Type Doesn''t Change Color
Hi, I select my black type and then from the "Color" I use the sliders to choose a color but the type remains black. Why doesn't the type change to the color I select.
It's probably something simple I am overlooking.

Scott, No I can see the stroke color is empty. I am selecting the fill color.
I select the box I want changed (using the "Direct Selection Tool") and then I click on color and use the sliders to change the color. But it doesn't change the color unless I change from RGB to CMYK or RGB to CMYK then the color wil change.
Is there a default color setting somewhere? I find I like to design using Web colors and then I will convert to CMYK for printing.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong.

Unfortunately you can't always do this, since some websites rely on a particular IE bug or weirdness, or use proprietary coding such as that horrid mess known as ActiveX. Sometimes though, the developer just throws in some generic code that checks for IE, even though they don't necessarily need it. In that case, you can enable Safari's Debug Menu and change the User Agent, which will make Safari look like another browser. To enable the debug menu, open a Terminal window and type the following line:

I recently did a "refresh" (?) on Firefox and my visited links are no longer changing color. I've gone to Options - Content - Fonts & Colors - Colors... and the Link Colors option looks okay but when I click on a link it doesn't change color to indicate that it's been visited.Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

Oracle form query mode does not change color to blue
Hi, I have created a custom form and using query mode in it. However on hitting F11, the record does not change to blue, instead it turns white. Can someone please guide me as to what I should be doing to get this right?
Thanks for your responses.The fact that it doesn't change color when you "Enter Query" mode tells me your Custom Form does not conform to Oracle Application Programming Standards. I recommend you visit the Oracle Applications Documentation web site, choose your EBS version and scroll down and look at the Oracle Applications User Interface Standards for Forms-Based Products and Oracle Applications Developer's Guide to ensure your Custom Form conforms to Oracle Standard.
Also, I suggest you always use the TEMPLATE.fmb (or if you can't find this form, use the APPSTAND.fmb) as the starting point of any Custom Form. This will ensure you have the minimum required objects and code in your form.

MBP Changes color settings after sleep
After my computer goes to sleep, it has recently been waking up with a different color setting. Where the yellows are very dull and the screen has a blue hue. When I go to System Pref > Displays it changes back to normal without me clicking anything. It is getting very annoying, anyone know why it is doing this?
My computer is connected to a 24" LED cinema display which doesn't change colors on its own. The laptop has also done this without being connected to cinema display.

It happens to me even without sleep; screensaver is enough.
I have my computer set to ask for a password after sleep/screensaver. Do you?

P.S. I just did a search of the forums - this is apparently a very common problem, dating back at least to Leopard. I haven't seen a definitive fix for it yet. -
Type and Group color doesn't change.
I'm having a problem with Adobe Illustrator CC 17.1.0 with colors, types and groups.
If I select a text or a group and try to change its color, the Fill color stays correct a the panel, but the text or the group maintains the old color, like the screenshot below.
The only way to change color its is selecting all text characters or all group's elements.Here they are.

Making type change color on rollover: Cant make it work
Incredibly, I can not figure out how to make hyperlinked text change color on rollover.
I thought it was a matter of assigning a new CSS rule, but I cant find the dialog box within which to specify a rollover color.
I cant believe how difficult and obtuse such a super simple and basic function is in Dreamweaver.

How to change colors in calendars in ios7
I find I can change colors on the Exchange account (gmail) but not the regular gmail account. I do not use iCloud for cals.
In exchange there is an info button (i with a circle around it), this is where colors can be chosen at will.
In gmail there is no way to make this choice.
A problem, since I have several daylong events in a dark color that are obscuring, viz masking, hour long appointments due to the color schemes that cannot apparently be changed.
is this true?

PS: I've read that exchange has been deprecated as an account type and that "Gmail" is the preferred option for google calendars, etc. Is that true? Will Gmail accounts push notifications the way Exchange did?Precisely the point.
Exchange (run through native Apple Cal.) gives these options.
Gmail (ditto) doesn't.
My understanding is that now the preference is to use Gmail over Exchange, which is no longer supported by google.
I've experienced problems syncing with Exchange but not with Gmail (some calendars do others don't sync in E.)—maybe for this reason, I don't know. I currently combine where needed and possible so that I have the color option, which to me is worth the slight inconvenience of running two different Gmail calendars at the same time.
It sounds like you don't use either just iCloud for syncing calendars, so I may open another thread to ask about this situation. thanks. -
Visited Google Links No Longer Change Color
On my preferred browser Safari 4.1.3, visited Google links no longer change color from blue to violet. Any fix other than upgrading OS and Safari browser?

