UCCX 9.0 CAD Logout non-activity time

I'm trying to find a way to automatically log agents out of CAD after they've been sitting idle for a certain period of time. I know this exists from seeing it at previous jobs where I was an agent. I've searched for any articles or forum posts I could find that give information on this and I've seen people mention a setting for "Logout non-activity time", but I'm not able to find this setting anywhere. I've checked in CCX Administration and Serviceability, Desktop Administrator and Desktop Workflow Administrator.
Can someone point me in the right direction so I can get this set up? Thanks all.

Hi,
the "Logout non-activity time" is a parameter in UCCE (the enterprise grade contact center solution from Cisco). I am not aware of this setting built in in UCCX.
What you can do, however, is to set up a Workflow of time "Time of Day" and you can map an Agent State Action with Agent State Control set to Logout. I know this is not what you want but this may be close to it: you can for instance create a rule that logs out all agents at 23:00. You can even send a notification message before the actual logout.
Note this is for UCCX premium only.
Read the details in the "Cisco Desktop Administrator User Guide, Release 9.0", p.92.

Hi All, our customer wants to measure attendance time for his employees according to logged-in time within IPCC (it is SIPCC and CTIOS toolkit agent desktop client).
The problem is that some of his agents sometimes dont want to accept calls for a while - so they change their status to "not-ready" status and they want this status to be automatically changed to "logged-out" after 12 hours. But administration web allows you to set up maximum of 7200 seconds (2 hours) or to turn of this funcionality.
Doesnt somebody know how to prolong this time somehow?

This comes up with a few customers, but it is a horrible match and you end up with the worst of both worlds. There are better ways to measure "attendance time" than being logged into CTIOS.
Being "not ready" for long periods is not a good idea, in my opinion. Best to log out, with a suitable log out reason. You'll have to track attendance with another tool.
It really is best to preserve "not ready" for short durations. I prefer to have the agents log out when going on morning and afternoon breaks, and of course lunch, team meetings and so on. I want Supervisors to know that an agent in the "not ready" state will be back very soon - they can bank on it. I'm not in favour of "not ready" reasons - but am in favour of log out reasons.
I know - everyone has their own ideas on this.
As far as extending the "inactivity timer" beyond 7200s, I don't think it's possible.

If you are not using data and the iPhone goes to sleep, it will automatically drop the wi-fi, and will not reconnect until you wake the phone up. That is the way it is designed. The only way around that is to turn off cellular data while at home and on wi-fi.
Cannot answer the xbox question since this is an iPhone forum and I would have no idea.

Column Activity time of DB2 Thread Activity is sorted improperly

There is a small but annoying problem... The column of "Activity Time" in "Thread Activity" ALV table is not sorted properly.
The field of "ACTTIME" contains time amounts in two different formats if the amount includes days or doesn't.
The note 1280173 doesn't correct the problem. Even after this note the column sorted in the descending mode looks in such a way:

It is an ALV table and its numerical fields are displayed as right-justified and character fields as left-justified despite leading spaces. A correction is required, either in the sorting routine or in these values presentation.

My advice: Don't hold your breath.
SAP Note 1280173 is for BC-DB-DB2, aka DB2 for z/OS. Since this platform has at best 1% of the SAP market share, I would not expect such a small non-critical annoyance to be fixed quickly. That is just based on my limited experience with SAP on Z. SAP probably has bigger issues to solve on platforms with far more market share.
We're still waiting for the recommended runstats and reorgs to work with a schema other than the ABAP stack's SAPR3. At the moment, DSNACCOR is able to feed SAP all recommended runstats and reorgs, but SAP can only handle the ones with SAPR3. The others (including SAPJAVA) are ignored. We were first promised that this would be fixed in SAP_BASIS 7.00 SP17 and had to wait 6 months for this SP to be released after we identified the deficiency. It was NOT fixed in SP17. Now we are told the runstats piece MIGHT be corrected in SP18 (due out February 2009) and the reorgs MIGHT be corrected in SP19. We will have been waiting well over a year for this basic functionality that works with other supported SAP DB platforms.

Standars DSO tables are not marked as Non Active by default.

