UCCX: Silent monitoring is not working and recorded file is also not playing

Hi,
Running UCM 8.5 cluster with UCCX 8.5.
In CSD, silent monitoring is not working.
Windows XP OS is running on supervisor desktop. when i select the agent
then the silent monitoring icon will highlighted once i click on the icon,
after 5-7 seconds i am getting an error "Silent monitoring session has
failed".
Not able to playback the recorded files:
I can able to record and the file size is 2.6mb for approximate 3min
recording.When i tried to play from supervisor record viewer it is playing
but no voice is coming. And i downloaded using play & save option and
tried to play the .wav file but i can't hear any voice.
Problem is while playing back the recorded file. I can able to see the
recorded files in the UCCX.
Please help me out!!!

It's likely the same problem: CAD is not forwarding packets to CSD or the CCX recording service. Two common causes for this are:
The phone is not spanning to the PC port or does not allow PC Port VLAN Access. Change these options to true on the phone's configuration in CUCM.
The NIC of the agent's PC running CAD is not processing 802.1q-tagged Ethernet frames. It must not drop these and pass them into the Windows NDIS stack for CAD to get them. Google is your friend here; this commonly requires registry changes to make the NIC process the packets.

  • Google Maps GL not working and 3D developer view is not being shown

    im using FF16 and i have a 1GB Nvidia 525M Graphic card in my laptop. Im not able to enable google GL maps in FF but the same is working in Chrome. Im also not able to use the feature to view webpages in 3d view, which when i tried on other pc's is working.

    Have you tried a PRAM and an SMC reset? They're longshots, but don't take long to try.

    Have you run Apple Diagnostics from the disc(s) that shipped with the computer?
    Since the problem occurs in all browsers, it still sounds like a video hardware or video RAM or maybe a software issue having to do with layers and rendering.
    The map layers aren't getting rendered, or if rendered, aren't getting displayed.
    Do you have any browser add-ins? Pop-up blockers?
    Since you have two video chipsets, it's possible that might be related to the issue.
    This non-Apple website talks about switching between chipsets on the various MacBook models so equipped, and points to a free 'donationware' program for the menubar that lets you easily switch between chipsets:

    Trying to think of other software that might help pinpoint the problem, does the iPhoto Slideshow 'Shatter' template work? Working properly, it 'shatters' images into several color layers and rotates them in and out to build and deconstruct photos.

    This happened to me today on the iPad; I put in the password 4 or 5 times. I began to think my account had been hacked. I tried again on my iPhone and it worked first time. Then I tried again on the iPad and same thing—worked first time. Maybe just a temporary glitch in the server?

  • HT201401 Volume buttons are not working and the volume option is not showing up on screen for me to be able to adjust it. My silent switch is not turned on.

    I went to turn my app on that plays my music at night while I sleep and the volume buttons on the side of the phone don't work. The volume slider isn't even showing up on the screen in any of the apps that have audio available.  I have restarted the phone numerous times, looked in settings, made sure my phone is up to date, and made sure that the "silent switch" is on.  I checked to make sure that I can hear the alarms I have set go off, but the volume isn't working any where else on the phone.

    Do the basic troubleshooting steps: Restart, Reset, Restore using a backup, Restore as new.  (See User  Guide, Appendix B)

    I tried installing 10.4.6 onto my 1.83 GHz MacBook Pro to fix a problem I had with my system preferences, and when trying to restart my computer, it would not restart. I had to wipe my hard drive clean and reinstall 10.4.5, which started working fine until some of the keys in my keypad randomly quit working. The keys "z x c v b n m , . " will all randomly start and staop working, making it an absolute nightmare to type anything at all.     Welcome back.
    Try this. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx1046comboforppc.html and download the update. Try to reinstall it. If you get the same message, create a new admin user account, log into it, and try the installer again. If that works, then the problem's with the original user account. Then, run Software Update and bring it up to 10.4.8. If still no luck, then use the install disk that came with your machine and do an Archive & Install installation, saving user and network settings—this will require running Software Update to get up to the latest version.     my cousin, is having a problem.
    all she can tell me is, she plugged her new ipod into pc....and she got some message saying "restore"......she clicked yes........
    and now.... her ipod is cleaned out.....no music in it......she had thousands of songs in it......
    also..... her itunes library in itunes on her pc...... when she clicks a song, it says unable to locate file.... so no music is playing in itunes.
    i think she says most of the music is also wiped from her itunes library.
    she checked her itunes location, in my documents etc... and the folder is empty she said.......
    although thousands of songs were on her ipod only, and not on her itunes, as she put songs on from her mates libraries, and also her computer died recently and she lost her old library....
    sounds bad right?
    system restore on windows xp wont help with it?
    ive got her to shut down and reset ipod..... and still..... nothing in there.....
    any ideas what shes done? or is anything recoverable?

    I think you've misunderstood. What I mean was to drag a track from iTunes into a folder that is on your desktop as opposed to dragging directly to the desktop.
    In any case, I guess you can try deleting your preferences from ~/Library/Preferences to see if that helps. There are three of them…
    com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist
    com.apple.iTunes.plist
    com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
    I would just drag them to your desktop so you can always put them back if it doesn't work. Saves having to redo your settings. Oh yes, don't foget to quit iTunes before moving/deleting/replacing anything.

