Type comes as boxes!

When I type in After Effects CS3, square boxes are appearing instead of actual letters. I tried changing various fonts, but I cannot change the boxes into letters!
I guess this might be a font problem but I cannot overcome it. Please help me. (I am using Windows XP & AE CS3)

I didn't search before, but "you are not alone" (the thread [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/747424 In Verizon's Sitebuilder for webpages, I can not edit text boxes when using Firefox. I do not have this problem if I use Internet Explorer. Is there a setting I can change in Firefox to correct this problem?] has 18 votes for "I have this problem, too).
I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else.

we implement ESS (ERP2004 with WebDynpros) in our testsystem, but we got an error and don´t know what to do...
System Landscape:
- mySAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP17
- Java Application Server (excluding from HR)
- mySAP ERP2004 HR-System
The Connections from the portal runs to the Java-App-Server, not direct to the HR-System (HR-System has no Java Installation and our Customer don´t want a installation, because it could be a bad performance)
We implement the Jco´s and fill out the usermapping. If we want to call the firstpage of the new ESS-Role we get this error.
Can anyone help us? Do we need some installations?

uhm... good question, long time ago...
Error should be in the JCO-Destinations, where you can choose a targetsystem for each Jco-Destination.
Since them we installed a java on the abap-system, so we have a doublestack.
In the Jco Destiantions must be the ABAP-System.
Application via SAPTicket and MetaData via fix User like DDIC.

I'm trying to configure java gemfire template to query data in spring application.
To create spring template I need to create client-region, to create client-region I need to create client-cache, to create client-cache I need to create pool.
One of the pool parameters is server-goup. I need gemfire template(s) to query several of them.
I didn't find pool to be configurable for several server goups, thus I've created two pools (with different server goups) two client caches two client regions and two templates and got an error.

How to 'Exit' OO ALV screen type 'Model Dialog Box' using 'X' on the top?

I have the below issue in my OO ALV screen type 'Model Dialog Box'...
The main screen is OO ALV and displays rows of data,
When select a line(row) and push any buttons
( u201CAdd Materialu201D, u201CAdd Binu201D, u201CModify Binu201D, u201CMove Materialu201D, u201CDisplay Batchesu201D)
the program will take you to next screen and it is a u201CModal dialog boxu201D type.
That screen has two buttons to exit ( u201CSAVEu201D and u201CCancelu201D ) on the bottom of the screen.
User would like to exit the screen using u201CXu201D on the top line right corner.
That u201CXu201D is not on for the u201CModal dialog boxu201D type screen.
How do I add event to close that screen using u201CXu201D?

JimHdk is correct. The 12 watt charger was included only with the iPad Air 1 and the iPad 4 (4th generation). The 10 watt charger comes with the iPad Air 2, likely because the battery is smaller & requires less wattage to charge.

I just upgrade from Flash Builder Burrito to 4.5. After importing my Burrito project into 4.5, I got like 30 errors saying the following:
The style 'backgroundColor' is only supported by type 'mx.containers.Box' with the theme(s) 'halo, spark'.
I have been using backgroundColor through the project to set colors ... Is there a new property name? Do I have to start using CSS?
The only option I had for theme was "Mobile Theme".
I would like to be able to use backgroundColor with out rewritting all that code. Is there a way?

I used to have the prerelease "burrito" which I coded all the background colors using the "backgroundColor" property. I just bought the release version from the store and after I unstalled it I started getting the compiler errors releated to "backgroundColor".

Here is the complete scenario..
I have copied a DC from another one and I am trying to compile the same.
Now I am getting an error :
"This compliation unit refers to the missing type com.sap.security.api.IUser(typically some required classfile is referencing a type outside the classpath).
Now to resolve this I have added com.sap.security.api.jar to my project but the error is still there.
Please suggest a solution to the problem.

If you added from the properties and Java buildpath it will not work for DCs.
You have to create a library project DC and it it in Used DCs.

