UCCX 7 | Unable to Install TAPS [.exe] File

I am trying to install TAPS [.exe] file on UCCX server downloaded from CUCM, But getting the following popup box error:
"Error opening installation log file.Verify that the specific log file location exist and is writable"
Any help on this ?

Whether this is your issue or not, you really should be running one of the SRs. If you have a strong reason not to, I understand, but if you don't, install at least SR1, and try again. Also, that's not a supported CUCM version. That could be your issue as well.

As per the pop-up help page, I've added

(10.6.8) - unsupported I know - with the same result.
Do I really have to use Internet Explorer? Urgh!

Is that what you mean by trusting the ZCM CA?
Perhaps this is why Firefox 9.x is not a supported browser though I
thought that was more to do with Mozilla treating major version numbers
as minor ones? Gee if only Firefox hadn't automatically upgraded itself
from 8.x to 9.x!

Unable to install "InstallESD.dmg" file from OS X Mounstain Lion?

Unable to install "InstallESD.dmg" file from OS X Mounstain Lion, i've downloaded OS X Mavericks and installed on other machine. However, i took backup of "Show Package Contents" before installing.When i try to install ""InstallESD.dmg" file some other Mac machine. When i double click on it its open Packages folder instead of installer.
Please suggest me, how can i install OS X Mavericks for My Mac machines.

Unfortunately with OS X Mavericks you can't use the InstallESD.dmg file as an installer. You have to use either DiskMaker X 3.0.4 or Mavericks Bootable Disk Creation Tool or do an Internet search for the Terminal command that can be used to create a bootable Mavericks installer on an external drive (e,g, USB thumb drive).
You will need the Install OS X Mavericks.app from the Mac App Store to use with all of the above solutions.

Unable to install any EXE error 0xc0000135

I have a client with a messed up SBS 2011. I am trying to determine if it can be fixed or needs to be rebuilt. It started with failed ShadowProtect alerts. I found I could not repair it and had to manually remove it per Storagecrafts instructions. A reinstall
alerted me to the EXE error 0xc0000135. I found I could not install any EXE files. I have scanned for viruses and did not find any.
Any ideas?

I agree with Al. The most common cause for 0xc0000135 error may be the .NET Framework. Did you install .Net Framework? Or please use following tool to check the integrity
of the .NET Framework.

sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files, and also use
SBS BPA. Any find?

Unable to install VCTRL_PCAPP_LA_2_01_04.exe

I just completed downloading VCTRL_PCAPP_LA_2_0_04.exe and after executing the file, I get the error "The program is unable to install your files, probably because of a security setting on your computer. Temporarily disable your Windows or Virus Protection security rights before trying again". I am using Windows XP SP3 and logged on as administrator with all the privileges. Symantec Anti-virus was disabled and Windows Defender. What am I doing wrong?

Try right click on the exe file then select run as administrator. See if that makes a difference.

Unable to install "vcredist_x64.exe"

Team, My attempted installation of Autodesk Revit is erroring-out because I am unable to install one of the prerequisites, "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable (x64)" (vcredist_x64.exe). I get error 1603:

I am running Windows 8.1 (64-bit, x64) on a Dell laptop with 16GB of RAM and 500 GB free on disk.
As a workaround, I attempted to install vcredist_x64.exe directly from the support.microsoft.com website, but this generates a different error:
"Failed to install vcredist_x64.exe Error 997.Overlapped I/O operation is in progress"
I have anti-virus turned off, and I have turned off auto-backup software. I also went into Programs and Features and uninstalled "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable" and "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable".
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Error 1603 is a gereral error which is hard for others to troubleshoot, this error is the same accross some products, for example, you can see this .NET Setup blog about 1603:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2005/08/01/446328.aspx
So I cannot find the reason of 1603 but I know the error related to 997 you showed above, please see this blog:

Please follow the troubelshooting steps on the above blog to see if you can find the same error first.

Why won't my cs6 software disc install, no exe files to be found?

I am trying to install my new cs6 software that I have purchased. I have loaded the disc and my autoplay does not work even when I go in and instruct it to install software, I have searched through all the files on the disc and can't find any exe files. According to the pdf on product installation there should be a Set-up.exe file. I can't find this anywhere or anything else that looks like an installation file????? help

I just recently bought the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium
and would like to add some of the cool user products found in adobe
exchange, but I am unable to install. Here is the message I got on
the last one I tried for a Dreamweaver flyout menu:

Except for self-extracting .zip files and other self-extracting compressed files, you cannot install or use .exe files on a Mac outside of either Boot Camp, which won't work on your computer, or an emulator such as Virtual PC. Self-extracting .zip files can be opened with StuffIt Expander on a Mac.

Where can I find the "install.flashplayer" exe file after downloading it

I successfully downloaded flash player for Firefox 24 several times (with no error messages), but I can't find the exe file anywhere. Where is it? I uninstalled a previous Flash Player version with Windows uninstaller by mistake, and now I don't have any flash player. I can't tell if javascript is enabled. My Windows 7 64-bit system requirements are met. What can I do? I've followed the Adobe instructions, but nothing I've tried has worked. Can anybody help?

Downloads usually go to the Downloads folder. Try downloading it again from

Unable to run an exe file from a Servlet

I am not able to run a Servlet that calls an exe file using the following code. trial.exe is was built from a C program and it is simply a program that creates a text file with some content. I am using Tomcat 6.0 and JDK 1.5 on a Windows XP.

Before running the code on Tomcat I've compiled the code above in a simple java programe and it executed without any problem.

Then with Local System Account, selecting “Allow service to interact with desktop”.
this time also, no luck. Can somebody help me on this please ?

I guess the problem is that the installer runs on a 32 bit JDK which is not the default on your machine. You can try the jar installer.
