Typing not showing up in password fields

Hi folks,
I have a strange one - I can type in a password into a password field in FF3.6.17, but the field stays blank (or sometimes a space shows up). The passwords are being passed to the sites, but no placeholders aren't showing up.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

i have a really strange problem , i have a string field in access database that contains the date and time value,this field for some strange reason does not show in my table created through html,
i tried all combination(arranging the fields) ,renaming it w/o help, it shows the value using out.println(but then why is it not showing me in the table???)
plz. help ASAP.

KOMK Field is not showing up in the field catalog for creating cond. tab

I add a new field in KOMK table.
Its showing up in the Field catalog but when I create a condition table, its not showing up in that catalog to choose.

Alias tables do not show more than 9 fields of the same type in a Command

Hi there, In Crystal Reports I have a Command to query a database, this works fine and returns what I need,
but in when you add more than 9 alias's and and then Select more thatn 9 fields of the same type it does not show any more them in the Field Exporler window.
i.e. I want to add another alias and select casdet_text(10) but it does not show any more than 9.
Any help woud be apprecitated.

Hi James,
It's likely an internal limitation. If you are going to alias all of your fields it's more efficient to use a View or Stored Procedure to handle the renaming server side rather than client side.
It may even be a connection limit, try using another tool and see if you can add more than 9 aliases.

Is there any way to not show the device password on start-up?

The device is set to automatically show its password on start up. Is there any way to hide the password so it does not show?

I agree with you on this one. If they would just have an option that when you touch none interactive section maybe just the home button appears.
I rarely use that navigation system and the people that I have tested ralley know what to do when it pops up. If the page number came up instead of a slider, I think people would get it. Plus instead of icons have text. Table of content, home, back.

Port forwarding - Macbook not showing up in computer field

I'm trying to forward a port in my d-link control panel. I have to select which computer on the network to do so...there are two pc's, one desktop, one laptop & then my Mac. They are both showing in the drop down box, my Macbook is not. I'm connected to the internet fine...I'm unsure why my computer is not showing up & I need to select it, I believe, for the port forwarding.
Any ideas?

Port forwarding is generally done at the router level not the computer level. The router forwards all incoming/outgoing traffic for the port to the IP address specified - the given machine address as displayed by Network preferences.

Why an email address not show in the Bcc field in Send Items folder?

My user use Office 2007 and Exchange 2008. She sent an email which Bcced to 4 people for example A, B, C and D. However when she opens this email in her Send Items folder within Outlook, it only shows A, B and C in the Bcc field, but if she opens this email
in OWA, she can see 4 people in the Bcc field. It is the exact the same email. Outlook is in online mode (not cashed mode). I don't understand what could be the problem. Why D isn't shown in the Bcc field within Outlook?

Hi,
Since it's a Client-only issue, we can try starting Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if it's 3rd-party add-ins related:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.
I suppose the recipient D is not listed in the mail Filter lists?

You can also test if this problem exists when you switch to Exchange Cached mode.

My DW CC latest version does not show me the text field option when trying to make a form!!! P

Filled form in greek does not show "pi" character unless field clicked. Why?

I am trying to make one pdf form suitable to be filled in a lot of different languages and, as long as I am testing it, it seems to work, except from Greek. Somebody has filled the form in Greek, and say they cannot write "pi" character, and the form I have received from them shows a dot where that character should be, but if I click the textfield then the dots show the text fine, including "pi".
The font I applied in the "appearance" tab for the textfields is Arial Narrow. Should I use specifically a Greek font for the Greece form? Is not true that Acrobat Reader use local fonts for filling the forms?

the form did not work for most email in the Label "College Sports"'
the values of the parameters did not agree with email prefixes.
(i.e., was [email protected] --->> @collegestudentvoice.net)

text fields on an iDVD page show up before everything else - i.e. the slide show and movie fields sweep in later.

Crystal Reports Field Explorer not showing

Hi,
I am using Visual Studio 2003 with the bundled version of Crystal Reports. It has always worked fine until recently the Field Explorer tool bar does not show up anymore when I open a Crystal Report for development. I have uninstalled the entire Visual Studio and reinstalled the Visual Studio but it still will not show the Crystal Reports Field Explorer. However, if I install the Visual Studio on a completely different computer it works fine. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem on my main computer? Could it be a setting somewhere in the Visual Studio? I cannot find any information on this problem.

Ok, I figured out what the problem was. It was something wrong in my Windows profile. So I deleted my Windows profile and created a new one and it is working now.

The IView is not showing up few key fields in the Overview Part
for instance - Name, C/O , State , Zip code fields are missing from the overview part, but when i go to Edit part these field show up ( having data in them ).
The personalization option shows NO UI Element listed ( in the Overview - Transparent container ) in both Displayed and Hidden Column ( Yet few fields are showing up - Street Address , Telephone without area code )
I deleted all the personalizations from the iview and the corressponding page ( By reseting it - as advised by a fellow SDN'er ) , but it didn't fixed the issue.
Backend is correctly configured and webdynpro code has the fields listed as well.
There isn't any SAP Note on this, as well.

what SP level ar eyou on. If you are not on EHP2 or EHP3 ( that is ESS 1.3), the fields on the overview overview are hard coded ( UI elements generated on runtime not during design time) and hence you will not be able to use personalization. You will have to add fields in wdDoModify method of the overview screen.
I remember replying with a code of how to do this. Probably you may find it with a search on ESS forum

New Field not Showing up in Report, part II.

I had this issue with another report, and I was told that I hadn't brought my new field down all the way through to the final Select. 1) do you mean that statecode is not showing up in the Field Explorer?
2) if you run this through your db query tool, what is the result?
3) if you create a new report off of this syntax, what is the result?