    I have a Leopard desktop 10.5.8 and I have trouble with my Email Apple MAIL draft folder. First of all after I typed my draft and sent to draft, the folder would not open at a later date to send. In all I have 10 messages, mainly test which I cannot delete from my Draft folder.
    My draft system is now working but I cannot get rid of the  10 messages which sit in my INBOX and DRAFT folders.
    These messages appear in Application - Mail but they will not go.
    How do I delete, or is it best to use My Disc 1# and delete all my software and replace with the Disc in order to have a new MAIL program?
    Any advice would be welcome.

    Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
    Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup),  it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
    Move this Folder to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
    Move this file to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
    Reboot.
    If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
    Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist.

    First turn off all caps it's considered rude and as if your shouting.
    try a reset, no data loss.  hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait until your phone boots back up.
    then check voice memo again.

    This is due to a local network issue. The signal strength on the device doesn't account for any issues, you need to go to istumbler or similar to get a network report (to see full representation of signal, noise, and nearby networks. Trying ethernet will also help rule out wifi issues. You are also free to test on another network (preferably a controlled one like Apple's)

    Something happened in the last day with FF. IE downloads files correctly. FF Delicious bookmarks open up a page with blue links that look like an outline but they are not my links. My downloads do the same. No virus.

    That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title in the main Bookmarks menu.
    The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.
    You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.

    I bought and dowloaded PSE11.  However, I don't think I disabled my virusware.  It took an especially long time to download and I don't know if it downloaded correctly.  My blur tool does not work and my "guided" options are not there.  What is the easiest fix- unistall and remove the serial number then reistall using same serial number?  My question with this is- how many times can I do this, and or is there an easier fix?  I have PSE11 and LR4 and I am going back and forth between which one to use.  I really need all the options to work from PSE11.  I am not a great IT person so I need the answer in basic easy language to understand please:-)

    The blur tool doesn't do much under the best of circumstances, so it may be working and just not making enough of a difference to see. However, for the problem with guided edit, reinstalling is probably the easiest solution at this point. Activation is tied to your hardware so you don't need to deactivate PSE if you don't want to, but it won't hurt to deactivate it. There is a limit, but for reinstalls on the same machine it's unlikely you'd ever get there, and if by some chance you did, you just contact activation support to reset things.

    It sounds like you restored from an old back-up.  Did you back-up just before your software update?  It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
    In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

  • Photoshop CS4 64 bit  - Clone Tool does not work (and other tools)

    Hello.
    I have been using Photoshop for many years going back to v5.  I had used Design Prem Suite CS4 for the past year on an XP machine.  All worked fine.  I recently moved to WIndows 7 (64 bit) to get the add memory usage.  CS4 installs both 64 and 32 bit versions on Windows 7 64 bit.  So far all good.   Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.  I am at a dead end and really have no confidence in getting Adobe's help.
    My tools are working erratically, especially the cloning and healing tools.  I can't even use Photoshop in its current state and this has been going on now for weeks, no help from Adobe on my lates support ticket post.
    I canonly say that the clong tools is all over the place including but not limited to:
    * When I sample and then click to stamp, lines shoot across across the image as it I clone a line not a single sample area. These stamps can be the length of the enite image.
    * when I sample, then click to stamp, some the stamps occurs on some other part of the image.
    * when I sample and the click to stamp, nothing happens. I have to click several times.
    * when I sample and then click to stampl, the prior location I stamped has the clone applied
    There are more, but this is to just give an example.
    Notes:
    * I have trashed preferences at least 20 times and the problem immediately reappears
    * The problem happens in both the 32 bit and 64 bit version of PS running in Windows 7 65 bit
    * The problem occurs with OpenGL tuned on and off
    *  I have installed the latest PC patch 11.0.1
    * I have updated my latest NVidia drives. They are current.
    * I uninstalled Photoshop (kept the rest of Suite) and that did not work, and the same problem reappeared.  I am not uninstalling the complete suite but the reinstall has error (that is a separate issue)
    * I have triple monitors running off 2 GeForce 9800 GT cards.  These worked flawlessly before upgrading to the Windows 7 64 bit configuration.  When I upgrades, I replaced the processor, motherbaord and moved to 12 GB ram. The graphic cards are the same.
    Other tool issues:
    * I have similar problems with the healing brush
    * sometomes the text tool acts strange. I will click to enter text and a large area opens to enter text instead of just the cursor positioned ready for text.  Then other times it works normally.
    * the move tools sometimesacts strange. For example, if I try to move some test, the text jumps and moves of the image and I have to find it to drag it back on the image.

    All I can say is...  Boy am I glad I have an ATI card that just works (and that's including Photoshop CS4/CS5 32/64 bit)!
    One thing I'm not sure was mentioned above...  Try changing your Advanced OpenGL preferences to "Basic" or even turning off OpenGL to see if it affects the issue.  Also try disabling the Show Overlay function in the CLONE SOURCE palette.
    Best of luck getting to the bottom of these problems, guys.  If they run on too long, consider switching brands.
