Ubd and check reserve space

Hello,
Like most people I have an hyperactive ubd process, and it's not because of the keychain, or a folder that it can't create.
In the Console logs, http://photo.solstices.ca/autres/infos/screenshot.png I get this error many times a second.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Loa

Dave, his problem is that the iPad says there is not enough unused storage to download more photo using the CCK he already has. He said he deleted stuff and the iPad say there is storage space available but when he used the CCK it says there is not enough storage space available.
For the original poster (sorry forgot name), have you tried reseting your iPad to try to make the empty space available.?
Reset:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Zune and reserved space problem

Hi all, I just started using lumia 710 and finding it a great, fun and highly efficient device. One minor problem I am getting is with zune and reserved storage space.
If I install a game/app in phone, the reserved space bar increases as expected. But the problem is that, even if I uninstall the game/app, the reserved space bar does not decrase, it stays the same as when the game/app was installed. so if i try out a few apps/ game and remove them later, i lose the equal amount of space from zune media storage. For example I tried out couple of xbox live titles and removed them later, net result --> my reserved space increased ~500mb while i lost 500mb from zune media free space.
if anyone can help me to sort this out, I will be very much grateful.
P.S. from phone i see i have ~ 3gb free space out of 6.28 gb. thanks

Additionaly, I have all my music files in User/Music & in Downloads. I also see my iTunes "Media Folder" is located in User/Music/iTunes and is 20GB...the size itunes says.

  • CS3 Installation "check disc space and write privileges" message

I recently purchased a new desktop.  I  deactivated CS3 from my old computer (Windows Vista OS) and downloaded CS3 to the new(Windows 7 OS), After it shows 100% extraction, I get a "A problem occured while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and write privileges for destination folder."  Not sure what to do from here and Adobe does not offer any phone support for my archaic version of PS.
I tried out copying the downloaded ADBEPSHPCS3_WWE file to C:\ as suggested in a previous post, however to no avail.
Many thanks in advance to whomever might be able to offer assistance.

    Thanks again for the replys....
Like I said, my desktop is new--I'm not a techno geek just yet, but it's an ASUS, Intel dual core, I've got 340GB of 372GB available on  C:\ and 550GB of 550GB on D:\ ...Would space be an issue with these stats??  The product is downloaded, and when I go to start the instal, it looks like it's doing well at extracting the files and indeed I can access the setup.exe file, but when I try to open it, I get the Windows "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to this computer?"  When I click yes, that window goes away, but nothing else seems to happen??

  • Checking Swap space from OS level in HPUX

    Hi All,
We have some issues with swap in our SAP production system when I checked the ST06 Tcode
    Swap
Configured swap     Kb    20,971,520     Maximum swap-space  Kb    54,389,460
    Free in swap-space  Kb     8,945,160     Actual swap-space   Kb    54,389,460
And when I checked from the OS level ,it gave me the following result
    swapinfo
Kb      Kb      Kb   PCT  START/      Kb
TYPE      AVAIL    USED    FREE  USED   LIMIT RESERVE  PRI  NAME
    dev     1048576  658208  390368   63%       0       -    1  /dev/vg00/lvol2
    dev     19922944  889824 19033120    4%       0       -    1  /dev/vg00/lvol9
    reserve       - 19423488 -19423488
    memory  33417940 24781076 8636864   74%
Does it mean that total swap space is (1048576 + 19922944)KB which is 20GB?
If yes ,then how to increase the swap space in UNIX based systems?
SWAP SPACE = 3*RAM? If yes ,do we need to put swap size =60 GB?
    In ST06
what is the difference between CONFIGURED SWAP-SPACE and ACTUAL SWAP-SPACE?

    Hi,
Thanks for ur reply but when I checked it from OS level why it is showing only 20GB ?
What's the diff between configured and actual swap space ?
    I checked SAP Notes :146289 and 153641
They clearly says that swap space should be atleast 20 GB plus 10 GB for additional Instance for the server.
In our landscape we have CI and 4 dialog instance connected to it
that means our swap space should be 20 + 10*4=60 GB
We are having HPUX server and ST06 Swap values are
    Swap
Configured swap     Kb    20,971,520   Maximum swap-space  Kb    54,389,460
    Free in swap-space  Kb     8,697,960   Actual swap-space   Kb    54,389,460
Do we need to increase the SWAP Space to increase the system performance?
What is difference between configured swap and actual swap space ?
SAP Note 1112627 clearly says that SWAP SPACE = 2* RAM for HPUX servers.
What do you guys say about this?
    Regards,
    Prashant