"we implement an ESS Scenario, with One Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP17, a mySAP ECC 5.0 System with ERP2004 and a seperate server with a java stack, because our customer don´t want to install and use a java stack on their HR/ERP systems. They want to minimize the performance.
After some configurations, we get the startpage for ESS. If I click on a service like travel management it has no effect. If I click the second time, I got an error "500 Internal Server Error" with the message
The Web Dynpro Application 'XssMenu' has expired. Please restart the application either with the refresh button or click the following link XssMenu.
Same error comes, if I choose travel management in the second navigation level and click the service. And same message on every service.
Now I tried anotehr way. I call the ess startpage directly on the external java stack. And here´s no problem. All WebDynpro-Services works fine.
Did you know an answer or an hint for me?

Youtube won't let me type in comment box below video, and keeps affecting the video when I hit keys. why and how can I stop it from doing that?

It seems whenever I use YouTube with Firefox, the YouTube video will only ever let me interact with it unless I go full screen then hit escape. if i don't, I can't type in the text box below the video. even stranger, if I go to a new tab and try to enter something into, say, Google, I can still pause and un-pause the you tube video, even in the other tab, just by trying to type in a text box. Why is this happened, and how can I make it stop? it is starting to get very disruptive.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 14 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

Strange boxes instead of type in dialogue boxes...

I don't know what changed, but recently, when OS X asks me for my admin password, I get a regular dialogue box, but all the type is in some strange font. Instead of letters, everything is the same black outlined box with an "A" in it. It looks like the same problem I have with Chrome but I can't seem to find what's wrong. More than likely it's a font problem, but how do I fix it?

That didn't seem to do it after all and now there's another creep of this font problem acting up (I have an image from my dropbox):

The thing is that I haven't overwritten any system fonts, and I don't think that anything is conflicting, but I don't know how to tell.
I've purged all the font caches, reimported my fonts, done the safe boot -reboot, and even did applejack, but it just doesn't seem to go away.
Now that I think about it, this has happened in the past a few times, and I almost always wipe and reinstall the OS.
I just wish there was something that could take a look and tell me where there are problems like Norton used to so that I'm not using my billable hours trying to fix this.

Safari locks if I type in text box

My Safari on a 20" first gen imac 1.8 Ghz G5 with 10.4.9 locks everytime I type in a text box. Even the search box at the Apple web site. Any ideas.

good you tried it in a new user account
and even better it works in the new user account
now drag ~/library/safari to the desktop and restart mac make sure that safari is not open at the same time
and make sure you restart your mac
if things works fine(you will need to say good bye to your book marks if still the same issue put the safari folder back to original location)
assusming it does not work trash
~/library/preferences/com.apple.safari.plist also ~/library/cache
restart your mac
test to see if it works
still does not work drag the entire ~/library/preferences folder to the desktop
restart mac and test the preference folder will recreate itself
works fine(now is where the pain starts)
make sure you have not opened any application
<step 1>
you will need to drag a few items from the preferences folder on the desktop to the preferences folder that has been newly created in the ~/library folder
and then restart mac and test
repeat the process till the issue is reproducible now once the issue is reproduced you will need to pull out the last items that you put in the preferences folder
restart mac and then put them back one at a time, restart and test till issue is reproducible
the item that is reproducible will be going to the trash
and then repeat <step 1> till preferences folder on the desktop is empty

Digitally signing using Acrobat XI and Mac OS 10.9.2- won't let me type signature- the box appears but can't adjust font or any other aspect of text.

I just purchased Acrobat XI pro for Mac. I have OS 10.9.2 When I got to digitally sign, it only allows me to sign using certificate- which does not render a legible name- and is an apple authorization certificate. Or if I go to "type text" the only type showing in the box is Helvetica 12. I can't adjust that. then I put my name in and that's it. It does not look like a signature. I was hoping to insert an image
or at least have it look like a signature.
What can fix this?

When I click "place signature" I only have one option.
It asks me "How would you like to create your signature?
The only option available to me is "use a certificate- When I attempt to use another option there are some but they are not available to me."use an image" draw my signature, or type my signature
are not available.
For that reason I went to preferences to see what I could do to change the settings- and all I could do was manage the certificate signature- so that it looks better than it did.
As an aside- after doing that- the document went on and the person couldn't sign because it had an "open password" If you also know about that- that would be great.
This is the only reason I purchased the Adobe XI so I could draw my signature or type it and have it appear as a signature.

Type comes as boxes!
