UCCX 10.5 - Finess Supervisor Queue Data

Greenfield install of UCCX 10.5 using finesse.  The Agent desktop has a gadget that does shows the number of calls in each queue they participate in. The supervisor desktop does not have a such an animal and it would be nice if it did.  I wish the reportThe Voice CSQ shows the time the longest call has been in queue, but not a how many calls are in queue which is what the supervisor cares about the most.  If it is a question of real estate, get rid of the counter for agents in reserved state.  The CUIC Live Data Voice CSQ Summary Report
I also don't like that ALL of the queues show in this report, not just the ones the supervisor has responsibility for.  It should be limited by team.
On the agent detail report, I don't need to see a separate line for every queue an agent participates in.  The state is the same for all queues.  When you have 8 agents that answer calls for 5 queues, that is 32 lines giving redundant information.
I'm guessing the answer is going to be to modify finesse.... Not looking forward to that as I am not a web programmer.

Any luck on this?  Experiencing the same problem.

  • UCCX 10.5 - Finesse Supervisors see all teams, queues, agents, etc

    This is a new build using 10.5 and Finesse.  Every supervisor is able to see every UCCX agent, queue, etc. even though they're in no way associated with them.
    Each team has one supervisor and one queue.  Only the agents that are on that team have that skill assigned to them.  
    But for some reason, when (for example) the Customer Service supervisor signs in she can see not only her own team, queue, etc. but also every member and the queue for IT and Payments.  The payments supervisor can see everything for IT and Customer Service.   The Customer Service supervisor can see everything for IT and Payments, etc.  
    Have I missed a step?  I assumed supervisors could only see real-time stats for their team's agents and queues.  

    I just tried editing the reports that are displayed for the specific teams with no luck (as of yet).... For instance, I made a copy of the "Team Summary Report" (that is displayed on the "Team Data" tab), and filtered it for only one of the teams. I took that report id from the views (in CUIC) and applied it to that specific team's Desktop view (in cfadmin).... And I'm not sure if the view didnt work because it takes a while for this to update (15-30 minutes), and restarting the Tomcat Services is not an option right now, or if this is a result of the LiveDataGadget.jsp coding.
    Will let you know if this ends up working.

  • UCCX 10.0 Finesse Supervisor Calls in Queue

    I hope I'm missing something because this seems too easy.  How does the Supervisor see how many calls are waiting in queue in real time using Finesse?  I tried to use the Queue Gadget URL but I'm thinking this is only for UCCE and not UCCX.

  • Queue Data in case database is down

    Hi all,
    I am developing a servlet. How do I queue data from the calling client in case database is not accessible? I need to place a code checking in my servlet for this. Is it advisable to use xml file for queueing data or are there libraries you can recommend?

  • Typecasting message queue data for DQGoop Inheritance

    I made a test typecasting message queue data type and tried to access and modify my datas.
    It works in one way but when I try to copy something into my data labview crash...
    I guess labview realocates my data space.
    Does anybody have an idea how to outpass that thing?

    Your example crashed for me. I suggest you should use flattened strings instead of type cast. I made an example of how to use flattened strings for upcasting and downcasting class member data elements. After I made the example I noticed that it doesn't work with LV 7.1 since flatten to string has different functionality. I also managed to make virtual function calls.
    So the LV 8.0 example of data structure that can be used to implement class inheritace are attached.
    Also the broken 7.1 version is attached. The rest of the binary string terminal of the Unflatten From String in the middle of the vi should be connected to the unconnected terminal of the Concatenate Strings.

  • QRFC - How to read queue data

    When we debug a queue from <b>SMQ1</b> transaction, control will take us to remote system and we can debug the remote function module.
    The data in the queue are stored in Raw format, through debug LUW the data is converted into actual format and it is passing the data to function module.
    My question is which program or Function module is converting queue data into actual format. I want save the queue data into an excel file.
    Please suggest me the program name/ Function module name to read the queue data into actual format.

