I own a Santa Rosa Macbook Pro (Silver, 15.4" with a matte LED display). It is a year old. My screen recently started to get patches on it so I went to the Apple Care Center and got my display replaced. Now the problem I have with my new display is that the viewing angles are horrible and the color shifts are worse! I move 10 to 20 degrees to the left or right from the center of the screen and the colors change drastically.
Looking at the inferior quality replacement display... I was happy with my earlier LED display, but I can't get that display back as it has already been shipped out of my city to get scrapped. Now my question is, does the Santa Rosa Macbook Pro come with any other type of panel (apart from LEDs)?
I have a strong feeling that Apple replaced my screen with an Active Matrix LCD instead of a LED screen.
I called Apple Care (India) on the toll free number and it seems that they're a bunch of illiterates because they don't know the meaning of Viewing angles & Color shifts. They actually made me go through the hardware troubleshoot & color calibrations! Its clearly an issue of the type of display that they've used and not a hardware issue.

Ok... I just got some more info on the panel. The part number is 661-4609 and after punching in the code in the terminal I get this: LP154WP2-TLA3
Now I think this is an LED backlit screen (which is what I require), but why am I having problems with the viewing angles on just one side? The Apple service center in my vicinity doesn't know if it is an LED or a CCFL backlit screen!! This is what happens... the moment I move 10-15 degrees to the left of the screen... the opposite end of the display darkens (as if I'm looking at a negative picture... a major color shift is noticeable) but if I move 10-15 degrees to the other side from the center of the screen... the opposite end looks perfect (no color shifts at that end). Can there be a possibility that the screen is defective? Or maybe the display connections are loose?
I have been using this laptop since the past 18 months and I can tell that my previous screen was much brighter and had great viewing angles. It had no color shifts either. (I am a graphic designer so I know about the issues of color shifts in an LCD... I use an IPS panel at home). Also, there is a slight tinge of yellow (Even after trying all possible calibrations).
Is there a way of finding out the part number of the screen that was in my laptop at the time of purchase? Maybe Apple has some kind of an assembly log?

MS Notepad is unable to display the Chinese characters I type and display them as squares. But when I copy those squares on notepad to Wordpad or MS Word, they display the Chinese characters just fine. I've no idea why those Chinese characters I type can't display properly on notepad. I check the font of the notepad and it's the default. I've another Windows Vista desktop computer which has notepad of the similar setting and display Chinese characters just fine. Both are using Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin New Experience Input Style to input those characters. But I don't understand why my Windows 7 is facing this problem.

Notepad is a very simple text editor BUT it will work if you use the SAME language in Windows. Please try:
1. go to control panel, click "Clock, Language, and Region"
2. click "Change location" under the "Region" section
3. go to the "administrative" tab, then click "change system locale...", then select "Chinese".

MainJogo is not a Movieclip so "this" (in the scope of MainJogo) is not a MovieClip.
if MainJogo did extend the movieclip class, you would probably still need to cast "this" as a MovieClip.

Condition type not displaying in po

I have defined a new condtion type copied frm FRC1 and in prociing sechme , i have not ticked that cond type in manul column.
when i do po, i not geting that new condition type in po condiition tab.

Firat check if the condition typw is present in the pricing procedure and check if this pricing procedure is been picked up in the PO by going into condition tab and then click on analysis button. check if ur condition type is displayed here.
Logic is that in case if you maintain the condition type as manual then the condition type will be automatically appears in the condition tab. In case if it is not manual then you have to maintain a condition record for this condition type, then only the condition type will appear. Or you can maintain this condition in the inforecord and it automaticlly gets picked up in the PO.

1. use tcode SHD0
2. give transaction as MM01
3. goto screen variant tab - assign some name - enter program name and screen name
(from mm01 - F1 help)
4. goto transaction variant tab - assign some name - assign already defined screen variant name
5. goto standad variant tab - transaction variant name already fetched automatically - click on active button (it was placed after transaction variant name

Transacction types not displaying in the popup

After system upgrade from crm 7.0 to ehp3, transaction types are not displaying upon clicking New button and create follow up buttons. I have checked the spro settings and compared with 7.0 system. There are no changes.
In the debugging in the method GET_PROC_TYPE_CUST of class CL_CRM_UIU_BT_GET_PROC_TYPES, i found the entries in the internal table getting deleted as the navigation is not supported. Am having the entries in lt_proc_type_t.

please check below configuration.
1. go to spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types
2. mark your Z transaction type
3. in navigation bar on the left side click on Channel
4. add channel GUI CRM WEBCLIENT UI
and one more thing check inactive check box should be empty.

External Content Type not displaying List.

I am getting the following Error when i go to the External Content Type List i Created.
Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.
When i open it up in Sharepoint Designer and look at the page i get this error.
soap:ServerException of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.An error has occurred.
I'm connecting to a SQL Server with sql server credentials. I'm able to see the tables and columns in the Data Source Explorer.
The permissions for the Content Type are all authenticated Users with everything checked.

How did you supply username and password to the external content type?
As i know, there are four options (user's identity, BDC's identity, impersonate windows identity, impersonate custom identity), you cannot directly input the SQL username and password.
I suggest you to use impersonate custom identity.
Before using it, you need to create a new target application ID in secure store service application. and select
user name and password for filed type at second step. after that, you need to set credentials for this target application ID to input your sql user name and password there.
Then you need to input this target application ID at connection properties (both default and client tabs) of the external content type.

Type not displaying on website

After I publish my muse project to the web, on either my server on in catalyst, when page initially comes up, the type is not being displayed. If I refresh the page, it does appear. ( but I can't very well tell my viewers to do this to view my website.) This needs to be fixed. (I'm using a font called Open SANS). It's happening in multiple projects. Anyone have a clue as to whats going on? one of the issue sites is at http://www.vicontest.com

Description of bus.event type is displayed with incorrect sequence in query

Dear experts,
I have created a query in logical database PCH in order to display the description of business event types. The problem is that if the description's length is more than 1 line, the query displayes the lines not in order (e.g. line with tabseqnr 1 first, line with tabseqnr 2 second etc) . It displayes first the line with tabseqnr 2.

The first thing you should do with any used computer is to erase the hard drive and install the operating system from original media. If you didn't receive installation discs with the Mac, you'll need to order them from Apple customer service; or, if you want to install a newer OS version than the one the machine shipped with, find a retail disc. The newest version you can run is 10.5, though you might have to add memory. The disc will be hard to find and expensive. Beware of scams, especially on eBay, and above all don't buy the gray discs that came with another Mac. Trying to get a 10.3 system to work with modern websites is probably a waste of time.

Info Type 0008 Displaying EUR

I am getting an error while maintaing INFO TYPE 0008 its displaying EUR in the currency field instead of INR. Also in T510 table (Revised Pay scale groups and Levels its showing EUR instead of INR in the currency field.
I have checked this table V_T510F_B for currencies, INR is there and for Company code, Personnal Area INR is there.
Please help me out to resolve this error.

These are the list of tables I made changes in the currency field from EUR to INR.
v_t001p, v_t520m, v_curc, v_510f_b, t500w_change, t500c, t500p, t510h.
Then also my problem did not get solved. is there any other way??? to sort out this...

Hi,
FMAVCR01 is the report for displaying consumtion in AVC budget ledgers. If the documents in question were included in budget consumption, the FMAVCR01 will show them. So, the question is whether you simply don't display this consumption or you don't want these documents to consume the budget. In the first case, you will have to define your own report; in the second case, you have to modify the derivation logic for controlling objects in AVC.
