UCCX Desktop Silent Monitoring is not working

Dear All,
I am facing silent monitoring issue on some my cusomter site .I was working fine but customer changed it's contact centre location.Now contact centre is located on different location.All service is working fine except silent monitoring .

Supervisor can’t silently monitor any agent .Supervisor is using desktop monitoring services to monitor all agents.
I have analyzed the debug logs a agent machine .and there is some registry warning messages and errors .I have reinstalled the CAD but no luck .Please help to sort out this issue .

I had similiar issue after upgrading.  We found that the QOS RSVP service is needed for our silent monitoring to work properly. We were disabling it in group policy.

    Running UCM 8.5 cluster with UCCX 8.5.
    In CSD, silent monitoring is not working.
    Windows XP OS is running on supervisor desktop. when i select the agent
    then the silent monitoring icon will highlighted once i click on the icon,
    after 5-7 seconds i am getting an error "Silent monitoring session has
    failed".
    Not able to playback the recorded files:
    I can able to record and the file size is 2.6mb for approximate 3min
    recording.When i tried to play from supervisor record viewer it is playing
    but no voice is coming. And i downloaded using play & save option and
    tried to play the .wav file but i can't hear any voice.
    Problem is while playing back the recorded file. I can able to see the
    recorded files in the UCCX.
    Please help me out!!!

    It's likely the same problem: CAD is not forwarding packets to CSD or the CCX recording service. Two common causes for this are:
    The phone is not spanning to the PC port or does not allow PC Port VLAN Access. Change these options to true on the phone's configuration in CUCM.
    The NIC of the agent's PC running CAD is not processing 802.1q-tagged Ethernet frames. It must not drop these and pass them into the Windows NDIS stack for CAD to get them. Google is your friend here; this commonly requires registry changes to make the NIC process the packets.

    CCM ver 7.1.x
    IPCC Express 7.0.x

    - What kind of monitoring the ystem is configured for (server based or desktop ? )
    - what it fails do you see any errors on the CSD  ?
    - are agents in the same location as supervisor ?

  • UCCX Finesse silent monitoring for direct dial calls

    I completely understand that Finesse is geared towards the inbound contact center, at least for right now.  Although I can't say the marketing materials really stress that.   But I cannot understand the lack of silent monitoring for all call types.  Currently silent monitoring only works for inbound calls from UCCX, and does not function for direct inbound calls, or direct dialed outbound calls.
    From a system view, Finesse is using UCM's built in silent monitoring, via a very basic JTAPI command.  There is very little engineering required to enable this functionality, and I truly thing is is a major limiting issue.  Many customers in fact only want the ability to do silent monitoring and basic reporting, and Finesse would be a perfect product for this.
    I am considering looking at putting together some custom scripts/web apps to engage the required JTAPI in CUCM via a Finesse Gadget, to replace the built in Finesse silent monitoring function.  I'm curious if anyone has some input on how involved that might be, seems like I just really need to pass the monitoring DN and monitored DN through a JTAPI command.
    More importantly, is there any hope for Finesse to support this natively?  Or other outbound features? If it's a feature "in the works" we have a customer who might be able to "get by" using the Cisco Agent Desktop silent monitoring, but only if that is the case.

    We've got to delimit the problem.
    When we use 3rd party recording solution there are 4 RTP flows: 1 incoming to monitored/recorded phone and 3 flows outgoing.
    1 incoming RTP flows
    - voice of remote phone
    3 outgoing RTP flows
    - voice of monitored/recorded phone
    - voice of monitored/recorded phone sent to 3d party recording server
    - voice of remote phone sent to 3rd party recording server
    When we use a network analyzer we see that the agent running in the PC (UCCX 5.0) establishes two RTP flows for the monitoring session. But we can see that one of these flows sends 3 packet RTP per 1 packet RTP sent in the other RTP flow (in the same time).
    We think agent sends to monitoring device all the outoing RTP packets of the phone (that belong to three different RTP flows), instead of sending only the RTP packets belonging to voice of monitored/recorded phone.
    The other flow, voice of remote phone, sounds fine.
    Is there a solution to avoid this problem when we monitor with UCCX 5.0 and record with a 3rd party software at the same time?

    My Customer is testing the Silent Monitoring, but, not is working. He is using the NIC Intel 82579LM, version 17.4 - 64 bits. I read the documentation the link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/voicesw/custcosw/ps5693/ps14/prod_system_requirements0900aecd800e3149.pdf
    but, the reference is to version 7.1.3. My Customer work with UCCX and CUCM version 8.6. Are there one specific documentation about this version? The link don´t show the NIC tested by my Customer

    I've done lots of deployments of this on UCCX, and still haven't found a NIC that doesn't work. I'm sure there are some, but they appear to be very rare.
    If you can sniff the UDP when a call is in progress, it can work. If you can't, then it's usually down to configuration - e.g. non-phone-connected PCs, span-to-PC-port, PC vvvlan access, etc etc.

  • My w2207h HP Monitor is not working on my macbook pro with hdmi minidisplayport adapter. On Windows 7 via bootcamp it works. What can i do ?

    As is said my HP w2207h monitor is not working with a minidisplayport to hdmi adapter and a hdmi cable which is working fine for my PS3. So the cable is not the problem. And on my TV i also have no problems at all activating a second monitor. Therefore the adapter isnt the problem either. When i plug it in the typical bluescreen appears. Then after a few seconds it appears again and there is no second monitor recognized. I also used the "recognize Monitor" button without success. Please help me, are there any special drivers or something like that ?
    PS: bought a high end expensive adapter now because the old one was very cheap. But didnt help. Still stuck on the macbook not recognizing anything !

