Types of LCD (TN, PVA, IPS...) for different iMacs
Do you know what type of LCD is used in the old (white) and new (aluminum) iMacs, especially for the old-20? Here are some guesses, based on information from various threads (two are listed below) and I'd appreciate it if you can make corrections where necessary:
• new-24: H-IPS
• new-20: TN (but are there different sub-types of TN?)
• old-24: recently manufactured probably use H-IPS, but were the first ones (almost a year ago) different?
• old-20: ?? (they were not TN, but what were they?) - probably IPS? or PVA?
• old-17: TN (but similar to new-20 or different in some way?)

Hi CraigRu,
from the review I have read in german computer magazine c't:
the new 20" iMac has a TN display
the new 24" iMac has a IPS-display
For the 'old' iMacs I have to crawl through the stashes of the old issues of the c't, maybe I find them.

What's the right memory module for an iMac G4 Flat panel 15-inch?
Hello!
A new program I've recently bought requires me to expand my iMac's memory, which is currently 256 MB.
After searching the Apple Store web site, I think I've come to the conclusion that what I need is an Apple memory module called "512MB DDR266 SO-DIMM (PC2100), 200-pin". As I don't know any expert who can give me some advice, and as I'm no expert myself, could anyone please tell me if that's right?
Thank you!
iMac G4 Flat panel 15-inch Mac OS X (10.4.8)Ciao e benvenuto alle discussioni di Apple.
There are actually 3 different types of user slot installable RAM for the iMac G4 models so you'll have to check what your processor speed is (Go to Apple Menu > About this Mac > ):
iMac G4 15" and 17" 700 or 800MHz, PC133 144pin SODIMM.
iMac G4 17" 1GHz, PC2100 200pin SODIMM
iMac G4 1GHz 15" or 1.25GHz 17"/20", PC2700 200pin SODIMM.
So although I can't tell you exactly what RAM you need I can tell you that if you have a 15" screen the PC2100 is wrong.
I'd advise using Crucial memory in Europe as the prices are amongst the best and they are Mac friendly. I wouldn't recommend Apple memory; it's overpriced. I also wouldn't advise buying a cheap brand as it could cause trouble.
Here are the fitting instructions.

Hi,
Can we assign 2 IPs for a SCCM 2012 primary site server and use 1 Ip for communicating with its 2 DPs and 2nd one for communicating with its upper hierarchy CAS . ?
Scenario: We are building 1 SCCM 2012 primary site and 2 DPs in one domain . In future this will attach to a CAS server which is in different domain. Can we assign 2 IPs in Primary site server , one IP will use to communicate with its 2 DPs and second
IP for communicating with the CAS server which is in a different domain.?
Details:
1)Server : Windows 2012 R2 Std , VM environment .2) SCCM : SCCM 2012 R2 .3)SQL: SQL 2012 Std
Thanks
Rajesh VasudevanFirst, it's not possible. You cannot attach a primary site to an existing CAS.
Primary sites in 2012 are *not* the same as primary sites in 2007 and a CAS is 2012 is completely different from a central primary site in 2007.
CASes cannot manage clients. Also, primary sites are *not* used for delegation in 2012. As Torsten points out, multiple primary sites are used for scale-out (in terms of client count) only. Placing primary sites for different organizational units provides
no functional differences but does add complexity, latency, and additional failure points.
Thus, as the others have pointed out, your premise for doing this is completely incorrect. What are your actual business goals?
As for the IP Addressing, that depends upon your networking infrastructure. There is no way to configure ConfigMgr to use different interfaces for different types of traffic. You could potentially manipulate the routing tables in Windows but that's asking
for trouble IMO.

Cost Distribution in Shopping Cart for different account assignment type
Hi friends,
We are at SRM Server 5.5 at level SAPKIBKT07. Business scenario is extended classic.
User is creating a shopping cart with single line item and distributing the cost to multiple account assignments (say Cost Center and Order). Shopping cart has a valid source of supply. System creates a PO in SRM and tryu2019s to replicate the PO in ECC backend, however fails to replicate.
My understanding is that in ECC backend it is not possible to combine two different account assignments while distributing cost at item details.
Solution would be to create separate line items for different account assignments (distribute between similar account assignments).
Is my understanding right?
Thanking you in advance,
SandeepSreedhar,
Thanks for your update.
I am also MM consultant, so as far as MM goes we can only maintain one account assignment type per line item. In MM we have provision of multiple account assignment but it works only for single account assignment type per line item. Which means if account assignment is "k" then we can split between multiple cost centers, but we cannot split between cost center and WBS element in one line item.
You said it is possible to split between multiple account assignments in one line item. Will it be possible for you to try at your end and let me know how PO/PR are created in backend?

