Uccx prompots not played internally uccx 7

Dear all ,
i have strange case my prompot not played when i call the application with internal CTI route point locally while its working from outside if call comes from gatway , i dont know why !!!
what i did i upgraded ccm from version 7.02 to 7.1.5 all things works normally cti registered and also when call from internall application run but prompot not played
any one had this issue before recommend solution ?

I have an idea, tell your callmanager person to change the ip address back, finish your upgrade, then have them change the ccm ip back again.  You will of course need to point to their new ip once you're upgraded.

  • Calls Not Playing Correct MOH File - UCCX

So, I have the user MOH file playing while the callers are in queue, then when an agent gets selected it should play the network MOH which is simply a ringback tone that I recorded.  There is nothing I can do to get this system to play anything but what is in audio stream 1.  Right now I have double checked that there are no common device configurations selected for anything.  The UCCX ports now have the ringback tone for both network and user moh, the CTI route points all have the same thing, nothing is on the lines.  The default MOH in the service parameters is set for the ringback file to be played for both network and user moh.  So, nothing is set to play audio stream 1..NOTHING!  but that is the only thing that gets played and the only way I can change it is to move the file to stream 1.
I have reset the ip media streaming app service multiple times, reset the moh servers, you name it, I have done it.

Yes, I know where you do it, I have done quite a few of these and never had an issue :-)
My question is do you have MOH sources explicitly set on the device or via common device config?
MRGL on the cti ports does not play a role here, MRGL of the calling device (i.e. phone, GW, etc) drives where (which MOH server) you are being connected to.
Can you post a screen shot of the MOH source as well as the MOH server configuration?
Are you using multicast or unicast, if multicast is the source file and MRG set for multicast?

  • UCCX 7 Prompt playing issue

    Hello everyone.
I have UCCX 7 SR 5 running with CCM 7.1.3. The issue is that 1-2 month ago I deployed a script that plays prompts, connects callersto the agents, etc..Yesturday we noticed that the strange things happen - some prompts does not play at all, some play with noice in the background. After uploading prompts again issue gets out. I wonder why it's happening and could happen again?
    Tnx

    Hi Ruslan,
Its always a better practice of refreshing the prompt \ grammer \script\ application management pages in case you do any changes to any one of them or referencing to these pages.
Checking the logs (MIVR\MADM) will give you a better idea why th eprompt was not getting played.
It usually doesn't happen, in case if you hit this again collect the logs (with the exact time stamp and call flow) and keep it aside so that you can follow it up with the Cisco TAC.
    Hope it helps,
    Anand

  • Internal speakers will not play, only audio choice is "digital out".

15 inch MacBook Pro.  Internal speakers will not play.  Output to headphone plug did work.  Now I cannot insert headphones into socket, it seems to be too shallow.  There is no red glow as mentioned in other posts.  I had the red glow issue on an older MacBook and resolved it by inserting toothpick into socket and triggered switch.  I have used command, option, r and p reset.  Ideas?

That is what I thought as well.  I am not able to check the same headphone jack I was using earlier today, but other 3.5 mil jacks dont fit.  I will try again with the same one used earlier.
Would this also cause my internal speakers to not be recognized?  I had a issue similar to this with my old macbook and was able to resolve it by flipping a switch in the output socket.  Something to try?  I would also assume that a bent contact or switch is not something an average joe could fix.
    Thanks for your quick responses.

My iPod Touch will not play through external speakers when it is docked.  It only plays through it's internal speaker.  All the other functions on the iPod can be controlled by the external speakers (volume, track, etc).  How do I fix this?

    I would try in oreder:
    - Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restoring the iPod via iTunes.  First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

  • IPod will not play any music. Seems like it is in "Pause" mode.  No sound from either the head phones or internal speaker.  I have 418 songs stored and none will play.

  • DTMF not working with UCCX

    Hi
We have noticed that DTMF is not working with UCCX,
    Call flow ->
    PSTN (SIP)-> CUBE - (SIP)-> CUCM - > UCCX
UCCX DTMF is working with IP Phones which are registered with CUCM, But not working with PSTN incoming calls, also we have Unity Connection, for this DTMF is working with PSTN incoming calls,
Please help to troubleshoot this issue,
    Rgds
    $

What this boils down to is that the CTI Ports do not support RFC2833, only out of band over the CTI QBE protocol. This means that CUCM must "see" the DTMF packets. If CUBE offers KPML in the call SDP, CUCM will automatically request this and translate from the SIP packet into a CTI event. If CUBE is only offering RFC2833, CUCM would need to invoke an MTP on the call to intercept the RTP packets containing the DTMF event.
If this isn't working the most likely reason is that there is no MTP for CUCM to invoke, or the MTP doesn't support RFC2833 DTMF interop. The best way out of this problem is to adjust the CUCM-facing VOIP dial-peer to include both capabilities: 'dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-kpml' CUBE, assuming it's doing media flow-through, will do the heavy lifting for CUCM. If you set the DTMF Method on the CUCM-side SIP trunk, CUCM will essentially invoke an MTP for *every* call, in most cases needlessly; that's a great way to introduce problems and break things such as faxing.

