Types of attachments that can be sent in an email from SAP ECC 6.0

Hi,
We are redesigning a legacy application in ECC 6.0. The requirement is to send various types of files such as .txt, .csv and .xml files as attachments in email to various business users. The emails should be sent from ECC 6.0 to various external users.
The question here is whether we will be able send attachments of any type such as .txt OR .csv OR .xml in an email. If possible, what is the procedure to achieve that ?
Regards,
Mukund

  • IORDER01 IDoc is sent without plant code from SAP ECC

    Hi MEINT experts,
Does anyone experience before on the service order integration between SAP ERP and SAP ME, somehow the IORDER01 IDoc is sent over with empty plant code embedded in the original document? (where we suppose to see <WERKS> data tag is attached to the IDoc sent over from SAP ECC). This has resulted to the corresponding IDoc is not able to process by MEINT due to empty plant code.
Please advice how to resolve this if you have done that before.

    Hi,
Once the issue stems from ERP side of integration process, this question should be either re-posted to ERP-related forum or submitted as a customer ticket against PP-MES component.

  • Types of messages that can be sent from notebook to Blackberry?

Just had a user ask this question - what types of messages can he send (eg - SMS, PIN, BlackBerry Messenger) from his laptop to BlackBerry's?
A quick search shows the following for Bell:
    SMS -
http://txt.bell.ca/bell/en/       or through email send to [email protected]
Am I correct in assuming that Pin and BB Messenger messages must be sent from his BlackBerry?

  • HT5887 Can you share pictures (or anything really that can be sent through air drop) from one device to another with the same iCloud?

I'm trying to send photos from my laptop (Macbook Pro 13") that aren't in my iphoto, to my iPod Touch 5g via airdrop, but when i know i have the bluetooth and airdrop turned on, neither show up on either device.  They're both signed into the same icloud (and apple id).  The other solutions I thought of are emailing them... over a hundred, five 1080x1920 (or something like that) pictures per email, and then take the time to save each one, send them through iphoto (which i'm sure costs a few dollars in the app store, or send them through another internet based app (like dropbox).
Are photos (and documents and stuff) able to send through airdrop if the two devices are logged into the same icloud? -thanks

    - AirDrop only work between iOS devices and between later Mac omputer, Not between an iOS device and a Mac computer. Do not ask why.
    - Transfer them using PhotoStream

  • How do you compress a Tiff photo image on a mac so that it can be sent in an email?

How do you compress on a mac a Tiff photo file so that it can be sent in an email?

I don't believe .tifs are a web compatible format. Two options:
    1. You either have to compress it, where it becomes a .sit  or .zip file that is emailable. Your receiver will need to be able to decompress the file.
    2. Change it to a .jpg or .png file which are emailable.
Like Mr. Perkins says your ISP may limit the size of files that can be emailed.
I don't see where web compatibility relates to this issue in any way.
I'd be shocked if any computer whatever is unable to decompress a zip file.  However, as Mr. Perkins and I have confirmed via testing, the amount of compression can range from negligible to significant, depending on the original TIF file.
As far as changing to JPG or PNG, I don't know if that helps the OP.  The question was specifically related to TIFs.  Personally, I still prefer the MobileMe or Dropbox solution.  The recipient receives exactly what the sender wishes to send and email is not clogged up in any manner.

    Hi Munirathinam,
We can use transport rule and content filtering to implement this function, for example "SubjectOrBodyContains" or "
FromAddressContains". More details about it, please refer to:

  • What is the maximum number of addresses that can be sent in a group mailing

Can anyone tell me the maximum number of addresses that can be sent as a group mailing?
    Thanks.

"Does Mail complain when you try to send a message to several recipients at once? You might be surprised to know that Mail actually has no limit on the number of recipients to whom you can send a message! So, what's going on here?
Chances are it's your Internet Service Provider (ISP) that's preventing your message from being sent. Your ISP might do this, for example, to deter folks who send unsolicited bulk commercial email (such as "spam" or "Junk mail") to a large number of addresses.
If this happens to you, contact your ISP and ask them if they enforce a limit on how many recipients each email message can have. If there is a limit, you can either send your message to fewer people, or divide your recipient list into multiple sets and send the same message in batches (each time to a different set of recipients). "
    Brilliant! Thanks.

Hello, i have been sent the following email from apple, see below and asks for apple login details, is this a genuine request?
    Thank you.
You’ve taken the added security step and provided a rescue email address. Now all you need to do is verify that it belongs to you.
The rescue email address that you gave us is [email protected]
Just click the link below to verify, sign in using your Apple ID and password, then follow the prompts.
    Verify Now >
The rescue email address is dedicated to your security and allows Apple to get in touch if any account questions come up, such as the need to reset your password or change your security questions. As promised, Apple will never send any announcements or marketing messages to this address.
When using Apple products and services, you’ll still sign in with your primary email address as your Apple ID.
    It’s about protecting your identity.
Just so you know, Apple sends out an email whenever someone adds or changes a rescue email address associated with an existing Apple ID. If you received this email in error, don’t worry. It’s likely someone just mistyped their own email address when creating a new Apple ID.
If you have questions or need help, visit the Apple ID Support site.
    Thanks again,
    Apple Support

In that case, someone is trying to hi-jack your Apple ID.
You should change your password immediately.

After the last IOS upgrade, a freind sent me an email from her Suddenlink account.  Now I get a duplicate of everuy email she receives.  This is driving me crazy plus it is an invasion of her privacy for me to be receiving all her facebook responses, banking info, medical info, catalogs, etc.  I don't want the onslaught of all this email.  What do I need to do to correct this?  When I receive the emails, they have her address, not mine.  If I send her a new email at her Suddenlink address, it comes to me and to her.  Please help, this is driving me crazy.

I'm pretty sure that the solution is in the settings of her email

How can I send a delayed email from my iPad?

The only way would be to draft the E-mail and then close the iPad.  A draft would be created that would, I think, be sent the next time you turn the iPad on.
There is no "time delay" function.

  • Why can't I send group emails from iPad

Why can't I send group emails from iPad and iPhone?

There's a functional workaround to send Group emails that takes some setup, and a copy-paste. But it's easier than any one-by-one solution cooked up without a 3rd-party app. Here's the way:
    STEP ONE:
    Go to Settings>General>Keyboard-->Shortcuts
Add a new Shortcut by typing in the full email addresses in the "Phrase" field, separated by comma and space; type in the few letters representing this "Phrase" in the "Shortcut" field.
    STEP TWO:
In the email app, IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL, type in the letter for the Shortcut and space. Then Highlight-->Copy this text and paste it into the To: Field. (Obviously: Delete this text in email body; and use CC: or BCC: fields as desired.)
Regrettably, you CANNOT just type the Shortcut in the address fields as it gets lobbed into one address.
This "No Group Email Functionality" rates a #FAIL by Apple. One of the few.

  • How can I send pictures or email from my desktop to a cell phone?

How can I send pictures or email from my desktop to a cell phone?
I use Gmail for my emails.

By sharing playlists you mean sending the list of song titles along with the songs themselves you can't.  That would violate Apple's contracts with the studios regarding sharing music, videos, books, etc.  Which is strictly forbidden. With the single exception that I am aware of which is Home Sharing.
If you just want to share the list of song titles you could take a screen shot and email that.  Hold down the home button and press and release the power button.  The image is then stored in your camera roll.
