UCCE Record Agent Greeting Exaple Script Fails at first Run Ext Script Node

I am deploying Agent Greeting and trying to get the recording piece completed. When the example script gets to the run ext script node it fails.

I am running 9.0 for UCCE, CUCM, and CVP.....When I press the record button on CTIOS agent I get a 101707 error with somthing about the route. Then I do a script monitor I notice the flow stops at the first run ext script node
I have attached the PG Logs
Sorry about the vagueness in the first post just seeing if any knew of this issue with the example scripts.

  • Send to VRU and Run Ext Script

    Hi All;
I am adding a new vxml browsers and I need to send some calls (based on If statement) to those vxml browsers, so I added a Network VRU (with a new labels) and I added Network VRU script and at the ICM script, I placed if statement and based on it I am using Run Ext script which use the required Network VRU Script. But the problem I am facing it, that still the returned label for the CVP is the same label that is used with the original VXML browsers ! How I can resolve it.
I tried to set the default network vru (at the PG configuration) to be this new Network VRU, but still it is returning the original label that is used to send to the original VXML browsers.
How I can resolve this label issue and let the returned label to be 8333333333 instead of 8111111111 (ofcourse this in case the Run Ext Script was calling the new Network VRU Script, but if the Run Ext Script was the current Network VRU, then to return the label 8111111111)? How to do this
Kindly give a look for the pictures of the configuration and some logs that help.
    Regards
    Bilal

    Hey Bilal,
Ok, it's actually quite difficult to single out a gateway or a couple of gateways on a per-call basis 'the right way'. Once you add a gateway to your Gatekeeper, SIP Proxy or Static Routes setup, you'll have a round robin mechanism that's pretty much not changeable on a per-call basis.
If it's just to test these gateways for a limited period of time, try this :
    Open Configuration Manager - ICM Instance Explorer;
    For your Instance you should have one Customer Definition with the same name, add a second Customer Definition, i.e. 'Test';
    Now go to the Next VRU Explorer, add a new Type 10 VRU, and give it a (slightly) different label from the normal one, define the Customer as 'Test';
    Go back to the Customer Definition and assign your new VRU to that Customer Definition;
    Create a new test Dialed Number for your existing Routing Client and be sure to pick your 'Test' customer, continue to create a Call Type, Script and Network VRU Scripts as you always would;
Route the new Label only to your new gateways.
You would remove all of this configuration and make the new gateways use the same labels as the others once you are ready to put this in production, But it will at least allow you to route some calls through them.
Note: you may be able to do all the same things but using your existing Network VRU, just adding a new label to it for your newly defined Customer Definition. I'm not sure if ICM will pay attention to the Customer when picking a label for a Network VRU.
    Cheers,
    Kris

  • CVP Record Agent Greeting Failing

I'm setting up the default Record Agent Greeting application with CVP 10.0, UCCE 10.0, Finesse 10.5.  I can dial the entry point number from Finesse and it goes to the ICM script.  I hear the message "Please select the greeting you wish to hear or record..." I then press the greeting number hear the next message "Press 1 to hear the greeting, 2 to record..." and then it runs the RecordAgentGreeting VXML application.  It immediately states that a greeting filename was not provided.  Do I need to set the session data for this somewhere or is the agentname supposed to populate automatically?  At least I think that's my issue.

please share CVP and VXML application logs, but i think you must place agent greeting type variable in recording script. after CED just set greeting type.

  • Record Agent Greeting and the DTMF Phone Pad

    Strange behaviour here.
If I use a 7960 phone and press the icon to record an agent greeting, the Phone Pad pops up and I can press the buttons to navigate the menus. I can also use the hard phone. Of course, this phone has no BIB, so I connected another couple of phones.
If I use a 7961 phone, pressing the keys on the Phone Pad does nothing - but I can use the hard phone. That''s strange.
If I use a 7971, pressing the keys on the Phone Pad does nothing and neither does pressing the keys on the IP phone!!! I created a similar app outside of the Recording process and attached it to a Route Point and get the same behaviour. Must be a phone setting that is not allowing DTMF.
    Regards,
    Geoff

please share CVP and VXML application logs, but i think you must place agent greeting type variable in recording script. after CED just set greeting type.

