UC 9.1 Transfer Rules being Ignored

The system is playing standard greetings only.  Even if the standard transfer rule is set to goto an extension the standard greeting will be called upon.  All of the night greetings stopped functioning in the system as well.  Only the standard greetings are being applied.  This just started happening.  Any ideas?
Thanks,
~H

I just got off the phone with TAC on this.  A couple months ago we went from Unity to UC.  Some call handlers are set with an always closed schedule that has no time opened times selected.  TAC advised me that in UC the schedules at least need to have some times specified or UC doesn't know how to handle it and it treats it as an open schedule since no times are selected.  When testing the call handlers I was using ones that call upon the "always closed" schedule.  As a temporary solution until I root through all the call handlers I set the always closed schedule up with an open time of 11:50 - 11:55pm on Sunday night.
Is there anyway to do a search to see which call handlers are using a certain schedule?
Thanks,

  • 5520 to 5525 all access rules being ignored.

    I copied my config from my old 5520 to our new 5525 and when I cut over to it from the inside out I could get to the internet no problem but from the outside in none of our access rules were working.  Could someone take a look at our config and maybe inlighten me on the problem please.  Thanks,

    Hi,
    Any ASA using software 8.3 or above that does Static NAT between private and public IP addresses (or any NAT at all) and you want to allow traffic from public network to those Static NATed servers you will need to use the local/real IP address in the ACL statements.
    If your ASA5520 was running 8.3 or above software levels then there should be no major changes compared to an ASA5525-X running 8.6 software level.
    The only situation I can think of right now is if you had used ASA5520 with software 8.2 or below BUT in that case you WOULD NOT have been able to directly copy/paste the configuration to the ASA5525-X device as the lowest software level that the ASA5525-X supports is 8.6(1)
    So I am kind of wondering what the situation has actually been.
    But one thing is certain. You need to use the real/local IP address of the server in the ACL rules even if you are allowing traffic from the public/external network.
    The "packet-tracer" test used to simulate a connection coming to one of your Static NAT public IP address should also tell if your ACLs are configured correctly, among other things.

  • How to make use of a global internal table in SAP BW during transfer rules

    HI friends,
    I am ABAP consultant working on some APO info cubes. I have an issue during the upload of planning area data into APO info cube.
    Please help.
    I am using a transfer routine to find the TECHWEEK from a data base table ZGC_CALWEEK based on the on the calender month and calender week.
    Code I am writing is like below.
    *       FORM COMPUTE_/BIC/ZCALWEEK
    * Compute value of InfoObject ZCALWEEK
    * in communication structure /BIC/CSZT6DPPA
    * Technical properties:
    *     field name      = /BIC/ZCALWEEK
    *     data element    = /BIC/OIZCALWEEK
    *     data type       = NUMC
    *     length          = 000006
    *     decimals        = 000000
    *     ABAP type       = N
    *     ABAP length     = 000006
    *     reference field =
    * Parameters:
    *  -->  RECORD_NO       Record number
    *  -->  TRAN_STRUCTURE  Transfer structure
    *  <--  RESULT          Return value of InfoObject
    *  <->  G_T_ERRORLOG    Error log
    *  <--  RETURNCODE      Return code (to skip one record)
    *  <--  ABORT           Abort code (to skip whole data package)
    FORM COMPUTE_/BIC/ZCALWEEK
      USING    RECORD_NO LIKE SY-TABIX
               TRAN_STRUCTURE TYPE TRANSFER_STRUCTURE
               G_S_MINFO TYPE RSSM_S_MINFO
      CHANGING RESULT TYPE /BIC/OIZCALWEEK
               G_T_ERRORLOG TYPE rssm_t_errorlog_int
               RETURNCODE LIKE SY-SUBRC
               ABORT LIKE SY-SUBRC. "set ABORT <> 0 to cancel datapackage
    *$*$ begin of routine - insert your code only below this line        *-*
    * DATA: l_s_errorlog TYPE rssm_s_errorlog_int.
    DATA: LV_WEEK         TYPE ZGC_CALWEEK-APOWEEK,
            LV_MONTH        TYPE ZGC_CALWEEK-APOMONTH,
            LV_TECH_WEEK    TYPE ZGC_CALWEEK-TECHWEEK.
      LV_WEEK   = TRAN_STRUCTURE-CALWEEK.
      LV_MONTH  = TRAN_STRUCTURE-CALMONTH.
      SELECT SINGLE TECHWEEK INTO LV_TECH_WEEK
        FROM ZGC_CALWEEK CLIENT SPECIFIED
        WHERE  MANDT = SY-MANDT
        AND  APOWEEK  = LV_WEEK
        AND   APOMONTH = LV_MONTH.
      IF SY-SUBRC IS INITIAL.
        RESULT = LV_TECH_WEEK.
      ELSE.
        RETURNCODE = 1.
        ENDIF.
    *$*$ end of routine - insert your code only before this line         *-*
    ENDFORM.
    There are more than 50-80 million records that wil be transferred from planning area to info cube. The select statment is giving pathetic performance as this has to run 50-80 million times.
    After adding the select statment to find the TECHWEEK it is taking 4 times the time that used to take before writing the select statment.
    Is there a way that I can first fetch the data from ZGC_CALWEEK to one internal table and that internal table can be used using read statment during the transfer routine instead of writing select statement here.
    Please help in this case?

