UCCX Finesse , Opening any website in a gadget like CAD

We have migrated to Cisco Finesse from CAD.
In CAD we can Open our CRM website inside a Window. Now we need similar functionality in Finesses. We don't need Pop Up but the wesite should open inside the Finesse Interface.
Is there  any method to achieve  it. I searched Cisco Doc but couldn't find the information anywhere.
Thanks

Yeah, it needs basic XML and Javascript coding skills.  You're going to need to be able to figure out how to get the canvas size for the content and resize the iframe or execute the adjustheight feature of the gadget.
Finesse is a bit of a double edged sword.  It is more powerful and highly customizable.  The downside is that it can be significantly more deep (technically speaking) than CAD for doing some basic things.  The easy way to get your CRM app open is the browser pop to new tab/new window.
If you need it in the finesse UI you will need to get the sample app to work properly for your needs or custom-code a gadget to do so.
The problem is most likely that the content height changes after the initial load-up... so the gadgets.window.adjustHeight() function is called when it thinks the iframe content will be X, and then a split second later the content loads to a much larger size.  You could statically set the height of the gadget on load, and remove the gadgets.window.adjustHeight() from the .js file part of the gadget, to take up the entire frame.  That's my quick and dirty recommendation for fixing this.
Getting much deeper than that, I would have to recommend consulting with a Cisco Partner or vendor to help develop a more clean solution.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br />

• Firefox 3.6.8 is not opening any website, while internet explorer is browing the internet normaly.

Firefox is not opeing any website at all. The internet connection is running smooth. IE is browsing the internet normaly. Skype and messenger is also running without any issues but fire fox won't browse the internet at all. It always displays the following message when ever i try to open any website.
" The connection has timed out
The server at en-us.start3.mozilla.com is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

• Scroll bar missing on opening any website in firefox nightly 38.0a1

Vertical Scroll bar missing on opening any website in firefox nightly 38.0a1

On Mac the scroll bars can be hidden and only have them show when you scroll the page so you can see the current scroll position.
The idea is that a touch pad is used that doesn't require the scroll bars to be visible and thus have more screen estate for the browsing area.
You can make the scroll bars always visible:
System Preferences > General > Show Scroll Bar > Choose "Always"
You can try to delete the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.

• I have stopped too many scripts in Firefox and I can't open any websites in Firefox anymore. I just get blank pages. What do I do now?

3 websites gave me this message:- "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete." I chose to stop the script each time. However I have stopped too many scripts in Firefox and I can't open any website in Firefox anymore. I just get blank pages. What do I do now?

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox and any leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu) and confirm all upcoming messages.
#Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the Uninstall Firefox article.
IMPORTANT: On Windows, the uninstaller has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you do not check this option; otherwise all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, user customizations and other Firefox user profile data will be removed from your computer.
After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the "Mozilla Firefox" program folder, located by default in one of these locations:
* (On 32-bit Windows) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
* (On 64-bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#Go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Computer".
#In the Explorer window that opens, double click Local Disk (C:) to open the C:\ drive.
#Find the "Program Files (x86)" folder or "Program Files" folder.
#* On 32-bit Windows, double-click the Program Files folder to open it.
#* On 64-bit Windows, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x86) folder.
#Look for a Mozilla Firefox folder. If you find one, right-click it and select Delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the Recycle Bin.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
#Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
#Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

I'm running Windows 7x64 and Firefox 6.0.2 is taking forever to open any website, the little spinning circle is driving me mad. Once it has opened my bookmarks and history haven't loaded. Once in ten attempts it does load correctly but this is happening less frequently...

Try the Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there. <br />
A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons. <br />
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)
* You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running. <br />
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

• Can't open any website

I can't open any website using Firefox. I tried for 4 hours this morning, just blank, or "loading" (but nothing actually loaded). Finally got google partially open but not completely. Shut down my computer about 50 times, had my internet provider check my DSL connection (working "really fast" they said), 12 hours later, still can't open a damned thing. Upgraded to 3.6.13, still nothing. Finally got Safari open (which i've never used successfully on my emac), and it's super fast. I give up on Firefox.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
* Microsoft Safety Scanner
* MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
* TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

• Safari not opening any website

Since two days safari is either extremely slow opening any website or doesn't open them at all.
My system is:
- Macbook Air 2011
- Mountain Lion
- Safari 6.04
I all my network settings. Everything seems to be normal, incl. Proxies, DNS etc. I even downloaded Safari and installed again. I deleted my browsing history, caches, I evenran a antivirus scan. Rebooted the system...nothing changed!
The problem also impacts some other applications, like Mail, Skype
I have Chrome installed and the same problem there as well. I opened my Windows 8 in Parallels and started Internet Explorer. That worked smoothly!!!
Seems like I'm out of options. At least for now I don't know what to do. Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be and how to solve it.
Thanks for any help.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem.  Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