    Chintan,
thanks for explanation it is very clear. I got stuck in below config
router sends VRU label to PG (this will be configured under network VRU explorer, and it will be for your CM peripheral), and label will be always appended with corr id.
Now it is passing the send to vru node and playing the menu. but now it is failured at
Run Ext. Script node (Audium, GS,Server,V), i am using the default media server (cvpcall server+vxmlserver+mediaserver)
when i checked the activity log of RecordAgentGreeting vxml application nothing is there, that means it is not hitting the application.
I am suspecting that what ever variables ECC created recently is not taken effect. becuase i found the following error in cvp call server logs

  • Agent Greeting

    Hello
i am hoping that someone might be able to help me with agent greeting. i have most of the components in place and working. i can record and playback agent greetings without issue in the recording script. my problem is with a live call the play agent greeting script kicks off but no audio plays and CVP complains about UCM ending the call instead of CCE. in reviewing traces and logs it looks like the play agent script is not passing the the agent info.

i added the send to VRU node and the script aborts the "send to VRU" node. should i see the FeatureParam step on the CVP Pim log. it looks like ICM is not telling CVP the agent info or greeting type. but i do have the call.agentgreetingtype in my queue script.

  • Play Agent Greeting

I am configuring agent greeting in a lab environment and to this point, I have been unable to get this process to work.  Using CCE 9.0 with an IP Communicator with Built-In-Bridge enabled.
Record agent greeting works just fine.  We can record and review the agent greetings.  We are able to locate the agent greeting in the media server and using our browser we can get execute the agent greeting.  When we execute the ICM script to play the agent greeting we see it successfully pass through the ICM node of Set Variable for AgentGreetingType.  We have a dialed number defined for call manager to PlayAgentGreeting.  In our ICM script we can see the calls successfully execute the PlayAgentGreeting DN and Script execute successfully and exit the PM microapp.
We are now at a loss of where to start to finalize this process.  Looking in the Dumplog for our CM PIM we see the following output.
I am no expert but this looks like agent greeting was successful however, we are not able to hear the media file.

  • Compliance Settings Adobe flash Player disable Automatic Updates Powershell Scripts fail

    Hello,
I have setup compliance to check and remediate if Adobe flash Player automatic updates is enabled by using PowerShell scripts.
If I run the scripts below manually on my pc they work fine, but if I run in sccm 2012 compliance I get:
    Setting Discovery Error
    0x87d00327
    Script is not signed
    CCM
I tried contacting the person that created the scripts, but didn't get a response.
    Discovery Script
    Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -force
    <#
This script will check if automatic updates is disabled and return a Compliant/Non-Compliant string.

    Hi Jeff,
You were correct, Default client settings was set to All signed and once I set to bypass, PowerShell Scripts executed.  But now I am getting:    If I run them both from PowerShell, they work fine. Thanks again for your help, Mark

  • Cant update to 10.5.8 Keep getting "run preinstall script" b4 restart

I dont know anything about scripts... I tried updating my mac mini and right before it restarts, it says that the install failed and says "run preinstall script for MacOSXUpdCombo 10.5.8"
I cant even update my iTunes to 9.2 (it says the same thing except is says "run preflight script")
I have no ideal what to do, i searched through the topics and nothing helped that i could find.
I retried it 4 times, I turned off energy saver and screen saver, i repaired permissions in Disk Utility, and i even downloaded the update form a link on apple.com instead of using the Software Update button.
Please help, im trying to update everything and want to update my iPhone but i cant (need an updated iTunes, i use to update it on my PC)

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Try using Disk Utility to run a "verify disk" operation. If that shows an error, restart your Mac with the shift key down to boot into "safe mode", which will run a disk repair operation.

