UCCX 8 Reporting - Limit Outbound Calls to True Outbound
Hello,
We're running UCCX 8 Premium and had an interesting question. The outbound report seems to include any number dialed from the Agent Extension. Is there anyway to limit the reporting so it only shows outbound calls as calls that start with 9? (IE Calls that go to the PSTN vs internal calls.) The agents tend to do a bit of parking and this is messing up the outbound reporting.
Thanks!
Only if you modify the report to add an additional filter via the stored procedure or Crystal. The general concept of custom reports is somewhat explained in the Historical Reporting Administrator and Developer Guide. It doesn't hold your and through it though; I suggest finding yourself a DBA or Crystal Reporting resource before attempting this.

UCCX Agent Status when making a Outbound Call
Hi Need a little Help ! Advice with the Above subject matter.
I have a customer, who is running reports with Historical reporting however the reports do not give a True reflection of Agents status.
i.e. if the Agent makes an outgoing call the Reports show the agent as being not ready.
I would like to know if it is possible to change how this is reported of if it is possible for the agent to add a note when on a call which would be reflected in the Historical reports.
Can we change the state it shows when an agent is on an outbound call to show "Outbound Call" instead of "Not Ready" as it currently shows ?
Cheers
CharlesHi Charles
We have raised the same problem towards Cisco a long time ago. The fact that an agent talking is reported as "Not ready", instead of ex. "Talking Out" is not only a problem in HR, but also in some steps of scripting, since the agent is infact on the system and is anything but "Not ready".
Ex. you could check to se if any agent are logged in to CSQ, before selecting resource. If agents are logged in, you could check to see if number of agent logged in = number of agents not ready. If this is true, then no agents are available to answer call and another CSQ could be selected.
But now since an agent talking is reported as "Not ready" because he's talking, the check for agents logged in = agents not reayd might be true, causing script no to work as intended.
So for many reasons an agent talking should be "talking" and not "Not ready". I haven't heard about any workarounds on this agent state, but I do know that Cisco has been informed on this isseu and did recognise that it would make sense to implement but I don't know when this could happen. If not in verison 8.5, then perhaps in ver. 9.
You might be able to pull something from the DB to show correct agent state, but thats not "out of the box"

UCCX HR Report for Outbound Calls
Hi,
We are using UCCX 9.0.
In Historical report we able to get the report for outbound call also.
The issue for the Outbound is calls which are not answered by the remote party There is also a call duration though the CUCM CDR shows zero seconds and the Agent Call Records in CAD shows the call and unanswered.
Because of this we are not able to identify the matured calls & non matured calls for the outgoing.
Is there anyway to capture unanswered outbound calls from Historical reports
Thanks,
PaulI must say that I had similar problems with reports for outbound calls on our CC system...after some writings with TAC we concluded that reports for outbound calls in CC system are much more less informational versus inbound calls. So what I want to say is that probably your reporting is working fine and there is just no info for outbound calls which can be utilized and be usefull for you in your reports...

UCCX Reports: Outbound on IPCC and Outbound on non IPCC difference
We have been testing the reports for a client and we came up with a few weird reporting stats for the Agent Call Summary Report on the UCCX.
When a Transfer is completed ,Agent A (1003) completes the transfer to Agent B (1000), the outbound call from Agent A is reported as "Outbound on IPCC".
However when a you place only a consult call, Agent A (1003) calls Agent B (1000) and goes back to the original call the oubound call placed by Agent A is reported as "Outbound on non-IPCC", which is kind of weird for me.
Anybody out there who experienced the same or can help me understand why this happens? Thanks!
Completed transfer
Consut onlyDid you ever get any traction on this quesiton? I have a customer that has a single line on the agents phones for both non and ipcc calls and somehow the totals for Outbound IPCC and Outbound Non-IPCC calls are different. I'm trying to figure out how that can be and what the specific definition of an Outbound IPCC call actually is and how it differs from an Outbound Non-IPCC call.
Thanks

Report of Outbound calls that were not answered
Hello
does anyone know if there is a report in UCCX that shows me the quantity of outbound calls that were not answered for a determined CSQ?
My UCCX version is 8.5.
Thank you
MarcosNot specifically, In the Agent Detail Report or CSQ report it's the difference in "Calls Presented" and "Calls Handled".
CP - CH = unanswered

