UC320W - Music On Hold Time Limit

I have heard in a few places that there is a 60 second limit on the MOH you can upload.  Is there any truth to this?
Thank you

Hi,
• The internal music on hold file is limited to 60 seconds.
• Each AA prompt file is limited to 120 seconds.
• The supported audio file formats are MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, and AIF.

  • Time Limit Exceeded in File - java- IDOC

    Hello,
I have an interface which reads a text file in XI and uses a java mapping to produce IDOCs in an R3 system synchronously, the interface was running fine for more than 2 years . Since the text file is larger than 20 MB, we are splitting into small text files (2mb each) for easier processing. While processing, each file will hold the outbound queue (SMQ2) until it gets completed. after 2 years of using this interface, it started giving errors in the queue (Time Limit Exceeded) for files larger than 1mb.
    Any hint ??

    Swarup,
increasing the RFC adapter time out from the visual admin has solve the problem,
    thank you for that.
but what I was looking for is a way to find out what could be the root cause, since it was running 2 years with (300000 ms time out) without a problem. Now I must increase this time out which mean my system is not performing well!
    Agasthuri,
as I mentioned, it was running fine with 2mb, now even 1mb cannot be proccessed,
    Thanks again.

My Ipod touch plays music but every time I open an app that I have downloaded it closes immediately.  This started happening after updating to the latest version of Ipod software.

Here's a couple things to try:
    1. Reset the iPod by holding the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
    2. Uninstall and reinstall one of your purchased apps. Sometimes this can rectify the issue.
    3. Connect the iPod to iTunes and restore it. New system software usually resolves the issue. Make sure you sync before restoring because a restore removes the data from your iPod.
Hope one of these works for you!

  • Music on Hold working correctly on incoming line on hold, but not working on another, hearing Tone on Hold instead

Hello, we are experiencing an issue where we have a local main number and a toll-free number both coming into the Cisco switch as PSTN incoming and routed to the same voice translation rule line. Two weeks ago we updated the Music on Hold (MOH) file in flash, first disabling the previous file. The new file appears exactly the same as the previous file, and we successfully set it through the CUCME portal. The new MOH file is playing correctly when a incoming user is put on hold when dialed in through the local main number. However, when a user has dialed in through our toll free number they are instead hearing a Tone on Hold beeping tone (I googled that multiple times to realize what it was we are hearing).  Anyone have any ideas as to why or how it could be working on one incoming line but not the other and how to resolve?

Not sure how the Express works but on the CuCM you need to go into the administration pages and change the MoH file number there.  I had this issue a few years back and changed the information there.  I also made sure the router was setup correctly with the incoming lines.  Make sure that the 800 number is not coming in on (1) T1 and the local numbers on a different T1, if you are using T's.  If not make sure you WIC card is set correct for hold music.

  • LP7.1 Recording Audio time limit

Okay I cant seem to figure out how to increase the time limit on recording an audio track on LP7.1 . Currently when I start recording I find that I only have about 31 minutes displayed in the Remaining Time.
I look at my "set Audio Record Path" settings and see that I have Maximum Recording Time unchecked. And drive holding the Recording Path directory has 36GB of space.
Any clues how I can increase my remaining time for recording audio tracks?
    thanks in advance,
    Noah

Un-uncheck Max Rec Time and put number of minutes you want to record in the field.

  • Multicast IP address keep changing on music on hold

    Hi
I am trying to set up multicast for music on hold on the cucm 9.
on the cucm, I enable multicast audio sources on MOH server, using base IP 239.1.1.1, and set increment multicast on " ip address"
however the multicast IP address keep changing, sometimes its 239.1.1.1, then after a while it suddenly change to 239.1.1.2 etc..
here is the config on our srst router ( which specify the multicast ip is 239.1.1.1):
is there any way that the multicast ip do not keep changing as its affecting the MOH at the moment.

    Hi Rachel,
If the Increment Multicast on radio button is set to IP address, each MOH audio source and codec combination is multicast to different IP addresses but uses the same port number. If it is set to Port Number, each MOH audio source and codec combination is multicast to the same IP address but uses different destination port numbers.

