UCCX 10.5 Outbound- CPA problem

Hi, I can't seem to get CPA back from the gateway.  Does CPA only work with POTS legs?  The phone I'm calling is registered via CME on the SIP gateway (2911 with 15.4.1-T).  How are UCCX Outbound labs typically setup?  Do I have the right IOS feature set (see attached screen shot of Feature Navigator)
I'm so close!  Please help.  Thanks.

It only worked for me on POTS legs, as Edward says.  I did try the
Call Progress Analysis Over IP-to-IP Media Session feature, but didn't get it to work.  The name implies it should work, maybe I didn't configure it right.
I also have an IP provider,  I added another router with a T1 crossover.

  • UCCX 7 outbound dialing, problem with area codes

    Hello all,
I'm just testing the outbound dialing feature in a lab, and have run into the following problem:
    I have following:
    outbound configuration:
    general:
Customer dialing time: start (9:00) end (21:00)
    dialing prefix - 9
    international prefix - 00
    Local Area Code: 44
    Area Codes:
    44 -> Europe/London
    34 -> Europe/Madrid
86 -> GMT-10 (for testing purposes, does not correspond to real China time).
Then, I upload a .CSV file into a campaign with the following information:
    Jane,Smith,00447111113007
    Jacky,Chan,0086611115002
    Juan,Pablo,0034611114001
The dialing works, the agent receives the call, accepts it, and then the call is made.
if anyone is interested, although it has nothing to do with the question itself, the calls are translated to other extension on CUCM to be able to make a call.
The problem is that, they are all treated as in the same AREA CODE, although I have clearly defined area codes for each of those countries.
when the call appears it shows on the CAD as BAAreaCode: +00060
Therefore the calls are made through to China even when it's midnight there!!!???
I know I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what?
    Many thanks for your help,
    Cheers,

    Hi Aaron,
Sorry for being so late to answer you. But I've done quite a few tests last weekend and have couple traces as well.
Apparently, the first time I added area codes, I did something incorrect, although I do not know what exactly, because now I've added area codes and it partially worked.
Area code: 4420 - Europe/London with Daylight saving
Area code: 3498 - Europe/Madrid with Daylight saving
Area code: 8661 - GMT/+7 NO Daylight saving
The first two Area codes (Spain and London) were correctly identified, In traces I could even see:
    this one is for Spain:

and the other problem is: outbound dialer does not even take contacts out of the campaign for calling if the server's local time is not between global start time and global end time. which should not be the case, as I understand campaign times should be applied to area code local time not to server local time.

  • UCCX 9.0 outbound progressive dialer doesn't

Using UCCX 9.0.2-10000 in the lab.  Attempting to set up demo for customer for next week.
I have the outbound dialer set up, but it's not attempting to make a call (never hits the gateway).  In pulling the MIVR logs, I'm seeing something strange (see below).  I tried using the new improved and completely impossible to use bug toolkit (why can't they EVER leave things alone that work, but that's another discussion for another day).  I can't locate any information about a bug like this.  The input file is straightforward enough.  But it will not outdial via the sip gateway.
I was going through the outbound troubleshooting guide, and when looking at the Sample MIVR Log Analysis, I was looking for it to retrieve the records as shown in the first step in that document.  It never seems to get that far.  Any input appreciated.

Upgraded to the latest build, but seeing exactly the same behavior.  However, continued playing with it, and the mystery cause is at least partially solved.  This is mostly a documentation problem.  From the documentation:
DialTime field is used to specify the time to dial a number for individual contacts on the current date. The format to be used for this field is HH:MM. For example, to specify the dialing time as 08:25 am, the dial time field value should be 08:25 and for 03:45 pm, the dial time field value should be 15:45.
Here's the thing.  If you put the colon character ":" in the middle of the time as a time separator, that breaks it.  Instead, enter the time as a 4 digit number in the HHMM format using 24 hour time, and it will work (or just don't use this field).
The same documentation also mentions the ability to have up to three phone numbers in the input files.  However, if you look at the contact import screen, it doesn't reflect this in the drop down (it offers only "Phone1") as a field choice.  My suspision is that this should actually just be "Phone", and that I can have up to 3 of them, but definately there is a huge disconnect between the documentation and how this actually works.
I can't mark my own reply as a solution, but there it is for anyone who is interested.

  • UCCE 9 Outbound SIP problem

    Dear All,
I'm implementing the SIP Outbound Dialer, the architecture is below
    1. ROGGER + Campaign Manager : (version 9.0)
    2. CMPG + CTI Server + CTIOS + MRPG + SIP Dialer : (version 9.0)
    3. CUCM ver 8.6
    4. Gateway + E1 trunk + IOS 15.1(3)T
The problem is SIP Dialer doesn't call out after successfully loaded calling list into the CampaignManager (checked the log in baImport). I checked the status of SIP Dialer that it Active all (please, see the attach file). But when I check the log on MRPG it said that "Failed an attempt to ACTIVATE the Peripheral's Routing Client ". I don't sure that this is the cause of the problem or not, I've re-checked configuration on MRPG manay times but nothing strange. Anyone found this problem before please, suggest.
    BR.
    Winai K.