  • Release Management - too slow to run my scripts

I've setup Release Management 2013 Update 4 to use powershell scripts to do my deployments (I found limitations with both DSC and Agent releases so went down the powershell route).
Functionality wise it is all working exactly how I want it to and I am quite pleased, however the big issue I have is that it is very slow.
There are 5 separate scripts in my deployment (run DB scripts, deploy wep app, copy client MSI, copy service MSI, send email) and when I run these via PowerShell they run very fast - in a couple of seconds.
However, when running these from RM it takes about 5 minutes. It seems as if RM does the following:
    Upload components
Say I'm going to do the Database scripts action
    Wait 30 seconds
Run the database scripts (this is very quick - I log the output so I know this for a fact)
    Wait 30 second
Say the database scripts have finished
Say I'm going to deploy the web app
    Wait 30 seconds
Deploy the web app (this is also very quick - I also log the output so I also know this for a fact)
    Wait 30 seconds
Say the web app is deployed
    ... and so on
Why are these 30 second pauses in there? It is making my release process slower than doing it manually!
(BTW - I have installed WMF4 on all servers, enabled PSRemoting, installed a certificate and set WinRM to run over https)
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi Mark,
    Thanks for your reply.
You added 5 Deploy Using PS/DSC actions in your release template to running that 5 separate scripts? RM need copy the component source package to component download folder in each Deploy Using PS/DSC action first, then run the script file which specified
in this action. So it will wait some seconds before script file be executed in each action. I test this scenario in my RM 2013 Update 4 release template, and received the same result.

  • Agent Scripts failing with ID 21406 - agent can't finish discovery

We have 500+ agents installed- all the same way.  I have this problem on only one.  It's a windows 2003 server, x64.  It's one of many we have monitored with this same OS.  The environment is SCOM2007R2 CU5.
The agent installs fine.  After installing, we start receiving EventLog warnings with ID 21406 on the agent host. The errors indicate Microsoft runtime error:  File name or or class name not found during Automation operation: 'oAPI.CreatePropertyBag'
or whatever it's trying to do for that particular script. JS does the same thing.  I easily reproduce it by building a simple vbs instantiating WSH and calling the CreatPropertyBag method.  It fails every time on the line with the CreatePropertyBag
    method.
    Things I've tried thus far:
     Reinstalling the agent
Upgrading the WSH to 5.7 (it was 5.6) and with the hotfix and reboot after
Validating the anti-virus.  Sysadmin says it's set to warn not block anything (it's Symantec FYI)
I also noticed I occasionally get another error: ID 11105 - MOM Consolidator Module (misspelled in original message) failed to save the state after processing and might lose data.
I guess it's only script failures because in the console, I see the agent in agent managed view.  Version is "Unknown".  In windows computer state view it shows up as Win2k3 OS, agent shows healthy.  I see some health objects and even some
performance objects. In a basic OS state view however, name shows as 'Microsoft.Windows.OperatingSystem,  Operating System version is blank and so is OS Version Display name which I assume all get populated via the scripts that are failing.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me on this.

    Thanks Alexey.
    1.  Checked permissions.  I found it hard to believe that this could be the problem since running a script as my own user outside of SCOM produces the same issue.  Nevertheless, did confirm LS has full control to entire install path for the
    agent.
    2.  I'm certainly not a com expert but I compared properties of every object I could find in the tree that was scom-related or scripting related.  Local System was set the same on this host as another host that is working.
    3.  I set trace level to info and I've been combing through it.  Unfortunately, the error output is no better in trace than it is in eventlog.  I still basically get only "File name or class name not found during Automation operation: 'oAPI.CreatePropertyBag'
There are other errors in the log but some of those are perhaps expected when it recovers from reboot or shutdown.  And as I mentioned, running the simple script outside of scom (as me and I'm a local admin) produces the same issue.
    Any more thoughts?
    Thanks!

  • UCCE v8.5 with CIPC8.6 agent greeting and Whisper annoucement

    Dear networkers,
We do have UCCEv8.5 deployed with CVP 8.5, CUCM 8.5 and CAD 8.5.
We have Cisco IP Communicators(CIPC) v8.6 installed we would like to implement the follwoing two features:
    - Agent Greeting
    - Whisper Announcement
As far as the documentation says, we need a phones with Built in bridge. Does CIPC support uch feature ?? Can the above two features be deployed using CIPC ?
    thanks in advance.
    Best Reagrds.

    Hi ,
You can deploy those two features with cipc 8.6 ....first you need to enable Built-in-Bridge in CUCM for the perticular cipc..