At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process. -
Images Change Colors between monitors while the UI stays the same
Hey! Im having an issue where photoshop changes the colors when I move the window between my monitors, seen here: http://sta.sh/04y5s60vf3j This isnt due to the monitors themselves being different, it actually changes after a few seconds of moving it inbetween the monitors. The left one has been callibrated with a spyder 3 elite which I no longer have access to. I applied the file with windows color management instead of the spyder utility. The second one is new, and it is not callibrated by anything, but instead was done by hand with the built in brightness/contrast/custom RGB settings. Both of them are very close to eachother, enough so for my tastes. but when photoshop changes what the image looks like, it's causing problems. Interestingly enough, when I disable callibration for the monitor on the left, the image does not change colors between monitors, but instead always appears as it does on the right. but then they don't match up and the whole screen looked washed out because it's uncallibrated, so that doesnt do me any good. Another interesting thing to point out, is when this image is saved as a .JPG, and viewed with firefox the image appears exactly like the monitor on the LEFT (which is my main monitor) despite the left monitor being the one that is force changed. does anyone have any suggestions? It also appears that windows photoviewer is behaving the same way, though firefox does not. Meaning when I open an image in all 3 on the left monitor, they look the same, but when opened on the right monitor, windows photo viewer and photoshop both display the image as brighter and redder than firefox does. This is frustrating, because it seems photoshop is changing the image with my callibration on my left monitor to match what it looks like on the web, which it does. but it doesn't do this for the right monitor, or when the left is uncallibrated. Another issue I can see with this is even if the UI is the same shade of gray, the images are different between the monitors because of this change. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So I reread through all this, poked at some things on the internet, and I'm going to attempt to summarize what would be a good solution for all this (And it seems, it still won't be perfect, but to get myself into the best environment I can for not messing with images for an hour trying to make them look nice before I post them to the web. I painted something yesterday on the cintiq, popped it over to my laptop screen and it just looked washed out and terrible.)
1. Get a X-rite EODIS3 i1 Display Pro, Callibrate laptop and cintiq. I do have the money to drop on something like this, especially if it's a time saver.
Things I'm not sure about:
a. There was a ton of complaints about the software not working when I checked reviews, but also a ton that said everything was great. most of them were mac users though.
b. I'm not sure if problems would still be posed, even while calibrated, by me having a wide gamut monitor.
c. I'm a terrible excuse for a human being and I think the colors showing up brighter on the wide gamut screen is pretty (I should just make my images this bright on a normal screen and there won't be any issues. >.>)
2. Set Firefox to color manage (easy enough)
3. Change my photoshop working space to sRGB (since they'll have been calibrated at this point)
3. Accept the fact that most of the people who look at my work will be doing so on a monitor that is almost certainly uncalibrated, and I can't control what they will see on my screen, but I CAN control if the colors are -actually- what I want them to be on any properly calibrated device. which is probably the best way to go anyways.
4. Make paintings, have fun.
Now, you two have been going on about all sorts of interesting things in here, and it seems that calibration issue run much much deeper than I ever thought. Do either of you have recommendations for how I should tweak this list of things to do or other things I can/ should do? I'm not currently a working professional, but if I have anything to say about it, I will be within a few years (I'm going to school for illustration and studying concept design on my own time) so it'd be useful for me to get into good habits now.

I tried but when i am clicking a particular label, the color of all labels in the List is being changed. So can you please assist me in changing color of only the label that is selected and the color must disappear after completion of Upto completion of fireAcknowledgeEvent(ackEvent);im a bit confused with the post so hopefully this will help you, if not then let me know.
I think the problem is that in your renderer your saying
setBackground(header.getBackground());which is setting the backgound of the renderer rather than the selected item, please see an example below, I created a very simple program where it adds JLabels to a list and the renderer changes the colour of the selected item, please note the isSelected boolean.
Object "value" is the currentObject its rendering, obviously you may need to test if its a JLabel before casting it but for this example I kept it simple.

Condition Type Doesn't Appear in COMMPR01
Hello CRM Pricing Experts,
I have created a custom pricing procedure called Z00001. This pricing procedure has a custom condition type called ZPR0. This in turn is based on a custom access type ZPR0 (Access=5, Table=SAP00080,E=checked, requirement=0.......based on the product).
I have also maintained the pricing procedure with Distr Channel 10 (no division, no customer proc etc.) "Determination of Pricing Procedure".
The problem is that when I create a material using COMMPR01, the new condition type doesn't appear as a valid condition type on the Conditions tab's Item Area.
What could I be missing?

I followed the instructions you mentioned. It dawned on me that I can only have 1 entry for application CRM. This seemed like a big change so I decided not to change this and leave the CRM-> Condition Maintenance group setting as CRM->PRODUCTPRICES.
I do have one follow-up question:
Within the same screen (condition maintenance), what is the purpose of Product Category folder on the left pane. I see an entry there for CRM ->PRCAT_CRM. What does this mean? Do I have to add my item category here? Or is this something different?

Change color of future typed text in a pasted document?
How do I change color of future typed text in a copied document? Thanks. My son is doing online home schooling this year and has Study Sheets that he types in his answers. Currently, he highlights his typed text then chooses the color. Is it possible to auto-format this somehow? Thanks!
Pages relies a lot on Styles. Either you can create a paragraph style with a green text colour or just create a character style with a text colour. Here is an image from a document with several character styles in colour.
In the second image I have instead created a Paragraph style with green text colour. This is the only way you can get a template to remember a change of colour as the default is alway black. To create the styles you click on the small triangle to the left of None (for character style) or Body (paragraph style) and choose Redefine style from selection. Save as Template.
