UDF is not showing at Forecast Form - Row Level

Hi Expert s,
I am facing a hurdle while showing UDFs in the Forecast Row Level .
The UDF is created . but at the Forecast Form , it is not showing at the Row Level as well as it is not showing in the Form Setting .

Unfortunately SAP has given the provision but it seems it does not work.....
It does not display UDF at Forecast level......

Sales Order does not show up at the resource level.

Hi guys,
I have a flour mill of having 4 processs (resources)
1). Tempering (cleaning).
2). Milling.
3). Blending.
4). Packing.
I have two identical sales order. One has been through all the process (resources) and showed in the DS Planning board but, other one has not shown up there. It happens to me couple of times that such sales order do not show up at the resource level. Where should I check and correct? Aslo which way can I follow up these missing sales order? and What shoud I do if this situation happens?

Since you asked the question, I can assume that you don't have an "S" number. speak to the person in your company who administers your SAP Service Marketplace account (this is usually someone on your Basis team), who can obtain one for you.
Or, you can try on your own. A few stars have to be in alignment for the second method to work.

BLOB column's image is not showing up in Forms

Hi All,
I am using Forms 10g. I created a default form (using wizard) for a table that has a BLOB column. Form builder automatically created an image item that corresponds to the BLOB column. The problem is that when I run the, the image item is always blank, and is not showing any image. Although I know that the BLOB column contains valid images, which I can see using PL/SQL developer tool.
The form is compiling without error, and also, there is no runtime error message. So without reporting a compile time/runtime error, the Form is not showing the image. Can anybody help me plz??? this is urgent, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am simply using the Forms default "EnterQuery" and "ExecuteQuery" buttons. I have not written a single line of code. That is, just using the forms default funcionality.

Amended Columns in IR not showing in Edit Form

Hi,
I Created a IR report using A form on a report wizard. I have now changed the underlying query in the IR and it is showing correct. When I click on Edit, the records are not forwarded to the form. Even the new fields in the IR are not reflected in the form. Where do I update the Underlying query for the Form?

Calendar Lov not showing in custom forms on EBS 12.1.1

Hi,
Previously i worked on Oracle Forms 6i but at present i am working on Forms 10g (Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)) with no patch.
I build the custom forms and compile that in custom top on EBS 12.1.1 but the calendar lov is not showing.
Build Step.
Used TEMPLATE.fmb for scratch.
Field name -Order date, Item Type- TextItem, SubclassInformation- TEXT_ITEM_DATE, DataType-Datetime, FormatMask -DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS,
List Of Values- ENABLE_LIST_LAMP, Validate Form List- No
Add 'KEY-LISTVAL' trigger in ORDER_DATE field and write 'calendar.show;' Trigger text but it's not working.
If Above steps apply on forms-6i then calendar lov populated on EBS 11.5.10.2.
I know this is very old topic and found lots of post for this topic but none of them help me.
Could any one help me if anything i missed for Forms-10g with EBS12.1.1 ?

If you implemented the Calendar LOV in EBS12.1.1 through forms 10g then please give me your steps.
AS per my understanding the below is the required steps.
1. Item Type - Text Item
2. Subclass Information - TEXT_ITEM_DATE
3. Data Type - Datetime or Date
4. List of Values - Enable_List_Lamp
5.Add key-LISTVAL trigger and written calendar.show;

UDF Value not showing in SQL

Dear Experts...
Here is a strange situation in my DB. I have some UDF on A/P Invoice for TAX details print preview.
UDF Values are properly showing in SAP but not in SQL in same table, Same document they are blank in SQL.
I can't understand why SQL does not showing me Value of UDF.

Run below query in query generator for specific document number and check if udf values are shown or not?

The Customer not showed in customer form

Dears,
how are you ??
I am in a problem .
I used hz_party_v2pub.update_person API to update the customer first name and last name .
It updated already on table hz_parties and i checked it .
But when i query it from the customer form ,it not showed me any customer ...
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??
How to solve this ??

Business rules do not show up in forms

We are using EPM 11.1.2.0. Recently, we have noticed that any new business rules we have created and associated with certain forms-do not show up in the forms.
We have verified security, location etc for the rules. Somehow they don't show up at all.(even admin cannot see it in workspace).
But they still exist if we look at rules in eas console.
Anybody had similar issues?

We recently had a somewhat similar issue. We opened our Workforce planning app to the users. Even though we turned on business rules on EAS and admin was able to see the rules on forms, the users did not. Restarting Planning services solved the issue.

