UCCX 7.0 Scripts Folder

is there a folder in UCCX 7.0 that I could back up, where I could find all the scripts and audios that are part of the Contact Center configuration?
Since we're going to reinstall all the UCCX, and we don't have a back-up (and cannot do a back-up from the admin page) how can I back-up the audios and scripts? Is there a folder where all these things are stored?, What other things should we consider to back-up before reinstalling?. [The web administration page is not working, that's why we will re-install everything]

Hi,
all of the configuration, including scripts and prompts is stored in the configuration database of UCCX. There is no guarrantee that the C:\Program Files\wfavvid folder and its folders contain the most recent versions of prompts, scripts, documents etc. The only supported way of backing up and restoring data is using the built in Backup and Resotre application - unfortunately, it is accessible from the UCCX admin web, which is not an option for you.
I would reboot that server, hoping that UCCX refreshes the scripts on the file system (although I never knew why it does that if everything is already in the database), then I would zip up the whole wfavvid folder, reinstall UCCX and take it slow from there: importing documents, scripts, prompts.
There might be a problem with restoring custom Java classes, they should be available when a script referring to them becomes refreshed, otherwise it won't be loaded.

UCCX 7 system scripts

I've edited icd.aef, and when i do the system will not initiate the script (plays the sorry, experiencing problems prompt). If i change it back to the original, it works.
Now, I've accidentally overwritten the original and it won't work. All of the steps are exactly the way they were.
Can you edit the default system scripts in 7.0 ?

However, I did find the bug. It appears to be that UCCX 7.0 doesnt like any new script or even the original script opened in editor and saved back to the system default directory (without even making changes) fails after application refresh. It doesnt like anything in the system default scripts folder under wfavvid except the files which came along with it.
I was able to create, edit, save scripts in a folder other than system default, uploaded the script and it worked perfectly fine.
I don't know why is that, but it would have been great if you can save it in system folder and one doesnt have to upload the script, because I saw that it gets itself available for selection without uploading if its saved in there.

Startup Script folder empty - no Bridge CS5 Output to Web?

Something must have gone wrong installing CS5 Photoshop over CS4 Indesign!
Even after net-updating to Bridge 4.0.2 the startup script folder (Preferences > Startup Scripts) is empty. When selecting the Output Workspace in Bridge, there is no pane that let one output to Web Gallery or Contact Sheet.
I'm doing this meanwhile in CS4 Bridge, where it works fine. This Bridge version was coming with CS4 InDesign.
I downloaded CS5 Photoshop in April (I guess it's an International English upgrade) running it on OSX 10.6.4 on a new 17" Book.
Is there an upgrade coming, how can I achieve full functionality of Bridge CS5?

I did download and install the Photoshop CS5 upgrade by April. Since the Output to Web Gallery pane was not there at the Output workspace as well as all Sartup Scripts are missing at Bridge Preferences, I completely reformatted (actually changed the partitions) and reinstalled OSX 10.6.3, my 17" Book came with. Than I upgraded to OSX 10.6.4.
Now, before doing (screwing up) anything else, I installed Acrobat 9 and run the rather lengthy process of installing each and every upgrade to the latest version. Than I installed InDesign CS4 (version 6) and upgraded this. Finally I installed Photioshop CS5, only to still have the Startup Scripts and subsequently the output to web gallery pane missing. Of course, also the Twitter and Facebook stuff is not there. However, this is not my concern since I do not use them.
The upgrade to Bridge 4.0.2 didn't change anything, so didn't todays upgrade to Photoshop 12.0.1.
Please note that I do not use the CS Suite but upgrade Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop individually, which used to work fine for many years. And so I have Bridge CS4 and Bridge CS5 installed side by side. At the CS4 version the Startup Scripts and Output to Web Gallery does work as expected the CS5 version of Bridge is short of both. This shouldn't happen, since I installed CS5 Photoshop over Bridge CS4.
Actually two weeks back I tied to un-install both the CS4 Bridge as well as the CS5 Photoshop, and than to just install Photoshop CS5 without InDesign with Bridge CS4 being installed. The Startup Scripts and Output to Web Gallery wasn't there either.
Do you think I can get an other Photoshop CS5 softcopy somewhere that makes my serial number as well as the output to web gallery work? This would turn me back to be a happy photoshopper that I am since version 2.5... when I switched from Cibachrome in darkroom to Photoshop on Mac now about 16 years back.