    Hi Ashutosh,
    Thanks for the reply,
    The structure of the ZGC_CALWEEK is as below. I have already created a secondary index on the table for this table for the fields APO WEEK and APO MONTH. This didn't help much on the performance.
    I am also planning to keep the ZGC_CALWEEK database table to be fully buffered and this may definitely improve the performance but I need to reduce the data base hits as less as possible.
    MANDT                           MANDT                           CLNT     3     0     Client
    TECHWEEK                           ZTECHWEEK                           NUMC     6     0     Technical Week
    FROMDATE_TECH     DATUM                           DATS     8     0     Date
    TODATE_TECH     DATUM                           DATS     8     0     Date
    APOWEEK                           /BI0/OICALWEEK     NUMC     6     0     Calendar year / week
    FROMDATE_APO     DATUM                            DATS     8     0     Date
    TODATE_APO     DATUM                            DATS     8     0     Date
    APOMONTH                           /BI0/OICALMONTH     NUMC     6     0     Calendar year/month
    The table ZGC_CALWEEK is in APO system, where the transfer rules are being executed.
    As you mentioned START ROUTINE, In the start routine Can I create an internal table let's say GT_CALWEEK with structure ZGC_CALWEEK and pull all the records (I have a max of 2000 records in this table) from ZGC_CALWEEK to GT_CALWEEK and Can I used the same internal table GT_CALWEEK in the transfer routine to read the TECHWEEK from internal table.
    Thank you very much again for you reply. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Siva

  • Question about how Cisco Unity Connections v 9.1.1 uses transfer rules

    I'm trying to understand how Unity hanldes calls using the transfer rules and greetings. I've got a subscriber whose standard greeting is set to send them to a call handler. Since the call is being transferred from the subscriber would it use the transfer rules vs the greetings? I've looked through the documentation but can't find a good explanation for how the system moves calls around. Thanks in advance.
    Billy

    Billy,
    It could use either one, transfer rule is matched first and can either point to greeting or another extension, if it points to greeting then you can simply play blank greeting and transfer to the call handler. Start by looking at the transfer rule and if it is set to transfer to greeting, look at greeting configuration. Notice there is alternate transfer rule and greeting as well, so make sure those are not enabled as they would take precedence.

