UD for a Material in HU-Storage location

Hi Gurus,
I have situation where Stock posting tab is not coming while doing the UD for a material
Process flow is below:
1. Creation/Release of Process - Inspection lot get created since early lot creation status REL CALC
2. GR of Process Order is done in MIGO in Hu storage location
3. Inbound Delivery is created (WM integration)
4. Inbound Delivery is processed with TR creation/Confirmation
5. Stock can be seen in Q under HU active storage location & Material document is created in IM . Inspection lot status is same
6. Result recording is done against Lot Status INSP RREC
7. While doing UD. Tab for Stock posting is missing. Status UD ICCO CLAS STUP
This inspection type has following settings: - tick post to insp stock, Insp with task list , early lot creation , auto UD etc
Not sure what I am missing some settings since that is HU storage location

I tested as per suggestion but that is also not working basically no inspection lot is getting created for the GR after completion of WM transaction
I have tested my senerio for non-HU storage location (doing GR in no-HU storage location ) & that works correctly . After UD i was able to see tab for stock posting & stock get posted successfully
I think need expert advice who has work on QM-WM integration part ... can we able to post the stock from Quality stock from HU storage location to unrestricted use using only IM transaction ( QA11/12 ) or do i need to perform some additional steps in WM ?

I have created storage location for raw material,semifinished and finished materials.Is there any way that system should not allow any goods rceipt in any other storage location.ie There should be no goods receipt for raw material in semifinished storage location.

Hi,
While creating material master record you will be mentioning the S.Loc.If you are trying to do GR other than this storage location it will be giving the message that this material is not maintained in the specified S.Loc.
In this way you are restricting particular material to particular S.Loc.

Material stagging at storage location level

Hi Guys,
When i do material stagging at storage location level (MF60) material moved from one storage location to another storage location 311 and material document is created in system .
I want to do it through two steps that is material issue from one location and receipt in other location
how to do it , what configuration need to be done .
I do not have in WM in scope of implementation.

Dear,
The movement type 313 removes the stock from the first storage location and in conjunction with this movement type yuo use Movemnt type 315 which in turn places the material in the receiving storage location.
In OMBA you will see Goods Issue Doc Type..
If you click that in the next screen , you will find Tcodes & Doc Type...
Now Go to that T code & Press F4 in the Movement types filed...
So the Above Doc type is applicable to those Mvt types..
These transactions are attached to the Movment types in OMJJ transaction, select the movment type click on Allowed transactions page.
So based on the transaction attched to the Movement type the document type is determined for the Movement types.

I would like to know if there is a report to display material documents but in the same screen display storage location from and storage location dest.

Material Stock at storage location for particular date!

Dear Friend,
I need a table or bapi which gives stock for particular storage location on particular day. That is MMBE and if you go into detail list (shift+f7). I want same thing.
I have tried in MARD table, but it gives stock of a material for most current date.

MRP requirements (material = "no dispo", storage location deleted)

Good morning,
I have two different problems and hopefully, you can help me.
- I see stock information in MMBE for a storage location I deleted
- MD04 shows requirements for this storage location after it was deleted and the material was set to "no dispo"
How can this be?
I remember a report from SAP, which clear all wrong requirements for a material, but I did not find it. Anyone remeber the report??

If by saying "I deleted the S/L" you mean that you deleted that entity in customization, this is a NONO practice. By deleting it from customization you are not deleting all the database references that exist in many objects (tables) as well, and this leads to inconsistencies that in some cases are not manageable.
I suggest that you you recreate the S/L, name it something like "DELETED-DO NOT USE", and gradually make sure that all references (like in your example stock, requirements, etc.) are gone.

Material transfer through storage location

Dear Sir,
Our company following process is incomplete, kindly correct us please if we are following wrong method:
Current method
1. We have two storage location one is 2101 (for production) and other is 2001(for warehouse).
2. Whenever we receive the material GRN is been done in storage location 2001
3. Then production people while doing packing plan, ask for material from storage location 2001 to 2101
4. For this production people create reservation through mb21 and reservation number gets created.
5. Then warehouse people transfer the material through mb1a through movement type 311
Issues:
1. Reservation list remains as it in mb25
Solution required :
1. How can warehouse people can transfer the material through generated reservation number so that reservation list can be closed.
2. Or any other method if we are following some wrong system

Is the manual reservation created for movement 311? and also, MB1A is for GI; MB1B is for transfer. Why are you using MB1A?
Also, when they do MB1B are they referencing the reservation?

I have a question about production order confirmation
If i enter the storage location in goods movement page automatically come for movement type
ex.
I want to issue the material to scrap location.if i enter material and storage location SCR movement type should come 531.
Is it possible ?

531 movement type is used for receipt of By-products. So in your case if a particular item you want to receive in scrap location by the use of 531 then you have to define the item as by-product.
If you define the material as by-product then during production order confirmation at goods movement screen, the movement type will be automatically 531.
The main material (manufactured material) will be received using 101 and the by-product will be received by 531.
Please follow below steps to define the item as by-product:
- First change the BOM of the header material (the material which is manufactured) and enter the item with negative quantity.
- Run Re-read PP master data for the production order.
- Try confirmation.

Movement type for blocking to a different storage location

Is there any movement type by which the stock should move to blocked from unrestricted but to a different storage location. In the mvt type 344, the stock moves from unres to blocked but it is in the same location.

344-Transfer posting blocked stock to unr.-use stock - reversal, is reversal of 343-Transfer posting blocked stock to unrestricted-use stock that TP Block to TP unrestricted.
Better use 343 for transfer posting from Block to Unrestricted.
If the reciveing storage location is not avliable while TP with 343 then goto OMJJ enter 343 movement enter , duble clikc on
Field selection (from 201)/Batch search procedure and then goto Details(Lens) and then in the Select group double click on "Transfer Postings" and then make receiving storage location as req/opt entry and save.
Then try do to TP for different storcge location for same plant with 343.

Delivery split for unrestricted and vendor consignment storage locations.

The situation is I have unrestricted stock in a storage location STL1 (100 EA) and vendor consignment stock in another storage location STL2 (100 EA). When a sales order is created for 130 EA, I would like to issue stock from STL1 for the quantity available (100 EA) and remaining quantity (30 EA)from STL2 on the same delivery or different deliveries but I want to identify both S.Locs determined at Delivery level. My plant is not WM managed and materials are batch managed.
I did try configuring stock determination group/rule and used 'MALA' as my storage location determination strategy but unable to achieve the same. I believe stock determination works at the time of PGI and not sure if works for batch managed materials.
Any suggestions/help is much appreciated.

I have already configured "Stock determination in SAP".
Header Table:
Sorting: Item table (Ascending) , Rank order - Priority 1
Quantity Distribution: Qty proposal - 1
Item Table:
Special stock indicator     S.Loc     Priority Indicator

With the above configuration, my delivery is not getting split into multiple items.

Material Transfer from Storage Location 2 Storage loc

Here Client want to transfer Material from 1 loc to another. Std T Code is MB1B with Mov Type 309. But here we have to enter material, qty,& batch no.But client's requirement is that he dont want to enter all these things.He want to select the material,batches collectively sothat seperate entry should be minimised. Is there any functionality through which we can transfer the selected materials?

First of all 309 movement is ussed for Material to material transfer
like our friend said for storage loc to storage loc. you need to use 311
Now when you go to MB1B then goto Edit in that you can see default value
enter your default value , so after that you need to choose only material and batch
collectively
