Tx2 1020us touch screen out of control

My tx2 touch screen is acting like someone is randomly tapping the screen but no one is touching it. I tried uninstalling everything under "digitizers" in the Device Manager. When they were uninstalled, the computer worked fine as a nontouch screen device, but when I rebooted and let it reinstall the N-Trig_Digitizer driver--it didn't reinstall the two "digitizer" items that had been there--the ghost tapping started up again.
Anyone have any ideas on whether there's a driver/settings/software fix for this? I'm really disappointed (I really love this computer) because it looks like a hardware problem, and the maching is 3 months out of warranty. Is it hard to replace the screen, assuming I can get and afford a new one?
The computer is running Windows 7 64-bit with all the drivers downloaded from the HP download page for this device. I put in a solid state drive a month or two ago, reinstalled Win7 and all the drivers then. It was working spectacularly until a couple days ago when it started doing this.

As a work-around, you can go into Settings -> Display and then uncheck "Scroll title bar".

* Routine operation of the device , the screen goes into sleep mode at a time .
* Hard Drive is studying .
* But the screen shuts off completely which does not allow for inaction .
* Therefore, computer harddisk along with the device by pressing the release button 'm having to sleep mode .
* I wake again by pressing the release button .
* The screen is now out of control appropriate to the mode you have to repeat this process every time I'm staying.
I do the following
* System Preferences / Energy Saving / screen to sleep (never )

Sounds like you need to take it back to whomever serviced it 2 months ago and have them honor the warranty on there repair work.

Touch screen out of alignment

Since latest update on Galaxy S3 mini, touching the screen typically connects to a link about two places above place touched, or not at all if no link. (Same problem on wife's phone.) Makes browsing nearly impossible, as have to guess where to touch.

I attempted to get original settings through settings menu, but unfortunately while resuming when I typed a pass code the touch gesture , without control it typed unknown passcode and while confirming the passcode as well same thing happened.
Now my Iapd2 is disabled and itunes also not recognizing my ipad.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

Try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help, take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check out the screen to see if there is a hardware fault.

Iphone5 touch screen lost control and went crazy itself

I had my iphone5 for two weeks. The 2nd day after I had it I started to feel sometimes my touch screen commands were not very responsive. The 3rd day when I was using it with Safari, I totally lost control with the phone. Touch screen commands generated itself. The phone zoomed in automatically, keyboard poped out and started inputing itself with "," , "1", etc. I went to home screen, apps randomly launched itself and the pull down menu kept pulling itself half way. I had turned off and on the phone and the same things still happening. Ended up I restored my phone and it was ok initially. But everyday I felt the non-responsiveness getting more severe and eventually the phone started to go crazy from time to time for a brief moment. Today it completely lost control same as the first time it happened again. I restored it immdiately with itunes and on the initial configuration screen, I cannot even input the wifi password as it input itselfs with random numbers. I can certainly take it to apple store but it seems the problem is intermittant.
Anyone with iphone 5 have similar problem?

I had the same issue with my iPhone 4S. When I kept my finger on the touch screen to scroll, the content was jumping up and down. Sometimes I could hold my finger 3mm above the screen and it activated wildly buttons. In short the touch function has gone crazy. The Apple support could not help.
I suspected that it comes from an over sensitivity.
I put then a screen protection film on (which reduces the sensitivity) and the problem disappeared.

Probably not as user damage is not covered. Apple considers almost all screen breakage as user caused and thus is not covered by warranty. If you have Applecare+ you can get the device replaced much cheaper than the normal replacement cost. Apple would replace the device at your cost as Apple does not currently replace 5s screens.

Album overview
A photo album in iPhoto is just like one you would create with printed photos: It’s a collection of photos you select from your library and arrange in the order you want.
You can create photo albums to:
Focus on a particular subject, such as your favorite nature photos
Group pictures that you want to send to a friend, post on a webpage, or burn to a CD or DVD
Gather a decade of anniversary photos
iPhoto has two kinds of photo albums:
Standard photo albums: You create these albums (B, shown below) by selecting particular photos. You can add new photos by dragging them to the album (or using the Add To button), and you can remove photos at any time. All adding and removing is done manually; iPhoto doesn’t update standard albums automatically as you import new photos.
Smart Albums: iPhoto creates these albums for you, based on criteria your specify. iPhoto then updates Smart Albums (A, shown above) for you as your library changes. For example, you could create a Smart Album containing:
Photos of specific people, such as your family members. As you import new photos, iPhoto uses Faces to detect your family members, and automatically adds new photos of them to the Smart Album (after you’ve confirmed the matches in Faces).

We're sorry to hear that your phone isn't working. It's very important to have a functioning touchscreen! Let's explore your options OK? If the phone is taken to a store, troubleshooting can indeed be done. The store representative can even contact us while you're there. Do you have insurance on the device? Or, do you maybe have a prior vzw device that can be activated until the upgrade is available? You can also check your My Verizon account to see if your line( or another line on the account) is eligible for an upgrade. VZW always has options for you.

Help to pick-out a new windows 8 touch screen laptop

I Don't need to most expensive or the cheapest. I guess I want the most bang for my buck. I am not up-to-date on my PCs so I need your help. Just reply with your thoughts and ideas. I've always had Hp but it has been 3 years since I have bought a new laptop. I have a few android tablets but no new laptop. The main one I use now is a 64 bit windows 7 with 2.2GHz duel core 17" screen and 4gb ram. It still works just fine but I'm thinking about a faster PC and want the touch screen like my tablets. No resistive touch screens if they even make them anymore.

I would suggest because I am an asus fan myself, I have always used them as my go to manufacturer with my motherboards on any custom built PC i put together. They are a very reputable name, and are very well made. It should meet all your needs, has 750 GBs of hard drive space (gives you enough room for all the HD pictures and videos!) as well as plenty of ram and an i7 Processor. The ONLY thing i see that might be slightly better is a couple of the sony vaios have solid state drives, and that is a nice plus. Faster boot times, faster read/write speeds. But as you said you didn't want something to make you spend more if it was not a big difference and while it would be a difference, I don't see it being THAT big of a difference for yourself. If you can find a local best buy that has that Asus, I would suggest going in to check it out if its on display. Get a feel for it and see if you like the keyboard. That is a big MUST on buying a laptop, making sure you like the keyboard!

Scroll stuttering and loss of touch screen control

Since downloading IOS 8.1.3, my iPhone6 has begun doing some really crazy stuff when I am scrolling up or down with my finger. Its not 100% all of the time but when it happens, initially, the scrolling will begin to stutter away from my finger, followed by a complete loss of control over the touch screen. At that point, random buttons all over the screen will be getting clicked as if I was touching them, but I'm not.
This has been consistent across all apps and has only begun for me following iOS 8.1.3.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a solution? Thanks.

Same exact problem as you have on my iPhone 6, and same cause - 8.1.3. I am not even going to install 8.2 for fear of more, new bugs. Nothing on the list of bug fixes for 8.2 says anything about this shaky screen and things being clicked on their own problem.
Any luck with this issue being fixed with 8.2? Anyone still experiencing this with 8.2?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