  • Problem in mapping Infoobjects in Transfer Rules

    Hello Friends,
    I need your help regarding following issue:
    I installed ODS named STABILITY STUDY : INSPECTION RESULTS QUANT. DATA  (0QM_DS02) from Business Content.
    The ODS & Update Rules have been installed properly.
    Few infoproviders had been already installed at the time of implementation, hence majority of the infoobjects existed from before. Only few were new.
    Now when i tried to map transfer rules, newly installed infoobjects are not seen in data source.
    The data source is 2LIS_05_QE2 and few of the infoobjects not being mapped are:
    Sum of Target Value (0SUMSOLLW)
    Target Val.Available (0IND_SOLLW)
    Phys. Sample Number (0PHYS_SP)
    Inspect.Lot Origin (0LOT_HERK)
    Inspection Method (0PMETHODE)
    Plant of Insp. Meth. (0PPLANT)
    Insp. Meth. Version (0PMTVERSION)
    Can any one suggest me how should i proceed??
    Regards,
    Anuradha Vakil

    Dear Anuradha,
    Before installing transfer Rules or infosource first u have to install the datasource in source system and replicate it into bw.
    If u have done this already then u want to map some objects in transfer rules then u have to check whether those fields available in the datasource , If they are available then goto transfer structure click datasource/transfer strucature tab there right side box u can see the unmapped fields in black colour move them to right side then go to transfer rules map those fields to infoobjects.
    If the fields are not there in the datasource u cant do any thing just activate the transferrules.
    Assign points if it solves ur problem...........or clearly reply what is ur problem.
    Best Regards,
    SG

  • Unable to collect Update/Transfer rules Info & Data sources from BI content

    Hi,
    We are tyring to activate Infoprovider 0PY_CO2 from BI content by selecting the option - In data before. BI is unable to collect all corresponding objects such as Update rules, Info source, transfer rules and the data source for the selected Infoprovider. Only Info area and associated info objects are being collected for the installation.
    We are experiencing same problem whilst acitvating most of the info providers. However, in some cases, either of these objects get activated but not all the necessary objects that feed data to the Infoprovider (cube or multi provider).
    Also, Infopackages and Info object catalogs are not being collected for any objects activated/installed so fare from the BI content.
    We are trying to activate BW 3.5 content on the BI 7.0 environment. BI Content release is 703 and support pack level is 008.
    Kindly share any pointers to troubleshoot this probelm please.
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Shiv,
    For some Info providers, all associated info objects(including transfer & update rules and info source and data sources) are getting collected and got successfuly installed. But this is true for only 10% of the Info providers that we have installed so far.
    Remaining all the objects, we are unable to proceed further.
    Thanks
    Venkat.

  • Problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with sour

    Hi,
    I have a problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with source system EXCEL.
    The system does not react to changes done in the transfer rule coding. For FISCPER I have hardcoded the result 'BABABA' and still the results delivered are those from the CSV.
    Resetting the system buffers does not help. The problem is systematic in combination with source system EXCEL (i.e. not only 1 InfoSource).  Checking the active program Extras->Display Program shows the coding (result='BABABA') being there, but
    as stated, the system does not produce the result BABABA, but instead the result of the CSV.
    It seems as if the original version from the very first activation of the transfer rule program remains somewhere and continues to be used.  Does anybody know how to flush it out and get the system to actually use the coding appearing as the active program.
    I have posted an OSS note, but SAP takes it time to answer and I am under time pressure so I figured that maybe one of you know who to solve it before SAP does.
    Greetings and thanks,
    Martin

  • Strat routine code in transfer rules for the Extractor - 0CO_OM_CCA_1

    Dear SDNers,
    I have a scenario to implement a start rouine code in the transfer rulesfor the Extractor - 0CO_OM_CCA_1 , please give a light on this.
    Scenario:
    The extractor 0C0_OM_CCA_1 brings in Cost Center transactional data for costs and allocation into the SAP BI data warehouse. A cross reference table will be created in SAP BI for Profit Center. These tables will have CRM (CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT) Profit Centers stored in them.
    In the transfer rules for 0CO_OM_CCA_1, add ABAP code in the start routine to block CRM (CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT) data. The code will have the following logic:
    Check Cost center master data table u2018/BI0/QCOSTCENTERu2019
    This table u2018/BI0/QCOSTCENTERu2019 being time dependent, use the last day of the fiscal period from transactional data as the date to select from u2018/BI0/QCOSTCENTERu2019.
    Go to the Profit center reference table and identify if the data belongs to BSC Boston Scientific/CRM (CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT).
    Block CRM (CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT) data.

