U310 Touch - Videos not playing after 8.1 Update

Hello,
I have updated from Windows 8 to 8.1 and updated all my drivers on my U310 Touch.
However, I seem to have a problem with web based videos not playing videos on the internet.
This seems to happen on every kind of web browser, including IE, Firefox, Chrome, and even Steam.
If anybody knows how to fix this problem, that'll be great.

Since the upgrade to 8.1.1 my iPhone 6 stopped recognising the fingers I had stored. I've deleted and addrd them again (which went as norma) and it still has problems recognising them. Seems very intermittent now, whereas before this upgrade was very reliable.
I've reverted to a pin code :-(

Videos Not Playing After Publishing

I am using Captivate 7 for Mac and uploading to the Litmos LMS platform. In preview, my videos are playing just fine. When I publish to zip and uploading to Litmos, they don't play. I get a little grey/white striped box making it look like it's loading, but nothing ever loads. This is super frustrating and I don't know the fix. I'd love to hear ideas on how to make this work - or at least ways I can troubleshoot.

Make sure your video files are placed in the same publish directory as the main SWF and that the link to these videos consists of nothing but the video filename. The video filename should contain no spaces or punctuation characters and should ideally be all lower case. Then after uploading to your LMS, make sure that the LMS administrator can confirm videos of this mime-type have been explicitly allowed on the LMS web server.

Ipod touch will not sync after new itunes update

Ipod touch 4th generation will not sync after I updated the new itunes. Actually after I updated to the new itunes it deleted all my music from my ipod and refuses to reload. If someone could please help me that would be completely appreciated. I tried trying to sync each song individually but it didn't help (before it stopped syncing), then it stopped syncing, even though I have it hooked up it brings everything that I have on my ipod up but it won't do anything.

When I tried the first time it asked me if i wanted it to stop syncing and to restore. It gave the choices of yes and cancel, i didn't click either because the option box went away and it just stopped restoring on its own. I did the store again and now it is asking if i want to set up as a new ipod or to restore to Andrea's ipod. Should I set up as new?

Video not playing after exporting to Epub or pdf

Really need some help here!
I was making an ebook project with Indesign CS6 and was planning on putting some interactive videos which can be played in the ebook. However, after I've followed all the instructions online for placing video content into indesign and export as either interactive pdf or Epub format, the video I placed cannot be played and not even showing on Epub file.
Could someone help me to solve this kind of situation? Is there any setting I should make and I did not for exporting interactive video content?

1) The video I placed was in mp4 format.
2) On Media panel, I checked Option: "Play on Page Load" ,
                                            Poster: "From Current Frame" ,
                                        Controller: "SkinOverAll"
                                           "Show Controller on Rollover"
It worked fine on preview mode.
Now that I know Adobe Digital Edition doesn't preview video, and when I exported as interactive PDF format, the video frame cannot be clicked or played.
3) I was trying to export as EPUB3 and interactive PDF format
4) I was using Adobe Digital Editions and I did not know it doesn't preview video.

Video Not playing after browser upgrade, FF 3.6.28 to 10-4-Fox v. 24.2 - W/ G4 PCI "Yikes" - Tiger 10.4.11 ??

I just did the switch to 10-4-fox v.24.2 on my G4 "Yikes" 500mhz w/ tiger10.4.11 ..... I did the Utube Flash hack to play videos in FF 3.6.28 and it worked ok, considering slow CPU speed. .... Now since upgrade of browser I'm getting a message that I must install the latest flash player. .... Does this mean I need to do the hack again ?? .... to get the newest version of 10-4-fox to play vidoes ?? ..... I thought the Mozilla start page said something about not needing flash player to run videos in this most recent version of 10-4-fox ? .... I am going to go back and read it again, but I thought I should post my question here if someone has dealt with this and knows the answer for sure.

Yes, I installed TFF 24 and found that there was no way I could get Flash to work, and some sites need it absolutely, and inside the browser. Despite the TFF development team's take that you should download everything and play it outside of TFF with separate software, and those things you can't you just need to forget about, it is a major drawback to the new version. Fortunately I still had 17 on the computer and restored that. However, be warned, a bunch of my other add-ons were updated when I ran 24 and the developers of those no longer had the old versions available. I had to resort to my backup drive and grab some things out of there to get 17 back to where it was. It reminds me of a certain major computer manufacturer when it comes to the cussedness of downgrading and bullying ahead on specific policy lines.
It would be nice if there was some way one can have two versions installed in one user area.   17 for everyday use and 24 for when 17 becomes so out of date you start encountering sites that need 24.

Video(s) not playing after 5.0 update

Can't see any videos on BBC News, Youtube, or Yahoo. I suspect it's a Flash issue. Any fixes? Thanks.

