Type of Scan File

I have deskjet 1510 all in one printer. In scan setting, i have selected the destination folder as local or on network. I have entered location as desktop but after scaning even though as pdf file,copy is saving as HTML doc, enable me to see or save. What is the problem? Pl help me.

Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit. With this information we can provide you with accurate information.

Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Also, are you able to make a copy without issue?

Identifying the scan file for the Laserjet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw on a MacBookPro

In order to scan to a file on my Laserjet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw, I need to register a file on my MacBookPro that the scan file can be sent. The Mac is using Mac OS 10.10 which is claimed to be supported by HP. But, I am unable to provide the registration information so that the scan file can be sent to the Mac. Can someone help me with this problem?

I see that you are having issues setting up the scan file. I would like to help you out today.
If you are trying to setup a scan to a network folder, please follow these steps:
Create a folder on the desktop.
Hold down the control button and click on the folder you just created and select Get Info.
Check Share folder.
Under Sharing & Permissions select Read & Write.
Close that window.
Go to the Apple, System Preferences, Sharing.
Check File Sharing, select the folder created, then select Read & Write.
Click on options.
Check Share files and folders using SMB.
Check Share files and folders using AFP.
Below check Account name.
Then click on Done.
On the same windows, with File Sharing highlighted, to the right of that under File Sharing: ON, write down the
IP address.
Then close that window.
Open the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Click on the Scan tab.
Click on Network Folder Setup.
Delete any old entries.
Then click on New.
Display Name: Type in any display name.
Network Path: \\computer's IP\folder name
Example: \\192.168.22.104\scan
Username:Computers User name.
Password: Computers Password.
Then click on Save and Test at the bottom right corner.
Please let me know the results.

CONVERT SCANNED FILE TO PDF AND SEND TO EMAIL!

I got many files that were scanned in (110) to be exact. I need to know how to convert the scanned files to pdf and then send them to an email. Thanks Marie

Unable to import scanned files in Organizer mode

When I scan a new photo (default destination is c:\\My Documents\My Pictures) the photo is scanned, but I get message: "Nothing was
imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types or the files are already in this catalog."
This happens with new photos being scanned for the first time. I have tried several different destination folders. The scan is not placed
in my Organizer and the files are not in my catalog. This did not happen when I first installed PE7, but it has occurred every
time in the last few days. Can import scan in Editor mode, but not in Organizer mode. Tried renaming preferences files as recommended by Adobe support, then uninstalled and reinstalled program. Did not work. Tried editing the registry but could not find values indicated by Adobe support. Would appreciate any ideas on this. Thanx.

I have an Epson 3490 and I was able to scan in Editor mode. However, I think I may have solved the problem. I had Paint Shop Pro installed on my computer and it may have caused a problem - perhaps the scans were being sent to that program. I uninstalled Paint Shop Pro yesterday and was able to scan directly into the PE7 Organizer. I am still testing this and if it continues to work properly, then I have to assume PSP was a conflict and I have fixed it. Will update forum after I have a chance to do further scanning. Thanks.

How do you save a jepeg scanned file to email it?

I scanned a document and the mac saved it as a jpeg file in photosmart utility (colorsync utility?). I could not email it as an attachment, and I could not save it as a different type of file. I could not copy the file to paste it as a word document. How do you save a jpeg scanned file to email it?

I scanned the document on an hp injet printer and it was all automatically done by the laptop. I didn't use image capture, that I know of. I don't know what that is, or how to utilize it to scan the pages. I scanned about 10 pages and they went into a folder called scanner output. I was able to attach that to the email, but then the email could not be sent. The email tries to send it, then after about 7-8 minutes I get a message that says:
"Sending the message content to the server failed.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be delivered."

Scanned files from Photosmart 6520 screen missing

I decided to try scanning a single page from my scanner instead of using the program on the Mac. The printer screen claims it scanned successfully but I have no idea where to. The printer stated to check the monitor, but nothing opened up after the scan. Any clues? I can't figure out how to set where files scanned would be sent to.

Welcome to the forums!
I read your post about not being able to find your scanned image on your Mac, so I decided to play around on a Mac here that is running 10.10, and I would suggest that you try these steps to see if this helps you.
Click on the "Finder" icon at the bottom of your desktop, or click on your desktop.
Click on Help, and in the search bar, type in "scanned images" and you should see an option pop up saying "Recent Folders - Scanned Images".
Click on the Recent Folders option and look for your scan in there.