And one more thing I would like to mention is the beauty of BW on HANA is :BW Uses HANA's Memory In A Smarter Way .Its not really necessay for the user to do partitioning at object level because HANA redistribution takes care of it automatically.

Sorting activated and non-activated songs

Hi there.
I have set my iPod to sync only activated songs, so that I can change the content from time to time. But now I didn't find a way to sort my library by activated and non-activated songs (you know, the small box left of a songs name which is usually activated). Now I begin to lose the overview.
Does somebody know how to sort the library by activated and non-activated songs?

You can't sort by checkmarks, but you can separate your library between checked and unchecked items with two smart playlists:
1- Make a smart playlist defined as: +Bitrate > 0+, and select the options "Match only checked items" and "Live Updating". Call this playlist "Checked Items".
2- Make another smart playlist defined as: +Playlist -- Is Not -- Checked Items+ and select the option "Live Updating". This will show you all the un-checked items.

This is almost an exercise in futility; at best it will be extremely painful.
Aside from trying to wrap my head around why a 1000+ system environment would not have Active Directory deployed (in 2014!) in the first place, there's only one way you'll be able to achieve this objective: One Client At A Time!
In short, you'll need to either use Local Policy on each individual system, or perform a REG IMPORT of the necessary settings. There may be ways to expedite the REG IMPORT, but that highly depends on the trust factor of the individual end-users, and whether
they have local admin privileges on their system.

Dv4-1275mx freeze for few mins and disk 100% highest active time.

           I bought a dv4-1275mx in june and about a week ago, my laptop started to freeze for few minutes and come back.In that time, i didn't do anything and when i checked Resource Monitor (already opened), i saw 100% in Highest Active time in Disk with small data read. This happened several times and when i checked the events, i found following,

I own two of the dv4-1275mx laptops. Both machines were purchased around June of 2009 from Best Buy, and both machines are doing the same thing as what has been described here. It appears that this model has a flaw, or certain production runs have this flaw. I have done an exhaustive amount of research about this problem and know quite a bit about it.
But, good luck getting HP's Customer No-Service department to actually fix the problem. If you try to get them to fix it, you are about to be taken for quite a ride. They have been absolutely no help in diagnosing the problem, and I am still trying to get them to acknowledge and fix the problem with these laptops.
The problem is with the hard disk controller. It happens both with the built-in hard disk drive and with an external disk drive. It occurs whenever you place a significant load on the disk controller. When the problem occurs, the machine will lock up for 60 seconds at a time. Eventually, the driver times out, resets the disk, and drive activity continues until it happens again.
Normally, the problem is very intermittent because normal usage of the machine doesn't always trigger this problem. However, I have been able to replicate the problem consistently using a backup program called Macrium Reflect (free edition). If I use Macrium Reflect to back up or restore the hard disk image using an external disk drive plugged into the eSATA port, then the ATAPI errors in the log appear immediately after it begins copying data. Eventually, the backup will fail.
The worst part about this is the data corruption. If the lock-up condition occurs when a disk write is happening, then the data being written will get corrupted and you will lose data. I have had disks that have gradually gotten so corrupted that they won't boot anymore. I have spent a countless number of hours backing up, restoring, and attempting to use the machine despite these problems.
After doing further research and testing, it appears that this type of problem is not uncommon to the AMD M780G / ATI Radeon 3200 chipset that these laptops use. If you search the Internet for this type of error, you will find a number of HP and Non-HP customers complaining about this same issue with this chipset on different machines. This leads me to believe that the problem might be with the chipset itself.
I have attempted to find a software remedy to the problem with no success. This included trying all of the following:
- Trying Windows Vista 64 with various configurations of service packs and updates.
- Using the Microsoft AHCI driver and the ATI-supplied AHCI driver for the Radeon 3200 series
- Using different BIOS revisions
- Trying to find a magic combination of AHCI driver and BIOS revision that would work
- Trying various settings for disk write caching
- Turning of DMA on the controller
- Uninstalling every piece of HP-supplied software that I could think of that might have even the slightest possibility of interfering with the hard disk controller
None of this worked. Eventually, I concluded that this is a hardware problem that isn't going to get fixed through software.
Sadly, after doing all of this research, HP has not been helpful with getting this problem fixed. In the past, I have owned laptops from Dell and Toshiba, and while I know that no manufacturer is perfect, I have not had many issues getting prompt and reliable service from either of those two companies when I needed it. This is the first time I have purchased an HP laptop. And after the customer no-service experiences I have had, it is likely to be the last time I purchase an HP laptop.
HP's technical support seems to think that re-imaging the drive to reset the machine to factory defaults cures all problems. Over the phone, they have made me do this a couple of times, insisting that the problem is a result of a virus or something I installed on my machine.
Recently, I sent both of my laptops to them for service. To assist them, I included the details of all of the research that I had done. I gave them copies of this information both electronically, and included inside the box with the laptop. The information had details on the steps that I tried, and links to websites documenting problems with the M780G chipset. It also had details on how to replicate the problem with Macrium Reflect. I even re-imaged the machine back to the factory image, and installed Macrium Reflect for their convenience. And what did HP's service department do? They re-imaged the hard drive again and sent it back to me without even bothering to run my test! This is just absolutely moronic. Either the service technician can't read, or the service technician just doesn't care about fixing customer problems!
My complaints about HP's service are as follows:
There is no sense of urgency about fixing problems. I have been enduring this issue for 9 months now. But no one seems to care.
It takes forever for them to turn around machines in their service department. With Dell, I used to have a working laptop in my hands in 5 days, tops. What's worse is that they ship the packages via FedEx Ground with signature confirmation. (If you work a normal day job, good luck trying to get your package from FedEx Ground, which is only open when I am at work.)
The telephone and online support personnel often don't listen to you, and the details of problems don't ever seem to be recorded anywhere. I have had to explain this problem over and over for various people who seemed almost completely ignorant about the problems I have been experiencing.
The technicians are not competent, even when you tell them what needs to be fixed.
As far as I am concerned, HP has not been honoring the warranty on my machines. This is has been frustrating beyond words. I am at the point where I just want two new laptops without this chipset, but I seriously doubt I will ever get that. To all of you who are experiencing the same issue as I am, I wish you the best of luck in getting HP to resolve this problem--you are going to need it!