The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Podcasts not playing after iOS8.2 update

I bought my iPhone 6 in December and have been using it happily to play podcasts in the car using a USB cable. All this changed after the iOS 8.2 software update. My car claimed there was no media connected when I plugged my phone in. If I tried playing a podcast on my phone and then plugging in the cable, it would play for a couple of seconds then cut out. There seemed to be definitely something wrong with the phone, as my friend's iPhone 6 could play podcasts in my car without issue, and my phone couldn't play in his car, when his phone could.
I reloaded the software, reset everything and even went to an Apple Store where they were very nice, but stumped as to my problem.
It turns out that with the software update, the car will not recognise there is any media on the phone if there is nothing downloaded into the iTunes app. This is why my friend's phone worked in my car -- he listens to iTunes in the car, I don't. So I had to download a song into iTunes in order to get the podcasts to play. I bought a ZZTop track in the hope that it will be at the bottom of any alphabetical list. I just have to be careful not to download my music library onto my phone or it will clutter up my phone. Music I listen to while working on my iMac, my phone I use to listen to podcasts while driving. In fact, the deciding factor for me buying an iPhone in the first place was my desire to listen to podcasts in the car, so this was a serious issue when it failed.
So this is not a question, just a posting to let anyone who is having this problem know what the solution is. There is obviously a bug in the software update which interferes with the Podcasts app (I am listening to Radio 4 podcasts, nothing obscure). So until this bug is fixed, it looks like I will have to keep that ZZTop track on my phone.

I should that this problem also exists with the Audible app for playing audio books. You can't listen to an audio book unless you have something also downloaded in the iTunes app.

Lenovo A1 - Touch screen not working after digitizer replacement

After dropping my tablet and breaking the digitzer, I ordered a replacement digitzer from a company in China. (It took about a month to get it) After watching this video, I was able to install my new digitizer and it finally looked new again....well at least the screen!
But.....when I powered up my tablet, the touch screen wasn't working..... I emailed back and forth with the company and they told me to install drive program, and send me a link to a site with a video, this site may have contained more than the video, but it was all in Chinese and I couldn't figure it out even with Google Translate. So I started researching. I thought I would try and load ICS on it, I thought, "Whats the worst thing that could happen?" it wasn't much more than a brick at this point anyways.
I found this website that let me through installing ICS on it. I had absolutly no expectations...but IT WORKED!!!! MY TOUCH SCREEN IS NOW WORKING!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
When I was researching for this problem, there was absolutly no posts anywhere for "Touch screen not working after new digitizer". So I wanted to share my experience.

Yea you are correct.....it must be a hardware problem. You must contact service centre of Lenovo and get help from there.

HELP!!! iTunes not playing after lastest upgrade

My iTunes is not playing after lastest upgrade, and i onli hear a lo buzzing sound wiht i hit the play button, and the diamond thingy is still moving. I tried reinstalling and re importing the music files, but i juz wouldn't work. help

Nope i did not have any success with the other possibilities, other then the one concerning the hardware.
hmmm. okay, if you switched sound enhancer off, that probably would have covered that possibility anyway.
we'd better check your video drivers as well as your sound card drivers. (old video drivers can cause problems with Quicktime that can show up as itunes audio problems, since QT provides audio playback for itunes.)

My 2nd generation ipod touch will not play audio books

My 2nd generation ipod touch will not play audio books. How do I fix this? I downloaded the books from iTunes on my computer. I loaded them on my ipod. It shows them on my ipod. It will go to the menu where you can choose which book and then actually pulls up the book then acts like it is going to play. Then it just goes back to the list of books. It won't play any of them. It will play music though.
How do I fix this?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and audion book and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

If you have lost all sound and video is freezing on you, that ain't good. Your iPad is two months old so I would not hesitate to contact Apple at all. You are entitled to 90 days of phone support.

If you want to try a couple of things on your own, try quitting all apps and then reboot the iPad - not so much for the sound issue itself - but more as a general "start all over again" sort of approach. It might help with the video freezes.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If you use headphones on occasion, you can try plugging and unplugging those as well and see if the sound comes back.
You could even try restoring the iPad to factory settings and then restore from a backup, but unless there is something totally hosed on the iPad, that should not be necessary with a two month old device - of course assuming that you didn't drop the iPad or do something accidental that could be causing the problems.

I understand that an application you downloaded from the App Store, Google, is not functioning as you would expect. In this situation, I would recommend following the troubleshooting steps outlined in the attached article.

have upgraded and some songs which used to play on iTunes 7 no longer play. album art is missing. when trying to play on of these songs, nothing appears in the playbar at the top of the window.
it seems the same problem exists in the mac os environment.

The solution I discovered to fix this problem was to create a smart playlist with all song of a kind containing MPEG. Then I went through album by album, and coverted ID3 tags using the value of NONE. This then enabled me to play the songs in iTunes 8.0 and in many cases restored the Album Art.

I would try in oreder:
- Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPod via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