  • Generated Prompt Does Not Play

I have a script that is set to play a generated prompt and it does not play.  I have a variable named balance that is an integer populated with the number 500.  The goal is to have the system play back "five hundred dollars" but right now I am just trying to get it to play back "Five hundred or Five zero zero"  I am using the create generated prompt step to read the variable balance as a number.  The generator type is number, constructor type is number, play full.  The argument is name number with value balance and name play full value false so as I understand it, the system should play back "five zero zero" to an output prompt AccountBalance.  I then use the play prompt step set to P[AccountBalance] and in debugging, the script passes right over the play prompt step, there are no errors, it just skips over the step and does not play the prompt.  The override language is L[en_US].  UCCX 9.0.2
    Any ideas?

Without actually seeing your script, it sounds like you're doing most of it correctly.  However, you did not specify the output prompt from the Create Generated Prompt step.  Because you gave the example: P[AccountBalance], I can already see that this is incorrect.  The result of the Create Generated Prompt step would not use the user prompt notation: P[].  If AccountBalance is in fact the resulting prompt from the Create Generated Prompt step, then try simply referencing it in your Play Prompt step as AccountBalance and no as P[AccountBalance].
Also, to play numbers, you don't even need the Create Generate Prompt step:
    N[100] == "One Hundred"#[5] == "Fifth"S[601] == "Six Zero One"

  • Specific Music Files Not Playing Using Shared Playlists

I have over 3600 music files in my collection, and of those, about 44 will not play using the shared playlist on other machines. There is nothing between the files that is common that I can decipher. Some are *.m4a files, some are *.mp3 files. However, all will play in iTunes on the host machine and will play fine on the myriad of iPods that I have. If an attempt to play is made, the song information comes up in the heading on iTunes (song name, duration, album, etc...), but the song never starts playing. Any help or insight would be most appreciated.

    Hi
What happens when an agent puts a caller on hold is nothing to do with the UCCX server, prompts on the UCCX server, etc...
What is played is controlled by the 'User Hold Network Source' configured on the agent's line, handset, device pool etc; and which MoH server it is played from is determined by the MRGL assigned to the 'listening' device (e.g. gateway typically).

  • DVD drive does not play some DVDs properly

    Hi,
My Macbook was purchased in 2007; So it is a bit old. I haven't used the DVD drive very often.
I bought two new DVDs from Amazon recently. However, when I played them in my Macbook using DVD Player, the disk pauses and skips very often, making it impossible to watch the DVD. In addition, the Player would display the "Skip over damaged data" warning.
I thought it was a problem with the software (DVD Player); so I installed the VLC player. Problems occurred as well. Disk would pause and then simply stop (the screen closes).
I thought that perhaps it was the problem with the Amazon DVD disk. So I played some other DVDs in my Macbook, with both DVD Player and VLC Player. There was NO problem at all with the other DVDs.
Then my conclusion was that the Amazon DVD was faulty. I requested a replacement, which they sent to me promptly within a day.
However, the same problem occured. The replacement DVD would not play properly in either DVD Player or VLC Player in my Macbook. It would pause and skip very frequenntly.
Now I began to suspect that maybe the Optical Drive was faulty. So I brought the DVD to my school and tried to play it in two computers: one PC (with VLC); the other Mac (DVD Player). To my surprise, the DVD played flawlessly in those two computers.
Now my conclusion is that the optical drive of my Macbook is faulty.
However, after doing some preliminary research on the internet, I find that replacing the internal optical drive is a difficult process. The alternative seems to be buying an external drive. But there seems to be concern about booting the computer (when the need arises) from an external optical drive.
    Questions:
    1. Is my conclusion justified? (That I have a faulty optical DVD drive)
    2. If the optical drive is faulty, then why do some DVDs play with no problem in my Macbook?
    3. Would you recommend replacing the internal drive or puchasing an external optical drive? What are the advantages and disadvantages to both?
    Thanks a lot!

Thanks again. I went ahead and deleted the DVD Player folder and the plist file.
The result is that it appeared to temporarily improve the playback of the DVD. For the first two hours, the DVD paused considerably less and each pause was of a relatively short duration. There was much less skipping. So the playback was almost tolerable, if I lower my standards.
However, after two hours, it reverted to its old ways. The pauses and skipping became so frequent and long (as before) to make the DVD simply unwatchable.
I don't know what to make of this.

I opened my iPhoto library today which was stored on an external hard drive and several of my videos now will not play at all. The weird thing is that each file shows a duration of 1 second and when I open them it just shows one frame. What the !&%$#@ Where did my original video files go?

