UCCX New implementation help

Hi Everyone,
I am fairly new to the UCCX environment i need help in creating scripts.
We are currenetly implementing a project for be6000 with UCCX.
Things i have done:
1. I have already created few users in the CUCM
2. I have completed the CUCM and UCCX integration
3. I have already gone through the UCCS admin guide which is not helpful and does not make sense to me as newbie.
4. uploaded the prompts to UCCX.
I would like to know exact detailed steps of creating agents and assigning skills to them creating triggers.
Also need to create a simple script which works as follows:
incoming call-->welcom msg and language selection-->press1 for sales 2 for support--> play a wait message-->transfer the call to the agent or if agent are busy or not available just send the call to the voicemail on cutomers will.
It may seem quite simple to you but difficult for a newbie.
If you people can help me out i would need step by step procedure for creating scripts and requested things as i cannot make out from the admin guide.
If any script similar my scenario is available on UCCX where in i can just change the prompts would be great.

with all due respect, I disagree. There are a lot of good engineers, both Cisco employees and folks working for external companies.
This forum is not "dry", but if you come here absolutely unprepared with a question like "here's a list of requirements to build a contact center from scratch, give me a step-by-step explanantion", then sorry, we are not going to help you. Why, you might ask. Simple: it would be too much to be explained. A contact center is an advanced topic.
I cannot accept arguments like "my employer won't pay for the UCCX training" or "I am usually doing something else but no one would accept this task so I got it, I don't really care about it, I just want to finish it and forget it as soon as possible". If you want to do something right, then learn it. Yes, even in your spare time.

There is no plus sign and going into optins and changing settings has not worked. I have uninstall FF and reinstall-keeping my personalization-and that was no help.
Right clicking on FF Icon to open a new tab, or going up to FF drop down tab and clicking on new tab both do not work.
Help everything opens a new window not a new tab. there seems to be no way to reset this or to chose a different optin. I just downloaded new tabs at end addon and it didn't do a thing.

as a first troubleshooting step - does it work like normally when you open & run firefox in [[Safe Mode|safemode]] by pressing the shift key while you open firefox (all other instances have to be closed before)...

My ipod touch 5 is frozen on the lockscreen and i cant do anything except restart it and that doesnt hekp. will getting a new screen help? or is there another, less exspensive way? also, it is not connected to wifi.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Problem in creating new implementation for filter dependent badi

Hi Experts,
I want to use badi NOTIF_EVENT_POST.It is a filter dependent badi. It is asking filter type while implementing thro se19. Could anyone pls tel me how to create new implementation for the filter dependent badi. Existing filter type is QMART. is there any problem if i change the filter type?

Hi ,
NOTIF_EVENT_POST is filter dependent and filter values are based on QMART value in table TQ80. You need to specify the filter value ie : QMART value before implimentation , before that check all active implimentations for the same , if u have to impliment on same filter value , you need to deactivate the one which is implimented on same filter value .
You are not supposed to change the filter type.

We have an R/3 system that is going to be replaced with Netweaver; not upgraded, but a new implementation, and thats because there was too much customizing, and we're only using the HR module.
Can we load all of the infotype data from the old R/3 system into the new ECC system? Normally it is impossible to re-create all the history from a previous system in SAP, but for Infotypes, maybe? No? Assuming that the infotype configurations are the same?
I see infotypes as fairly static tables that are only added to by changes, or by certain actions. No changes could be made to these older infotype records, but at least BW could extract all of these and present in an ODS a continuous view of history.
Am I right? Is this possible to load up the infotype tables?
I know there will be problems with double infinity records, but I think we can handle that one.

BI version to install for new implementation

Hello,
I am a technical consultant for a new implementation of BW with the requirement of SEM-BPS. We are considering installing NW2004s with BI Content 7.0. However since it is so new we are wondering about the stability. We are also not sure if we are losing any functionality with the latest version.
My question is should we install the latest BI version or go with BW 3.5 which the consultants are familiar with and has been out there for a long time.
Since BW 3.5 is part of Netweaver 2004, I believe it should be supported until at least 2010.

