Uccx redirect fails to PSTN

Hey all,
I have a odd problem. I have a script that redirects the call the PSTN for on-call purposes and it works fine if you call from an internal line, but an outside line it fails.
I have the CTI triggers and call control group with UCCX_CSS that has long distance and local partitions for PSTN access.
Which log can I check to see why its failing?
Thanks,
Mike

When I used an internal phone it works no problem. When dialing from the PSTN it fails. I looked at a MIVR log and saw an error saying redirectcallingsearchspace = default  My CSS on the CTI and Trigger are PSTN reachable.
Any ideas?

  • Webmaster tools change of address 301 redirect failed using domain forward

I'm having trouble with webmaster tools recognising our domain name change.
We've recently updated website and done a name change from www.qldtshirt.com.au to www.qtco.com.au. I am using domain forwarding so qldtshirt.com.au forwards to qtco.com.au (aswell has with www.) and every thing works perfectly.
    www.qldtshirt.com.au/products/polo-shirts/cool-dry-fabric forwards to:
    http://www.qtco.com.au/products/clothing/polo-shirts/cool-dry-fabric
We have about 4000 301 redirects setup in URL Redirects:
    /products/business-and-corporate/desk-and-office/100-organic-cotton-pencil-case to
    /products/gifts-incentives/desk-and-office/100-organic-cotton-pencil-case
    so on and so on....
I've verified all sites in webmaster tools however when change of address from www.qldtshirt.com.au to www.qtco.com.au webmaster tools presents this error:
"301 redirect failed. We detect that the root address of your old site (www.qldtshirt.com.au) does not yet redirect to the root address of your new site (www.qtco.com.au). For more information use the Fetch as Google tool."
It works perfectly fine for the end user, anyone know why and how to fix please?

Hi, I have found this same situation.  Did you have any luck finding a solution?
    Thank you

  • SubmitEditData() - redirect fails...

    Hi,
    I've got a weird error.
In the portlet customization code (JSP) I call the PortletRendererUtil.submitEditData() method. I managed to get it work before, and does work for all my other portlets, but doesn't for the recent one.
Although, all the customization values are sent to and saved by the personalization manager, the browser doesn't get redirected to the edit renderer JSP page. It starts to display a kind of page with the logos etc. on the top of it instead.
This portlet shares the provider with some other customizable portlets. I'd appreciate any ideas how I could track down this issue.
    Thanks,
    Peter

I have partial page rendering in all pages with af:showOneTab. So, to prove if redirect failure is related to PPR. I picked one page with af:showOneTab and got rid of all components with PPR so that it became PPR free. However, redirecting still fails if user clicks on any other tab of af:showOneTab after session has expired.
If user clicks say on any of the crumbs presented on the page to navigate to parent pages, the redirect succeeds and he is successfully pushed to home page.
Long story short, redirect fails whenever user clicks on any of the af:showOneTab tabs after session has expired no matter if page has or has no PPR components.
I hope I answered your questions.
I know that af:showOneTab uses PPR and that may explain why redirect isn't working, not sure. However, I wish we can have a workaround for this problem.
    Any thoughts ?
    Thanks
    Sam

  • Using Firefox 19.0 WIFI logon fails page redirect fails

Attempting to use Firefox at a variety of airports and hotels fails. The initial logon page is displayed but then the following pages which are redirects fail. Usual message is "Page not Found" Using the captive IP address does not work. Various combinations of settings do not work. AP has been associated and an optimum MTU has been determined via ping to the default gateway.

You should not need to disable antivirus to connect.
I assume you are not having Firefox block all redirects. You can check that setting here:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced > General > ''uncheck'' "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
What are your connection/proxy settings in Firefox? If you choose "Use system proxy settings" then Firefox should use IE's settings. Or if you choose "No proxy" then Firefox should default to your wi-fi connection.
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced > Network > "Settings" button
Can you think of any add-on changes you might have made since the T-Mobile days? A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
If you can load sites normally, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.

    Hi,
Please mention the UCCX version when seeking assistance from support community. As the backup is failing at the LDAP component so it points to the following bug

  • UCCX Backup failed

    Hi everyone,
I have a UCCX backup failed issue with one of our clients.
It's a UCCX 5.0(1)-SR02ES08-Build083. When i tried backup, the bar stopped at 5% and the error message is like this:
Unable to contact Call Manager. Please make sure that the Call Manager is running and connected to the network com.cisco.archive.impl.component.cluster.ClusterArchiveComponent; nested exception is: com.cisco.archive.ArchiveException: Fail to acquire bootstrap mutex; nested exception is: com.cisco.app.ApplicationException: can not acquire ClusterMutex; nested exception is: com.cisco.config.ConfigException: Get config record - error: catch cisco.config.ConfigException UnmarshalException; nested exception is: javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: Premature end of file. - with linked exception: [org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.], refer to the MCVD logfiles for more details
Can anyone give me some idea?
    Thanks
    James

    Hi James,
If backup is still failing after following Hoai's advice; please check to see if a lock has caused an issue with a previous backup. You can open appadmin and go to Tools > Backup and Restore > Status. If the backup has not run for sometime you most likely have a lock. You can do the following
    1. Go to 'C:\program files\wfavvid\ClusterData\Default\' folder on CRS server;
    2. Rename 'com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.LockConfig' folder to 'com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.LockConfig.bak';
    3. Restart nodemanager
    Then try a backup.