Sounds like a good plan, you can never be to safe and having a second External HD is safer than one.
The only thing that I would do different, is setup the 3T as my TimeMachine Backup and then erase and move my Photos, Videos and perhaps even iTunes Media to the 1T. That way you will have room to backup both the Internal Hard Drive and the 1T External Hard Drive to the 3T using TimeMachine.

  • Audio not playing in CC 2014

    Hi all,
I have seen a few threads with the problem I am having, but not exactly.  And still no solutions.
So often, like 3-4 times a day when I open an existing project or even start a new one the audio will not play from any of the clips I am using.  This happens both in the timeline and in the source viewer.   I can see the waveforms, I can see he meters going, just can't hear anything
    Here's what I have done:
Checked audio hardware in PP and on my system.  Audio plays fine out of the system and the audio hardware is set to the correctly.
Changing the audio hardware output does not help.  I use a Bose Speaker system, but changing to internal speakers does not help.
I am waiting the required time to allow the project to conform.
The problem arises in every clip in the project, which include a number of different sources.
I have trashed preferences in PP.  Did not help.
The only way I can get it to work is to reboot, and even then that does not always work.  Sometimes I have to reboot a few times.
    SYSTEM
    10.8.5
    MacPro 2x2.66GHz 6-Core Intel
Current version of Premier Pro CC 2014
Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm having an issue where some of or all of the audio tracks just drop out during playback (green bar). I have to stop/start the playback and all is fine until the next random time it does it.

My 30-pin dock is connected to my lightning to 30-pin connector which is connected to my iPod touch 5g. But my iPod will only charge, and will not play music through my dock, only through the iPod's internal speaker. Help please!

Have you tried resetting both the iPod and dock? To reset the iPod, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
To reset the dock, unplug it and plug it back in.

  • ITunes not playing videos or movies

iTunes isnt playing video's or movies, but is playing the music of them. I need help! I just purchased music video's and they are not playing, only the sound is.

This problem cropped up for me yesterday. I had just copied a new video to my iTunes library and was testing that it worked properly, but while the sound was playing, the screen was black.
Pausing/pressing the Play button resolves the issue, until I select a new video/movie to play, when I have to do it again.
I'm running MacOS X 10.6.6 and iTunes 10.1.1 (4). I tried reinstalling iTunes, with no luck. I also tried the old mainstay of replacing the Preferences file, but that also didn't help.
There is ONE new wrinkle to this situation. Yesterday, I had installed a new app named AirView to stream videos over AirPlay to my iPad. This works fine, but after this, the issue cropped up, suggesting an AirPlay issue.
I have two iMacs, so decided to try this situation on the Kitchen iMac and played a video on this other iMac just fine, video and sound. I then started up AirView on the iPad and initiated the video stream to the iPad from the Kitchen iMac. The movie played fine on the iPad. I quit AirView and went back to try the video on the Kitchen iMac, and yes, the video now failed to display until I reselected Computer from the AirPlay menu at the bottom of the screen, or used the pause/play solution, even though Computer was still selected as the default in the AirPlay menu. Doing this once seemed to be enough to resolve the issue for playing all videos on the Kitchen iMac, but not on the Office iMac.
The only other difference between iTunes on these two iMacs is that one (the Office iMac) is running its videos from a FireWire 800 attached 2TB hard drive, while the Kitchen iMac's contents are on the internal hard drive.
Deselecting the AirPlay option in Preferences/Devices to start videos correctly on the Office iMac is not a solution, since this iMac serves as our home server for our Apple TV.
Since I have a practical option, however, and since this issue doesn't affect playing videos remotely using AirPlay, this is now a buggy annoyance, but no longer a problem for me.

  • IPOD 80GB Classic not playing all songs but they play in ITUNES

After I synch all the songs are displayed on the IPOD but some will not play. They just skip to another song or album. This does not happen in ITUNES only on the IPOD

    *Skipping songs*
The iPod seems to fail to play all of the occasional track that iTunes, and indeed other PMPs, are happy to play. There is probably some minor technical error in the internal structure of the file which is normally ignored by other playback software but causes the Classic to bail out.
You may like to try scanning the files with MP3 Validator which can find & fix some internal MP3 errors.
Some users have also suggested that completely removing all id3 tags and then replacing the information can be a solution. This can be achieved in iTunes by selecting an affected track, right/option clicking and using the option Convert id3 tags > None. Since some files may mistakenly have more than one tag you may need to repeat this action. Once you have confirmed that no tag is present you can replace the tag information using Convert id3 tags > V2.3 (I believe it is recommended to avoid using V2.4).
Personally I've have found files for which these solutions don't work. In this case the workaround is either to re-rip the tracks or get iTunes to re-encode the file, e.g. convert AAC to MP3 or vice versa and sync the newly encoded file to the iPod instead. (Grrr - I see the convert file to format feature has disapeared in iTues 9.1 so this might not be so easy if you've upgraded.) Because transcoding will cause a loss of fidelity you should keep your original file so that if a future iPod firmware resolves this issue you can put your original files back onto the iPod.
