UCCX report language

Hi all,
I would like to create UCCS historical reports in a language other than the client OS language and other than the CAD language. Does anyone know how to change the language in which the HRC reports are generated?

BW Report Language differs EP Logon Language

Hi,
I am using a Portal BW Report iview.
The Portal Logon Language is German ("DE")
SAPSSO2 is used for Single Sign On.
The iview BW Report Language is set to
"sap-language=EN&bsplanguage=EN&..." (BEx Query part)
But the SAP BW system displays the report in "DE" (German, i.e. all english Texts are missing)
In the sniffer trace, I can see that the initial http request is done with "sap-language=DE&.."
Any idea is welcome

We had an Open SAP Call regarding the same issues.
Sap Support suggested to us to implement SPS11 on the BI System to get this solved.They will allow to overwrite the language via query string in SP11 (which also means that you can overwrite it via the respective iView property).
Feedback From SAP Support:
Please understand that SPS11 is a prerequisite for providing this new functionality and we won't be able to downport it to a lower SPS.

UCCX Reports Discrepancy.

Hi,
I have a problem in UCCX reports there are report which i have generated are as follows.
In both the reports calls volumes are having very much in CSQ agent summary 15 call and in details csq is more then 200 calls.
please let me know if anyone can help out ?.

Did you ever get any traction on this quesiton? I have a customer that has a single line on the agents phones for both non and ipcc calls and somehow the totals for Outbound IPCC and Outbound Non-IPCC calls are different. I'm trying to figure out how that can be and what the specific definition of an Outbound IPCC call actually is and how it differs from an Outbound Non-IPCC call.

UCCX Report Customize - Timezone issue

Hi guys,
I am developing some stored procedures for customizing UCCX reports and I am facing with Time zone issue:
- In UCCX historical database, UTC time is used.
- In HR Client, users (as normal) will want to use local timezone.
My question is: can we pass the timezone information to the stored procedures transparently to end user? This information (time offset) will be needed for Daily/Monthly reporting.

Try to configure reason codes that describes the call complete status. then you can use Historical reporting to generate a report based on those Reason codes.

BIP with 8.1.1.6 - Pass Report Language as a parameter in popup applet?

Hi
I know we can influence the report language by changing the language in User Preferences -> Report Parameters. I was wondering whether it is also possible to specify the language in the report parameter popup applet?
With BIP on 8.1.1.6 I can check the "parameters" option in the report definition to make a "popup" appear prior to report creation, and specify all kind of parameters, but I didn't find a way to change the language.
I tried parameter names like "ReportLanguage" or "Language" but none seemed to work.
Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I have digged further and found Doc ID 1226744.1 with a user interface enhancement regarding runtime parameters, it seems you need to set a report with Parameters option set to true. Here's the section with instructions to change this option:

Report language problem

Hi all,
I have a strange problem and hope that someone can help me out.
My system consist of a BW and a BO (3.0) system. I have one user (A) that exist in BW and BO, when I run a report in CR i can see the dutch descriptions of the materials. To be able to do this, | had to "verify the database" and then change the language in "set database location" from EN to NL. When this is done, the description of the material appears in dutch.
In BW I created another user (B) which is a copy of A and then imported to BO. When I try to change the language from EN to NL, with the same process I described before, I cannot see the dutch description.
One thing I need to mention, when I change the language in "set database location" in for user A, I can see 2 lines, the first line shows the language property = EN, underneath this line another line appears showing the language property = NL.
These 2 lines cannot be seen for user B, it only shows the line with property = EN..
Furthermore, my regional settings for language has been set to NL.
Hope that someone can help me out, cause this is driving me crazy.

Narrative Report-Language Localization

Hi,
I used some Service Request custom fields in narrative report and those fields are not getting transated whenever i change my language.
For instance,when i change language to dutch,the service request custom fields in narrative report not translated(field's name shows like Text_2,Text_3 ) and the reports throws some error.
Anyone having experience in this issue,give suggesstions.

Be careful spending time on a Narrative Report if your end goal is to print to PDF. Currently Oracle CRM OnDemand is deffective when it comes to printing Narrative Reports.
For example we designed a customer contract spending weeks on formatting and design only to find out that the Printer Friendly PDF option scrunches the entire report into 2 inches. Aweful!
Oracle response to the enhancement request has not been much better.