  • UCCX redirect call when the connect to the agent fail

Hi all, I want to redirect a call to another number when the first agent (and the only one in my case) don't answer after N seconds.
I put the redirect on a failed case under "connect to resource" but seems the script skip this failed step because the call is queue again.
Anyone have a works example that use a failed operation when an agent don't answer?
    Thanks

If you are looking to queue the call to one specific agent, under "Select Resource" instead of using a Routing Type of "Contact Service Queue", instead use "Resource".  You can the specify the resource you want the call to go to.  Set the timer to X number of seconds and if the call fails, then use the redirect step.
The way you have it now, you have the Call Redirect step under the "Selected" portion of the "Select Resource" step.  It should go under the "Queued" leg.  By leaving it the way you have it now, the call will only redirect if the call fails during the "Connect" step.  It doesn't mean it will redirect if the agent is not available (that would be the "Queued" leg).

  • UCCX Redirect Step and Local Route Groups

    Hello,
    CUCM 9.1.2
    UCCX 9.0
I have come across a situation in one of our UCCX scripts with the call redirect step where it is forwarded to a local cell phone for after hours calls. The number in the Call Redirect step is 9, followed by the 10-digit number of the cell.
While the call does redirect successfully from the UCCX script, the call always uses the local route group of the original calling party's device. So, if the call from an IP Phone to the cell is going out the gateway where the cell number is a local call, the 9 followed by the 10 digit number works fine.
If it's a site across the WAN, the call redirect to the cell fails because it's using LRG of the calling party's phone and thus it needs to be a long distance call.
I kind of thought the Service Parameter Local route group for redirected calls being set to "Local route group of last redirecting party" might have addressed this, like it did for call forward all situations, but it does not seem to be the case.
Would the recommendation be to use Call Consult Transfer instead of the Call Redirect step? This seems to work, but was wondering if there were other ways to approach it.
    Thanks for your help,
    Frank

    Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the reply. The Call Consult Transfer step did resolve my issue, so now the call is always coming from the local site and using the LRG of the DP of the CTI ports. I previously had it set up using the Call Redirect step in the script with 9 followed by the 10-digit number, and thus it was kind of not working when calling over the WAN from remote sites.
I should have mentioned that we recently did an CUCM / CCX upgrade. In CUCM, all call restrictions were previously done at the device level, nothing on the line. Now we have the line doing the call restrictions. So the Call Redirect step worked fine in the old environment with the 10-digit number, not so much in the new.
But I like your suggestion about +E164 even better, since we rolled that into the upgrade as well. I tried putting the full +E164 number in the script using the Call Redirect step. Works perfectly from all sites.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Wired Hotspot portal redirect fails

I'm working on wired guest access from a 2960-X switch stack running 15.0(2)EX4.  The ISE 1.3 policy delivers the access-accept with the redirect URL, but the switch doesn't seem to do anything with it.  The client can do DNS resolution, so there is web traffic to redirect.  What I get is "Connecting".  The ISE can be reached directly from the client, so routing and ACL seem to be OK. It also doesn't make any difference whether the name or the IP address of the ISE policy server is used.  Anyone else seen this behavior?
Here's the session info as seen by the switch
EF3211# sh auth sess int gi6/0/12

    Runnable methods list:
           Method   State
           dot1x    Failed over
           mab      Authc Success
    The ACL looks like this
    Extended IP access list Blackhole
10 permit udp any any eq domain
20 permit tcp any any established
30 permit ip any host 130.189.120.62
40 permit ip any host 130.189.120.63
50 permit icmp any any echo
60 permit icmp any any echo-reply
70 permit udp any eq bootpc any eq bootps
        80 deny ip any any

Problem I believe is the Redirect ACL. The ACL isn't used as access control, it's used as a filter to say which traffic is redirected. So you want HTTP and HTTPS traffic to be redirected. Should look more like the following:
    deny ip any host <PSN_IP>
permit ip tcp any any eq www 443 8443
    deny ip any any
So the Permit is actually saying "redirect this traffic" to ISE for CWA and the deny is saying "dont redirect". The first line is there because there used to be a bug where any traffic towards the ISE box turned into somekind of redirect loop so I've included it just to be sure.

