UC320 - how to disable send ext. as Clid

Hi,
I hope, someone can help me:
I have installed a UC320w, use 1 Sip-Client and calling in and out is no problem, but I cannot manage to disable, that outgoing calls send the CLID Extension with them;
I have tried to manage it with the inbound rules, but even if I disable the checkbox (use 12345601 as calling line id) the extension is sent.
Any idea, how to disable this?

Hi Mario,
we don't have a phone setting to block it. One  workaround would be to have your incoming trunk (FXO or SIP) configured by your provider not to deliver caller ID.However using star code,  outgoing clid was able to block succesfully.
Please try the following steps.
From SPA phone go off hook and enter *81.  You should hear confirmation tone.
Then dial 8 or 9 to select your trunk and enter the called party number.

    I am using the Customization Wizard XI to customize our Adobe Reader package.  Under the "Fill & Sign" options, we want "Fill & Sign Tools" enabled, but "Send or Collect Signatures" disabled.  These options are linked together through the online services even though the Fill & Sign Tools aren't powered through EchoSign.
    Is there any way to disable "Send or Collect Signatures" but keeping "Fill & Sign Tools"?  The only way I have found is to disable Online Services, but this also disables the the "Fill & Sign Tools"?  We also like to remove "Get Documents Signed" on the welcome screen, but I can get around that by removing it altogether if need be.
    This issue is referenced here, but not answered. Disabling "Adobe Online Services" on Reader XI no longer removes them from the welcome screen

    Uncheck the links you do not want displayed.

    The recent update made a change in the Gmail app where it'll display an image for the sender in the main window. If you don't have an image for the sender (which is 100% the case for me), it displays the first letter of the sender's name in a big colored box.

    However, the Gmail app on my Verizon Galaxy S3 doesn't have the "three dots" icon which opens the menu. Was this something Verizon removed for some reason? Any hints on how to turn off the big colored boxes? I find them annoying and they take up space for no reason.

    The three dots is the overflow menu. The Galaxy S3 has a menu button. Overflow menu (three dots) equals menu button. >Comment deleted<

    The job you are looking for is called the MySite Cleanup Job.  It is a timer job, so you can disable the whole thing.  But that would disable processing of MySites for deleted users entirely, not just the email alert.  Unfortunately, there
    is no way to disable just the alert.  So you either need to disable the whole timer job or let the alert be sent.
    Also, just to clarify.  By default the timer job deletes mysites after 14 days (not 3) and only does this for users missing from a profile import ( which is normally only users deleted from AD not user disabled in AD).  You can filter out disabled
    users also, but it requires adding a filter to the profile import connection.

    Seeing that I want to get rid of Google, data hungryness I'm just installing Firefox OS on my Geeksphone Revolution. To my surprise however I get a screen saying that all geolocation data will be sent to Mozilla. I get the option to enable geolocation or disable geolocation.
    What I want, is to enable geolocation, but to disable sharing my geolocation with Mozilla. How do I do that?

    Ok, I fixed it. In the split second amount of time between the use of the dock and the game loading I was able to quickly quit the game. Only took me about thirty times :-)

  • How to disable iMessage for a specific contact/How to unregister iMessage from former device

    I switched from an iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S3. When my wife who still has an iPhone 4 tries to text me it still sends the message as an iMessage and I NEVER receive the text on my Galaxy S3. It still shows the little blue bubble next to my name when starting a new text thread. So I checked with about 4 other iPhone users that text me on a regular basis and I'm not receiving any of their messages either.
    If the iPhone users turn off iMessage the text comes right through. However I dont expect all the iPhone users on my contact list to turn off the iMessage feature just so they can text me.
    I no longer have my old iPhone. I traded it in at Best Buy so there's no way of going back in the phone to change any settings. The iPhone was wiped of all data and settings anyway before I traded it in.
    I took my wifes iPhone and deleted my contact. Then I added it back. Still shows my name as iMessage. I took my e-mail address out of my contact entry on her phone and it still shows my name as iMessage.
    I logged into "Apple Support - My Support Profile" to try to unregister my device as suggested in another forum but I can't get past the "enter your purchase date" page. It was a refurbished iPhone and the date I purchased the device didn't work. Theres no way I'll ever get the original purchase date since I wasn't the original buyer of that iPhone.
    Any suggestions?? This is an urgent matter as I NEED to receive text messages from my wife and other iPhone users. My wife is willing to turn off iMessage on her iPhone but I don't expect everyone else to.
    I need to find out how to unreigster my old iPhone completely from iMessage.... or find out how to disable a specific contact on my wife's iPhone from using iMessage.

