UCCX 8 third party phone support

Does anyone know if third party IP phones are supported in UCCX 8 contact center working environment?
I know for Call manager third party support but - are that phones going to work for contact center agent?
TIA,
Dragan

They are not. Supported phone models are inclusively listed in the compatibility guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_compatibility/matrix/crscomtx.pdf

  • Non cisco/Third party phones are compatible with CCX 9 or not?

    Dear Guys,
I have a CCX 9 server integrated with CUCM 9 and also non cisco based/Third party phones (SNOM IP Phones) as agent for CCX server. when i try to log in to CAD software with User ID and password that assigned to SNOM phone  i got JTAPI error but with CIPC(Cisco IP Communicator) works fine and i could log on without any issue. i checked RMuser controlled device and also allow controlled CTI port, all configured. i checked all documents about this issue but it is not mentioned anything about SNOM phone used as agent. any idea for that? any documents for compatibility list between CCX and agent platform...

    Hi Sara,
If you do not see it in the UCCX comp matirx, than please remember that you will not get support from Cisco TAC incase if you hit any issues with this deployment.

  • Third Party Database Support in SQL Developer

As a rule I don't (blatantly) advertise my blog on this forum, but I have just had feedback from my recent posting which made realize you might not have stumbled on this new functionality. i.e. Third Party Database Support in SQL Developer. <br>
<p>In the Evaluation Release 3 (1.1.0.22.71) you can connect to and browse MySQL and SQL Server databases. The Getting Started document on OTN, does mention where to get the jdbc drivers and briefly, how to set it up in SQL Developer. This blog entry takes that a step further.
<p>If you have access to either of these databases, please take a whirl and see what you think. For production you will also be able to connect to an MS Access database.
    <p>Regards<br>
    Sue

The great thing, as you see from Donal's reply, is that other teams can take advantage of SQL Developer's framework, so we have a few teams working on extensions to SQL Developer and the product benefits from the work they do.
From the SQL Developer team's side, we have logged and fixed bugs for 8i support in 1.1. since the last evaluation drop, so when you get the next drop for SQL Developer, you should be able to browse more objects using 8i. Also I have logged further 8i bugs and will continue to have more fixed. This is an ongoing project. We also have a number of features that need to be added to support current releases and try to give these a high priority. So the team is focused on addressing as many requests as we can for supported features.
We know we have many customers on unsupported databases and would like to support them too, having said that, we have run a poll on this forum for ages and have had 7.5% (22) responses for databases lower than 9.x. It's a small poll, but based on all our feedback we believe we have the right focus.

  • Third Party Phone over SIP Trunk with CUCM 9.x

    Hi all,
I have a problem where my Third Party SIP phones wont go over the SIP trunk configured in my CUCM 9.x cluster. My Cisco phones work fine and goes out the trunk. I have noticed a distinct difference in wireshark with the invite packets from Third Party SIP phones and the Cisco ones.
I have configured the SIP trunk in CUCM with the following route pattern (60.!#)and configured it with associated group and list. Heres the differense between the invite packets from Cisco and Third Party phones.
    Cisco Phone: INVITE sip.60xxxx%23@ipadress
Third Party SIP Phone:  INVITE sip:[email protected]
It seems the Cisco phones gets some extra configured the Third Party ones dont...
Thanks in advance for any help.
    //Per

    Thanks for the answer
Yeah i have DNS configured and i have the trunk pointed to a domain destination SRV record and like i said it works fine when calling from a Cisco phone. I tried changing the domain to an ip address but same result. I also changed the Plycom phone from being registered towards the domain of CUCM to an IP adress of CUCM and then the SIP INVITE messages in wireshark began to look kinda the same expet for the "%23" section but it still dont work.
When i look at the Real Time Data in RTMT the orig and final called from the cisco phone has stripped the 60 and forwared the rest of the number towards the correct domain for the SIP trunk.
When looking at the data from the Polycom phone the orig and final called data still contains the 60 prefix part and the called device name field is empty.  The termination Cause Code is that the number requested is Unallocated/Unassigned..
In other words something is missing to get CUCM to strip 60 from the Polycom phones dialed number and send it towards the SIP trunk like it does when the Cisco phones call it.
Unfortunatley i dont have the meens to attach the trace...
    Thanks again for any help/advice
    With regards, Per.

  • Third Party Component Support in Design View

    in this article:"
    http://flexwiki.adobe.com/confluence/display/ADOBE/Flex+Builder+3+Planning"
    the follow is shown:
Third Party Component Support in Design View
    Planned milestone: M3
Flex Builder should have better support for third-party
components in design view. Also, the components view and the
properties view should be just as good for 3rd party components as
it is for Adobe Flex components like charting and advanced data
    grid controls.
    * The component author should be able to specify the
    category for the Components panel.
    * The component author should be able to control the
Standard View property sheet including the Common and Style
    categories
    * A component developer should be able to deliver a single
component in a SWC that contains all appropriate information
    * The component author should be able to include Design view
extension code to specify Design View surface behavior
    * The component author should be able to specify the default
code that gets inserted when a component is dropped on the stage
I wonder how to specify the category for my components, is
that some compile options or some configure file?
    thx

    /bump
Noone any information about that topic? This would be a great
    usability enhancement...

