UCCX 8.5 - Downloading Prompt Recordings

Hello -
I am in the process of changing some of the prompts in our UCCX system. Before uploading the new prompts, I wanted to download copies of the existing prompts. The problem I ran into is - - - when I select download from prompt management, the file will launch in Quicktime but there is no way (that I found anyway) to save a copy of the prompt. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you G.
By changing the playback device from QuickTime to Windows Default, I was able to right-click and select Open Containing Folder.
Conversely, I was only able to download the html image of the folder in Prompt Mgmt while QuickTime was the chosen player.

  • Can not open file download prompt in portal web app.

    Hi folks,
    I am migrating existing Struts app into portal web app and currently stuck on the following problem.
    In existing app, Struts action calls servlet that generates excel file, sets response headers:
    response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
    response.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename=thename.csv");
    that brings up "file download" prompt window.
    In portal app, the same code writes excel file content into browser window instead of the prompt.
    Has anyone had to deal with similar problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Alex.
    Version of portal used is 8.1 SP5
    Struts - 1.1

    Problem is resolved. For those who might be interested - specifying redirect=true on forward to servlet did the trick.

  • How do I stop firefox from pre-downloading a file during a file download prompt?

    I use DownThemAll as my download manager for files generally over 10MB, as my internet connection is generally too slow for firefox to download a file larger then this without firefox "finishing" a download before it's complete, corrupting the file. This never happens with DownThemAll.
    For some sites, either there is no download link to right click or it starts automatically, launching the download prompt. Firefox's internal download manager automatically starts downloading the file (not visibly, but in the background) before I can choose to use DownThemAll from the prompt instead.
    This wastes bandwidth. Even worse, some hosting sites have randomly generated download gates for each session that expire after disconnection or limit you to a single download in a given time frame. This means that I effectively can't use DownThemAll on certain websites because firefox's own download manager steps in and gets in the way.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    The testing enviroment is : server1 with all CCA resources including DB/BEA/FTP and server2 with CCA Call Center Server resource.
    When upolad a prompt from server 1, the prompt are correctly uploaded to this server (FTP Storage) but not transferred to server2.
    The FP7 hostmanager logs report following error:

    FTP setting into NM are correct, if I ftp from command line from server2 to server1 , ftp access ok (same LAN).
    In addition I got difficults to stop Hostmanager recource from NM, I always kill from task manager.
    Anyone report same issue on FP7 ?
    Thanks and regards

    CCA will not create folders on the ftp server... be sure the folder structure is intact... and create any folders where necessary.

  • Send image to browser with cfcontent not download prompt

    I'm sending an image to be downloaded using cfcontent
    <cfheader name="Content-disposition" value="attachment;filename=#getit.file#">
    <cfcontent type="image/jpg" file="#physicalpath#\#getit.file#">
    Can I have the image sent to the browser instead of a download prompt?

    If the image isn't accessible directly via HTTP, you can use CF to serve it. Your CF page would have the CFCONTENT tag as you showed in your original post, then you'd use IMG tags in other pages pointing to that CF page:
    <img src="myimage.cfm?id=whatever"/>
    You wouldn't need the CFHEADER to specify it as an attachment, though - that's only for when you want to prompt the user to download a file without having it handled natively by the browser.

  • UCCX: script to automatically delete recordings

    Ever since we upgraded form 8.0.2SU2 to 8.0.2SU3, we noticed that Cisco disabled file deletion rights for the uccxrecording account. In SU2, we could psftp to the server and automate download of the files and deletetion of the files. In SU3, uccxrecording doesn't have rights to delete recordings.
    The only way is to manually SSH as admin and issue "utils uccx recordings purge". I don't think I need to mention how inconvinient this change was. I tried using plink to automatically SSH to the server to issue this command, but because of how Cisco OS Unix Shell is designed it doesn't work.
    Has anyone found any other solution? (apart from going with CR software)

    I have the same issue, I managed to automatically save my recordings and manually delete them. Have you found any way to query the available space and automate this task?

  • Download Connect Recordings, Audio but no Video

    Hi All
    I am using the https://www.example.com/p10101010/output/filename.zip?download=zip method to download recordings from our Connect platform. (note: i am aware of the "make offline" option but this is not a good solution for me)
    so, I get a .zip file with some .flv and .xml files but there only seems to be audio content, no video. The file i'm playing is the cameraVoip_0_2.flv which gives me audio, also the recordings i'm trying to download are 1.5 to 2 hours long so i was expecting much larger files than the ones that appear
    from looking around the various forums it seems there should be a "screenshare.flv" file present in the downloaded zip, but its missing from my .zip... screenshot below
    I have also used the Adobe Desktop client to "fetch" the files for local play back and although the quality is not great, they would be fine for my purposes.  However i can not locate the file(s) on my PC, Does any one know the path which the desktop client uses to save the files locally?
    I dont think I am alone in having trouble with this issue of downloading recordings, but I have searched extensively for a fix...but no joy   :-/
    thanks in advance
    Dave

    Hi Dave,
    Regarding the screenshare FLV; this is only present if you have used screensharing in the Meeting you recorded; it is not present by default. How was the video brought into your meeting room, via the camera pod or other?
    Is your Adobe Connect site on-premise (hosted yourself) or hosted by Adobe? If the latter, I can take a look at our logs and see what happened here, just send me a private message with your room URL.
    As for where the Adobe Connect Desktop offline recordings are stored...
    On Windows XP its here: C:\Documents and Settings\user-name\Application Data\com.adobe.connect.desktop\Local Store\
    On WIndows 7 it's here: C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.connect.desktop\Local Store