Referencing the script folder when launching via LNK

I have been using ".\ blah blah" to reference files stored in the same folder as the script, but I ran into a situation where this actually referenced the user's home folder, not the script folder. I then found this code, which has worked well
when launching the script directly, but when the script is launched via a shortcut it fails.
Is there a modification that can be done to this code, or another option, that will consistently identify the UNC path of the running script?

Interesting. So it's not even using MyCommand.Path; it's dropping down into that last case (which I assume was written to cover PowerShell 1.0, but I'm not certain.)
Try adding this command to the function, for debugging purposes, right after the "$Invocation = ..." line:

That should give you a bunch of information that you can copy and paste here, so we can figure out what's going on.
Edit: One other thing; is this Get-ScriptDirectory function in the ps1 script itself, or is it in a PSM1 module?

R12 Upgrade: appsutil.zip does not contain scripts folder.

Can find only hcddl.sql in Scripts folder under peopletools

Installed PeopleTools8.51 with the installers as was given in the certification manual with HRMS and Campus solution9.0 Application on windows 2008 R2 64-bit.When i reached the the running of scripts step i can find only hcddl in my scripts folder.Why is it??Iam unable to attach the complete peopletools log file so,iam attaching only the errors that i have received.

Hi Nic,
When i installed it the first time i installed HRMS and CS9.0 in a folder that i created inside the PS_HOME.Then i realized that there are no scripts available under scripts folder.So i deleted the application folder and reinstalled HRMS and CS9.0 in PS_HOME.Even then i cannot find the scripts.I have enough disk space.Even i tried reinstalling peopletools but,of no use.Iam using peopletools8.51[64-bit] and i hope that, that is the right installer that has to be used in windows2008 R2 64-bit.I need your advise regarding this.

Is it possible to change the Presets Scripts Folder Location?

I work with Photoshop on a daily basis for my job, but my company has the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Presets\Scripts folder admin-locked (due to it's location in the Program Files folder. I've already asked IT, but they told me that they are unfortunately unable to give me access to that folder because my user profile can't be given admin-rights (due to company policy). I'd really like to change the location of the scripts folder so that I can add some scripts of my own to be able to use in Photoshop.
Is this possible or is there any sort of workaround?

You can always use browse to go to a different location - I know it's not ideal, but it does tend to remember that folder once you navigate to it. I would push your IT people about getting you access to that folder. I also work in for a company that severely limits access to program files, but I made my case that I need to have access to the Photoshop subfolders to do my job. They should be able to grant you access to just that folder.

CC 2014 alias not working in Scripts folder

Hi-
I bought a new laptop (Macbook Pro Retina 15") and did a clean install of CC 2014 using my existing account. On my old machine I had an alias in the Scripts folder to a central repository I keep of scripts for After Effects. When I made the alias on this new machine, After Effects would not load the scripts inside that folder. I did some additional testing using a folder of Adobe-supplied scripts, and again, they would not load when the path to them involved an alias.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Let say, I have 3 parameters.
1. Script FolderPath (Remote path for e.g \\RD101\ScriptSharedFolder Here RD101 is one server)
2. Script Name(StopAllService.ps1)
3. Server Name (RD45)
I want to execute a powershell scritp in my local machine(Test1) and in that script I want to pass the above three parameters.Now I want to excute the StopAllService.ps1 script into RD45 server. But the script is available in RD101 machine.
So What I want to here How can we do this ? I have script name and script folder path and target execution server name.
Pls giude me or give me the script.

You got 2 solutions for your problem:
1- If you have permission to run scripts in the remote computer without specifying your credential,
then, the first reply solve your problem.
2- If you have permission to run scripts in the remote computer
having to specify your credential, l then,
my solution solves your problem.
If the remote computer requires signed scripts only, you need signed script. Period. Or are you trying to break remote computer security?
If you need signed script, there's no psdrive that'll circumvent such requirement.
The problem is that the execution policy is set to "RemoteSigned". Using the URL explicitly tags that script as being from a remote source, and the policy blocks it. The PSDrive provides a local reference for the script. It does not
sign the script but the local drive reference may prevent it from being blocked for being from a remote source. I'll test that later.
Script signing is not and should never be considered a security measure. It is easily circumvented by running the script using powershell.exe, and using the -ExecutionPolicy parameter to override whatever the local execution policy setting is.