    Hi,
Except for 15.1(x)T train other IOS versions do not have the capability of doing the CPA analysis (determining voice \answering machine \ fax etc) effectively.
As a result it is recomended to use above code.
    Thank you

  • Uccx 8,5 outbound IVR unable to load contact list intermittently and other ?

    Good morning
on our outbound IVR we seem to have problems importing the contacts page and sometimes when it does load it show the calls were successful, yet none of the numbers were dialed. when we import the contacts it will usually show the remaining contacts but on several, more than should be, it imports and shows 0 for remaining contacts and also sometimes it will load and we enable the campaign it will show 0 remaining on the report yet no phones ever rang?
has anyone had any issue with import, we are using the same file over and over so it is not a formatting issue.
    Thank you

Were you able to figure out how to pass the accountNumber or the First name from the import file to the IVR script?
I'm trying to do the same thing.

  • UCCX 9.0 and CUIC problem

    Hello all,
I recently installed UCCX9.0 and used CUIC. I've a problem with a CUIC report wich seem corrupted : Contact service Queue Activity.
When we try to tun this report we get this error :
"There are currently no parameters configured for this report."
    and then
"Dataset status is Failed (Database Error)."
Did somebody already get this error ?
Could someone extract this report and send it to me ? I'll try to import it on my side.
    Best regards,
    Jena Brunstein

    Hi
TAC has resolved the issue by connecting on the UCCX and do following:
To fix the non-working stock report, we exported it and added entity version
to both the report and report definition to overwrite the existing report
    definition.
    Hope it helps

  • UCCX 7.0: Outbound IVR call based on datetime

    Hi,
I want to know can I dial my customers (through UCCX Outbound Subsystem) from the dialing list where datetime is included and I want to dial them at that particular datetime.
The idea came from like example, I want to wish birthday to someone at particular datetime in future but the database entry can be at anytime.
I know the dialer dials the list of numbers simultaneously based on the number of ports configured, but how can I schedule them?
    Any help please?
    Thanks,
    Mijanur Rahman

Hi, I have designed a script for outbound dialing with 'place call' node and wth HTTP Trigger. It's working fine when i'm triggering that application from IE or FireFox.
Now my plan is to create an application using html or java which will watch the the database with timer function each after 30 seconds and will hit the http trigger only when the current server time will match.
Will keep you posted if I got succeed.
    Thanks,
    Mijanur Rahman

  • UCCX 8.0 Outbound Scripts

    Hi all,
With the Outbound module in UCCX 8.0, we were wondering whether it was possible to show agents more info about the contact they will be calling (when reserved for an outbound call) besides the 6 fields in the Dial List (account number, first name, last name, phone01, phone02, phone03)?
We were thinking along the lines of updating CAD's integrated web browser with more customer details fetched from the CRM database, or perhaps triggering a macro to pull and display the contact's record in another application...
Is any such thing available with UCCX? For those using the Outbound subsystem in UCCX -- are your agents satisfied with knowing only the account number and name of the contact they will be calling?
    Many thanks for your input!
    ~ Eric

    Hi!
I need to integrate the Outbound campaign with the Integrated Browser to open up contact information from the customer CRM.
In order to achieve this I need to use HTTP Action and on the Requested data I need to choose something that matches the Account Number we insert in the contacts file we upload to the campaign.
Is the Request Data = *Customer Account Number enterprise variable? Or should be the BAAccountNumber enterprise variable I have to use on the HTTP Action?
The BAAccountNumber don't show up on the REquest Data drop box...Can I use the other?
    I'm using UCCX8.5
    Thx in advance,
    Rui

  • UCCX 7.01 LRM service problems

    Hi,
we have installed UCCX 7.01 but we are having problems when starting Cisco Desktop Agent appplication. The error we get:
“A licensing error has occurred. Please try again in five minutes. If the
problem persists, please see your log file or the System Administrator
    for details”
I found this error in this document: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/cad_enterprise/cadenterprise7_0/reference/guide/cad700si.pdf
The document suggests CSA SYN flood mode should be disabled od CRS server, however CSA is not installed, Windows firewall is disabled on client.
There is also this error in Event Viewer:
LRM2005 Unable to retrieve server type profile from LDAP for LRM. Error (22:Could not find specified entry.).
LRM service is running, however i can not telnet to it via port port 65432, not even on localhost itself.
Could the error we get in Event Viewer be relevant to this problem somehow?
    Best regards,
    Marko