Saving cluster of different data types to a file

Hi,
I use LV 8.6 SDK. I need to save clusters of different data types to a file on a disk, row by row.
To be specific: I have a program that performs various investigations on a signal collected by DAQmx. Each time the quality of the signal is not in a specified boundaries, i get an indication. It is a cluster of time stamp, string, dbl, and Boolean. The program is supposed to run for few weeks in a row so there can be a lot of these indications. I expect to have around 200 000 rows a week (Altogether, divided into several groups).
I thought about TDMS but I am not able to save such a cluster. And I would like to save it as tdms cause i could divide the data to different groups. I also thought about data base but that would be the first time i use db and I really do not have time to learn that now.
I know it is possible to change some of the data types to others, ex Boolean to 0-1, but i need a string and a time stamp there.
Can someone advise me which data format should I use? Which one is the best one in this situation?

If you do not need to access data from another application (other than Labview) you can just save it as a binary file.
It is the best choice (for me).
I made an example with one cluster. You can replace that with an array of clusters, of that data type.

How to determine the MIME types of the files?

I'm making an application, in which I've to upload the files to the database. Now I want to insert into the database the MIME type of the files. Now how can I know that which type of the file is having which MIME type?
where can I get the list of all supported MIME types?
Even if I get the list, then every time I update the file in the database, so every time I have to check the file extension and then insert the MIME type...
this seems to be a tedioius job..
Is there any simple way to do this?

How to set Mime Type for Static Files

Hi All,
I am working on Apex 3.2.1.00.10.
When I am trying to upload (create) a ".js" file into Static Files under Shared Components of an application; it is saving as "*text/plain*" for Mime Type. But I need Mime type to be set as "*application/x-javascript*".
Please help me to change the Mime type of .js file.
Or is there any way to upload the file directly as "*application/x-javascript*" as its Mime Type.

In IIS v4 which comes with the Windows NT4 option pack, you right click the web page you are working with, select properties, then go to the HTTP Headers tab. At the bottom there's a button labelled File Types in the MIME Map section.
After you've clicked that, you can add the two mime types you need;
Associated Extension MIME Type
.jar application/x-java-jar-file
.jnlp application/x-java-jnlp-file
I'm assuming that it is the same in W2k/IIS5.

'Save Scanned File As' dialog box causing problems

A lot of our users just upgraded to Adobe Std 8 from Adobe Std 7. With Adobe Std 8, the 'Save Scanned File As' dialog box comes up even before the document gets scanned (this was not the case with Adobe Std 7). How do you get rid of the dialog box? This is causing us a lot of problems because our Adobe is integrated with a document management program called DM5. With Adobe Standard 8 our users cannot save directly to DM5.Because the
#Save Scanned File As# dialog box comes up first, now they have to tell Adobe to save it first somewhere other than DM, after the document
gets scanned they save the document again to DM then they go back and delete the document that they saved in the other location. Is there a registry setting or anything that I can set to get rid of the 'Save Scanned File As' box. If you hit CANCEL, the document does not get scanned so users really do not have a choice but to save the document twice. As I said earlier, this was not the case with Adobe Std 7.

I am using weblogic7.0 to deploy my applications. I wrote a web service and
was able to deploy it sucessfully. I am trying to access the web service through
a jsp page. I am the error posted below on my server and " error:505 internal
server error" on the browser. Can any one please help me out with the problem.
My jsp page just displays the float value i am returing from the session bean
method.

I am using BEA weblogic 7.0 to deploy my applications. I have a web service and was able to deploy it sucessfully. I am trying to access this web service from another web service previously succesfully deployed too. When I call the second one, I have the next problem:

I put the client jar file (2nd web service) obtained from the <clientgen> in the class path of the ear file (1st web service), but I have the same error.
Can anybody help me?,

I am using BEA weblogic 7.0 to deploy my applications. I have a web service and was able to deploy it sucessfully. I am trying to access this web service from another web service previously succesfully deployed too. When I call the second one, I have the next problem:
java.io.IOException: unable to find the type mapping resource file for:tuoprec.sinsesion.TuOPRecService
at weblogic.webservice.core.encoding.DefaultRegistry.<init>(DefaultRegistry.java:62)
at weblogic.webservice.core.rpc.ServiceImpl.<init>(ServiceImpl.java:72)
at tuoprec.sinsesion.TuOPRecService_Impl.<init>(TuOPRecService_Impl.java