  • UCCX 8.0: Missing call recordings

    Hello,
    I never had any issues on call recordings and archiving before. Calls were recorded fine and then archived/exported to a local server every week as wav file.
    But recently I have noticed that some wav files that we store are 1 KB in size, which ofcourse cannot be opened or played. And even for one day we only got a total of 3 wav recordings, which is not possible as we receive hundreds of calls a day.
    So far its rare, but I really need to know what is causing this? server storage? network issue? high utilization of server?
    or something else. We had a total of 8 Agents and just recently we increased them 16.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Essam,
    Reference : UCCX 8.5 SRND page 44
    The agent call recordings are stored on the hard drive of the Cisco Unified CCX server with agent data store locator records pointing to the actual recording files. The call recordings in Cisco Unified CCX are stored in a raw format that is only playable using the CSD Record Viewer. The CSD Record Viewer shows 7 days worth of call recording as well as those tagged for 30-day extended archiving. The CSD Record Viewer also provides the supervisor the option to save selected individual recordings into a .wav format in a specified folder.
    The amount of disk storage allocated for recordings on a single server non high availability deployment of Cisco Unified CCX is 2.6 GB. On a two server high availability deployment of Cisco Unified CCX, the recordings are alternated between the two servers in a round robin fashion to provide load balancing and redundancy. Hence the amount of disk storage allocated on each server is 1.3 GB.
    The recording capability of Cisco Unified CCX is not intended for usage as a permanent recording archival solution. However, an export utility is also available to bulk export all recordings into a .wav format. The export utility has no ability to specify selected recordings and will export all recordings on the Cisco Unified CCX server. System administrators could build their own customized command macros or process that would perform regular (at least weekly) exporting of the recordings for permanent archival of agent call recordings.
    Hope it helps,
    Anand

  • Flash player download prompt won't go away

    When viewing a certain web page that features movies, I get a prompt that reads "Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player. Do you want to download it now?". Clicking "OK" leads me to the Adobe download page (apparently legitimate), and, after going through the download process on three separate occasions (again, apparently successfully), I still get the prompt. Not a huge problem, admittedly, but annoying.
    Any helpful hints?

    I too am having the same problem. both my flash and shockwave players are fully up to date and confirmed on the adobe page.
    Really not sure why. My mate who has a G5 iMac has the same problem on the same site. Is it a Leopard thing?
    We are web developers, and we actually made that site, and the .swf exported was made to be compatible with version 5. so not sure what the problems is. Just annoying.

  • CS5 download prompting for product disk

    I've recently upgraded to CS6 on my desktop and, as is my custom, wanted to install CS5 on my notebook. The installation process is prompting for the CS5 disk, which I don't have since I downloaded the program. I've checked for solutions here and elsewhere, but most simply mention copying installation files to the hard drive, which I've done. I've also tried installing as a trial, but it still prompts for the CS5 disk.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Uninstall everything Adobe on the system, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, start out with a clean slate. You have installed something that has introduced an invalid reference to anotehr drive or a specific installer package and your install wants to substitute/ overwrite that part and just can't find the source.

  • File download prompt appears in "Do not close" IE9 window

    Forgive me for my lack of Oracle terms because I am not with our Oracle support team.  I am with the general support team.
    We are on E-business 11i  We recently upgraded to IE9 and Java 7 update 45. It seems now when users try to export or download a file from a screen the save prompt appears as the typical save bar at the bottom of the IE9 window that is in the background that says "Do not close this window".   This is very confusing to the users.
    Is there some settings in IE9 that are causing the prompts to go to that window that no one looks at?

    which version of OBIEE/OBIA you are using?

  • Netscape Browser Forcing Download Prompt with .jsp

    My apologies in advance if this topic has already been covered. Here is the behavior I've come across and can't resolve:
    When a user with an IE browser visits my site (i.e. http://www.mysite.com), the default page is loaded - no problems. With Netscape, the user is prompted to download. However, if the Netscape user types the full path to the default file (i.e. http://www.mysite.com/index_new.jsp) there is no problem.
    This would lead me to think there is a problem with my deployment - but I can't solve it.
    I'm using Tomcat 3.2.1 with the isapi filter. In the server.xml, I've set up a context to my server's root:
    <Context path="/"
    docBase="d:\root"
    crossContext="true"
    debug="0"
    reloadable="true"
    trusted="false" >
    </Context>
    In my web.xml file in d:\root\web-inf I've defined a <welcome-file>. Under IIS I also have a default page for the web root.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks - David

    Sorry, to clarify the default file is index_new.jsp - the underscore was lost when it was underlined.

  • UCCX Pre-Select Agent prompt the Agent's ID

    Hi All,
      I'am Testing UCCX 7.0, and create the script like ICD script. If use 'Connect' or 'Select Resource' UCCX will find the Agent
    direct. We wanna kwon how to insert a prompt, prompt the Agent's ID to customer  before agent pickup the phone.

    The Select Resource step will only produce a User object.
    I made an assumption that you would be able to convert the User object to a string.
    You would use the ?.getId() method on the User Object to get the username of the User.
    Of course, your AD team could have user id's setup as numbers instead of names.  But regardless, this will still work.
    Additionally, I don't know why I didn't mention this originally, but there is a builtin process for assigning prompts to Agents, and it's managed with the spoken name upload script.  If you were to use that feature, then you would get the Agent's recording (their spoken name, or whatever they choose to record) via the Get User Info step.  And because the Get User Info step requires a User Object, and your Select Resource Step produces a User Object, you should be good to go.