Hi, i want to ask something about script in after effect CS6. I have many script in my AE and I think its quite difficult to find the script i want. So, how to make script folder in AE or maybe group of script? So if I want to use the script i can find it easier....

Flash not showing up AFTER I upload the Scripts folder

I added a Flash object to a page in dreamweaver. The object
does not appear in any browser after upgrading to DW 8.02. The
flash object plays by itself. It plays when previewed in a template
(a dwt file) in the browser. However when placed on a html file
based on a template nothing shows up. I have never had this problem
before. Also, I am still having the same problem AFTER I added the
Script folder as suggested in other posts on this forum. Can
someone offer a suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Cannot find Modem Scripts folder under Liberary

I am to install a modem script for my Blackberry Bold 9000 phone. However, I cannot find the Modem Scripts folder under \Library folder, where it was supposed to be located. Yet I can still use my Sony Ericsson phone as a 3.5G Bluetooth modem accessing the Internet, which means there is the modem script working in my MacBook. Are you sure you are looking in the root level Library folder & not in the Library folder in your home folder or in the /System/Library folder?
To be sure, in Finder, hold down the command & shift keys & tap the "g" key. In the dialog sheet that drops down, type in "/Library/" (without the quotes & press the return key or click the "Go" button. Do you now see /Library/Modem Scripts in the window?

Removing Fetch Art in OSX Lion??? (no script folder) @%&$)#!

Ok, I'm new here and I made this account just to ask everyone about this. I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with Fetch Art and the way it sticks to your iTunes menu bar after the app has been deleted. Well, I'm running the most current version of Lion and I tried out Fetch Art, deleted it, and then saw that it was still in the menu bar. I'm pretty OCD, so I want it clean. I googled everything I could to find a solution, but most everyone says look in the "scripts" folder in the library. I did that. I do not have a scripts folder. I searched for "Fetch Art.scpt" too and again, nothing. How in the heck can I get this crap off of my menu bar????
I will dance at the wedding of any kind soul that helps me with this.

Also, is the iTunes script folder hidden in Lion? like the Library folder? Maybe its a multiple user issue with the folders or something. The script file is not in the plug-ins folder either. I'm sure someone else has had/has this problem.
I just thought of something:
I read somewhere that if you've never used scripts before you don't have a script folder in itunes, so, could I make a scripts folder, download the Fetch Art script and put it in the new folder, then delete it? would that remove the menu bar icon? Just a thought.

Scripts folder isn't in site root

I recently added a .flv file to a web page and noticed that DW created a script folder in the following location.

How to adapt UCCX "BaseLineAdvQueuing.aef" script to ICM

Hey Team,
I am interested in using the UCCX "BaseLineAdvQueuing.aef" script as a template to replace my current callback app which relies on Cisco Outbound Option. However, I am having trouble replacing "Contact Service Queue" and Select resources with ICM agent queuing. I can pass Enterprise variables about queue times and placement, but how can I pass the call back to ICM for delivery to Skill Group agent. I'm guessing that I need to break the UCCX script into separate VRU scripts. After X number of minutes, matching wait time announced to the customer, placeCall to a DN/ICM script that has the Select and Queue to Agent Node. Please advise if there is a more efficient way.

The biggest drawback is the internal DNC in Outbound Option. If a customer requests to be placed on the DNC, we currently write it to a webapp database, then out to a DNC append file for baImport. Callback_Out campaigns would not be able to dial the number back if they, or someone with the same number, request a callback from a number on the internal DNC list.
I realized today that our best option would be delete the internal DNC and not use it anymore. We will upload the webapp database to our DNC solutions provider and scrub outbound campaigns with it along with the National and Wireless DNC lists. We will also update any Dialing List records with "CallStatusZone=P" or "CallStatusZone=R" to "C" if they are in the webapp DNC database on a daily or weekly basis.
For the future scripts involving UCCX to ICM, I think I'm just going to use the "placeCall" function to a DN which points to an ICM script for the skill group necessary.