DTMF Isn't Working When a Call is Placed Outbound from UCCX
I have a script that places an outbound call and when the caller answers the call, I do a get digit string to capture caller input and the DTMF isn't working. The caller is hearing "Are you there?".
Here is the call flow:
Http Trigger into a script
Script places an outbound call using the Place Call command
The call gets answered.
Using the Get Digit String command, the caller hears the prompt that is played with get digit string.
The caller presses keys, but no keys are accepted.
Caller hears "Are you still there" and timesout.
I believe this was working at one time, but the script wasn't used and now we are revisiting this script.
I am using a H.323 gateway. IP phones using the same gateway to reach the PSTN do not have problems with DTMF. Inbound calls to the UCCX script are working when calling into a script with a Menu step.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks. You are exactly right. I was hitting DP 0 since during the cut I adding a ^ in front of my voip dial-peer pointing to the CUCM cluster. Once I waited to the call volume went down, after 9pm, I was able to do a debug voip dialpeer and I was able to see that the inbound dial-peer was matching.
Thanks for your reply. -
Wrap-up time for manual outbound calls (UCCX)
Is it possible to configure the wrap-up time for the manual outbound calls in UCCX? I think, this option only exists in CSQ, which is of course meant for the inbound calls. Any thoughts or any workaround to make this work?
Requirement- Once a manual outbound call is hung up, agent's state should be switched to WORK READY as per the wrap-up timer setting.
Thanks.Dear experts,
I look forward to hear from you if you have anything to offer. Wrap-up TIME to be setup for manual outbound calls in UCCX.
Thanks,

UCCX Report - Zero Call Duration
Hi,
We are using UCCX 7.0 In Histrocial detailed CCDR report we able to get the report for outbound call also.
But issue for the Outbound is calls which is not answred by the remote party also having some seconds duration in the report
Because of this we are not able to identify the matured calls & non matured calls for the outgoing.
Any way to do this
Thanks,Hi,
Try to configure reason codes that describes the call complete status. then you can use Historical reporting to generate a report based on those Reason codes.

Outbound Call in Cisco Finesse
Anybody please help what all configuration to be done in Finesse to do the outbound calls.
I am using Cisco UCCX 10.0, in which i have both the option for Cisco CAD and Finesse. When i run a outbound campaign its coming as an incoming call in Finesse.
When i answer the call, its showing the error "Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. Outbound option not available".
Please help how to enable the outbound controls in FinesseThis is ineed the case, from RN (somewhat cryptic :-) ):
Cisco Finesse
Cisco Finesse is the next generation browser-based agent and supervisor desktop for Unified CCX. Finesse is an alternative to Cisco Agent Desktop, Cisco Supervisor Desktop, and Cisco Desktop Administrator. Finesse is available with Enhanced and Premium license packages and provides typical inbound voice contact center functionality. It supports Unified Communications Manager-based silent monitoring and workflow-based recording with MediaSense and Work Force Optimization (WFO).

Setting "work Time" on a outbound call?
I have a request for me to set "work Time" built in after a outbound call. So if the user makes a call from the agent and then after they hang up it would wait 30 seconds before presenting them a call. I have UCCX 7.2 Express Enhanced Not sure if this is even possible but thought I would ask
Thank you!Thank you for the information Andrew! I apreciate it. I will pass it along

Unable to perform call transfer or call park for an outbound call via SIP Trunk (SKYPE)
We have configured the SIP Trunk & SIP profile and successfull make outbound call through SIP Trunk (SKYPE). However, we are not able to perform call transfer or call park when the call is connected.
The scenario is:
A call to an phone number via SIP trunk, when call established, A perform call-transfer to B. After the call-transfer, the call Drop and Phone B show error code "Temp Fail"
When i select "enable MTP" in SIP trunk, we are able to call transfer and call park. But it limit the number of call session to 1.You are probably running into some sort of Codec issue. IE, your phone is G.711 and the trunk is G.729. You will need to transcode the call at somepoint.

485 Ambiguous - Outbound Calls Only
I'm having some issues with the 485 Ambigous Error, but on Outbound calls only. I've read several blog posts and was able to solve this issue for incoming calls, but have yet to find a solution for outbound calls.
I have two phone numbers: XXX-XXX-5232 and XXX-XXX-3081. All of my users are configured in Lync with +1XXXXXX5232;ext=XXXXX
XXX-XXX-5232 is set to normalize to +1XXXXXX5232;ext=53999 which is a Lync User that is setup with Team Call to ring multiple other extensions. I'm not aware of any AutoAttendant or Response group that is configured with just +1XXXXXX5232.
Again, inbound calling is working just fine and outbound calls work as expected, they just report the 485 Ambiguous for each call.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.Yes, the call is routed to the Gateway. In fact, the call completes successfully. Here is the trace. Hopefully it will be readable:

no vadHi Nadeem,
our setup is like
vpn link
call manager ------head office(router)----------------------------------brach router(gateway)------------------ip phone(branch)
The call flow is
sip
IP Phone---->brach GW-------------->call manager------------------>branch GW------------------->ITSP
there is no subscriber at branch side, so the outbound call should travel to call manager at head office and then get exit from branch gateway to ITSP through sip line.
