UCCX:Secondary node is in partial service & testing the HA mode

Hi,
Running UCCX 8.5 in HA mode.
Primary UCCX services are INSERVICE status, but in Secondary UCCX service status (UCCX engine ans subsystem)shows PARTIAL SERVICE.
Let me know how to make it INSERVICE.
Also let me know any procedure to test the HA mode is working fine or not!!!
Help me out!!
Thanks & Regards,
Krishna

Hi,
Please expand the Engine under the arrow and check as to which subsystem is in partial service, this will help determine.
-Also make sure to turn on the engine debugging under UCCX serviceability.
Restart the servers during a maintenance window
-Collect the logs from the RTMT tool
-As after the restart the MIVR LOGS should clearly display the cause for which subsystem is in partial service
-Some of the most common reasons can be :
-Application manager service in partial
-CMT telephony subsystem might be in partial too
Also is the setup HAOWAN?
Please send over the CUCM version as well.
Once I know which subsystem is in partial service,I can point you in the right direction
Thanks,
Prashanth

  • UCCX IPIVR 7 Editor in partial service

    Hi,
    Anybody got any pointers on:
    1) Why the UCCX engine stays in partial service when the UCCX editor is the only item showing as not runing. Surely the editor is only run when required so shouldn't impact the engine status?
    2) When the editor is run up, the engine stills stays in Partial Service as the Editot Bootstrap Manager goes into partial service. I've looked at the MEDT log file with debugging enabled and all I can see is that the engine is waiting for the bootstrap manager to move out of partial sercice.

Hopefully I have my answer to this question.
The editor itself has no impact in the status of the engine, which is what I had expected/hoped ... so it a red herring in my case an not relevant. The reason I have partial service in this scenario is because of bug ID CSCtb77537. I have yet to confirm 100% this is the case as I need to upgrtade the CUCM the 7.1.3 SU2 to confirm it fixes the issue.

  • CTI route point and CTI ports not registering - UCCX 10.5 and CUCM 10.5 - PARTIAL SERVICE

I'm trying to integrate CUCM 10.5 and UCCX 10.5.
For some reason CTI route point and CTI ports are not registering on the CUCM and the status of the UCCX is "PARTIAL SERVICE".
On the UCCX Cisco Unified CCX Engine is in status "PARTIAL SERVICE" and the Unified CM Telephony Subsystem shows status "OUT OF SERVICE".
I tried with completely new installation of UCCX twice and got the same result twice.
But when I tried integrating UCCX 10 with the same CUCM 10.5 from above everything works fine and all the ports are registering right away.
In all the cases I have done the same configuration.
The versions of CUCM is 10.5.2.10000-5.
The version of UCCX is 10.5.1.10000-24.
The version of UCCX 10 with which it works fine is 10.0.1.11001-37.
Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

No I haven't. Unfortunately I don't have a 32bit Excel at the moment to try.
Can you please tell me this: I'm installing a new BE6000 system that came with this problematic version of UCCX (10.5.1.10000-24). I have been testing during the weekend with 3 versions of UCCX:
    -10.0.1.11001-37
    -10.6.1.10000-39 and
    -10.5.1.10000-24
I got the best results with version 10.0.
Can I install that version (10.0) in BE6000 instead of the one that came preinstalled (10.5.1)?
This is my first BE6000 installation and I'm not sure if this is OK?
I installed a newer version of CUCM than the one that came preinstalled because I hit bug CSCup60269 but I'm not sure If I can go to a lower version for CCX.

  • Cisco Unified CCX Reporting Server in Partial Service

I can't seem to find anything specific on this, so I'm hoping one of you can assist.
I have a client who is running UCCX 8.0(2) in failover HA, and they just noticed that one of their UCCX servers has the Control Center - Feature Service
Cisco Unified CCX Reporting Server in Partial Service.
The node that is reporting this to be in Partial Service is the standby node.
I was trying to compare with some other clients I have, but it appears they have actually deactivated this service, so I have nothing to judge against.  No other services Feature or Network are in Partial Service on either node.
Do you know if the node reporting this is a standby HA server, then should this service show as Partial Service.  The active node (Master) shows this service as IN SERVICE.
    Thanks!

I believe this is used for the mobile supervisor, that's the Iphone app.
It is disabled on all our systems. If you are not using the Iphone app I suggest you turn it off.