    If you have an external drive you can hook up to the MacBook Pro I believe there *may* be a solution by getting an image to the MacBook Air.
    On the MacBook Pro with the Windows install disk in the DVD drive fire up disk utility.  Select the DVD and then hit the "New Image" button.  Disk Utility should offer to create a disk image from the DVD.  I would put that disk image on a USB drive connected to the Pro.  You should be able to mount that image when you connect up to the Air.  Hopefully BootCamp will be able to access that all through the process.
    If that doesn't work (the drivers don't recognize the disk image once Windows gets underway for its install), you might try copying the installation files from the DVD to FAT32 formatted USB stick or drive and then using that to install Windows.  I would expect Windows would be able to see the USB FAT32 drive and I don't believe any file on the drive is going to go beyond 4GB. 
    I haven't actually tried BootCamp on the Air, since I just use VMWare which has no issue installing from anything OSX can see.  But BootCamp is going to eventually hand off operations to Windows and that's going to complicate matters--Windows has to be able to see the drive.  While I believe there are drivers that let Windows connect to that drive, there's no way to authenticate (or even load the drivers I expect) before Windows itself is loaded--so it's a "chicken/egg" problem.

    using sqlmonitor i have traced the forms 6i (.fmx),in this case toad additional
    software sql monitor is automatically added the frmbld.exe in application.
    whatever i am doing in forms runtime the sqlmonitor provide the sql query.
    for examble i am opening the lov with the help of F9.Now the sqlmonitor trace
    the sql query for that lov item.so its very helpful to see the query without
    the source(.fmb).
    Now the problem is the sqlmonitor is not added the iexplore.exe in application.
    because it added frmbld.exe only not for iexplore.exe.but the 10g forms are
    running from the explorer.is there any other forms trace method is available

    Dear Friends ,
    I have the belwo issue in my workflow .  Deadline monitoring is not working in my workfloow.
    Details of the Issue : --
    I have a Dialogue step in my workflow , which sends workitems to the user .
    Once workitem has cometo the user's SAP inbox it is in ready status . The user has not taken any action on that .The time perido mentioned in the " LATEST END"  is 2 minutes , so the workitem should show  " The follwoning deadline was missed latest end " for that workitem in theuser's sap inbox .
    But this is not happening .
    I have used this deadline monitoring concept many times , but i do not know wht is happening here .
    Can any body please help me on this to sort it out .

  • Component monitoring is not working sap pi 7.31

    hi friends,
    we are using PI 7.31. after restarting the system suddenly component monitoring in (NWA--PImon) stopped working and even RWB -->component monitor is not working. No users are locked(RWBUSER,AFUSER)...and remaining all webpages are opening except this.Inside Exchange Profile we have user FQDN as well. SLDCHECK working fine and SM59 Destinations also working fine,
    i am getting HTTP 500 connection timed out error.
    please suggest me.

    Exception caught by adapter framework: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
    and regarding notes, i verified all and settings were OK and after PI restart as well no issues.
    please tell me some more places where i can see.

    i had requirement to change the text displayed in the decision step type. I copied that task using pftc and changed the description and i replaced the new task number with old one. the deadline monitoring is not working for the new task .
    Please anybody have idea about why deadline is not working for the new task ?

    Hi Praveen,
    Deadline is failing only for this workflow? Or is it failing completely in the whole system. Just create a small dummy WF with a standard decision step (or some acitvity) with deadline monitoring activated and see if it fails there also.

    Can you just check whether the scheduled report RSWWDHEX are executing properly. You can check it in SM37 for user WF-BATCH. Also check in ST22 if there are any dumps for report RSWWDHEX (for user WF-BATCH).

    In your activity where you have put your cutom task goto the "Outcomes" tab an check if the outcome for your deadline monitoring is "Active" (This may not change but just have a check)
    Also can you let us know what are the steps that you are using in your modelled outcome? Just suspecting if the first step in your modelled outcome is going to error (which is not displayed in log).

  • Secondary monitor does not work after OS X install

    My secondary monitor does not work well after OS X install. The image on my secondary monitor is different even the screen svaer image is different and the mouse can not be seen.

    Try the easy thing first - NVRAM reset:
    Shut down your Mac.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
    Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
    Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
    If that does not work, post back with more info, including the version of Mac OS you are running. How is the external monitor connected, did it ever work, and from what OS X to what was the "OS X install" in your title?

  • Sudden monitor seems not working after change HD

    Hi Folks,
    after I change my original HD which is made by Hitachi to Seagate Momentus XT, my sudden monitor seems not working again, in perviusly if I take my MBP up from table with a strong accelerate, a sound like "ka-da" would be heard from HD because of the arm in HD reset to its initial position, but now with the new HD, this issue has never happened again.
    anybody know why? please do me a favor, thank you.

  • Disable port monitoring task not working

    Hi,
    On SCOM 2012 SP1 the task "disable port monitoring" is not working. When I run it shows a success message but the port\interface keeps to be monitored on scom, the ports that I'm trying to disable the monitoring are members of the Relay Network
    Adapters Group. Is there any way to fix this task or manually stop the monitoring of the port\interface ?

    By coincidence I ran into the same problem today.
    It can be disabled by creating an override where you target the specific port object and set the parameter enabled=false.
    I am not 100% sure this is the correct way but it works. I am assuming the disable port does something similar but I have to open up the task to confirm this.