  • The third party database supported by SAP BW

    Hi
Apart from SAP R/3 , my client has a historical data in thier legacy system so called  MFG/PRO, they wondering if SAP BW is allow to connect to such system.  Anyone know where I can check the third party database supported by SAP BW ?
    Panadda

    Hi:
The native SAP NetWeaver BI functionality delivered to connect with such a system is called UDconnect ("BW" is an old term).
    Here are some resources
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/78/ef1441a509064abee6ffd6f38278fd/frameset.htm

You should be able to find a JDBC or ODBO driver for such a system that can work with UDconnect.
Thanks for any points you choose to assign.

Adobe have just posted an updated Adobe Premiere Pro Third-Party Hardware Support

I replied to this info on another thread, but suffice it to say:
This list is utterly worthless and best removed if Adobe does not want to further destroy their image.

  • Activating a third party phone.

My phone broke so I purcahsed one off of a third party site (Ebay, Amazon, etc). When I activate the phone to my plan on my line, will the insurance that I had apply to the new phone, or would I have to get new insurance or would i have to go uninsured? I have a non-smartphone and i would be getting another non-smart phone. Please let me know!

    meiming wrote:
So does that mean I have no way of protecting the phone? or what?
I don't really understand why you are asking this question.
You had a phone. You had insurance. Your phone broke, so you purchase a phone from a third party instead of going through the insurance. Why did you have insurance, then?
If you would have gone through your insurance to get your replacement phone, the insurance most likely would have transferred to the new phone.
Since you did not, it will not. The carrier will not insure something that does not come from Verizon or the insurance carrier itself.
You may be able to get insurance through your homeowners policy, but I am not really sure if that is worth it.
The best insurance I have always use was to be careful with the phone, and to keep my old phones laying around in case I need to reactivate them on my line. I have never had to do so and the insurance premiums I have saved would get me a couple of full retail phones as replacements.

  • Generic third party connection supported?

I was trying to configure a ssh jdbc driver, it works in SQuirrel, wondering if it is supported in Oracle SQL developer? Previous post said generic third party connection URL isn''t available until 2.0. Can someone confirm with that? Thank you!

We do not support generic 3rd party JDBC connections (beyond the non generic jdbc connections explicitly declared supported in the documentation).

  • New update adds third-party remote support. I could use mine already!

    I am a little confused.
    Appletell states-
"The update also allows users to use third party remotes with their Apple TV, which has been a long standing request from many users"
This is saying, to me, that you can use a third-party remote to control TV functions.
If that's the case, I have been doing that ever since I got it, using my universal remote for all my tv-connected devices including my TV (I got it to learn the Apple remotes signals). Could someone please elaborate on this?

It's not really for universal remotes - which normally come with a database of codes to use with a wide variety of devices. It's for the remotes that can normally control another device - for example:
My Samsung TV remote has the ability to control a Samsung DVD player. Although i haven't got the DVD player, the buttons are on the remote anyway (Play, Pause, Fast Forward, etc).
I can now map those buttons the the ATV - in fact i gave it a go and it worked fine. However, i've put that back in the cupboard as i have a universal remote like you thats been doing it for ages.
    Cheers

  • Wrt400n to get third party ddwrt support

Since this router is simlar to the 160 /610 models and proven to be a fast and hardy model  the brain at ddwrt has decided to look into making it run on this model.
Porting it over shouldn't be too hard because of simlatries in the models and the firmware it already runs.
One must remeber though that this kills the warrenty so its your choice.
Will the stock firmware isn't that bad it has bugs with vpn and rebooting every now and then which linksys hasn't adressed yet.
I for one greatly look forward to ddwrt running on this as they fix bugs fast and update the firmware often (not to mention all the extra features).

For those wondering we are presently testing ddwrt on the wrt400n thanks to the brain.
Simple gui upload is needed and it comes in two parts (one to prepare and the firmware itself)
    30/30/30 reset is strongly suggested
Can be found in the atheros forum.
Please be sure to give feedback as this will very quickly improve the firmware.
Also thank the man himself for making us all much happier.
The first firmware is remarkably solid for the first version.

  • Add third party SIP Phone to CCM 5

'm not able to register this SIP Phone to the CCM5.0. I have device license that cater all IP Phone models.(LIC-CM-DL-100=)
I got error message " Login Forbidden" "timeout" in the IP Phone.
In the CCM, I got this message in Phone COnfig Window
    Registration: Rejected.
Can you explain on how to register this 3rd party IP phone to CCM?
Is it CCM able to support SIP Phone?

    Hi,
This is most likely because of the following...
Because third-party SIP phones do not send a MAC address, they must identify themselves by using digest authentication.
The REGISTER message includes the following header:
    Authorization: Digest username="swhite",realm="ccmsipline",nonce="GBauADss2qoWr6k9y3hGGVDAqnLfoLk5",uri="sip:172.18.197.224",algorithm=MD5,response="126c0643a4923359ab59d4f53494552e"
The username, swhite, must match an end user that is configured in the End User Configuration window of Cisco Unified CallManager Administration. The administrator configures the SIP third-party phone with the user; for example, swhite, in the Digest User field of Phone Configuration window.
    See the following document.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/5_1_3/ccmcfg/b09sip3p.html
Hope this helps, if so please rate.

which third party plugins supported in fcp X
