U330 - How to recreate the OKR parttion?

I shrinked my C driver in my new Lenovo U330 -2267-2AU. And now, the OKR not work. I reinstall the fresh windows Vista on my U330. And is there any way for me to recreate the OKR parttion that me could use this function again?

if you haven't deleted OKR partition the only thing you have to do now is to increase C size to state of it was when you bought laptop or above that.
If you've deleted hidden partition you can't recreate it.

How to recreate the database only?

Hi All,
We are having some dictionary blocks corrupted in our application database. The solution is to recreate the database and import the whole database into this new database. Details of product we are having
OS : RHEL- ES 3
Application : 11.5.9
Database : 11.2.0.3
Now our main consideration is:
1) How to recreate the database without reinstalling the applications.
2) Is there any special consideration to follow?
3) What will be the impact of recreation of database on Applications?
Pls help me in this matter.

You can use the above command to just install the Oracle Home in a new path.
But, i am not sure if export / import works or not. May be other experts can comment on this.
If you have a physical backup, it would be better to clone the db rather than Export / import.

How to recreate the smart notes of Pages in InDesign?

I am trying to find an InDesign notes-method similar to the very attractive and comprehensive notes used in Pages. I want the notes to remain visible in my final printed document (art book) as part of the aesthetic, and as a tool for cross-referencing between chapters and sections, and for supplying information about links etc.
Can anybody help? I know about InDesign editorial notes, but the sytem does not function as nicely.

Are you talking about Pages' Comments feature, because that doesn't carry through to the printed version.
Your question would be better addressed to Adobe's Indesign forum, although from my experience it tends to be less responsive than here.
Commenting work is usually done in the word processing stage and on .pdfs in professional workflow.
To recreate the effect make a graphic text box to hold your comments in Indesign and save it as a snippet or library item. How that would look would be up to you and could easily appear just like the comments in Pages, but would not be an auto feature.
I would suggest creating a "Comments" layer in Indesign to hold these so they could be turned off and on.
You could also make them interactive buttons to show/hide in .pdfs generated from Indesign. Really there is no limit to what is not possible with some work.

There are a number of ways to create a relationship between data blocks. You can use the Data Block Wizard or you can open the block node in the Object Navigator - select the "Relationship" sub-node and then click on (+) to open the Relationship Wizard. If you have a data block situation where a standard relationship object doesn't work, then you have to recreate - through code - the functionality of a relationship.

How to recreate the Create Adobe PDF printer queue (Mac)?

I have tried deleteing the files in /Library/Printers/PPD Plugins (nothing was there) and /Library/Printers/PPDs but when I go to repair the Acrobat install from the Help menu, I only get the option to recreate the Safari plug-in. There doesn't seem to be any option under Distiller. So how can I recreate that print queue, short of reinstalling from scratch?

That's one way. Another is to use the Save as Adobe PDF from the PDF box at the lower left of the Print window.

Hi everybody!
I migrated my Snow Leopard server to Lion and discovered (to my annoyance) that it doesn't run an Open Directory server by default. This is bad since we have several Macs that rely on this feature. As you all know, Apple ***** badly as far as the documentation or support for Mac OS Server is concerned.
Anyway, with a lot of research I got my OD up and running again, including all the user accounts. There is just one victim: the com.apple.calendarserver user account. It is not in OD anymore, and it is not in the local user database. Consequently, email invitations in iCal don't work, which again ***** badly.
Can any of you guys tell me a way to recreate this user account without blowing the rest of the server out of the water?

I finally hit the right spot, I think. Having a look at the server settings via
# sudo serveradmin settings calendar::Scheduling
revealed that they were all wrong. I looked up my System key chain and voila, there is an entry for icalserver.invitations. I retrieved the password and checked if it worked by entering
# sudo doveadm auth com.apple.calendarserver <password from key chain>
It worked! So I fixed the server settings via
# sudo serveradmin stop calendar
# sudo serveradmin settings calendar::Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Password="<password from key chain>"
# sudo serveradmin settings calendar::Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Password="<password from key chain"
# sudo serveradmin start calendar
Everthing seems to be running happy dandy right now, I'll test some more and report back to you guys if I run into more glitches.

Need to export a Bank Statement PDF into Excel. When I do export the file the alignment is all out of wack, how do recreate the format?

Hi need to export Bank Statements into an Excel document, so I can edit and add information. I have downloading the Statement which is PDF format than exported to Excel. I than open the file and the margins are all out alignment. Need to amend and put everything in their correct margins. Is their a easier way of doing this?

If it's imported in to excel you nee to adjust the Columns and rows to fit, in excel. Once its imported It has nothing to do with acrobat.

How to Recreate the Business layer for Deleted Universe

I have moved the universe from DEV to PROD insted of copy. after MOVE i have lost the universe from DEV folder then the reports pointing to the DEV are not working . Now my DEV universe is moved , there is no universe in DEV Folder then i have placed my back up universe in to DEV folder and returns with the error named "You do not have the right to access data returned by this universe. (Error: INF )" , If i try to edit the qurey returns with error named "No business layer sent back from server" and i try to change source of my DEV reports but the Change Source option is disabled.
The below options i have tried
1. Refresh Structurre of universe and Exported
2. Request the universe and connection access from BO admin team (They have refused)
Please suggest me if there any work around.

Grant permission to the user on top of the universe, universe connection , folders and reports under the folders.
Before doing this login with admin account and test running of the reports. if there are no issues with admin then just grant the user access. its simple

SBS 2008 - How to rebuild the reporting database

I'd like to start using the inbuilt reporting facilities in SBS2008. But when I start up the console and click on "Reports", although I am taken to the SBS2008 console's reports screen, a couple of seconds later, the following error message
is displayed:
"There was an error while loading data for this page".
When I click "Close" to close the error message, I'm left looking at the console's reports screen but with nothing shown. The top pane simply says:
"There are no reports to display".
So, I then click on "Add a new report" in the right-hand pane. Nothing happens for a couple of minutes - not even an hour glass. Eventaully, a window opens up, headed "New Report Properties". So, I had a go at creating
a new report, e.g.:
- Report Name = Test123
- Content = Summary
- E-Mail Options = I entered my email address
- Schedule = I set it to daily at 9pm
When I clicked "Ok", after a couple more minutes of thinking, it came back with:
"The report properties cannot be saved. Reopen the Report Properties dialog, and then try again."
I don't know how to tackle this issue. I administer the network here but don't know SQL Server - and we don't have any SQL Server applications of our own - just the inbult ones like WSUS.
If there is a problem with the actual reporting database, I'd be happy to rebuild it, or even reinstall SQL. But I don't know how. My main concern is that WSUS is running beautifully and I don't want to go anywhere near anything that might
break it. I would rather have no reports than lose WSUS.
Could someone point me to some step-by-step instructions aimed at someone who knows Windows Server (to an extent) and SBS2008 - but has no knowledge of SQL Server?

I worked through the article but hit problems.  Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
Here's what happened:
1. I checked that SQL Server 2005 is installed and that Windows SBS Manager is installed and started
2. I looked for "SQLServer (SBSMONITORING)" in the list of services but it is completely missing
I then followed the section headed "If necessary, create a new SBSMonitoring database". This takes one to another article:
