UCCX Phone Agent Developer?

I have a company is looking to get a custom application created similar to the UCCX IP Phone Agent, except that would like to get the queue information and ID all on one screen.  Can anyone suggest any developers that may be able to create such an app?
Thanks,
Charisse

  • UCCX 10.5 - IP Phone Agent (IPPA) & Finesse

I see that running CAD or Finesse is mutually exclusive i.e. one or the other but I can't find anything about IP Phone agent.
My question is, if I enable and run Finesse will IP Phone agent still work and be supported?
    Thanks

Yeah. It's not supported. During a UCCX presentation for CUG (or whatever it's called now), I asked if there will be a Finesse supported replacement and was told there would be but that was all that was offered. TBH, I don't get why they wouldn't have one already. I'm looking at new rollouts and when I explain the life expectancy of CAD, customers are opting right away for Finesse. Then I drop the "you have to have a PC at all times" line and the disappointment sets in. Ah well.

  • Failure login "IP Phone Agent" service

Hi! I have an issue. When I try log in the IP Phone Agent service I get an error: "selected service IP Phone Agent isn't active. Select another service IP Phone Agent".
The service URL seems correct: http://ip_address_UCCX_server:6293/ipphone/jsp/sciphonexml/IPAgentInitial.jsp and the Cisco Browser and IP Phone Agent Service is started and has a status "IN_SERVICE".
    What is the problem here?
We use UCCX Premium 7.0(1) and CUCM 7.1.5
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
Go through the tech tip below and confirm the configuration. If every thing seems to be good then it might be a issue with the CTI manager service on CUCM and you will have to restart that service.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_tech_note09186a008029e6d5.shtml
Following is the order  to follow to restart the CTI service
    a) In CUCM cluster first stop CTI service on all subscribers
    b) restart the service on publisher
    c) Then start it on all subscribers.
After the CUCM CTI service is up on CUCM cluster  restart the IPPA service in UCCX
    hope this helps

  • Phone Agent LIED about removing Late Fee

OK, so I had to biz-travel a bit this past Spring, inadvertantly got behind on the bill, paid up in full, incl. LATE FEE--online--June 21st, in the wee hours, before phone agents available. Later that evening, thought "doesn't hurt to ask", got a live agent/rep on the line (Philippines call center), very nice and professional, who, after much time on hold, TOLD ME CLEARLY AND DEFINITIVELY that the Late Fee had been WAIVED, and "thank you for being a Comcast customer, yadda-yadda"... put it out of my mind as another item crossed off my to-do list. So imagine my chagrin when I went to pay my bill this month, ON TIME, only to find that there had been no credit whatsoever, ZERO, zilch.  Basically, they LIED just to get me off the phone, after wasting 10 minutes (9:55 to be exact) of my time. Building loyalty NOT. DSL has gotten MUCH better in my area, and so has SATELLITE, and I'm coming up on the 1-year mark with Comcast... So I'm feeling the BIG SWITCH coming on!  I'll get all the "new customer" deals, and perhaps fewer OUTRIGHT LIES. BOTTOM LINE: If you're not going waive/refund the late fee, just be grown-ups and SAY SO, don't "shine me on" just to get me to go away... 'cause I'm likely to go away for good, and take my subscriber $$ with me.

I am sorry for the delay. I have sent you a private message to assist you further.

  • Problem to login Ip Phone Agent

I'm trying to login in the Phone with the IP Phone Agent and I got this error message: "You request to CTI Server expired,  try again." This happens with any user that I tested. When I try to login with the Agent Desktop on a PC and it works fine.
I'm using Call Manager 7 and IPCC 7.
    I'm using exstension Mobility too,

    Hi Alisson,
Can you check the real time reports in Appadmin and see if that phone is still showing as being logged in from the IPCC Express standpoint?  Sometimes with extension mobility if they logout of EM before logging out of IPPA it may get stuck in a state where it thinks the agent is still logged in but is not.  In this case the only way to restore the service is to restart the Node Manager.
Let me know what you find.
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Wrapup codes is not working in IP PHONE AGENT.

We performed all required configuration in CAD ADMIN/ICM Agent Desk Setting and It is working well in CAD Desktop Edition and Desktop-Browser Edition. But, it is not working in IP Phone Agent. All other IP Phone Agent functions is working properly except Wrapup code.
Based on CAD Documentation, this feature is supported in IP Phone Agent.
    UCCE Version
    UCM =  8.0
    ICM   =  8.0
    IPIVR = 8.0
    Thank you in advance

Can you post a screen shot of CDA showing the IPPA section.

  • UCCX Multiple Phones Agent Predictive Outbound Dialer

Under UCCX 10.5, does the Agent Predictive Outbound Dialer dials multiple phones per record in case of no answer, busy, etc?

MR PIM unable to reserve agent.
Can you check if you have label assigned for MR PIM on the Agent's Device Target?
Do you see the Routing Script gets executed?
"Router Log viewer" will be next thing to monitor when you try to run the Agent based campaign
    Thanks

  • UCCX 7.0(2) Phone Agent HTTP 404 Error

    Hello,
I'm running UCCX 7.0(2) and get an HTTP 404 Error when trying to login with IPPA.   I also get an error when I copy and paste the IPPA login URL into a browser on the CCX server.   I do not see the IPAgentInitial.class file located on the server anywhere?   Is there something that didn't get installed correctly during the uccx install, is this a bug or is there something dumb I'm overlooking?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Glenn

    Hello Glenn,
On my Lab I see the IPAgentInitial.class located here:
    C:\Program Files\wfavvid\tomcat_appadmin\webapps\ipphone\WEB-INF\classes\sciphonexml\jsp
And I see the XML when browsing to the URL:
    http://:6293/ipphone/jsp/sciphonexml/IPAgentInitial.jsp
    You could try this:
    - Stop the Node Manager service
    - Delete (or rename) the folder “C:\Program Files\wfavvid\tomcat_appadmin\webapps\ipphone”
    - Start the Node Manager service
After a few minutes check that the folder has been recreated and try again.

