Typekit won't activate fonts, it says I have to upgrade my account

I have a creative cloud portfolio account, but I cannot access typekit, it say that I have to upgrade the accoubt

Hi Nick,
Typekit gets the plan information from your Adobe ID, and you are currently listed as having a Trial plan.  So it does not look like your Creative Cloud subscription includes the Typekit Portfolio plan.
In order to sync fonts to the desktop, you would need to upgrade to the Portfolio level. If you would like to do that:
1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio
Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments.
Once you have upgraded, you will be able to get started with desktop fonts:

    iMessage and FaceTime went down yesterday for some people. Mine is still down. My iMessage is saying the same thing about being activated. Sounds like you are still down too. Ignore the status page that says everything is fine - it lies.

    Typekit won't sync fonts with my Adobe ID. Any solution? I've selected to use fonts on Typekit on my desktop, but each time I have to re-link my Adobe ID, and the fonts don't sync. I have the Creative Cloud app running. Any help really appreciated.

    Move the incompatible iPhoto version to the Trash, before you try to reinstall from the AppStore, but don't empty the Trash.

    The main idea is to move the iPhoto app to the Trash, so Spotlight does not see it as installed, reload the AppStore Purchases tab with ⌘R, and then to try to download again from the App Store - from your Purchases tab, not from the main page, since you can neither buy iPhoto nor update it, but you can reinstall, if your AppleID is associated with it.

    I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this!  I'd recommend starting a new forum thread with your question, since it's not related to this topic (upgrading your Typekit account).  Sounds like there may be an issue with your Creative Cloud installation that is causing the software to crash.  Use the "ask your question" field at the top of the page: https://forums.adobe.com/community/creative_cloud
    The foundry that owns Univers is not a Typekit partner, so we cannot offer that font family in the library at this time.  If you have the option of using something similar, we recommend one of these selections from the library:

    Both sites say I have to upgrade to the latest browser and won't load some content. For Amazon, the issue is with the Gold Box Deals where they display the message:

    The previous version of Firefox was supported. What happened? Even the Firefox Google home page also has a similar statement:
    /You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!/

    That text about not running the latest Firefox version is hardcoded on the www.google.com/firefox site that previous Firefox used as the home page and Google doesn't seem to maintain that page anymore.
    Current Firefox versions no longer use that Google site as the home page, but use the build-in about:home page as the home page.
    So Google assumes that you use an older Firefox version if you still visit that site and warns you about that and suggests to update.
    You can use another page as the home page like about:home or www.google.com or www.google.com/ig (iGoogle).
    You can check this:

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
    It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

    FYI:  Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store >   Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
    Apple is not responsible for incompatibility isssues with third party software.

    You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.

    So since I've been using iTunes I've always used my AOL info to log in. Well, just a few days ago it started saying I needed to upgrade my account to a free Apple ID if I want to continue purchasing new music or using my current music. So I click for it to upgrade and it will take me to the page where it says change this account to use a Apple ID. When I click continue a box pops up saying an error has occurred and to please try again. I've tried several different times on 2 different computers on 2 different internet connections several days apart and always get this error. Can anyone help with what I need to do?

    You can only set up a limited number of new iCloud accounts per device. Is it possible that someone else created these accounts? Is it a second-hand device? In this case you will have to use an other device if you want to create a new iCloud account.

    You can likely download the last compatible version by:
    Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
    App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
    App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
    You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

    You should only ever download Flash from that link. If a site pops up a message offering you a link to download Flash, don't take it. It might be the Adobe auto-update, but it might equally well be malware - there have been problems along these lines.
