Hi suda,
By default its enable and visible
Ex: Tool>UDF>settings....active and enable...are ticked..
once am closing the SAP and relogin ....then am trying to enable the UDF by pressing CtrlshiftU or by clicking View>UserDefinedField....its not (enableling)displaying the UDF in title level and row level....
For getting display every time i need to alter (such as remove ,create,update..)any one of the UDF inside the Manage user Fields: Master data (or).Marketing documents...

  • How MRP would behave? if Pegging is not enabled at item level

    Hi,
How MRP would behave in the following conditions.
    Item Level Setup,
    1)No Pegging
    2)Soft Pegging
    3)Hard Pegging
    thank you in advance,

Just to clarify, irrespective of how you set the pegging attribute, the plan will calculate the supply /demand for the item (provided it is a planned item.)
If it is a "no pegging" item, you won't be able to drill down from a planned order to the demand that caused the planned order to be generated. Similarly, you cannot drill down from the demand to the planned order that satisfies the demand.
The soft pegging attribute is used if you do not have/want project/task data to be considered during planning.
The hard pegging is used if you segregate supplies by project/task and you do not want to use a supply meant for one project to satisfy demand for a different project (or a different planning group).
    Hope this helps,

I'm 99% sure i did, i think it's even mentioned in one of the guides.
Anyway i think this case will have to be closed for further discussion because the reason for this issue-thread
was the fact that my brother (living in another country) couldn't get his graphics to start up and i remotely helped him (he tried starting X, obviously) and I acted as the support.
However he droped ArchLinux (as is) for Manjaro (which worked beautifully with Xface off the bat, so my guess is that i missed something in the setup because running on my Dell ArchLinux runs perfect).l

    Magesh,
I just saw your other messages...
Go to Tools > User defined fields > Manage User Fields   --  Under Marketing Documents > Rows  check the field name here.
Then go the Form itself and Click on Form Settings Icon or Click CTRLSHIFTS or Tools > Form Settings and from the Table format Tab make your changes..

  • Poplist items not enabled for creating new records

In a multirow block where you can create a new record by clicking an item in an empty record, you can't click a poplist item: they are not enabled until a record is created. I's not a big deal but it makes the user experience somewhat inconsistent and awkward especially when the poplist item is the first one in the record. You also can navigate to it by tabbing from the last item of the previous record, only the mouse click doesn't work.
Any workarounds? This is Forms 10.1.2.3.0 and the behavior is the same using Jinitiator or Sun JRE.

    Hi,
Okk, you will have to do two things. Create two trigger on block level on which you want to do your changes.
    1. First trigger. (PRE-UPDATE)
In pre-update trigger u will have to write the complete insert statement into the same table with new req id. like
    DECLARE
    vReqNo DATA_TYPE;
    BEGIN
    SELECT MAX(REQ_ID)
    INTO vReqNo
    FROM your_table;
    INSERT INTO your_table
    (req_no, fields....)
    VALUES
    (vReqNo, :forms_values);
    END;
    2. Create 2nd trigger on block level (ON-UPDATE)
    write in this trigger
    NULL;
for viewing the inserted record. What u have to do is in ON-UPDATE after null; create one timer NO_REAPEAT.
and in timer u will have to set the block property to req_id = generated_req_id_from_pre_update_trigger and
    execute_query;
    hope it will work...

  • Hierarchy display not enabling drill down

    Hi
We have a custom hierarchy on the cost center object which has 5 levels. The 5th level is the cost center. In some nodes the values are repeating for the first 4 level.
    e.g.
    level 1 : ABC
    level 2 : ABC
    level 3 : ABC
    level 4 : ABC
In such a case the drill across functionality is working fine, but the drill down is not enabled with the hyper link for us to drill down the hierarchy
The hierarchy is properly displayed in the BW side.
what is disabling the hierarchy display

  • Attachments not enabling for a custom form

    Hi,
I created a simple Oracle apps custom form based on a custom table having only 2 fields. The form works fine.
I tried adding attachment functionality by setting up -
    - Document Entities
    - Document Categories and
    - Attachment Functions as given in many tutorials online.
I am still unable to see the attachment icon enabled.
I also registered the custom table using ad_dd.register_table and ad_dd.register_column and still the attachment icon is not enabled.
Even the profile option 'Indicate Attachments' is set to Yes at site level. Still does not work.
Is there any code that needs to be written on the standard attachments trigger in the fmb?
Please suggest what else I can do to enable the attachments icon/clip?
    Thanks!

This is the forms standalone forum. As attachment are a feature specific to the eBusiness-suite, you sould ask your question in an eBusiness-suite-related forum. Also, as far as i remember, there is a detailed chapter about attachments in the developers guide for eBusiness-suite development.