  • Creating Secondary Node for Oracle Apps

    I've got an interesting issue.
Background -- We're running Oracle Apps 11.5.9 in an n-tier environment.
Servers -- Running HP-UX 11i (for both DB tier, Application tier).
Goad -- Implement MWA server. (mobile supply chain).
We started an implementation before and it had problems. The MWA devices (wireless barcode scanners) kept on freezing and we could never find the processes to kill. The only way to fix was to restart the application tier (uncool). More testing went and we found lots of patches to apply and did so. Things seem to be working fine, but I'd like to create a secondary node JUST for the MWA devices.
What it boils down to is creating a secondary node for Oracle Apps that ONLY the mobile devices will use. All other users will use the primary node. Once I've found that the MWA devices are working fine, then I'll load balance, but not for now.
I'm fairly new to Oracle Apps (1 year exp -- boss just left ACK!) and I'm not certian on how to create the secondary node and make it unavailable to all other users.
    Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
    Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Jeremy,
Did you manage to solve your MWA devices (wireless barcode scanners) freezing by adding an extra node? there is a client that is experiencing the same problem, I have trive to increase the number of ports from 10200, adding 10202 & 10204 when I start the Mobile application and increasing memory from mx1024 - ms512 to mx2048 - ms1024 & all is fruitless, we rebbot our MWA everyday at night as the time goes on during the day approx 13h00 all hell break loose, slow response, freezing of barcode scanners, everything stops.

  • CUCCX Partial Service

by mistake I added this post to Unified Communication Applications forum and it should here, below is what I wrote in my previous post
    =======================
    =======================
    Hi all,
I do not have enough experience in CUCCX , and I faced a problem today and it was solved but I just need to make sure that what I did was true.
I adjusted a script based on one of the predefined scripts in CUCCX and I uploaded to the server. the server becomes in Partial service and the application manager was out of service.
I was using CUCCX script editor which is installed on the server it self. and I saved the file (save as) to the same file where all other scripts are there and then the application manager became out of service. once I removed the file from the file the application manager went to in service and every thing is working fine.
    Does it make sense ?

The Script Repository is held within the database. The engine replicates the files contained within the repo to the local disk for faster execution at runtime. The user is supposed to interact only with the repo through the product UIs, not the file system copy. This rule isn't feasible to enforce in Windows but is in Linux (i.e. version 8.0 and above). Cisco has locked you out of the file system entirely, save one directory that scripts can use as a temp/work directory.
Additionally, you modified the contents of the system scripts folder. These files are never supposed to be modified, only used as templates. I'm not at all surprised that the engine crashed when you changed them.
Going forward you can open the icd.aef from within the editor (File > New, choose ICD). Save the modified script to your desktop or another user-level folder. Finally, use the /appadmin UI to upload the script into the Script Repository and associate it to your application.

  • After Installing SQL Server 2012 Service Pack the RDL reports do not work

I installed SQL Server 2012 Service Pack on backEnd sharepoint and also on BI Server that host Reporting Service.(Before installation everything was working properly)
After this installation the RDL reports do not open and I receive this error message.
The permissions granted to user 'domain\username' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)
I also receive the same error message on changing DataSource, Parameters and subscription.
I should mention that, I am using Reporting Services in the Integration Mode. I want to open and modify RDL reports from SharePoint and inside the SharePoint Document Library.

    Hi Hedayat,
    Thanks for posting your issue,
To solve this problem you have to grant your SQL Reporting Service Application Pool
Account (whatever is running your SQL Service Application, see Central Admin -> Manage Service Application -> SQL Server Reporting Services)
Full Control to the web application that report is being deployed to in your particular case.
Or you could just use the powershell command below:
    $webApp = Get-SPWebApplication –Identity http://yoursharepointapp
    $webApp.GrantAccessToProcessIdentity(“domain\SSRSAccount”)
Also, check out below mentioned URLs for more details and fixes of this issue

  • UCCX 8: Log Manager partial service

    Hi all,
I'm running UCCX v8.02 SU3 in HA mode. In my master server, the Log Manager service is always showing as partial service (even after UCCX Serviceability restart) but its working fine (In Service) in my slave server.
What process is this impacting when its in partial service? Which logs should i be analysing to determine the cause?
    Thanks!
    -JT-

I have the same issue except my master is fine and the secondary server shows Log Manager in Partial service.  TAC told me that was OK.  I would like a better answer.  My master server is on a MCS server and the secondary is on UCS VM platform.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    RQ

  • Application manager / Partial service - UCCX 8.5

    Hello there,
Generally I am able to troubleshoot a subsystem on partial service looking at the MIVR logs but at this time I don't see anything.
I restart the UCCX engine and immediatly I download the logs, I see how everything is restarted but I don't see the reason why the app service remains in partial service.
Any idea with that? I attach the logs just in case. It's a HA configuration so I am attaching the logs from both servers.
    Thanks in advance