There are already more than 35 customers live on BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s, with more than 500 active projects.
You definitely should go with 2004s, as it can do everything 3.5 can do but so much more. You can avoid an upgrade in the near term by simply starting with BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s.
You are not losing functionality with the new version. As stated before, there is a 3.5 system "under the covers".
However, note that BI Integrated planning is the new version of the planning application. SEM-BPS will continue to be supported going forward, but SAP will not invest in developing it anymore. Instead, all development resources flow into BI Integrated planning.
Both SEM-BPS and BI Integrated planning are available in BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s, you can choose which one to utilize (and can have a mix of the two running in the same system). Note that there are no automated migration tools between the 2. Would be good to take the SAP going forward plan into account when determining your strategy.

Definition of new search help in report RFBILA00

I have created a new search help which I would like to include in the selection screen of the report RFBILA00.
Does anyone know how to include a new search help in this report which can be used in the screen "Dynamic selections"?

Try by extending collective search helps - like SAKO for SKA1-SAKNR - by appending your custom search help.
Then I think when you select GL Account description in chart or accounts it will call your custom search help inside it.

How did you "move everything" over?
Migration assistance does not handle the iPhoto library well sometimes - the best way is to drag the bad iphoto library from the pictures folder on the new system to the desktop, connect the two systems together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old system to the pictures folder of the new system and launch iPhoto on the new system - it will open and convert the iPhoto library as necessary and you will be fine - once you test the iPhoto library you can delete the one on the desktop

You can get Leopard 10.5 by calling the Apple Online store.
Tell them you purchased a new iPhone and need 10.5 because you have a PPC Mac and cannnot run 10.6..

Your video is encoded in a format that PS doesn't understand. It's as easy as that. AVIs are just containers that can contain a multitude of different CoDecs and settings. You will have to do some reading up on that matter and then use external programs like VirtualDub, MPEGStreamclip and otehrs to convert your file to something PS understands - if that realyl is what you need. Otehrwise simply move on to "real" video editing apps that can handle all that much better.

If you are unable to get to the screen that allows you to enter your password on your Apple TV, you may want to first try restarting the Apple TV. Use the steps in this aricle -

New Search help - Cloning DEBIX

Hi I need to create a new search help which will be a clone of standard search help DEBIX. I have to add two new feilds to the DEBIX which will be STR_SUPPL3(street 4) and LOCATION (street 5). When I copied this particualr search help and added the two fields in it , it dosent seem to allow me to get a new selection screen for it and it gives the same selection screen as DEBIX without addition of these two fields where I can input some value. I did add those two fields to my list of fields that I want on my selection yet it gives me a selection screen similar to debix. Then I tried using a database view instaed of teh search help exit used in it , this works but this made the search help case-sensitive which I dont want .
Can you please advice or suggest what I need to do so that I get a screen with fields that I want and its case-insensitiuve.
Help will be greatly appreciated.

Thats right Greg < i have done exactly that way . I created a Z search help with same fields as DEBIX , added my two extra fields , removed the search help exit , created a new Z view table included those two fields there and then added this new search help in DEBI and assigned the parameters , its working fine , but as I said its case-sensitive , I want to make it case-insensitive , so that it goes by the word and not by its cases.
Please suggest as what needs to be done to accomplish this .

If you will see the phases of implementation in a SAp project like
Project preparetion
BBP(Business Blue print)
Realisation(Base level configuartion,unit testing,iNtegration testing)
Go live and support.
During BBP stage you have to study the existing process of the client and suggest how it will be mapped in SAP.And the process which can not be mapped in SAP will be treated as GAP and may be solved through out side software or through ABAP development.
Finalisining the Enterprise structure.The mapping of the org stru in legacy to SAP to be done here.Since for company thwo important statement are prepared at the yearend like B& S & p&l.These two statments can not prepared unless company code is mapped and assigned to other logistic structure.
Integration testing is another important milestone in an implementation. In this stage you have to see that the FI T code is not only working stand alone but it also works in an integrated scenario.
These are some of the scenario, where you have to contribute as a FICO consultant. Since the data flows from other modules of SAP to FI module , you should take care for that