  • Oracle reserved and non-reserved keywords

    Hello,
I'm looking for a list of reserved and non-reserved keywords for all Oracle versions starting from 9.
I think Oracle starts at R1, right? So the versions needed would be:
    9.1, 9.2
    10.1, 10.2 and
    11.1
I found lists of keywords querying Oracle view V$RESERVED_WORDS
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/dynviews_2048.htm#REFRN30204
    here:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/ap_keywd.htm
However, this is only for version 10.2 and it contains only reserved keywords.
I need a list for every maintenance/minor version. This list must contain all keywords in Oracle PL/SQL, not just the reserved ones, but also those which shouldn't be used in certain contexts described by the V$RESERVED_WORDS view (former link) -> probably reserved = 'N'.
Since I don't own a copy of Oracle and definitely not of every minor version, does anyone know where to obtain such lists?
You might want to do me a favor and query that view for me... ;-) (you can send the output to "k w u t z k e AT w e b DOT d e" ... don't forget to mention the version)
From what the view tells me, the SQL statements to query are:
    For reserved words:
    select keyword from v$reserved_words where reserved='Y' order by keyword;
    For all other non-reserved words:
    select keyword from v$reserved_words where reserved='N' order by keyword;
Are there any keywords/entities that are neither reserved='Y' nor reserved='N'?
Can anyone help on this issue please?
    TIA,
    Karsten

Not sure about differences between specific versions but the easy way to get reserved words is in SQL*Plus...

  • OraRRP Error with "Unable to copy data file;Error code 2, check disk space"

    Hi,
Some users get this message -"Unable to copy data file;Error code 2, check disk space" when run report with orarrp, but most users do not get it.
I check free space at both server and client side, they are very sufficient.
I also checked directory exists for REPORTXX_TMP variable.
My user call reports via URL (rwservlet) and it occur for all reports.
How I can solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

  • How will check the space taken by a single table in a tablespace ?

How will check the space taken by a single table in a tablespace ?
dba_segments is giving the same values even if I truncate the table?
    Pls reply

I need to know how can we find out the size of the table in the tablespace.use user_segments (bytes) column.
How much bytes it has taken ?value from user_segments, bytes column
If u delete records will the space be used for another table in same tablespace? No, it keep the space in the same table for future usage.
How can we free that space ?truncate or drop the table and reduce the size from tablespace, if you want to reclaim the space from the tablespace, OS level.

  • Error in "Checking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix..." phase

    Hello,
We are in the middle of an Upgrade proyect from R/3 4.6C (kernet 4.6D EXT) to ECC 6.0.
As a first step we are doing an Heterogenous System Copy to migrate from servers with HP-UX B11.11/Informix 9.4 to servers with AIX 5.3/DB2 UDB 8.
We already did the database import with no errors. When we are installing R3 4.6C in the target server we are getting u201CMemory Fault (coredump)u201D error in the u201CChecking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix, Windows Tablespacesu201D phase.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

  • I recently moved my iTunes folder to a portable drive to make space on my macbook pro with Mavericks, and now the space is still taken up by back ups? any help to clear this space up would be greatly appreciated! Oh btw, macbook pro backs up to time caps

Im trying to free up some of the space on my macbook pro, its been filled up with itunes hd movies, so i purchased a 1TB portable hard drive and moved all my itunes files to it to free up some space. When i went into about this mac and checked storage, it says i have over 400GB's of back ups. I back up everyday through time machine to my time capsule, not sure what to do, any help is much appreciated! thanks

When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as  Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself, nor should you disable them or Time Machine.

  • I want to update my Mac from 10.6.8 to Mavericks, but every time it says update unavailable for this computer. How do I check for space available or how much space I  have used? Help please, I am new to using Mac computers.

I am a new Mac user and I bought a refrubished Mac that has Mac OS X VERSION 10.6.8. I have been wanting to upgrade to Mavericks, but every time I go to do that a message comes up saying OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer. Is there anyway I can instal it? Better yet how can I look up how much GB of memory I have and the available storage?

