Typical number of CVCs and Matlocs for Sizing

Friends,
Can anyone tell me what would be the typical size of APO application?
I know it varies from company to company but trying to understand what would be the optimal number.
I have seen anywhere between 6000 to 600,000 SKUs for SNP and about 500,000 CVC's for DP. Please share your experiences and I am hoping that this thread can be a good resource for people looking to understand the sizing effort of APO application.

You are right. It completely depends on the organization, type of manufacturing and so on. It is really difficult to quote any specific numbers.
I have seen Matlocs of abt 250k and CVCs of about 50k.

You can't use your monitor to preview the printed output graininess of a photo because the Points Per Inch of a monitor is much lower then that of a printed output; Instead a bit of math will give you an indication of the graininess of a photo.
Divide the pixel width and height of the photo by the corresponding width and height of the intended printed output; take the smallest of these results and this will give you the Points Per Inch or PPI of the photo. For example, let's suppose that you have a 3000 pixel x 4000 pixel photo (approximately 12 Mega Pixel) and you want to output at 16 inches x 24 inches, then you would divide 3000/16=187.5 and 4000/24=166.66 so you maximum resolution given these numbers would be 166 PPI.
Typically good quality is achieved between 240 and 300 PPI but this also depends on the intended viewing distance; the further the viewing distance the lower the tolerance on PPI and the closer the viewing distance the higher the PPI should be; magazines are printed at much more then 300PPI while posters on a building may be printed at less then 100PPI.
You can tell Lightroom to enlarge a JPG output to a certain size while mainaining a specified PPI at export time or you can specify the PPI of your given print layout in the print module. If this doesn't give you satisfactory results, you may need software such as "Genuine Fractals 6" to enlarge your photo with less graininess.

How to change phone number in Imessage and "waiting for Activation"

i use my iphone5 - factory unlocked between two countries with two different sim card. When i am in the USA i can use both my both number and email address to send imessage.
I notice when i am in jamaica i can use only my email address to send imessage.
I tried just about everything i see in these forum.
I signed out of my apple ID and started to reactive my imessage. I notice when i am setting up it displayed my local phone number and email address as method person can contact via imessage. however aster clicking ok, i noticed it is still displaying my att phone number. the phone number area is grayed out.
I even update the local number to my apple id.
added the local number also to my contact in the phone.
I tried everything possible
also it s saying "waiting for activation" some time now.

is there a way - an application or widget - that allows you to monitor the amount (number of in and out) for my email?

I called Sun on this one, and found that everything is included under rlim_fd_max, unix sockets, std file descriptors, pipes, everything. At least I now know what to monitor with LSOF.

Is there a recommended number of data files that should be created with each Oracle database installation? Or best practice?..
What is the typical number? What are the pros and cons of having a large number of data files vs a smaller number?
we have created >3000 data files for 1 database. This is based on Customer's request. I want find out if this is against current industry best practice..

imho it depends on your architecture as well...if you put all the data for all your tablespaces in one file and customers create heavy traffic on various tablespaces you could be in for a gain in performance if you split the tablespaces on several files on different disks.
After all is said an drunk, the customer is King. If he wants a gazillion files, you have to provide for him. The customers usually buy their application off some company to whom they pay huge maintenance bills (the rule sometimes seems to be: if it's expensive, it's got to be good). And those companies are sometimes hard to seduce to change their proven concept/architeture. Nevertheless, as Satish Kandi said: for you manageability should come first; so get yourselves a good set of nerves on a nice day and go for the discussion. Remember: The DBA Knows Best! ;-)

Besweet, I'm having the very same problem with 60GB colour which was bought new and worked for 6 months before suddenly just not being recognised by PC. I hadn't changed anything at all.
I've followed all troubleshooting advice and reinstalled and updated iTunes and iPod updater software but all troubleshooting routes seem to hit the dead end of either the need to access the iPod via the PC (which isn't possible as it's not showing up at all) or the iPod in disc mode stuck at "ok to disconnect".
It's still under 1yr warranty so will have to take to a dealer.
I'm sorry that's not much help for you but at least you know it's not a unique problem.

we need the IDOC name and segment for mapping the sales order number created by oracle in sap for transaction VA01.
Whether the sales order number created by Oracle can be used to create the sales order in sap using the idoc ACC_SALES_ORDER01?
. If we can do,then what is the segment and field for the sales order number in the idoc ?

IDOC for sales order is ORDERS05. Segment E1EDKA1, for field go to SE11 and enter E1EDKA1 to find field for sales order.

Hi Katrina - I hear what you are saying about the problems. I've been using a BB Pearl here in Canada since January and I had the same problems with PocketMac from the start. iCal dates getting strangely duplicated after syncing and contacts in AddressBook groups getting listed twice on the BB. The only solution I used was to have the Mac always override the BB when syncing. NOt perfect but for me it was the simplest way to ensure the consistency of the data and my own sanity.
If anyone has a better solution that actually allows a clean sync I'd love to hear it.

I believe that you have an upgrade version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, in this case it will ask for the serial number of the previous qualifying version.

Now sure abour your requirment but if you pulling billing data then you can use follwoing fields
"Number of pipes" = quantity = VBRP-FKIMG (Actual Invoiced Quantity / Billed quantity)
"length" = MARA - LAENG (base don mataerial no u can get this from Material master)