  • IPCC - One node in Partial Service

We have an IPCCX HA system where one server is in partial service, but all CTI ports  are correctly registered and are working, except for one.(RP 3008)
The logs show a problem with CTI RPs being out of service.
Additionally,I am using Cisco Contact Center Express  7.0(1)SR05_Build504   This contact Center is integrated with CUCM 7.1.3.30000-1.
As soon as I restart the server (IPCC), the problem is solved and it looks like nothing is wrong
Why did it failed ,Any idea?
    Thanks for your help.
    Logs attached .

    c.carrion,
One issue I see right off the bat is that your CUCM version isn't on the UCCX compatibility matrix for your release.  I've attached a copy below for your reference.  It is often seen in these cases that there are little "annoyances" that just come and go until you are on a fully supported release.  I would schedule an upgrade for your CUCM to get to 7.1.3.39200-4 which will be compatible.  From looking at the logs, I believe your root cause is the JTAPI versions just not meshing.  If you upgrade, this will resolve.
One other item you could check is to be sure that the NIC that is actually the primary NIC on UCCX has it's binding order first.  To see this, open the network section, select "Advanced" and look at the bindings order.  Also, verify things like speed/duplex, host files, etc.  Finally, you may try to run a Data Check from the CM Telephony section of UCCX and see if that identifies any issues.  Have this fix any issues found and see if that helps.  I hope this can point you in the right direction, let me know if you need further assistance.

  • Query with BAPI_PO_CREATE1 for Partial Service PO.

    Dear Experts,
I am unable to create a Partial Service PO with BAPI_PO_CREATE1. No matter the Qty specified, in the field POSERVICES-QUANTITY; the Service PO gets created with the Qty specified in the RFQ.
For your ref, the sample ABAP code is as below:
"The PR has 2 line items, a coded Service and another uncoded service.
"The internal table service_data is filled by us for testing.
    LOOP AT service_data.
    MOVE service_data-introw TO poservices-line_no.
    MOVE service_data-extrow TO poservices-ext_line.
    MOVE service_data-srvpos TO poservices-service.
    MOVE service_data-order_qty TO poservices-quantity.
    APPEND poservices.

The BAPI executes successfully and a Transaction Commit is also used for PO creation.
Kindly, let us know for any specific fields that needs to be passed to POITEM, POSERVICES or any other BAPI parameters that I have missed out.
    Regards,
    Yogesh.

    Dear Yogesh,
The moment you give the reference of a quotation for Service PO Creation, the Service PO created will always be of the quantity of the quotation. That's because in Service PO Quotation maintenance, the gross price of the service is calculated as rate*quantity. Now, the addition of this Service Gross Price of all the sub-line items of the Service becomes the Basic Price for the corresponding line item.
Hence, any change in quantity in the quotation and the PO created through BAPI with quotation as reference will be in contradiction.
The only option is to create a PO and then amend it.
    Regards,
    Pranav.

  • Web Service Test in SE80 does not work with internal Table

    Hello,
I have created a web server based on a function module. It works fine when the server is invoked from outside (.Net or SOAPUI).
However, when I test it in SE80, (open the Server and then F8), it shows error message:
Access to the table ref. node 'Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM' outside a loop
(Germany Zugriff auf den Tabellen-Ref-Node 'Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM' außerhalb einer Schleife )
The test xml is generated from SAP, I just fill the data as following:
This XML is absolute correct. Why item ('Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM) is outside a loop?
Is it a bug from SAP?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards
    Dianlong

    Hi Dianlong,
Please check if SAP note 1132501 is relevant for your ECC release. If you apply the note, you may have to re-generate the web service from the function module.

  • Unable to register secondary node on Cisco ISE 1.1.4

    Hello,
I have a problems with registering the secondary node on Cisco ISE 1.1.4.
I did all like described on User Guide:
    - Primary ISE is promoted to PRIMARY.
    - DNS entries are added and resolved for both ISEs
    - The "Certificate Store" on both ISEs are populated with self-signed certificates from both ISEs.
Durring the registration process (from Primary node), when I add the IP, username and password for secondary node, an empty popup message displayed with only button "OK".
So, I cannot proceed to far and don't see the error indicated what's wrong.
In attachment - screenshot with popup message.
    I use IE 8.0.6001.
The lattest patch (1.1.4.218-7-87377) applied on both ISEs.
Is somebody had the similar problem?
    Thanks,