  • UCCX 7 Agent Based Routing - Best Approach

    Hello all,
Our agent phones have two lines.  The first line is the contact centre agent number and the second line is the agent's personal DDI.
I am trying to work out the best approach to deal with calls coming in on the DDI line as I would like these to be part of the contact centre too and be able to report on call activity here.  My initial thoughts are that a call will come into the DDI and if the agent is not available then it will be transfered to the CSQ for that agent.
Would it be better for the DDI line to have a "call foward all" set to the CSQ trigger and then use some enterprise parameter to see the original called number, do a lookup and send this call to the agent whose DDI it is?  I'm just wondering how this is achieved programatically?  Or would a better approach be for all of the agent DDI numbers to be triggers for the UCCX application? This leads to the question how many triggers can an application have?
    Thanks,

This is always a sticky topic. Both of your ideas are possible and there isn't really a "best" option IMO.
If you create a trigger and have agents CFA their lines to it, then it is only a single trigger in CCX to configure.
Agents can turn this off by disabling CFA. This could be good or bad though.
CCX would need to handle redirecting the call to VM if reaching the agent fails.
You remove the ability for the agent to even see the call (call waiting) since the busy trigger is set to one on their ICD line. Their only indication someone called would be if they leave a voicemail.
There is no documented limit of triggers per application.
    Agents cannot turn this on/off.
Everything else would be the same as option one.
You can do this either with a Call Consult Transfer step or attempt an agent-based routing with the Select Resource step. For reporting reasons you would want to use Select Resource though. This also means the agent cannot answer calls at all unless they are logged in to CAD though.
Also, you could choose to route to a CSQ instead of the agent's voicemail in any of these scenarios if you wanted. CCX cannot queue callers to a specific agent and CSQs don't scale well enough to have one per agent. This somewhat depends on who is calling though. A menu option with choices works well: Press one for voicemail or two to speak with another representative."
Lastly, another scenario might be to create an IVR with a "dial by extension" concept where the customers know the extension of who they are reaching and not the direct line number. CCX could do agent-based routing as discussed above there. The advantage is that their direct line would remain untouched. This only works if they would refrain from giving that number out though.

  • UCCX Two agents logged in answered the same call.

UCCX 8.5.1 We had two agents get handed the same call at the same time.  Basically, the caller called in and was queued up and when they both became available it rang both of them and which it auto answered both of them and they were on a conference call with the caller.  We have the call and a time range.
    1. Has anyone had this issue before?
    2. How do i even start trying to figure out what happened?

    Hi
i have seen such issue multiple times and it always turns out to be some config issue , or due to some misunderstanding of the issue
There is no way this can happen , untill unless there is some configuration issue
can you double check any shared extension on Agent phone ( IPCC+NON-IPCC line both ) ?
2: Did this issue happened for the first time ?
and if you can pull CCX engine logs aka MIVR logs , that will be great,
let me know once  you have the logs along with timestamp and i can go through the logs for you.
    Regards

  • UCCX and agent desktop +E.164

Hello - we are running 10.0 UCCX and looking to see if +E.164 is supported.  The issue we have with this is that with agent desktop it does not allow the + sign in the extension field.  IS there a work around for this?

    Hi Ed,
Use of E.164 DN on agent devices requires Finesse. E.164 is not supported with CAD / IPPA.

  • UCCX 7 - Agent Inbound Email configuration

    Hi !
I am trying to configure the new email function of UCCX (not the E-Mail Interaction Manager).
I configured all the needed parameters in the Desktop Administrator web page -> Agent E-Mail Settings -> Global Settings
But in the contact service queue settings, I couldn't see any CSQ ?! this is normal because no one is defined...
Why ? because I don't know how to do it
In the appadmin website, when I try to create a new CSQ, the only CSQ type available is "voice", I cannot choose email ... Do you know what I missed ?
I have all the needed license files, I restarted the server ...
Thanks you so much for you help !
    Thierry

Yes, you need to enable IMAP on Exchange, and you need to give the user account the IMAP feature access.  Use these sample steps to validate that you setup IMAP for your account correctly.
    > telnet host.domain.com 143x login username passwordx list "" "*"x status inbox (messages)x select inboxx fetch 1 fullx fetch 1 rfc822.headerx fetch 1 rfc822.textx logout
Use these steps to confirm your SMTP config (Google Base64 encoding to encode your username and password online):
    > telnet host.domain.com 25ehloauth loginmail from:[email protected] to:[email protected]: Your Subject LineThe body of your e-mail message goes here. You can include multi-line messages by pressing the ENTER key. When you are finished type the "." on a line by itself, followed by theENTER key.Thanks!.quit

I want to make them agents of the system is there anyway to support this? i.e is there a phone browswer version of CAD and can the line it monitor not have to be connected to the system?

    Hi,
There is a third party product that claims to allow agents to use PSTN phones.
    http://www.inxi.com/pdf/VocalMash_Remote_Virtual_Agent.pdf
I have used it myself but may be worth checking it out.