  • Redirection fails on Oracle10gAS on Solaris 8 - SPARC

    Hi all,
Am facing a strange problem, where the serverside redirection is failing on Oracle10gAS installation on Solaris 8 (tried on two setups). Am getting browser "Page cannot be displayed", also tried with a simple "hello world" example, it fails.
The application works fine on Oracle10gAS on Windows & Linux and other App servers like websphere and weblogic.
Are there any configurations to be done OC4J-Apache on Solaris box, apart from the basic installation, for the application to work?
Any help provided would be highly appreciable.

The problem got resolved by changing the Apache httpd.conf file property "ServerName". The hostname while installing Solaris was incorrect, which was picked by Apache during Oracle10gAS installation.
    ServerName <hostname>
Find the description as given by Apache below for ServerName property:
    # ServerName allows you to set a host name which is sent back to clients for
    # your server if it's different than the one the program would get (i.e., use
    # "www" instead of the host's real name).
    # Note: You cannot just invent host names and hope they work. The name you
    # define here must be a valid DNS name for your host. If you don't understand
    # this, ask your network administrator.
    # If your host doesn't have a registered DNS name, enter its IP address here.
    # You will have to access it by its address (e.g., http://123.45.67.89/)
    # anyway, and this will make redirections work in a sensible way.
    # 127.0.0.1 is the TCP/IP local loop-back address, often named localhost. Your
    # machine always knows itself by this address. If you use Apache strictly for
    # local testing and development, you may use 127.0.0.1 as the server name.

  • Passive Authentication redirection fails for WP8.1

The WP is an HTC 8X running OS Version 8.10.14219.341. The Lync client on the phone is running 5.6.1308.0.
I get the following notification/error message that the certificate is not issued from a trusted CA:-
    https://twitter.com/shawnharry/status/489872294807089152/photo/1
The Lync client is redirected to ADFS as normal, as pAuth is enabled on the pool/registrar but the ADFS form does not load because of this certificate issue.
The certificate chain is definitely trusted by the phone as when i browse to the sign in page on the ADFS server using IE on the phone there are no certificate prompts and the certificate is shown as trusted:- https://adfsserver.domain.com/adfs/ls/idpinitiatedsignon.htm
    (I'm using ADFS 3.0 on Windows 2012 R2)
This problem only presents itself on WP 8.1. Iv tested with Windows 8.1 Lync Windows Store App, iOS 7, and Android KitKat against the same ADFS server and Lync Installation with no issues at all. Ironically
only Windows Mobile presents with this issue. From a device point of view WP 8.1 is up to date as is Lync. There doesn't appear to be any setting in IE that allows me to bypass this erroneous prompt.
    Any ideas?

    Hi scurla,
For WP8 root certificates need to have HTTP URLs in the CRL (Certificate Revocation List). If root certs doesn’t contain these CRL attributes than the certificate won’t be accepted by WP8 and
    sign-in would fail.
Currently the WP8/8.1 Lync client requires the ability to locate and access the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) for the Certificate Authority (CA) which issued the server certificate to the
Lync server that it attempts to sign-in to.  If the client is unable to validate that the certificate issued to the authenticating server has not been revoked then the client will display a generic error that it is unable to contact the server.
Additionally if the standard Windows Lync 2013 client is installed on a workstation which is not a member of the same Windows domain as the Office Web App server then it will be unable to participate in PowerPoint sharing sessions.
This issue only impact who use the internal CA, as public certificates issued by trusted third-party CAs all provide access to their CRLs by default.
To create a Certificate Revocation List Distribution Point for your internal Certification Authority, please refer to the following article.

I have a very simple javascript redirect call that works on iOS 7 and earlier, but fails on iOS 7.0.2.  All it does is set windows.location = <some URL>. Has anyone else seen this issue or have a solution for it?

  • UCCX redirect external busy

    Hello,
I want to make in a UCCX 8.5 an external redirect in a script.
The problem is that when the external phone is busy the script should go on.
I 've tested this with a internal number and there i can use the busy case in the redirect step.
When I type in an external extension the call goes to this extension when the script come to this point.
But when the external extension is typed in and this extension is busy the caller hears the busy tone called the uccx application.
    I have a h323 Gateway and CUCM 8.6
In the q931 debug I can see the user busy.
Is there a way that on an external number the script goes on when this number is busy?
    regards
    Marco

    Use consult transfer step instead.

    Hi Jefferson,
I would start by looking at the CCX engine log to see why the transfer is failing. I assume that CTI port's CSS has the partition of the agent phone? The MIVR log should tell us why it is failing.
