Hello!
I really need help u2013 Iu2019m using Xcelsius 2008. Since Iu2019m using formulas in my spreadsheet I have a warning message u201CYour range has been reduced to the maximum rows allowedu201D. I know it because I checked what happened if they are no formulas.
The formulas are for dynamic drill in charts.
At first it didnu2019t bother me since Iu2019ve seen all the data that I wanted, but now Iu2019m not seeing all the data. My main tab of the spreadsheet has around 100 rows and A-BE columns.
My question: How can I solve this?

BTW - i tried the "preference > excel options" trick and it didnt work - i put 5000 rows and still the message is shown.
although now i see the missing data, how can i really be sure there is something missing?

What problem does Encore have with DL?
If DL is not working properly for you the way around this is to export from Premiere to either mpeg2-dvd for DVD or BluRay H.264 for BD-disks and import the files in Encore.

I have about 5000 records in my Xcelsius. Once I preview it, system show "Your range has been reduced to the maximum rows allowed". Should I reduce records only less than 512 records?

Goto File --> Preferences --> Excel Options and set the maximun no of rows as per your requirement...

PTR issues once the IP address range has been delegated to our name servers

In the past, with only a DSL line, our ISP provided our forward and reverse dns entries for our zone and we never had problems with outgoing email. Recently, we've upgraded to a managed T1 line and have decided to run our own name servers on two xserves (one on the T1 subnet and one on a DSL line). Now, many email servers won't accept mail from a mail server without a matching PTR record. We've had our ISP delegate authority of our IP address range to us.
With DNS service on, I've checked that our named.conf file refers to the db.xxx.xxx.xxx file contained in /var/named/ which contains the correct PRT entry: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR xserve.example.com.
However, when using an external DNS server a "host name for address" search in Network Utility using the IP address, it only replies with:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa. 166154 IN CNAME 202.192/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa. Which refers to the IP range that our ISP has delegated to us.
When using our xserve as the DNS server, the host name is returned correctly, though.
Any thoughts? I've double checked with our ISP and they say they have delegated the IP address block to us.

We had a similar problem in the past and could not explain why it was not working. The reason simply was that our carrier (the ISP owning the IP addresses) reserved the right to set PTR records only on their systems. Therefore our PTR record was simply ignored.
So I would recommend contacting the support of your ISP/carrier, explaining your issue and let them set up the PTR record on their DNS properly.

Sync not working seems snyc has been a problem from day one and has never been fixed.

I have been trying to get sync to work for a long time and it just won't. I have deleted my accounts and redid them with the new version of sync and still not working. I just get errors saying it can't sync. I can log in but don't matter. Please fix your sync. i have tried firefox, firefox beta and now Aurora.

Since I switched back to firefox beta from Aurora I can't reproduce the error but it would just pop up at the bottom of the browser with an error saying Can't sync. I don't remember what the wording was I think it could not contact the server. But now that I went back to the beta its using the old sync and there is no way to set up with the new sync. This old version uses the pairing a device with code. I can't set that one up becuase all old accounts have been deleted and a new one created with the new sycn. It uses email and a password. There is no place to sign in with firefox or firefox beta for the new sync accounts. I went to Aurora because the old sync would not work either. I have tried everything your forms offered and nothing works. I kept getting can't sync and or can't sign in bad user name or password and I have the correct info. Your sync sucks it never works right and has been like this for a long time. I am now back on firefox beta but I do miss the new feathers in Aurora. So I have to just not use your sync and back up daily my bookmarks. And now I can't log into sync from here https://account.services.mozilla.com/ because it now says user name and or password not right and it is right. This is why using your sync is just not worth the frustration.

I evidently need to install Flash, but having done so, it behaves still as if I didn't. I have the new i7 iMac (and I see from some other forums that Flash installation has been a problem for some time.

If you are hang issues you can try calling AppleCare, you have 90 days of free telephone support. If they can't figure out the solution you need to contact Adobe, it's their product. Apple has announced they are moving towards HTML5 and away from Flash because it's so antiquated. It is also no-longer pre-installed on OS X so you need to download as you have found out.
You can try some basic resets to see if you can get it to work. I'd first recommend restarting in Safe Mode to clear some caches. If that doesn't work reset both the SMC and PRAM to see if that helps.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Router blocks after IP Range has been changed

I am having issues with my A90-9100EM15-10.
I need to change my IP range from 192.168.1.1. to let's say 192.168.22.1 in order to connect to a company network via VPN. I use TheGreenBow IPsec Client for the VPN connection. All connections are wireless.
I changed the IP range on the router, restarted the whole system (including Settop Boxes). All my devices get IP's in the defined range, the Settop Boxes get IP like 192.168.22.100 , ...
Now ever since i did that, my router freezes every day about 2 times. All the lights on the router are green, however i cannot ping the router nor login. There is no recognizable pattern, it doesnt matter if i have all devices on, if i have vpn connection, download or even just have my blackberry online.
I was dealing with verizon customer service, repair, and and and they are not really a help.
The last time i was told that i had to restore the default values as the settop boxes are required to have an ip from 192.168.1.100 ... and up and to wait and see if the problem is resolved. There might be a problem that the boxes do not have ip's like 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101, and so forth.
I was supposed to be called back by the tech today, so far no call...
My questions are:
did anyone in here have the same issues
Is it true that i cannot change the IP range without causing problems? I have broadband since over 10 years, and never had an issue like that before.

Is your WAN port through the COAX or do you have an Ethernet cable from your ONT to your WAN port?
If you have Ethernet to your wan port, you could use a different router not supported by Verizon. If not you would need to have Ethernet run from your ONT to the router location, and then have Verizon turn on Ethernet at the ONT. There are many different ways to configure this while still using the 9100 for the STB connection. But custom configurations will not be supported by Verizon.
Put it back to default and see if you continue to have issues. It may be something that just happened that is unrelated to your IP change. The router may have just started having issues. But if you run something different the default it is hard for them to troubleshoot.
I ran the Actiontec at 192.168.6.x for over a year and no issues. Now I can not say for the Westel 9100. My STBs are issued IPs from my DHCP server that is not a Verizon router and the WAN ports on the Verizon router are not even used. STBs get IPs at 192.168.6.100-106 based on MAC addresses, and works fine for the boxes. My router is a Linux PC box. No NAT table issues here, and yes it logs everything.
Do not expect any remote DVR features to work or any support from Verizon if you are running a custom setup. There are just too many variables for Verizon to support everything people would try and do. But as long as the STBs can hit the internet for guide and updates, all should work fine.
