BG layer to unlock or unlock it from the lock button at the bottom of the layers window. Any solutions?

I-pad won't unlock, doesn't respond to touch

Hi,
My ipad won't unlock. It doesn't seem to respond to touch at all. It was working fine last night but this morning i can't get passed the unlock screen. No touch seems to do anything.
Things I have already tried include:
restarting by pressing the top key and the home key
updating the software
Any other help would be greatly appreciated. This is very frustrating.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

2G won't unlock! Help!

I have an IPod Touch 2G and it worked fine up until yesterday. I went to use it today and it displayed the screen showing the USB cord and ITunes. I had to download the latest version of ITunes then restore the IPod to factory settings. Now, the screen won't unlock.
I have seen in other forum posts of users holding in the top button and the home button to restart the IPod. This doesn't work on mine, it just gets stuck on the screen displaying the Apple logo. Then, I have to plug it into my computer to get it to come back on.
I have had the IPod for 3 years or so now and I do not have a warrenty on it. I don't even know where my closest Apple store is! I just wondered what I can do to fix this thing!!! Also, does anyone know how much it will cost to get it fix if I do have to take it in with no warrenty?

Have you got an ipod nano because you probaly have the screen lock on. When it is connected to the computer can you get on to it?

IPad won't unlock (slide to unlock) in landscape

Hi... I've got a user whose iPad won't unlock when it is in the landscape position... but will unlock in the portrait position.
Initially, it wouldn't unlock in either. I had the user take off his screen protector and then it would unlock in portrait.
Any ideas, or is this an Applecare fix?

You could try cleaning the screen to remove any residue from the screen protector.

Regions won't unlock

I spotted an earlier discussion on this, but I'm encountering it: I can lock all my regions with no problems, but when I try to unlock them, some won't unlock no matter what I do. Anyone ever find a solution to this?

Ipod mini won't unlock or do anything!!!

OK, here is the deal, I couldn't get my ipod to unlock, the little lock icon stayed on and I couldn't do anything, so I thought that if I restored it to factory condition it would fix itself. Well it didn't! Now it won't turn on unless it's plugged into the computer and it won't unlock so I can't do anything with it. Is there anything I can do that I haven't done?? I have tried to restart it by holding down the select and menu button and it did nothing.

Everytime I lock my iPod it won't unlock.
The only time it will unlock if I reset it.

Thanks for the info....i've tried this serval times and it hasn't cured the problem..........it's like it reconises the touch but does do anything i.e no number appear...so it won't unlock.....thanks for your advice though......I think it needs Apple to look at it......