To resolve this issue, share the folder on the CRS server, and give the read and write permissions for the agents. In other words, the CAD needs to be able to map a drive to the ProgramFiles\Cisco\Desktop_cfg\Desktop\License folder on the CRS server.
    Check the bugs:
CSCsq52914: Starting CAD fails, error message - "A licensing error has occurred.
CSCsh76695: LRM server freezes and accepts connections but doesn't respond to client

  • JDBC Outbound Adapter Problems

    Hello
We have a problem with our Outbound JDBC Adapter. This Adapter writes IDOC's into a ORACLE-Database.
After a certain amount of records the procedure breaks down with the error: ORA-08177: can't serialize access for this transaction.
Here is the configuration of the adapter out of the adapter-engine:
    jdbc adapter java class
    classname=com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.ModuleXMB2DB
    mode=XMB2DB_XML
    ##Adress for XMB endpoint
    XMB.httpPort=8210
    XMB.httpService=/db/Receiver
##DB Adapter specific parameters (example for SQL-Server, see docu)
    db.jdbcDriver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
    db.connectionURL=jdbc:oracle:thin:sapxi/[email protected]:1521:gdmgbbw

    Hi !
I have make some test's today. I copy the adapter from our productive system P15 SP3 to the developers D15 SP6. Then we take the same message and send this from sap p42 to sap xi d15 sp5 to the adapter d15 (copy from p15 sp3) to the same Oracle database and it's working.
    SAP P42 - Orders - XI D15 SP6 - Orders - Adapter D15 (copy from P15SP3) = it's working Record > ca. 800
I think we have a problem in the patch sp5.
We found also some different size in the adapter files.
This are the jar- files with different size:
    SAPAdapterService.exe
    adapter.properties
    aii_msg_adapter.jar
    aii_msg_runtime.jar
    aii_rfcadapter.jar
    aii_util_grmg.jar
    aii_util_misc.jar
    aii_util_rb.jar
    inqmyxml.jar
    lcrclient.jar
    logging.jar
    I make tomorow, a test with a adapter sp4.

  • Maill.app constant outbound traffic problem

    Hi Guys
strange issue where mail.app is just sending lots of outbound traffic and saturating my upload bandwidth...
I can also see its the top ranker in littlesnitch for outbound traffic....
My desktop appears unaffected...its only my MBP showing this problem. Could this be some sort of syncing issue? It has now been doing it for a while.
    TIA
    Neil

hmm now its stopped and now i have constant inbound traffic? It obviously a sync of some kind but it took ages and i'm not really sure why it even needed such a large sync?
Ill see how long it takes to download whatever its downloading and then post the graph for future ref....
As a note I did do a quick packet capture and it seems to be only communicating with IP addresses registered to apple and it appears to be encrypted using SSL....so im not expecting anything too fishy....such as a virus or spyware

  • UCCX 8.5 Data Source Problem

    Hello,
I am trying to read and write information in db_cra database through CCX Editor but I can not see the data source. I was trying to add a datasource to see the db_cra database but the test connection always is failure, I do not see any message about de error so, I do not what can be the problem. I show you a picture of how I am configuring de datasource.
Someone can help me to solve this problem please.
Ok, I understand that I can read or write un db_cra, but I have to see de db_cra like a datasource rigth ?

You cannot add db_cra as a datasource; at least not without becoming unsupported. Informx isn't even a supported database in the compatibility matrix. The only route I can even imagine this working in would be a custom Java class or using an off-box web service that serves as a middleware. Building either of those are well beyond the scope of my knowledge though.

  • 4710 outbound smtp problem

I have a new ACE 4710. I am unable to get the mail server to send mail through the ACE. I have even set the ACL to any any both inside and outside. The mail server worked fine when it was behind the ALTEON load balancer.
Don't know what I am missing any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It shouldn't be any problem.SMTP is nothing but a LAyer4 traffic on port 25.
Are you simply routing the SMTP traffic through the ACE or Loadbalancing the SMTP traffic?
Is the ACE in routed/bridged mode ?
what is the default gateway on SMTP server?

  • SPA112 Outbound DTMF Problem

I am having trouble getting the SPA112 to recognize DTMF tones from my phone in AVT mode. Using InBand mode DTMF works for the most part, but there are some IVRs that don't seem to like the audio DTMF either. Currently my phone plays DTMF tones for 80 ms, increasing that value to 120 ms resolves the issue that I am having, but I don't have time to make that change and I'm hoping to find an ATA configuration fix to my problem. I have tried several other ATAs, none of which seem to have any problem with the DTMF tones at 80 ms. Why is the SPA112 different, are there any other settings I can tweak to make this work?

Updating firmware to 1.3.1  or higher will fix DTMF issues,
I updated firmware and now I can dial tones even from wireless phones. Use auto mode
    Solved!!