PO Output message types for different document types
Hi,
I wanted the system automatically generate the messages whenever a PO is created for different document types like NB,UB,Blanketorder, Pilot run.
These are the steps i did...plz advice any more steps to make this work
1. the output type I am using is NEU-purchase order
2. I have created condition records for document types NB,UB,PR etc
I was sucessfull in getting the messages automatically for the standard(NB) PO..but not for the other document types
Plz advice me how I can achieve this with further configurations
Thanks
SKidIf you have created conditin record for all the document type in MN04 then it should work becuase doc type has nothing to do for printing config.
this is basically a condition record.
check your condition record -
Customisation for PO Release (different Values for different Doc Types)
Dear Experts,
I need to configure for PO release procedure where in the Characteristics would be Plant (2 Plants), Doc Type (3 types - Standard PO, Imports PO & Capital PO) and Value (2 stage release: 0-100000 & >100000 INR for Std PO, 0-200000 & >200000 INR for Imports PO and 0-300000 & >300000 INR for Capital PO).
Please let me know where I shoud define the different Values for different Docs for the Release procedure to work properly.
Or let me know the entire procedure for achieving the same.
Regards,
MNPHi MNP,
You have to create different CLASSes in IMG with the possible combination of different characteristics,
EX. CLASS EKKO11 - Plant A, Doc type- Std PO, Value- 0-100000 & >100000 INR
CLASS EKKO22- Plant A, Doc type- Import PO, Value- 0-200000 & >200000 INR
CLASS EKKO33- Plant A, Doc type- Capital PO, Value- 0-300000 & >300000 INR and same for other plant
then assign these classes to the respective Release group.

Descriptive flexfield for different purchase order types
Hi,
Can i have a descriptive flexfield for different purchase order types?
Scenario : I have two purchase order types
1. Blanket : done from req--> auto create --> standard PO
2. Standard --> Direct PO
Regards
846691You can use darpan77's suggestion for context sensitive DFF. See http://oracle.anilpassi.com/context-sensitive-descriptive-flexfields.html for an example.
However, both options you mentioned talk about standard po. Is the difference in how they are generated? (One is manual and the other is autocreated?) -
GR output quantity for different material types using 101 mvt
Hi All
Is it possible to have separate GR slip quantities for the same movement type (101) but for different stock types.
I would like 3 GR slips for mvt type 101 for directly procured materials AND
I would like 1 GR slip for mvt type 101 for stock materials
Therefore, the material type on goods receipt would decide how many GR slips would be printed.
What config is necessary?
Thanks in advance
Darrenmaterial type is fixed for a material, it is not changed for GR.
you can make no of GRs or one po.
for stock items you need to make one PO and matrial for account assignment need separete PO.
account assignment PO > material direclty goes to cost center and consumption accouont
no configuration required. -
Uploading data in MM01 for different material types
Hi,
I have a doubt regarding uploading the data in MM01 for different material types.
Generally in MM01, we have different views for different material types. The number of views will vary depending upon the material type that we select.
I have a scenario, where in to upload the data, I have a flat file that consists of data for different message types. So, how to upload the data in such case.
Can anyone help me on the same by providing explanation or sample code...? What would be the possible ways to upload data in such scenario.
That would be of great help.

Sample CLASSES for different types of OIM components!!!
Hi Experts
Can any one provide me sample classes for different types of OIM components, adapters, scheduled tasks, etc. with your best practices for OIM java development and documentation? It would Help me lot.
Please let us know Links/Documentations.
Thanks
\oim_userfor schedulers
1. Create a java class that extends the SchedulerBaseTask (see example below)
2. Write your business logic
3. Compile and jar
4. Place the jar in the ScheduleTask directory in your OIM install
5. Create a new scheduled task using the OIM developer console
6. link in the new class into your new scheduled task.
7. Done!
Example code for a scheduled task:
import com.thortech.xl.scheduler.tasks.SchedulerBaseTask;
public class ScheduledtaskExample extends SchedulerBaseTask {
public void init()
//this method is run before execute by the scheduler
public void execute() {
//is executed by the scheduler
runMyBusinessLogic();
private void runMyBusinessLogic(){
//place your business logic here
}