    RSTRFCDP program will display the outbound queue data in char format,other than charecter type values it is displaying the data in special charecters.
    When we debug LUW control will go to remote system and data is converted to actual format and pass to function module. I need the program/function module which is responsible for converting queue data into actual format.

  • UCCX finesse email queuing without deploying Socialminer

    we had a question as part of a UCCX upgrade to 10.5.
    Is it possible for us to use Finesse as an Agent to do Email queuing, without needing to setup Socialminer ?
    In that case, how would email integration/relay work ? how would Finesse connect with Exchange 2012 ?

    No - if you are using Finesse, you need SocialMiner to add all multi-channel capabilities (e.g. chat, email)
    If you are using CAD you don't need SM as it uses the legacy service for CAD.

  • UCCX 9.0 - Flexible open hours/dates

    Hi All,
    I’m new to uccx scripting and I need some advice...
    We currently have a number of live queues setup with hard coded open hours and dates. (i.e. 9am-5pm and closed for holidays)
    Now the company wants to move to a more a flexible model.
    The ideal solution is that we have a structured model, with supervisors having the ability to temporarily shut the queue (non-emergency messaging) or open the queue in and out of normal operation hours.
    Any advice/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    You need to define a bit more about what it is that you need.
    I.e.,
    How should people access the interface?  TUI?  Web?  Both?  Other?  Additional?
    How do you authenticate users to the interface?  User ID + Password?  Simple PIN?  Other?
    How do you authorize users to change the specific queue or department?
    However, I can tell you from experience the most popular solution for opening and closing a call center at any given moment, is to log in an Agent account that you check for in the script.  E.g., Agent name cs_closed, and your script checks their log status.  If they are logged in, then you close the call center.  I don't like this method because it burns an Agent license.
    I would suggest just storing a value in a text file in the repository to achieve the same thing, but instead of logging in an Agent to "flag" the change, create a simple little IVR that allows callers to "flag" the text file, and then your calling script just reads the flag.

    Outside of the popular option, there's holding values on an external source: databases if you have premium, web servers if you have enhanced or standard.
    If the times are variable but within a limited set of combinations, then you could just have a switch step switching which Time of Day block is being used based on that same text file solution above.
    You could also write your own Time of Day step by using simple logic such as:
    If (T[now] >= start && T[now] <= end)
    And then your start and end variables could be application parameters for which your admins can log into UCCX to modify.
    Anyway, lots of options here, too many to go through.  Do you have more specific questions?

  • UCCX 10.5 / Finesse - agent state error

    Hi,
    I am curently testing UCCX 10.5 and finesse agent desktop I have a trouble with finesse :
    A agent is in READY state, when a call is comming, the state change to NOT READY, it should be TALKING
    In the Agent state log is see NOT READY -> Reason code 32761, in the documentation I reed "Agent is logged in to the desktop or IP phone and receives a call that is not queued on the Unified CCX platform." 
    The caller is effectively an internal phone but the composed number is the CTI route point of the UCCX
    I have check with "Reactive script" function of the CCX Editor, there is not any error, the call goes well through the script
    Any idea ?

    I test using the "select ressource" box, that way I am using a CSQ and it's works. Before, I was just testing with a "Redirect call" box and that is not the right solution.

  • UCCX 10 - running Finesse and CAD simulatenously

    Cisco's documentation indicates that CAD and Finesse cannot be run at the same time and that one has to deploy/use either CAD or Finesse. However, the CAD service is never shut down when Finesse is activated and remains running. On my test server, I was able to have both, CAD and Finesse, running and have agents use both clients on the same server.
    Is there any additional information that explains in more detail the impact of running CAD and/or Finesse and why they can't be run at the same time? Or if they are, what the side-effects and possible negative impacts?
    After I have upgraded to UCCX 10, I would like to gradually switch users over to Finesse. But instead of forcing everyone to switch to Finesse at the same time, I would like to switch one department at a time so I can work out any issue with a small subset of users first. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Ans.For the scenario you mentioned, there is absolutely no problem. The point to note is that the Finesse services are activated/deactivated but the CAD desktop services are ALWAYS running. The only condition to keep in mind is that you can use ONLY ONE type of agent desktop at any time. Also if Finesse is not used and CAD operations are used extensively, it is advisable to shutdown the Finesse service.