    If you still have an iPhone handy and have the SIM card you used for the phone, then temporarily put your SIM into the other phone and go into Settings and turn of iMessage. If not, the only alternative that I know of is the Support profile, However, you may what to search the More Like This section on the right side of the thread to see if any of the entries there have a green checkmark meaning they are answered.

    Hello apple communites, I have a simple and hopefully simple to answer question..
    I am curious as to how to disable iMessaging for a single contact.  My sister when she got her phone number originally had an iPhone, she has since gotten an android and kept the same phone number.  However I am running into issues with text messages to her, my phone still thinks she has an iPhone and continues to send every text as an iMessage, resulting in a failed message.  I can easily hit the "send again as a text message" option and the message/picture sends as normal.  I however find this a bit fustrating, and have tried everything I can think of to attempt to disable this.  However all the online tutorials I can find regarding disabling iMessage turns the feature off completly, I don't wish to do that. 
    I have attempted to completely delete, (including all existing all texts and call history), and then re-add the contact, but that does not work either, my iPhone still attempts to send messages to my sister as an iMessge. Any help, if any, would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Your sister needs to disable iMessage on her iPhone if the iPhone is still available if she hasn't already done so.
    If she has, does she have iMessage enabled with the same Apple ID on another iOS device or on a Mac as was used to activate iMessage on her iPhone?

    Sounds like your friend didn't disable iMessage on his/her iphone before switching.  Have your friend do the following:
    Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
    Log in if not already logged in.
    Click on "edit products"
    Click on the "x" to the right of his/her old iPhone.
    Click "unregister"
    This should unregister it with the iMessage server, which will allow you to send texts as normal SMS.
    On your iPhone make sure you have Settings>Messages>Send As SMS set to ON.

    Good day, I hope your week is going well.  I recently discovered that my IPS sensors are listening for and accepting telnet traffic.  I looked at the configuration in the CLI, and it is disabled; however, when looking at the listening services via the Service account, I see that the sensor is indeed listening for telnet; please see below.
    Does anyone know how to disable telnet?  Do I need to modify the \etc\inetd.conf file in the Service account and then reload inetd to take effect?  Thanks.

    When Telnet is Disabled (which is also the default on modern versions of the sensor software), the sensor's firewall configuration includes a rule for dropping Telnet traffic:

Agent config files are sent to the Server by HTTP to allow them to be stored as templates/snapshots.
    I don't remember seeing instructions on how to make the changes you want: the quickest way to find out is probably to call SunMC support.

    This is probably a very simple process.  I just need a little direction.  Does anyone happen to know how to disable wifi on a MAC desktop when using an ethernet cable versus wifi?

    The Mac will send packets bound for the Internet to the Top-Most ACTIVE interface listed in the left side of the box at:
    System Preferences > Network
    If you set the 'Service Order' to have Ethernet at the top, whenever Ethernet is working, Wi-Fi will be ignored.
    Set Service order is available using the gear Icon at the bottom of that box.
    So all my Internet traffic is going over my Ethernet connection, even though Wi-Fi is still connected and nominally "active".

    What's the oracle product you are using it and if you want to avoid the digest authentication,you can remove the CLIENT-CERT defined in the auth-method of web.xml  in the application and it will either fall back to FORM based or Basic authentication based on which is configured in the application

    Aamir,
    Set the text item's Enabled property to False at design time. Then, using SET_ITEM_PROPERTY (see Forms Help), set to Enabled in the relevent part of the code on the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED triggers on your Insert and Update buttons. Similarly, disable on your Save button once the cnahges are saved etc.