  • Music on Hold: Best Practice and site assignment

    Hi guys,
I have a client with multiple sites, a large number of remote workers (on and off domain) and Lync Phone Edition devices.
We want to deploy a custom music on hold file. What's the best way of doing this? I'm thinking
Placing the file on a share on one of the Lync servers. However this would mean (I assume) that clients will always try to contact the UNC path every time a call is placed on hold, which would result in site B connecting to site A for it's MoH file. This
is very inefficient and adds delay onto placing a call on hold. If accessing the file from a central share is best practice, how could I do this per site? Site policies I've tried haven't worked very well. For example, if a file is on
\\serverB\MoH\file.wma for a site called "London Site" what commands do I need to run to create a policy that will force clients located at a site to use that UNC path? Also, how do client know what site
    they are in?
Alternatively, I was thinking of pushing out the WMA file to local devices via a Group Policy, and then setting Lync globally to point to %systemdrive%\MoH\file.wma. Again, how do I go about doing this? Also, what would happen to LPE devices that wouldn't
have the file (as they wouldn't get the GPO)?
Any help with this would be appreciated. Particularly around how users are assigned to sites, and the syntax used to create a site policy for the first option. Any best practice guidance would be great!
    Thanks - Steve

    Hi StevehootMITS,
If Lync Phone Edition or other device that doesn’t provide endpoint MOH, you can use PSTN Gateways to provide music on hold. For more information about Music On Hold, you can check

  • Time limit on imovie

I am working with iMovie 11 for the first time and all was going well until my movie reached the 4:10 mark. Is there a setting I need to change? Any help is appreciated.

    No time limit.
But you'll need a lot of hard drive space to hold the file. And if something goes wrong you won't have anything unless you also record to the camera.

  • 3rd party sip device music on hold not working.

When creating that COP file, I added the music on hold feature, meaning Music on hold is supported. After the customer installed the COP file into CUCM, created the new device, and configured MOH to play Cisco's sample audio, the MOH does not work. All other features work including Enhanced Message Waiting Indicator, Call Waiting, and Shared Line Appearance.
When they create a new device in CUCM they follow these steps:
    1. Device > Phones
    2. Add New
    3. Select MH iOS (this is the 3rd party device that has been installed on CUCM via the COP file)
    4. Select Next
    5. Fill out the fields
    6. Select Save and Apply Config
Please provide the solution or input why it is not working.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • UC320 Music-on-Hold ... details... ?

    1) What's the real media format the UC320 expects for internal MOH files?  Knowing means we can prep the file beforehand or give info to services that provide professional recordings to customers, and minimizes conversion loss or distortion.  ... if it's uLaw, wav, 8 bit mono, etc...  it makes it clearer for the producer.
    2) Also, is there a way to extend the internal MOH playing time beyond 1 minute?   We have a new customer (dental practice) that often has 3-5 minute hold times and uses a service with their old system that loops at 3 minutes giving dental facts and special offers. They tell us 1 minute is not enough.
We havent used external input, which I assume would be "whatever's playing" ... but the customer wants to keep this clean and no added parts or iPods sourcing the MOH file.

  • Time limit on songs?

I am giving my iBook laptop to my daughter and I made a new user with her name ( to then delete my user name). I put the music from my iTunes library which she likes into the shared folder and then into the itunes in her user login account. The music transferred fine but at the bottom of the iTunes screen it gives the number of songs and then a comma and then says 3 days. What does that mean? Only a few tunes came from the iTunes store. the rest are from my own cds.

There's no time limit on your songs. The information means that in terms of time, you've got 3 days worth of songs. Click on the text and it'll break it down further into days and hours total time.

  • N8 50m 52sec video time limit

Why is there a 50 minute time limit when recording in 720p? Is there any way round this limit?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Or instead of NTFS, a quick fix would be a utility that restarts the recording every 45min with say, a nice musical note. The phone could give a warning musical note/vibration 1min before restart so the videographer could choose to restart early so a critical event is not missed. Thanks Le55ons, you have answered/reminded me of old limits.

  • Error while executing a report : Time limit exceeded

    Hello Experts,
i have executed a report  and it took long time and finally throw an error saying that time limit is exceeded ,
please suggest how to resolve the problem
    Thanks in Advance
    Nitya

    Hi Nitya H,
There are many resons behind Time out issue.
It is better to find where exaclty, our report is taking more time.
Below are the some of the bottle necks we need to monitor for time out issue:
    1) OLAP query generation time.
    2) F4 Search time.
    3) Read Cache.
    4) Write Cache.
Above features we can monitor @ RSRT transaction.
If OLAP query generation time is taking much time means ,pls regenerate the query @ RSRT.
For F4 search ,keep mater data as data retrival target.
For Read Cache and Write Cache increase the query memory @ RSRT.
Plse check the report and let me know if there is other bottle necks for query execution....
_Note:_ This is just a high level view but we can have many performance drills...like Free char ,complex calculated key fig...etc..
    Hope this may helps you...
    Cheers,
    Maruthi