Default Reports Language

Hi,
I am kinda new to B1 so pardon me if my question is basic.
I installed B1 2007 on an XP machine having its regional options set to English US.
I created a new company supplying Canada as Localization, and English as default Language.
Q1 - Why would all default reports print in French?
Q2 - Is there a way to change them all (to English) in one operation?

I did create a new database using USA as base country, and all templates were initialized correctly.
Now. I remember from my studying path that the choice of Country at the Company (database) creation level also influences others settings as well, such as Tax (VAT vs Tax Group vs Tax Code).
After having created this USA company, I changed the Country field (System Initialization, Company Details, General Tab) to Australia (for instance) and noted that the Tax related fields had not been modified.
Is there a chance that I might loose some important settings in the future if I make an habit of initializing Canadian companies with USA settings?

UCCX Reports: Outbound on IPCC and Outbound on non IPCC difference

We have been testing the reports for a client and we came up with a few weird reporting stats for the Agent Call Summary Report on the UCCX.
When a Transfer is completed ,Agent A (1003) completes the transfer to Agent B (1000), the outbound call from Agent A is reported as "Outbound on IPCC".
However when a you place only a consult call, Agent A (1003) calls Agent B (1000) and goes back to the original call the oubound call placed by Agent A is reported as "Outbound on non-IPCC", which is kind of weird for me.

Did you ever get any traction on this quesiton? I have a customer that has a single line on the agents phones for both non and ipcc calls and somehow the totals for Outbound IPCC and Outbound Non-IPCC calls are different. I'm trying to figure out how that can be and what the specific definition of an Outbound IPCC call actually is and how it differs from an Outbound Non-IPCC call.

UCCX Report - Zero Call Duration

Hi,
We are using UCCX 7.0 In Histrocial detailed CCDR report we able to get the report for outbound call also.
But issue for the Outbound is calls which is not answred by the remote party also having some seconds duration in the report
Because of this we are not able to identify the matured calls & non matured calls for the outgoing.
Any way to do this

Hi,
Try to configure reason codes that describes the call complete status. then you can use Historical reporting to generate a report based on those Reason codes.

UCCX reporting

Hi Guys,
We have a small UCCX setup in our company which consists of around 8 agents. We are facing a peculiar issue, every morning all our agents login into the Agent desktop software, at this point of time we have a separate display where it shows the realtime report from UCCX regarding the agent name ready or not ready state, call presented, handeled etc. Now what is happening is only one agent when he/she logs in the call presented automatically shows as 1 even through no call has come while others will be 0. Please let me know if anyone faced a similar issue or is there any way we can troubleshoot it. Thnx in advance

Hi Udupi Krishna,
Please see if the call is stuck in UCCX, you can check it in Real Time Reporting tool. You can also clear this call if its stuck using RTR.
You can also try restarting the UCCX (maintainance hours) to get rid of this stuck call.

Crash Reporter language

If an app crashes and Crash Reporter launches, over the last few days a bunch of the text is in a strange language.
I only have English installed as a language.

UCCX reporting on menu options

I know this subject is discussed many times as per the below sample discussion on this forum

My scenario is that there is about 9 menu options with recorded announcements and when the caller wants to talk to agent then they press * (which is the 10th option) and it connects to the agent. The Set Enterprise Info step is there before the select resource step for the agent option. Many of the calls in the standard report are showing as abandoned because many of the callers listen to the various menu messages without connecting to agent. How can I modify my script to show the report for those menu choices? The Set Enterprise Info wouldn't work and I saw a suggestion on this forum about writing to external database but I am not clear on that.

Hi Abebe-
I understand what you're trying to do from that perspective. I don't understand the part about manually setting the time when the call is terminated. Yes, you could pull that information from the historical database, but it will be more painful than I think it's worth.
From the start of the script to the point that you get your 'end time' should be the duration you're looking for as well as the time that the caller terminated the call. Place the 'end time' step right after the label that your On Exception Goto step is pointing which should be your database steps.
Can you upload the script or screenshots so I can take a look?