    Actually, this can be done automatically by setting the Queue Table retention time. There is DBMS_AQADM.ALTER_QUEUE/ALTER_QUEUE_TABLE API to alter the amount of time processed messages are retained in the queue.

  • Queue data sharing between multiple LabVIEW Executables

    I have 2 LabVIEW Executables(Exe) where one Exe produces data and other one consumes the same. Is there anyway I can use a single queue reference for the same ? First Exe obtains the queue reference number and stores the reference number in V.I.G where as the second Exe read this reference number from this V.I.G. The error from the second VI dequeue was invalid queue reference.
    Is there anyway I can share the same data between different exes with the functionality of a queue ?.

    Plese note:
    If the server porcess goes idle all of its resource will be invalidated (including the queue) but a ref to the AE will still be valid. In this case the enqueue op will fail so you have to code to account for this situation. (been there done that )
    This smae approach will work in any network architecture where VI serve can be used. I used this approach about 10 years ago (minus the queue) to allow control of a factory floor from a laptop with a internet connection.

    1. LabVIEW Exe calling a data acquisitio thread dynamically(VI Server) and enqueue the data into a Queue with reference in VIG.
    2. Same Exe calling a TestStand Engine and one sequence inside that calling the same queue to dequeue the data.
    3. Remember that the LabVIEW adapter I use with TestStand is LabVIEW Run-Time Engine(Not development system)

  • Obtain Queue Data Type

    I am working my way through my first Producer Consumer vi and have two questions. 
    1. The data I am enqueuing is x,y,z acceleration samples of type Waveform. The snippet shows how I set the data type in Obtain Queue. It's rather ugly and disturbing even though it appears to work.  Is there a more elegant and beautiful way to set the data type?
    2. The sample rate of the accelerometer is 5120 Hz.  The DAQmx Read buffer is of lenght 1024 samples.  Hence, it takes 200 [ms] to fill the buffer.  I've set the metronome to 100 [ms] to ensure that the Producer doesn't miss any samples.  That means the Producer While Loop will spend a good portion of its time waiting.  Right?  Does having wait cost anything?
    In LabVIEW's ProducerConsumerExample.vi the sample rate is 10000.  The Read buffer size is 1000.  And the metronome is set to 100 [ms].  The sample rate of the device comes from the hardware device in the cDAQ.  The 100 [ms] interval comes from the PC.  Won't there be a mismatch?  I'd like to understand this before I set my metronome to 200 [ms].

    It isn't spinning because it is waiting inside of the DAQmx Read for N samples to be gathered.  That is not an instant data request.  It takes time to gather those samples.  That length of time is dependant on your sample rate and how many samples you are requesting.  So because it is waiting inside of the DAQmx Read, there is no need to add an additional wait.  Let the DAQmx Read limit the loop rate.
    It is actually just like the consumer loop for the Producer Consumer.  The reading of the queue will limit the rate at which that loop runs.  Therefore, it needs no wait.

    I installed new uccx 8.5.1. After all configuration I tried install supervisor desktop. But If it tried this on my PC xp sp3, I receive this error message:
    Error 1335.The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
    MSI (s) (5C:D4) [21:31:02:171]: Product: Cisco Supervisor Desktop -- Error
    if I tried install suppervisor desktop on windows 7, I receive error message: Error 2902.operation ixoFileCopy called out of sequence.
    Agent desktop and desktop administrator are ok, and I'm able made correct installation.
    Do you have some idea, how to solve it?

    I solved my trouble. Problem was in SplkWinPcap.dll file.  I don't know why was this file wrong. I used second metod for  generation msi files and all is ok.
    MSI file has correct splkwinpcap.dll and instalation is now  working. - (regeneration from web interface uccx didn't help, but second  metod helped.)