UDF is not updating in journal Entry rows

I have created an UDF in journal entry and trying to insert the values in it based on the transactions.
But the UDF is not getting updated through coding where as same query if i run in the SQL database it is getting executed properly and UDF is getting updated.

Migo is not showing the excise tab - header level and item level

i have created one PO with excise and i have created MIGO with only capture excise invoice, in MIGO before saving the document system is showing the excise basic, cess and higher education cess in excise tab, header level as well as item level. After saving the document, if i go to dispaly view of the MIGO document system is not showing the header level as well as item level excise amount. The tab itself is not appearing. Can any one help me on this.

There are two kinds of statuses, system status and user status.
You can only influence System status if you execute a business transaction that changes the system status.there
are four system statuses open, In process,Released and Completed.
User status can be created as additional information to the system status in any numbers.But for this you
need to define a status profile which would further be assigned to transaction type(header status) and
item categories(item status).
The header status is independent of the item status. One exception is the status Completed.
If all items have the status Completed, the header status is also set to Completed.
For defining a status profile you need to go to
SPRO>Customer Relationship Management>Transactions>Basic settings>Status Management.

Display Item not showing Text when form is opened in Forms 6i

Hi,
I am using Oracle Forms 6i & I have taken DisplayItem control on a canvas and want to show some text over that e.g., "Your Name". For that I set 'Initial Value' property of that control in Property Palette to "Your Name". But I am not getting any such text message when I run the form nor it is coming at form design time. Can anyone please let me know where I am missing and how to display text in forms using DisplayItem control?
Can you also suggest from where to learn these basic things about Oracle Forms 6i?

Yes, just as you did with the initial value property, but you have to "initialize" the record in that block. Navigating in runtime to the block is a way to achieve that, so you have to put the "focus" in the block with built-in GO_BLOCK . For example, in the W-N-F-I trigger.
Another way to put the focus there, as indrabudiantho sugested, is dragging the block to the topmost place in the list of block in design time. Thus, when you enter your form in runtime, the focus will go to the first navigable item in the first block as defined at design time.
About the resource docs, I think there was a "Oracle forms developer guide" bundled in paperback with a quite old version of the product which wasn't too bad. Not the "forms builder reference" , which is more or less the online forms help, but the guide. Also, there must be commercial books about forms & reports.

Date picker css not showing in web form

Hi there, I have a web form and added the date picker.
When you try this within BC admin it displays very nicely, yet when Ive inserted the webform in the html page,
the css styling for the date picker is not included.
Can anyone help me here so that I can add the css to style the calendar to look a bit prettier!

The date picker, once loaded, will get a bunch of inline styles applied to it from BC. This can override your CSS if you are not specific enough. If you give your declarations an important:

    background-color: #333 !important;
Should override their inline styles.

Custom property values does not show in XML forms!

Hi All
I have created a property in the portal which has multiple values, I have added these values in the 'Allowed Values' section. Then in my XML form I reference this property in a combo box. I have restarted the j2EE engine and opened the form and the properties are not displayed in the combo box it is blank!
Does anyone know why?

Rented Movies not showing up in Front Row

So I was able to "rent" 300 from the iTunes store. I accepted all of the terms and agreements. The download starts. I go to Front Row and look under movies and there is no 300. There is also no section for "Rented Movies". Is this a mistake? Does the whole movie need to download before it will show up?

I'm having the same problem. I contacted Apple tech support about it through the response button on my itunes receipt. All I got was a link to other tech support pages with no relationship to the issue. I sent another complaint to the tech support link on one of those links and all I got was a response with more useless links. I'll give them credit for promptness, but they didn't even acknowledge the Front Row issue, let alone offer a fix. (And yes, I did update to the new Front Row that came out this week before trying the rental.)
Did Apple just blow it and forget to add rentals to Front Row? Tech support sure does seem to be in the dark.

Insert, save, etc.. button's not showed on customize form of QBE report.

I've created a QBE report with all button's enabled in the customize form, when testing this with the
provider customize link the button's are shown and I can perform an insert etc...
When this QBE report-portlet is added to my rootpage and I go to the customize link everything is shown
except the button's ??? what am I doing wrong ?

Hi,
This is because it is the customize of the portlet. The customize of a portlet only supports the Apply, OK and Cancel buttons. Hence the QBE cannot support Insert in the customize. They are the full page options. The customize is to change the parameters of the report that control the output of the report. It cant be used to insert into a table. The Apply and ok do the same the thing that save does. It saves the customizations for the user.