If the iCloud account you are trying to delete is old ID that was later updated to change it to your current ID, you can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now, if desired, you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hiding non-working time in Team Planner View

Hello there. The tasks in my project are typically between 2-5 hours over a week period. In Team Planner View, I'm hoping to provide a better representation of free time between tasks by making my bottom tier hours in a 4 hour count. However,
decreasing the scale forces the Task names become cut off when the event itself shrinks.
I was hoping to remove the non-working time (i.e., nights and weekends) from the Team Planner view to enable a better view. I'm aware that the capabilities of Team Planner View seem to be limited, but is this type of formatting at all possible?

After I created my response and posted it, I wondered whether you wanted to completely remove the nonworking time periods. This is not possible. The best you can do is to remove the shading for nonworking time periods, but you cannot remove them
entirely in any view. Hope this helps.

Non- Working Time

In sap when i am trying to create a/p invoice based on a grpo and the posting date and due date is 06/01/08 (which is sunday) the system throws following prompt" 06/01/08 is defined as non- working time? continue. yes,no.". The calender defined for the company in the system is of yr 2006 and weekend as saturday to sunday.
-"Valid for one yr only" box is selected
-"Ignore weekends for payments" is NOT selected
Also system never threw this msg when i created a po and grpo.
please let me know why the system has thrown this prompt.

Hi Kapil,
The solution to this problem lies in the fact that you must have mentioned the Payment Date in the BP master data for the vendor......this window is appearing in the Payment Terms Tab in the BP master Data below Holidays.
Use the window to define the days each month in which your customer usually pays the open invoices, or the days each month that your company pays its vendors.
Example
When 10 and 20 are defined in the Payment Dates window for a certain customer, the invoice due dates are calculated as follows:
·        If the posting date is between the 1st and the 10th of a certain month the due date of the invoice is the 10th of that same month.
·        If the posting date is between the 10th and the 20th of a certain month the due date of the invoice is the 20th of that same month.
·        If the posting date is after the 21st of a certain month the due date of the invoice will be the 10th of the next month
