UCCX CAD for PSTN Phone

Hi Experts
I need a clear one of my doubt regarding UCCX feature for supporting CAD for remote working agent where they don't have VOIP phone or CIPC at home for call quality .Instead they use there home PSTN phone for taking call from UCCX using CAD.
Is that possible in UCCX environment 9.x or 10.x and is that supported by cisco TAC.

Yes, it's possible, but only in 10+. The feature is called 'Extend and Connect' and is described here:

It will be supported by TAC in terms of function, but no doubt there will be exclusions around call quality and reliability based on the remote device.

UCCX 10.5 - IP Phone Agent (IPPA) & Finesse

I see that running CAD or Finesse is mutually exclusive i.e. one or the other but I can't find anything about IP Phone agent.
My question is, if I enable and run Finesse will IP Phone agent still work and be supported?

Yeah. It's not supported. During a UCCX presentation for CUG (or whatever it's called now), I asked if there will be a Finesse supported replacement and was told there would be but that was all that was offered. TBH, I don't get why they wouldn't have one already. I'm looking at new rollouts and when I explain the life expectancy of CAD, customers are opting right away for Finesse. Then I drop the "you have to have a PC at all times" line and the disappointment sets in. Ah well.

QM2.6 - how to start recording in UCCX CAD station

I just installed QM components in UCCX CAD station but don't know how to start recording
-WFO QM desktop
-WFO QM recording
Is there any button on CAD or via administrator work-flow?

Well we use QM recording and the Cisco IP Communicator - if your are using the communicator save yourself a lot of time and headaches by ensuring your device name is in the SEPxxxxxx format - it has to be the MAC - no other format will work.
Secondly to enable recording your CAD users you will need to enable them through the "quality management administrator" application. You will need to link them and license them as well. You won't be able to do any recording unless they are licensed. The debug logs under C:\Program Files\Cisco\WFO_QM\log are helpful as well. Once you have everything configured properly don't expect to see anything under the "Recordings" tab right away but you may see recordings pop into "Archives" when you search for one of the users you are recording.

Getting packet captures for IP Phone

Hi,
I want to take captures for IP phone calls to find out the frequency and cadence of the FXO ports. My county doesn't have listed cptones.
Now while i'm trying to get the captures, i am not getting any UDP stream from source IP (which is usually the gateway IP address) to IP phone. Its only the skinny packets. Can anyone help me to get appropiate captures.
For your information, we are using 8 PSTN lines connected to the FXO ports of the router.

To my understanding, we can use VAD only on voip dial-peers. We have 8 PSTN lines connected to the FXO ports. On the POTS dial-peer, there is no option for VAD.
Another thing is, we have separate routers for Internet & Voice traffic. Not sure what did you mean by routing issue. We don't have any explicit routing other than the default routing. We have subinterfaced g0/0 into data and voice vlan and the default route is directed to data vlan gateway. Still I'm getting only the TCP & Skinny packets.

UCCX CAD developer customization?

I have a customer that is familiar with some of the capabilities of UCCE, and they were used to using the CTIOS toolkit to customize quite a bit of the agent's desktop experience.
However, now they're installing UCCX and they would like to make similar customizations there. An example is they set it up to do on demand recordings, then allow the agent to enter notes on the recording.
Is there any toolkit or SDK or something similar available for customizing CAD for use with UCCX?

The Cisco Contact Center Express Computer Telephony Integration Protocol (UCCXCTI) provides for Cisco partners to develop custom 3rd party agent and supervisor softphone applications similar to what is provided by the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD). Applications using this TCP/IP socket based message protocol can receive event information for Unified CCX agents and calls and can provide agent and call control. In addiiton, applications can receive configuration information as well as statistics information on a realtime basis.

HP officejet 6500 drivers for windows phone

I have officejet 6500 with ethernet card. I use with wireless. I have Nokia 1020, Win8.1 mobil phone. I want print text on my phone. I installed HP Aio Remote Beta program. Aio found my printer but it said that this printer isn't supported. How can I print my text using my mobil phone on the officejet 6500? Is there any driver for mobil phone or any different program? or is that an upgrade for Aio (it must include my printer's driver ofcourse)

I afraid the printer is not compatible with Windows Phone.
Only the models listed within the "What printers support printing features for the HP AiO Remote app for Windows 8 Phones?" below can be used for printing from Windows 8 Phone devices:

Hi,
The app for Windows phone is a BETA version. In my case (also a Nokia) it can find my printer but when sending something to printer, printer won't print. Again, it's only a BETA version.

Make a flashlight App for Windows Phone 8.1 (TorchControl not supported)

I want to develop a simple flashlight app for Windows Phone 8.1 (non Silverlight). I used the TorchControl but it returns a false when i tried to run on my Device

SQLite3-WinRT / SQLite3Component for Windows Phone 8.1 (HTML5 & JavaScript)

I am a newbie in the developpement for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1.
After a few weeks reading books and watching videos to learn developping Windows Store Apps 8.1 with HTML5 and JavaScript, I have started my very first serious application as a Universal Windows Store App using visual studio 2013 community edition. I would
like to use SQLite for persisiting the data of my application.
I installed the necessary extensions to VS2013 both for windows 8.1 and windows phone 8.1 (SDK + SQLite extension)
I cloned the SQLite3-WinRT projet from GitHub, and, as VS2013 asked it, run the targetting process to upgrade to Windows 8.1.
I successfully installed and tested SQLite3-WinRT using Javascript for the WIndows 8.1 part of my project.
But when i tried to add the SQLite3Component project as a reference to my Windows Phone 8.1 project, VS2013 complained that SQLite3Component project is an invalid reference for a windows phone project... I can understand this as the SQLite3Component project
seems to be a windows 8 only project.
I have been looking for a solution for two days now without success and decided therefore to post my question here: is there a SQLite3Component project targetted for WINdows Phone 8(.1)? If not, what are my alternatives for persisting potentially large amount
of data with advanced search queries locally on a windows phone?