  • Windows XP Mode - Could not enable integration features

Hello!  Let me start off with saying that I'm not very computer savvy, so please be gentle!  :)
So here my problem.  I have scoured forums all morning looking for a solution and have tried many things and nothing has worked yet.  I have Windows 7 Pro.  I use the Windows VM to run in XP mode so my small business programs will
operate correctly.  This morning VM would not open.  I click to open Windows VM, it take unusually long to attempt to open.  After 5 or so minutes error message - Could not enable integration features with details stating .  It gives me
an option to retry or continue.  When I hit retry, it does so but the ending result is the same error message.  When I click continue it states the operation has failed - the VM is not running.
    What I HAVE tried-
    -Reboot
-Clicked start>windows virtual pc>open windows virtual pc>right click settings
              - From this point I have tried to shut down from the close option as well as uncheck enable integration features at start up. Status is in Hibernation and has not changed.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank You

Bob, I have read as much as I can find on this problem (Enabling Integration Features and having it remain enabled), and your responses are the most straight forward, complete and seem to have helped a number of others. So, I'm adding to this discussion,
instead of starting a new discussion, so that I can get YOUR response.
I am running Windows 7 Professional on a Dell Precision M6500 laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor and 8 Gb of memory.  When I first setup the laptop I installed Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode, after downloading from the Microsoft.com
website.  While the installation went without an error, getting to use it was a major, and long problem.  I have one (very) old planner software app that I've been using since the mid 1980s. Being somewhat stubborn, I refused to change to a newer
app. So, I installed the app under XP Mode (it doesn't run under Windows 7) and it worked fine.  I then tried to setup the printer and the Guest PCs drives (some USB).  I followed the Microsoft instructions and suggestions I found in forums.
I finally gave up and called and paid for Microsoft tech support.  Many weeks and we finally got it working - was able to print to my wireless printer from XP Mode and was able to backup my data to the Host PCs USB drives (I make three copies of the data
on a daily basis, so I actually have 21 copies of the data after a week).  When we got it working I never had a problem with Enabling Integration Features, before it would disable Integration Features after I enabled them, repeatedly.  Then a Windows
7 upgrade hung - 8 hours and the PC hadn't shut down.  I powered off the PC and then powered back up.  I got a blue screen error about CPU being too hot and the PC shut down. It was no hotter than usual. Powered up again and all seemed fine, until
I went to start XP Mode and my planner.  XP Mode was trashed, wouldn't start.  Tried to reinstall and still had the same problem.  So, another call to Microsoft Tech support and another fee. Interestingly, the fellow that I worked with this
time as a level higher and knew the first tech I worked with.  A few days and XP Mode was back running and the environment was actually as it had been when the PC crashed (the VHD file was still there and had my original environment - settings, programs,
printer and drive mappings - all in place, this file is in the same location as the VSV file).
Long winded background to my current, repeated problem. Integration Features will no longer stay enabled.  While I don't recall a "crash" or "hung" PC, my notes are all in that planner app in XP Mode and I can't get to it.  So,
I uninstalled VPC and XPM and reinstalled from scratch. Reinstalled my planner app, configured and tested my printer and host drives (didn't map them, just access them from My Computer).  Suddenly (as I said, I can't recall anything going wrong to trigger
the repeat of this problem) Integration Features will not enable.  I've deleted the VSV file and the problem still exists. Just "Shutdown" XP Mode and 50 Windows XP updates were installed.  Then installed 48 updates. It worked for one afternoon and
evening. Booting the laptop this morning and Integration Features again is unstable. One more Windows update was installed.  Then I followed your suggested steps:
Delete the" Windows XP Mode.vsv" file in the folder
    C:\users\[your user name]\appdata\microsoft\Windows Virtual PC\Virtual Machines.
That should then allow XP Mode to start correctly.
Have you uninstalled, rebooted XP, and reinstalled the Integration Components?  All of this occurs in XP Mode not on Win7.
    1. Uninstall the Integration Components in XP Mode from Add/remove programs
    2. Reboot XP Mode
    3. Reinstall the Integration Components in XP Mode from WVPC menu.
The laptop is also in the same Workgroup as the Host PC and all the other PCs on my LAN.
    Any suggestions?
Where can I find the following folders from XP Mode on the Host PC:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Documents
    C:\Documents and Settings\XPMUser\My Documents
I created folders in both with the backed up data and programs from my planner app and would like to have access to them from the Host PC.
I'm just about at the point of abandoning XP Mode and looking for an alternative Virtual Machine app, just using Outlook, or getting the Outlook app from the original software provider of my planner app.  All of these options are less
than ideal, but Microsoft's XP Mode has also become less than ideal.
    TIA
    Neil Cook

  • Bank Charges field not enabled in Receipts Form though the profile is set

Bank Charges field not enabled in Receipts Form though the profile "AR: Create Bank Charges" is set to 'Yes' at Application and Responsibility level. I have also given GL codes for Bank Charges in Payment Method Im using.
What could be the reason for the above?

For Bank Charges to work, we have to use payment method attached to Receipt Class with "No Remittance" Remittance Method and "Directly" Clearance Method. I created a new payment method, using that in receipts form enabled the bank charges.

    1. Drill down or filter all the characteristics present in the query.
    2. Check whether the "Open query in Change mode" is checked in Query properties.
    3. Check whether your real time infocube is in "Plan mode"
    4. Make sure that your planning cube is not locked by any other person when you are trying to open your query.

  • Top task billing (but checkbox customer at top task not enabled) shows no labor bill rate

    Hi
A project has been created initially with a single customer. The checkbox Customer at Top Task is not enabled. But the project funding is baselined at to task level. Now a number of customers and tasks have been added. For each new customer the project funding is defined to a new top task. But we can't assign the customers to the respective top tasks. However when we try to generate the revenue on this project the rejection reason is No Labor Bill Rate. But we do have labor bill rates. And even for the original customer we are not able to generate revenue any more. I assume the rejection reason is a red herring, and possibly caused by having the project funding completed for each customer and project/top task combination.
Has anybody come across this issue, and what is the best method to resolve this?
    Thanks