  • ABAP Guidelines for transfer rules & Update rules

    Is there any guidelines for abap when using it for transfer rules and update rules? I am looking for some best practise in this area.
    Thank you,

    There is no specific differences in the standards/coding procedure for Transfer Vs. Update Rulse.
    This can only come from a combination of requirement, design and experience! (in no particular order)
    for e.g.
    If the converions are the same for all data targets, you would use the transfer routine, start routine in the Transfer rules.
    If the converions are different for different data targets, you would use the update routine, start routine in the Update rules.
    Key concerns being performance, modularization, reduced effort and ease of maintenance.
    Not sure I have answered you question! Please get back if there is something specific you are interesed in (a scenario perhaps!)

  • Error : Activating transfer rules

    Hello Experts,
    I get the message "Error Generating Program" while activating the transfer rules.
    The detailed error message refers to RSAR245 or note 636217. Note refers to table row size being exceeding 1962 bytes. But my transfer structure row size is below 300 bytes.
    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sweatha

    Hi Sweatha,
    Sometimes I have experimented this kind of error when activating transfer rules. It seems that there is some content in the buffer that provokes this error. I suggest you to log off the system, login again and try to activate the transfer rules.

    InfoObject 0BASE_UOM of communication structure still being used
    Message no. RSAR741
    Diagnosis
    The deletion of the communication structure for InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 is not possible. InfoObject 0BASE_UOM of the communication structure is still being used. This use must be undone first.
    Concretely the communication structure of an InfoSource can only be deleted if there are no update rules for InfoCubes and no transfer structures for source systems for this InfoSource.
    System response
    Activity was finished without database change.
    Procedure
    Check the use of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 in the transfer structures. Delete all existing transfer structures of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
    Check the use of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 in update rules for InfoCubes. Delete all existing update rules for your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
    Afterwards, you can delete your communication structure for InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
    where as i have deleted all update rule for the infosource ZPOS_O13 . but still i m not able to change it .
    I have check ed it and it not lock in any req . so please let me know how can i proceed .
    Thanks in advance.

    hi Jain,
    you may need to check the transfer structures,
    right click infosource and 'change', click 'comm.structure'/expand,
    click 'transfer', move the 0BASE_UOM from left to right side,
    or if you wont use the comm structure anymore, you can right click infosource and 'delete comm structure'
    hope this helps.

  • Move Transfer rules from BD1 to BQ1

    Dear Friends,
    How can we Create and Move the Transfer rules from Development system(BD1) to Quality System( BQ1)
    Regards
    Ramana

    Hi Ramana
    Follow these steps to collect your objects in a transport.
    1. In RSA1, you have a tab "Transport Connection" on the left pane. Click on it and you will see various options, for Ex, InfoObjects, DataSources, DTPu2019s etc.
    2. Click on the InfoObjects and expand it, there you will see "Select Objects" option. Double click it and then a windows pops up. You need to put the object names and say Transfer selections.
    3. All you objects will be collected on the right pane. It might collect other related objects like DSO (if those objects are being used in that), the corresponding DataSource, DTPu2019s etc. If you donu2019t need them deselect them and then click on the "Truck" icon on the top.
    4. It will ask for a transport number, there you can click on the "NEW" icon and it will create a new transport for you. All your objects will be collected in that TR.
    To Move the TR
    1. Go to SE10 and select your TR (one u create above).
    2. Expand it and click on the Sub-TR. Then click on the Truck icon on the top to release the TR.
    3. Similarly release the actual TR by clicking on the Truck icon.
    4. Go to T-code STMS and move this TR to the desired environment.
    Thanks in SDN points