    1. No, but you might be able to upgrade to Lion. Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check that the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU, and if so, click here.
    2. Check the RAM from the About this Mac window, choose Computer from the Finder's Go menu, control-click the internal drive, and choose Get Info. If the computer has a 32-bit EFI, it can't be upgraded to Mountain Lion or above regardless of the RAM and free drive space.

  • I have OsX 10.6.8, and imac 2007-08, and enough disk space to download yosemite but still Apple tells something is wrong and generates a list of maybes but not a specific reason. Any ides as to how to pin point the problem of the upgrade?

Want to upgrade from 10.6.8 to yosemite  and I have a imac 2007, and enough disk space. but when trying to download, I get a "I can't" due to a list of possible issues, but how to isolate the problem?
    Thanks,
    josefromaptos

Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) model number 7,1 or higher
    Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
Check to make sure your applications are compatible. PowerPC applications are no longer supported after 10.6.
    Application Compatibility
    Applications Compatibility (2)
    Do a backup before installing.
If you can/do upgrade, I recommend you make a copy of the installer and move it out of your Applications folder. The installer self-destructs. The copy will keep you from having to download the installer again.  You can make a bootable USB stick to install using this free program.

  • Report on payemnt and check info

    hi experts.
iam developing a report based on below requirement.
extract vendor master file and A/P transaction file for 4 fiscal years ( 2004-2008) for all company codes. include bith active and inactive vendors in vendor file and both paid and unpaid transactions in transaction file
so iam geting the closed items from BSAK . based on getting
payment and check information from PAYR and REGUP tables .  openitems iam getting from BSIK.
with above logic from from BSAK iam getting more data  (so many records for each  vendor) i dnt want to include all the records.i want just payment transaction for each invoice.
please tell me how can i filter the data.how can i write the logic for it?
    thanks in advance.

              AND vblnr = t_reguh_aux-vblnr.
with this iam getting all the records ( no of records are more)

  • Where is "Reserve space for disk use" in iTunes? Docs are out of date

    Hello,
Where did "Resereve space for disk use" go in iTunes? I can't find it any more.
This is major problem because if I want to auto-fill my phone (I don't have time to constantly set up playlists) I then get constantly get errors that my phone is full and that I can't take photos. This is really frustrating.
If I got to iTunes Help, the documentation is wrong and out of date. I have iTunes 11.1.5 and if I go to Help -> iTunes Help and look at this section, it's completely wrong. See attached screenshot.
The whole iTunes UX has become a confusing mess, I hope you're looking for a new product manager for it.
    Thank you,
    Geoff

I am having the same issue. It even tells you that you can reserve space on your phone in the iTunes help, but I can not figure out how to open the Autofill Settings window in iTunes. Here is what it says in help of iTunes 12.0.1.26:
    Autofill settings
You can use Autofill to add songs to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad with a single click. You can set Autofill to select songs at random, or you can customize your settings.
You can select these options in the Autofill Settings window:
Other options are available at the bottom of the iTunes window when you're viewing music on your device:

  • Java 1.4.1 - Could not reserve space for object heap - need help

I know this problem has been posted before, but I thought this was fixed in release 1.3. I'm using Windows XP/Professional and do the following:
    C:java -Xmx2g
Error occured during initialization of VM
Could not reserve space for object heap
    C:java -version
java version "1.4.1_02"My computer system has 1 GB of RAM and a 2 GB pagefile, expandable to 3.5 GB. I can get going with -verbose:gc -Xmx1600m -Xms200m, but the GC only gets to about 1 GB before I get an out of memory exception, not even close to 1.6 GB as specified.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on this behavior.
    Cheers, Eric

  • Can I use autofill - but reserve space on iPhone for non-music ?

    Hi
I would like to autofill my Iphone with music but reserve space on the Iphone for other media.  It seems it used to be possible, but I can't find it anymore on Itunes 11 on my Imac.  Any help? THanks!
    Mike

You must have gotten an SSD in your mini, then: I didn't think of that initially.
While it is technically possible to mount an iPod and use it in disk mode to store an iTunes library, the iPod's drive is very slow and not designed for the sort of continuous use having it store your iTunes library would put it to, so I would not recommend using it as such. If you don't want to keep your library on the mini, use the external drive, or perhaps better buy another one to use for your library.  You can pick up a 500GB USB drive for under $60 if you shop around.
BTW, marking your own post as being the one to solve your problem isn't a good strategy unless you did indeed find the solution yourself and do not need any further responses.
    Regards.
